-Chapter Two Hundred and Thirty-Two-

"Whoa! That's huge!" everyone gasped the moment we spotted the gigantic, imposing gates that towered high behind Enies Lobby.

"I knew they were going to be huge, but geez..." I mumbled, feeling that such large gates were nothing short of overkill.

"It's not a good idea to open them all the way—when it comes time to send criminals through, only unlatch them just enough to let them pass" Kokoro explained. "Behind that gate are some big Sea Kings, that part of the sea is a lot like the Calm Belt, an eerie body of water cutting right through the Grand Line. No normal ship would dare to sail there, they'd be lost forever" she continued. "I don't know how they manage to do it, but somehow the Navy figured out a way to make it run safely—in other words, it's like the pirate girls said, you can't take back a criminal once they pass through those gates. Any chance of a rescue mission is going to have to happen before they open.

"Go, hop to it! There's no time to lose!" she encouraged.

"We'll head in and create a path for you, just like we planned" Zambai nodded. "Give them hell, Straw Hats" he grinned.

"Hey, you two over there?" Zoro questioned as he pointed towards Nami and Usopp when he saw how far away they were standing from us. "Aren't you supposed to be with us?" he asked.

"Wait, where's Luffy?" Chopper curiously asked.

"Huh? He was here just a second ago" Nami frowned as she looked around.

"You sure he didn't just move back up to the front of the train?" I questioned, watching as Usopp and Zoro exchanged knowing glances just as a sort of realization hit all of us.

"What?!" we screamed.

"Why the hell is he going on his own?!" Paulie snapped.

"That crazy Straw Hat—didn't he understand the plan at all?!" Zambai frowned.

"You know, you would think we would have learned by now that that boy doesn't understand the meaning of the word plan" I said.

"There goes our strategy..." Nami dejectedly sighed as her shoulders slumped downwards.

"There, there" I patted her back.

"He said, "alright, I got it," didn't he?" Sanji grumbled.

"He's really not the wait five minutes type" Sniper King pointed out.

"Damn, should have known!" Zoro cursed, and it wasn't long before the shipwrights and Franky Family left to do as they planned to—despite the captain already going on ahead, there was no need for us to stray from our original plan just yet.

"Alright, guys, you ready to roll?" Kokoro asked.

"Aren't you hurt?" Zoro curiously asked as he looked towards the long-nosed pirate.

"Don't worry, these wounds matter not to Sniper King!" Sniper King boasted which caused Chopper to stare up at him in utter awe.

"Only four minutes left, then the Sea Train—Rocket Man—is going to tear through" Kokoro informed us. "Two minutes to go" she counted down as I felt my foot start to nervously tap against the floor while my body began to fidget—I was unable to sit still. My hands would occasionally twitch as if wanting to just hold something warm to comfort myself, but Zoro had sadly taken his place outside near the front of the train.

"By the way, Sniper King—hey!" Nami snapped as she struck the back of the sniper's head when she noticed that he wasn't paying attention to her.

"That hurt!" Sniper King snapped right back.

"You think you can teach me how to use the cold air feature on this thing?" Nami curiously asked as she held up her Clima Takt.

"Sure, it's simple—I mean, why are you asking me?" Sniper King asked, quickly catching himself from the mistake he almost made.

"I hate waiting" Chopper suddenly admitted. "I hope everything's okay" he worriedly said.

"Don't worry, I hate waiting as well" I muttered, tilting my head back to look up at the ceiling as my foot continued to tap against the floor.

"All we can do is be patient, Chopper" Sanji said. "Even if Luffy jumped the gun, we got to sit tight and stick to the plan."

-Robin's P.O.V-

"Good to see you all back" was the first thing I heard as we reached a set of double doors. I didn't really react much, not truly caring what was happening around me. "Chief! Mr. Lucci's party has arrived!"

"Excellent!" another voice laughed from the other side of the double doors. "Well? What are you waiting for? Show them in already!" the person snapped as Lucci and the rest of CP9 was quickly ushered into the room. Leaving me alone with the blue-haired man that continued to lowly grumble to himself from beside me. Patiently as I waited, I couldn't help but let my gaze wander as I looked all around the area before my attention was drawn towards three pieces of paper—all three stapled onto a board with the words "Missing Children" tacked onto the top.

Cloud Strife. Reward: 475,000,000 belis. He looked no older than twelve with hair the color of the sun and messily spiked all around. His blue eyes seemed to bubble with rage as he sneered at the camera with such hatred as if he despised the fact that it was taking his picture.

Sora Strife. Reward: 475,000,000 belis. He was a young boy that looked to be no older than eight, his cheeks were puffed up and his lower lip was jutted out as if he was about ready to cry. His brown hair was messily spiked every which way, stray strands floating here and there as his blue eyes and nose were a puffy red as if he had been crying long before his picture was taken.

Skylar Strife. Reward: 475,000,000 belis. Unlike the last two, she was a young girl that appeared to be the same age as the last one—her hair was long and messily fell into her face. Dried tears streaked down her red cheeks as she held an emotionless stare. But, despite the lack of emotion on her face, there was a certain kind of fear in those blue eyes of hers, the kind of fear that even the camera itself couldn't fully capture.

Out of the three, I found my eyes lingering on the young girl—her name was so familiar to me seeing how I had become accustomed to hearing it during my time with the Straw Hats. I felt confused, wondering why there was a picture of the Swordswoman hanging up in a government facility, no less a missing child's poster.

"You seem really interested in that picture, Nico Robin" one of the men from before muttered as he too now looked at the picture that I had been so intensely staring at. I didn't respond, hesitant to remove my gaze from the poster before finally, I curiously looked towards him. "How many years has it been since their disappearance? Eight?" he pondered to himself as he seemed almost lost in thought. "And all this time Admiral Varen still hasn't given up his search for them—not all that surprising, I mean, what father gives up looking for his own children?"

