-Chapter Two Hundred and Twenty-Five-

"What? You're still calling me that?" Nami frowned.

"Immoral girl?" I snorted upon hearing the nickname. "I'm curious as to how you got that nickname, Nami" I snickered as the ginger only grumbled in response.

"If you're going to the station, I'll show you the way" Paulie offered.

"Uh...thanks? I guess" Nami said, not sounding too sure of herself as if she was confused by the blonde's generous offer.

"Hey, hold on a second, Paulie" one of the men suddenly piped up.

"Is that stuff you told us true?" another asked.

"Quit your yapping and help them out already!" Paulie impatiently snapped, not in the mood to answer their questions or quell their confusion at the moment. "You're making Galley-La look bad!" he scowled.

"Yes, sorry, sir!" all the men saluted.

"We'll do our best!" one of the men promised.

"You're the boss!" they all shouted.

"Yeah! We'll help anyway we can!"

"Open the cage, bring out the Yagaras!" one of the men ordered as Nami, Chopper, and I exchanged glances with one another before we all three smiled.

"Went back home, did they?" Iceburg questioned.

"I spared them the details, it's better that way—it was bad enough when we found out" Paulie sighed. "They deserve the truth, but I don't want to hurt those guys" he admitted.

"These things are amazing!" I awed as I examined the Yagaras we rode, my hand gently rubbing the top of the sea creature's head that made sounds of contentment upon feeling my touch. I was practically amazed by the feel of its scaly skin beneath my hand as my eyes seemed to just sparkle in utter wonderment.

"Okay, Chopper, Skylar, it's all up to you two now" Nami said as she and Paulie went off in a different direction—one that I assume was going to take them straight to the station.

"Right! We'll find Luffy and Zoro—you can count on us!" Chopper firmly nodded as he tightly held one of Zoro's swords close. "Hey, guys, hello!" he shouted as we went off looking for the guys. "Hey, guys, can you hear me?!" he called out.

"Luffy! Zoro!" I shouted as I looked all around.

"Usopp, you can come with us too" Chopper quietly whispered which caused my lips to twitch up into a small smile. "Now, shout with us!" he ordered the shipwrights that were helping.

"Alright, buddy, you got it! Let's do it, guys!" one of the men nodded as the men started to repeat what Chopper and I shouted. Some of them even repeating Chopper's quiet whispers of wanting Usopp to come back—it was sweet. It wasn't long before we all started to spread out throughout the city in an attempt to cover more ground.

"Luffy, please, those guys are going to take Robin away!" Chopper cried. "We need your help, where are you?!" he screamed in a desperate attempt to be heard.

"Luffy!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

"Zoro!"

"Sanji!"

"Where are you?!" Chopper and I shouted along with the shipwrights. "We got to save Robin!"

"I don't get it, wherein the heck are they?" Chopper frowned when we still hadn't received any response from any of our friends.

"I don't know, but we have to keep looking—every minute counts" I told him as he firmly nodded his head.

"Luffy! Zoro! Where are you guys?!" Chopper and I shouted.

-Later-

"Really? So after that, Sanji went to the train station?" Chopper questioned after we regrouped with Nami and spoke with her to find out what was currently going on.

"I see" I nodded as a small smile tugged at my lips. "Well at least one of us got on the train before it left" I sighed in relief.

"Yep" Nami nodded. "At any rate, no matter how we're going to follow them, we can't do anything until we find Luffy and Zoro first—understand?" she asked.

"Right, we got it, Nami" Chopper nodded.

"Leave it to us" I grinned. "Though, I didn't expect it to be this hard considering how empty the city feels due to the oncoming storm" I admitted, having hoped that our voices would have carried far enough for the two to hear us along with us being able to hear them if they were to call back.

"Yeah, well I'm a hundred percent certain about which way they flew, so head in that direction and start looking!" Nami ordered. "You guys help look too!" she called out to the shipwrights.

"Let's do this, are you with us?" Chopper asked.

"We won't let you down!" one of the men cheered along with the other shipwrights.

