-Chapter Two Hundred and Twenty-Seven-

"Neato!" Chimney happily cheered as she examined the train with childlike wonder.

"Did you have to add the face?" Zoro asked.

"I like it" I smiled.

"Don't worry, it may be mean, but it won't bite!" Kokoro laughed.

"Yeah, but I know someone who will" I chuckled as the moss haired man blushed a little and turned his head to the side, quietly grumbling to himself as he did so.

"Hey, look, it's Icepop's!" Luffy pointed out the minute Iceburg climbed down from the train.

"Hello there, Straw Hat, so you're okay after all" Iceburg greeted the moment he spotted us. "It seems your friends' faith was well-founded, I assume you bought them here, Kokoro?" he questioned.

"The question is, what are you doing here?" Kokoro asked. "You've been through a lot today, you need rest" she softly scolded.

"Well, let's just say you and I were thinking the same thing" Iceburg answered as he cast a glance back at the train. "We have a soft spot for idiots, don't we?" he smiled which caused the old woman to laugh. "Go ahead, I just finished servicing it—watering and coal have been loaded and steam is building up now" he assured us as he motioned for us to go on and get aboard the train.

"Thanks for getting it ready for us, we owe you one" Luffy grinned before almost losing his balance and falling right over.

"I wouldn't celebrate yet if I were you, you might not even survive the ride" Iceburg warned. "This was our failed prototype before we made the Puffing Tom, no matter how you tune it, you can't control its speed" he explained. "In other words, it's a runaway train."

"Oh, that sounds comforting" I nodded as I examined the train more closely. Well, now I know that Kokoro's warning from earlier was actually very serious.

"That's fine, it can go as fast as it wants" Luffy smiled as if not fully understanding what the man had just said. "Hurry up! Let's go—get on already!" he impatiently exclaimed as he started to push the stairs towards the train's entrance. "We're leaving as soon as Nami gets here, Granny!" he told us as he scampered up the stairs—almost falling—and pulling open the door to peek inside. "Oh man!" he awed the moment he poked his head inside.

"Luffy, are you okay?" Chopper asked. "You've been kind of shaky on your feet since we found you" he worriedly noted.

"Yeah, maybe you should take it easy" I frowned.

"He probably just lost too much blood" Zoro suggested.

"Maybe, I am kind of feeling dizzy" Luffy truthfully told us. "I think I need some meat" he said.

"Don't you mean rest?" I sweat dropped.

"No, meat!" Luffy wildly shook his head before huffing as he crossed his arms, not backing down from what he said.

"Hurry, this way!" I heard Nami order followed by the sound of multiple pairs of footsteps rushing down the stairs.

"Hey, wait! I don't know why you have to go all the way down here to eat your dinner!" a man shouted.

"He's right—if you're hungry, eat now!" another man agreed.

"You think all that food is for me?" Nami questioned, almost sounding a little annoyed with the men for their assumption.

"What?!" the two men asked.

"Sorry I took so long!" Nami apologized just as she entered the room.

"Nami?" Zoro questioned.

"Hey, you're back" I smiled.

"Hey! Save the small talk for later—get on board so we can go!" Luffy impatiently snapped.

"Wow! Amazing, so there's another Sea Train, huh?" Nami awed as she now stared at the train in wonder.

"It was hiding here all this time and we never knew..." a conductor muttered in disbelief.

"This is a real surprise..." the other one nodded in agreement as they both stared in bafflement at the second Sea Train in front of them.

"You're the one who told us to hurry, why are you the last one here? And what's with the big bag?" Luffy frowned as he motioned towards the big sack that the navigator was currently pulling off of the cart that the two conductors had been pulling for her.

"I bought you food and drinks" Nami said, and just like that, both Zoro and Luffy were crouched down near the open bag. One gathering up as much alcohol as he could and the other one stuffing his face with as much food as he could.

"Sorry I just yelled at you" Luffy apologized through a mouthful.

"I hope you don't plan on drinking all of that in one go" I sweat dropped as I looked towards the bottles of alcohol in Zoro's arms, my sweat drop only growing bigger when I saw the smirk he gave in response.

"He's ready to go!" Kokoro laughed.