"Father...?" I mumbled, raising an eyebrow as I had not been aware that any of the Admirals had children...then again, the government was good at keeping their high ranking officials private lives hush-hush. My knowledge of Admiral Varen was scarce as the man was quite elusive, always using his connections to make sure that not much information got out about him unless he allowed it—I was aware that he was a man deeply respected among many Marines as he was a man known to take his job seriously, a man that many claimed believed in true justice. It really shouldn't have been that much of a surprise to learn that the young teenager was related to the Marine Admiral, the last name Strife wasn't a very common last name. But, at the same time, it sounded kind of bizarre and made little to no sense as to why an Admiral's daughter would tuck herself away on a pirate ship of all placed—abandoning the luxurious life of a noble. "You said they've been missing for about eight years?" I couldn't help but curiously inquire.

"That's right, it's been that long since they ran away" the man nodded. "Nothing more than a bunch of spoiled brats, in my opinion, they probably didn't get the birthday present they wanted and so they ran to teach their parents a lesson" he joked, though there was a hint of bitterness in his voice. That wasn't uncommon, children from noble families were indeed known to be snotty and have an air around them that made their presence annoying to be around—they were known to always try and stir up trouble when bored or upset with their parents. Many of them so spoiled to the point that they never seemed content with what they had and always wanted more. But...I never got that feeling from the brunette during my time on the Merry, in fact, she was quite sweet and rarely showcased any signs of selfishness or superiority over the others.

So I had to wonder, just what could have happened to cause an Admiral's daughter to run away?

-Skylar's P.O.V-

"You ready, ladies and gents?" Kokoro asked over the intercom. "The time has finally arrived, if they don't have those gates open by now, it ain't going to happen" she told us. "I'm going to need you to take out that iron fence—okay, samurai man?" she asked, speaking to the swordsman that was still standing at the front of the train. "It seems we have to switch up our plan a little, your green haired samurai friend says you should all find something to hold onto" she suddenly informed us.

"Eh?" I questioned as I tilted my head.

"Better hurry!" Chimney laughed.

"Find something to hold onto?" Nami questioned.

"But, why?" Chopper asked.

"What? Are we going to go even faster than we already are?" I curiously asked.

"God, I hope not..." Nami mumbled.

"Hey, moss for brains, what's going on out here?" Sanji asked as he stuck his head out the window.

"They...uh...they closed the main gate" Zoro responded as I peeked my head out the window as well.

"Huh? They did?" I questioned. "Why?" I frowned.

"Say what?" Sanji owlishly blinked.

"This is bad, we're going to crash!" Sniper King cried out.

"What are we going to do?! What are we going to do?!" Chopper frantically asked as Nami started to heavily cry.

"I got a plan, don't worry" Zoro assured us.

"Okay, now I'm worried!" I called back.

"Alright, Zoro!" Sniper King, Chopper, and Nami cheered.

"Hey, frog—see that fence? Smash!" Zoro ordered Yokozuna.

"What?!" Sniper King, Chopper, and Nami shouted before the train suddenly jolted forward with newfound speed as it shot right off of the tracks. I flailed my arms as I felt my body tilting out the window before feeling Sanji quickly snatch up the back of my shirt and pulling me back inside.

"Careful" he said.

"Oh no! We're going to die!" Sniper King cried.

"What?! But, I don't want to die!" Chopper whimpered as Nami started to scream in fear.

"Nami, this way! I'll save you—fall into my arms!" Sanji cooed.

"Shut up, you idiot, I have enough problems right now!" Nami snapped. "Zoro, you better have thought long and hard about how you're going to land this thing!" she growled as we all poked our heads out the window.

"Of course, I have" Zoro said.

"Oh?" we questioned.

"We fall" Zoro simply stated.

"Ah, should have figured" I sweat dropped.

"I hate you!" the others cried.

"We'll find out if luck's on our side soon enough" Zoro said.

"Do you really have to leave everything up to luck?!" I snapped before being thrown back as the train jostled around upon striking something just before we crashed. "I'm going to kill that moss headed idiot..." I groaned while making my way out of the train on shaky legs along with everyone else.

"Excellent! Just like I planned it!" Sniper King suddenly boasted as he shot up off the ground.

"Whoa! Really?!" Chopper awed.

"Yeah, really?" I sweat dropped before taking note of the crowd of men that were now starting to surround us, many of them looking on in baffled shock as they stared at the damaged train that laid on its side.

"Hey, wait! I think I know that guy with the swords!" one of the men surrounding us shouted.

"Yeah, he's one of Straw Hat Luffy's henchmen, Pirate Hunter Zoro!"

"Henchmen, huh?!" Sanji laughed.

"At least he recognized me, you're not even a henchman!" Zoro snapped. "You're Pirate A" he suddenly grinned.

"What was that?!" Sanji immediately stopped laughing as he looked at the swordsman in irritation.

"Oh boy, here we go" I tiredly sighed.

"Maybe B" Zoro hummed in thought.

"Listen—when I get a bounty, it's going to be twice as much as yours!" Sanji growled.

"Whatever, Pirate C" Zoro mumbled.

"Stop changing it!" Sanji snapped.

"Hey, you two, stop!" Sniper King scowled.

"I don't think they can hear you, Sniper King" Chopper remarked as the two men seemed to just ignore the long-nosed pirate.

"Where's Nami? I can't deal with these idiots on my own" I said, already looking around for the ginger haired woman who didn't really seem to be anywhere in sight at the moment. Was she perhaps still inside the train?

"Don't worry, it's all part of my plan!" Sniper King suddenly proclaimed.