-Later-

"Zoro! Luffy!" I shouted as I rushed through the empty streets as the only sounds I heard was the sound of my own feet pounding against the concrete ground and the sounds of the harsh waves that crashed against the shore of the island. My eyes soon spotted Chopper further up ahead as I picked up my pace before jogging up beside him. "Hey, any luck?" I asked.

"None" Chopper shook his head, looking a bit distressed as he cast a sideways glance towards me. "How are you holding up?" he worriedly asked.

"Huh? Oh! I'm fine" I answered, confused at first before looking down at the bloodstains splattered across my tank top as the poorly done bandages underneath were already starting to irritate my skin at how dirty they've recently become thanks to all this running around. "Hey, Chopper, you mind changing my bandages after we find the guys?" I asked, smiling a little as the reindeer nodded his head.

"Rain?" Chopper questioned as we came to a sudden halt and looked up at the darkening sky just as a light drizzle began to rain down on us. "This is bad, the strong winds are already interfering with my strong sense of smell" he frowned as we started to run again. "Answer us, please!" it wasn't long before we caught wind that Nami had spotted Luffy and when we arrived to where she was, we watched as she rushed towards the direction he was in which caused the shipwrights to start shouting after her for the reckless move she was making.

"Chopper, what are you looking at?" I curiously asked when I saw that his attention was now directed elsewhere. Curiously following his gaze, it took a minute for my mind to registrar the familiar pair of legs that I saw sticking out of a chimney of a nearby house.

"Skylar, get on my back!" Chopper ordered as I nodded my head and did as I was told, now tightly holding onto his soaking wet fur as we went racing towards the swordsman.

"No—wait! Not the other girl and reindeer!" one of the men gasped when he saw us take off.

"Zoro!" Chopper cried out the minute he came to a screeching halt at the chimney as I was quick to climb off him and move closer towards the stone structure. Bending down, I lightly knocked my knuckles against its rough surface. "Zoro, hey, you okay?" the doctor worriedly asked.

"You really got yourself in a mess, didn't you?" I chuckled as I knocked on the chimney once more in hopes that even if he couldn't hear us, he would at least hear the knocking and know that someone was here with him.

"Can you hear us?" Chopper worriedly asked when neither of us received a response from the moss haired man.

"Chopper? Skylar?" Zoro's muffled voice questioned as I pressed the side of my face against the rough surface of the chimney and smiled...though that smile seemed to fade quickly as the sound of a roaring wave filled the air.

"We're going to have to get him out quickly" I told the reindeer as my eyes trailed towards the ocean and watched as a huge wave slowly started to make its way towards the city. Chopper nodded, growing big and grabbing hold of the swordsman's legs as he now began to pull. "You're an idiot, how'd you get stuck anyways?" I softly laughed as I pressed my forehead against the brick and smiled.

"Oh, shut up!" Zoro snapped which caused me to softly laugh once more before loudly sniffing as it grew quiet after that with the only sound being Chopper's grunts as he tried to pull the swordsman free. "Are you alright?" he suddenly asked.

"Huh?" I questioned, not quite understanding his question.

"You're wounded, aren't you? He…I'm sorry, I wasn't able to protect you" Zoro sighed. "But, please, tell me that you're at least alright" he softly mumbled that I had to strain my ears for a moment in an attempt to really hear him.

"I'm fine!" I laughed, wiping at the stray tears that mingled in with the rain that dripped down my face. "Though you shouldn't worry about me, you're hurt as well! How are you holding up?" I worriedly asked as I pressed the palms of my hands against the chimney.

"These wounds are nothing" Zoro scoffed. "All I'm worried about is you—you can be so reckless sometimes, you know that? Looks like I'm going have to keep an extra eye on you from now on" he said as my eyes slowly widen and my heart started to beat a million miles a minute upon hearing his sweet words.

"I'm...I'm sorry I worried you!" I couldn't help but choke out, my lips twitching downwards as more tears started to well up in my eyes. In a way, it still felt so strange knowing that I now have more people in my life other than my brothers that worried about my safety. I was so used to no one else caring that to just hear another human being—another person that wasn't related to me by blood or didn't experience the same hell that I had growing up, tell me that they care enough to worry just filled my chest with such a warmth that I didn't know I could possibly feel.