"You'll shoot out of the canal and into the ocean" Iceburg told her. "If you can latch onto the railway...after that, it should be a good start" he nodded as he thought over the best course of action we should take after making it through the canal and out into the ocean.

"Don't you worry a bit, I like to drink, but I take my job seriously" Kokoro assured the man. "You just stay here and give that body of yours a good rest" she smiled.

"Sounds fine to me" Iceburg smiled right back.

"And while I'm taking care of these pirate folk, I hope you don't mind watching Gonbe and Chimney for me."

"Yes, that's fine."

"Don't go troubling yourself over him either" Kokoro suddenly said. "That boy got hit by a Sea Train you know? If he can survive that, I'm sure he'll be okay. Besides, we got the King of the Pirates on our side, we can't lose!" she proudly stated which caused me to sigh before a smile stretched across my lips as I watched Luffy offer Chopper a pineapple.

"Straw Hat!" a strangely dressed man suddenly shouted as he and a bunch of other strangely dressed people came bursting into the room.

"Huh? Who are they?" I asked.

"The Franky Family?" Nami questioned in confusion as she tilted her head, eyeing the men with suspicion due to not knowing their reasoning for being here.

"We're kind of busy right now" Zoro frowned as he stood up and grabbed hold of his swords.

"Please, Straw Hat, you guys got to take us with you!" the strangely dressed man suddenly begged. "Some people from Galley-La said you were going to take a Sea Train to Enies Lobby! Those government bastards took Franky—they took our Bro from us!" he cried. "We want to go, but we can't get through Aqua Laguna alone!" he sobbed.

"You sure you want to pick a fight on their turf?" Kokoro asked.

"I'll fight anyone, anywhere!" the man frantically nodded.

"We got to get our Bro back!" another cried.

"I don't care what happens to us, as long as we can save him!" a woman with square-shaped hair huffed.

"We're begging you! Please, help us, Straw Hat!" another woman with square-shaped hair begged. "We'll do anything!" she sobbed.

"If we don't hurry, Bro is done for!" the strangely dressed man cried.

"You got to be kidding me—you steal our money, beat up our friend, and then ask us for help?!" Nami frowned.

"I don't care!" the man shouted as he dropped to his hands and knees, body racking with sobs. "Even if it's wrong, I'm still begging you! I'll give up my pride if I can save him!" he sobbed as the rubber man finally finished off the last of his food before quietly making his way onto the train.

"Come on, hurry up" Luffy motioned to the man and his friends which actually took us all by surprise.

"Thank you so much!" the man cried as he and the others in his group started to cheer.

"Are you sure about this?" Nami asked.

"Eh, it's fine" Luffy shrugged as he waved off her worry.

"Thank you, Straw Hat!" the man brightened as he thanked the rubber man once more for his generosity in letting them come with us.

"Well, let's go" Luffy grinned.

"We don't have to get on the train though, we'll just hop on our King Bulls and head out to sea the same time the train takes off" the strangely dressed man told us. "All you have to do is let the Bulls catch a ride on your tail."

"What are King Bulls?" Zoro asked.

"Don't know, but they sound cool" I shrugged.

"Anyways, we're off—thanks! See you soon, let's go!" and with that, the Franky Family all turned and left.

-Later-

I softly moaned in slight pain as the bandages were tightened around my midsection a bit too tightly.

"Can you not make those sounds while I'm changing your bandages" Zoro mumbled as his cheeks were now dusted a light pink.

"Well, sorry, can't help it—you're making them a bit too tight, why couldn't Chopper do this again?" I asked, arms holding up my shirt so it barely raised past my breasts. I couldn't help but blush whenever I would catch the swordsman's eyes start to wander.

"He's busy" Zoro said as he finally finished, now gently dragging his fingertips up and down my sides which caused me to shiver and squirm a bit.

"Zoro..." I mumbled, ready to lower my shirt before I found my body being pushed back against the wall of the back room we had taken refuge in so we could privately change my bandages as I wasn't too keen on having them change in front of everyone. His lips were gentle this time as they pressed against my own. One of his hands quickly snatched up both my wrists and held them high above my head as the other one gently roamed my bandaged torso before reaching up to my chest. I quietly moaned into the kiss, face flushed and eyes fluttering shut as I kissed back, now tilting my head to the side as I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him as close towards me as I could. A whimper soon escaping my lips the minute he pulled away and started to trail kisses down my neck.