"Sorry to interrupt you guys, but Zoro, you're really stuck" Chopper groaned as he continued to tug at the swordsman's legs which caused said man to groan in return at the feeling of his body practically being pulled in two separate directions. "I have to agree with Skylar, how'd you get in there in the first place?" he asked.

"Who cares?!" Zoro snapped, sounding almost too embarrassed to really want to answer that question.

"The waves getting closer" I worriedly remarked as I looked out towards the sea before turning my attention back towards the reindeer who was visibly starting to freak out. "Chopper, we have to hurry!"

"What are we going to do?!" Chopper frantically asked. "That wave's going to hit any second now!" he panicked.

"How the hell should I know?" Zoro grumbled. "Hold on, that's funny—hey, Chopper, are you carrying the Kitetsu?" he curiously asked as I cast a glance towards the reindeer and the sword that was currently attached to his back.

"Your sword? Yeah, I have one of them—how on earth did you know that?" Chopper frowned.

"Did you somehow notice that the sheath was empty?" I questioned.

"No, well, I can tell with that one at least—it's cursed" Zoro admitted which caused my eye to twitch.

"You're carrying a cursed sword with you, can you get any stupider?!" I snapped as the swordsman nervously laughed.

"Anyways, thanks for carrying it for me—here, quick, put it in my hand!" Zoro ordered just as Chopper and I started screaming upon seeing just how close the wave was. Once it hit, it was sure to submerge everything in its path underwater.

"Zoro!" Chopper and I worriedly cried as the reindeer quickly gave the swordsman his sword.

"Stay back, Chopper! Skylar!" Zoro ordered as my fear of the wave hitting us was quickly replaced by amazement as I watched how the chimney was easily cut down the middle—freeing the swordsman who quickly froze the minute he spotted the wave that was coming towards us. "Holy crap!" he gaped.

"Rumble Jumping Point!" Chopper transformed as I yelped upon having my body suddenly lifted off of the ground. "Just hold onto me!" he ordered as he jumped into the air and grabbed Zoro—jumping away from the building just as the wave crashed down onto it while we safely landed on a nearby bridge. I weakly chuckled as Chopper sat me down before he quickly apologized when he accidentally dropped Zoro. It wasn't long before Nami and Luffy landed on the same bridge as us as well while the shipwrights happily cheered in relief just as the raging water now submerged the surrounding area. Nami and Chopper brightly smiled at the fact that we were still alive as I dropped to my knees and gently probed at Zoro's cheek to make sure he was still alive.

But the calm atmosphere around us was soon crushed as the two that were once smiling started to scream as another huge wave made its way towards us. Just as the water was about to hit us, something snaked its way around all of our waists right before we were all engulfed by the wave. We were perhaps submerged for a few seconds before we were roughly pulled out and dragged back onto land. My body roughly sliding across the ground as I coughed up the seawater that I had accidentally swallowed when we had been submerged.

"Hey, you alright?" Zoro asked, helping me sit up as I only nodded my head while pounding a fist against my chest as more coughs racked through my body.

"Remind me to close my mouth next time we get submerged in a large body of water" I coughed as he gently smiled.

"Hurry!" Paulie shouted just as another wave started to make its way towards us. "We're not safe yet—run to Ship Building Island!" he motioned as Luffy snatched up Nami and I was lifted up along with Chopper by Zoro. We ran—that's all we could do to get away from the wave as the only thing to help calm my fear for just a minute was the way Chopper now clung to Zoro's face, the reindeer's teeth chattering as he looked back at the wave that was chasing us. With only a minute to spare, we luckily made it to safety. I couldn't help but laughed as I ignored the chatter around me—trying my best to now help Zoro in removing the doctor that still tightly clung to his face.

"Chopper, let go!" Zoro's muffled voice commanded as he started to lightly hit at the reindeer. Digging my heels into the ground, I continued to pull on Chopper's small body before bursting out into another fit of giggles.

"Come on, Chopper, my Chia Pet needs to breath!" I teasingly smiled as the swordsman grumbled and continued to hit at the reindeer.

"You morons, you're lucky to be alive" Paulie grumbled as he lit himself a cigarette.

"Thanks, you saved us, rope guy" Luffy panted out.