Lightly nipping at the flesh as the hand that was wandering my torso started to inch my shirt even further up. Everything felt hot and I couldn't help but thickly swallow the saliva that had built up inside my mouth as I now felt like my clothes were starting to suffocate me, but before anything could really escalate any further, the door to the room suddenly swung open.

"What's taking you guys so long?" Luffy frowned as we both snapped our heads in his direction, our faces now stained red with embarrassment. It wasn't long before he processed the sight before him and tilted his head in confusion. "What are you guys doing?" he asked.

"Get out, you idiot!" Zoro and I embarrassingly snapped which caused the raven-haired man to flinch as he nodded his head and quickly slammed the door shut. Leaving Zoro and me alone once more.

"That was embarrassing..." I muttered, hands now covering my face as Zoro sighed and began straightening out my shirt. He only hummed in agreement as I shook my head and stood up, ready to make my way towards the door to join the others only to instead be yanked back by my arm. "W-what?!" I blushed the second my body was bent over the swordsman's raised knee.

"I still need to get you back for earlier" Zoro grinned as I yelped upon the sharp sting that raced through my bottom...though instead of just one smack like earlier, he did a few more. Each one harder than the last until I was sure my ass was sore to the point that it'd be a while before I could actually sit down.

"Was the first one not enough for you, pervert?!" I cried out in embarrassment, wincing as I now rubbed my sore bottom. Zoro only chuckled as he slung an arm around my waist and pulled me into his side as we now joined back up with the others. He wore a proud look on his face as I tried to hide my embarrassment, hissing at Nami when I saw her snicker as she gave me a knowing smile. When the train finally took off, Luffy moved his way to the very front which left us all to talk amongst ourselves. Though, I didn't really care much for the conversation that was taking place as I uncomfortably shifted around due to how it hurt to just sit.

"What in the world is this place?" Nami asked which caused me to shake my head and look towards her as she peered out one of the windows where we could currently hear Luffy screaming.

"He sounds like he's having fun" I softly chuckled.

"An underground canal" Kokoro answered.

"Hey, Luffy, you okay?" Nami worriedly called out as she poked her head out one of the windows

"Water in my nose!" Luffy cried out.

"Duh! What did you expect would happen?!" Nami snapped.

"Careful!" Kokoro laughed.

"You sure it's alright to let the Devil Fruit user be out there on the front of the train?" I asked.

"He'll be fine" Kokoro said as she waved off my concerns. "I'm sure he wouldn't be out there if he couldn't handle himself" she said.

"I guess..." I sweat dropped as I thought back to our captain's track record of doing things no matter if they were dangerous for him or not.

"Woo! Didn't see that one coming!" I heard Luffy laugh as his voice seemed to just carry throughout the canal and drift in through the open windows. "Aw man, this is getting exciting! Hey! Hey, Granny, it feels a lot like we're falling!" he suddenly shouted.

"We're almost to the exit, full speed ahead until we fly out of here" Kokoro said.

"What?! No way, you're kidding, right?!" Nami cried out as I now peered out one of the windows along with Zoro just as we shot out of the canal. Luffy's screams filling the air as we practically went soaring through the air.

"Straw Hat! The Franky Family thanks you for helping us—we'll never forget it!" the strangely dressed man from before waved. "Fire the connection cannon!" he ordered just as something rammed into the back of the train which caused everyone inside to stumble around. Automatically I grabbed for Zoro's shirt as he wrapped an arm around my waist to keep my from falling right over.

"Cool!" Luffy shouted.

"Hey, nice job, pretty high-class Bulls you got there" Kokoro complimented.

"Awesome!" the rubber man outside exclaimed in what I could only assume was wonderment.

"Damn, those stupid bastards!" Zoro irritably coughed. "You idiots, you got to be more careful!" he snapped as I laughed, now poking my head out the window to watch as the Franky Family happily cheered.

"What a cheerful bunch of guys" Kokoro remarked.
