-Chapter Two Hundred and Thirty-Five-

"So, that's where he is" Nami said.

"Looks like he understood where he needed to go at least, even if he didn't follow the plan exactly" I said.

"There was a bunch of smoke and broken stuff up there too" Chimney said. "So it looks like he's wrecking the place!" she laughed.

"Ah, classic Luffy" I smiled.

"Thanks, hopefully, we'll get there soon" Nami said.

"And, by the way, don't hang up the Transponder Snail—I'd like to keep track of what's going on with you folks" Kokoro instructed as she got back on the other end.

"No problem" Nami said. "See ya" and with that, she put the Transponder Snail away—making sure to do as the old woman asked and not hang up.

"Can't keep the captain waiting, right men?" Zoro asked as the men around us cheered.

"If we take too long, the captain might start the fun without us" I hummed as I felt the swordsman gave my hand a gentle squeeze.

"Good! You head straight for the courthouse—the sooner your crew can get back together, the better" Zambai instructed. "That's what I say" he said.

"Sounds good" Zoro nodded in agreement along with the rest of us.

"Meanwhile, we'll split into two groups and bring down the draw bridge" Zambai told us. "You hear that, Gomorrah? To the courthouse!" he ordered before the Yagara was suddenly struck. "Gomorrah!" he cried out in shock at the sudden attack.

"Damn! Who the hell is that?!" one of the Franky Family members growled.

"Don't get too cocky, scumbags!" a Marine sneered.

"Alright, the second one's down!"

"How's that, huh? Not so fast now, are you?"

"Alright! Everybody, move in!"

"Attention all Marine guards! Here in Block D, in the southeast quadrant, the pirates' King Bull has been eliminated—all units should move in immediately, form a block gate around the entire area!" a Marine suddenly announced over the intercoms that were scattered around the place. "I repeat, all military personals surround Block D, now!" he repeated.

"Well, they didn't waste any time" I huffed.

"Marines that we've trampled over are catching up to us again" Sanji pointed out. "Not good" he muttered.

"And it's not just them, we're surrounded here!" Zambai frowned.

"We've got Trans Motors aimed at us too!" Kiwi pointed out which caused Chopper to scream.

"There's got to be like a million-gazillion of those guys out there too!" the reindeer cried. "We can't even run away anymore! What are we going to do?!" he wailed before being cut off by the sound of an explosion that suddenly sounded out from the courthouse—pieces of the building crumbling and falling away from the main structure.

"Cook, see that?" Zoro asked.

"Yeah, I saw, you know what that means" Sanji sighed. "Luffy's already fighting CP9" he said.

"What?!" Nami and Chopper gaped.

"Huh? Seriously?" Zambai frowned. "Dammit! We're too late—but there's nothing we can do, we're surrounded and after taking that last big hit, I don't think Gomorrah's going anywhere" he said just as the Marines started to fire at us once again.

"Look, we got to run, we can't wait here any longer!" Zoro ordered.

"Yeah, let's cut through the courthouse" Sanji nodded.

"It's our only option!" Nami agreed.

"There's no quicker way to get there, it's the only shot we have!" I nodded.

"Right! Let's go, are you ready?" a member of the Franky Family asked as the other members started to cheer.

"Wait! Nobody get off!" Chopper suddenly cried out.

"What? Why?" Nami frowned in confusion.

"What is it, Chopper?" I asked, curiously looking down at the reindeer before my attention was directed towards the Yagara that was slowly starting to get back up.

"Everyone, hold on tight!" Chopper whimpered, thick globs of tears streaming down his face. "That's…that's what Gomorrah says!" he sobbed.

"It's still alive!" a Marine suddenly cried out.

"The monster's getting back up!"

"Fire! Stop it with a Trans Motor!"

"Return fire! Come on, hurry!" a member of the Franky Family quickly ordered.

"Go, Gomorrah! Charge!" Zambai cheered as the King Bull charged forward, his body swaying as if he could barely see straight. "Ah! Gomorrah, what are you doing?!" he asked when the giant Yagara suddenly crashed into one of the nearby buildings. "You're going to knock us off if you keep crashing like that!"

"Whoa, maybe he's too injured to go on" someone suggested.

"What? No! Gomorrah can't see!" Chopper shouted in shock. "His retinas were damaged in that last attack, he's blind!" he cried.

"What's that? Gomorrah, you can't see anything?" Zambai worriedly asked as he was taken aback by this sudden news.

"Gomorrah, don't do this! Please, stop!" Mozu begged as the King Bull continued to push forward.

"You're in no shape to go on, you'll kill yourself!" Kiwi cried.

"He said that he made a promise to Sodom" Chopper told us. "He told Sodom: Leave the rest to me, I'll take on your share and carry everyone the rest of the way" he translated as already I could feel the slight sting of tears in my eyes.

"How sweet..." I mumbled.

"Gomorrah" Zambai breathed out.

"Look, we're heading straight for a dead end! He'll crash into it and die!" a member of the Franky Member frantically shouted when he saw the building that now blocked our path.

"Gomorrah, stop it! You'll never make it!" Zambai cried. "Stop!" he pleaded.

"A dead end? I don't see one, do you?" Zoro asked.

"Nope, can't say I see anything of the sort" Sanji said with the shake of his head as the two jumped off of the King Bull and destroyed the building that had been blocking our path. It wasn't long after that did Gomorrah finally give in, his body dropping to the ground just in front of the courthouse.

"It's the courthouse, he did it!" Zambai cheered.

"You made it Gomorrah!" Chopper cried.

"You did a wonderful job there, buddy!" I praised.

"You did a good job, Gomorrah!" Zambai nodded in agreement. "I swear, everything you two did, will not be in vain! Alright, we're breaking in—it's time to save Big Bro Franky!" he cheered which caused the other members of the Franky Family to burst out cheering as well. Nami, Chopper, and I made our way over to Zoro and Sanji, each of us peering up at the courthouse that towered before us.

"Can you see Luffy?" Nami asked.

"Nope" Sanji shook his head.

"Would we even be able to see him from this far down?" I questioned.

"Doesn't matter if he's up there or not, it's not exactly like we can jump after him" Sanji said.

"That's true, not much we can do" Zoro agreed.

"How many members of CP9 did you see up there?" Nami asked.

"It's just that one big guy with the bull horns" Zoro answered.

"Is that all? He shouldn't have much trouble up there then, should he?" I asked, watching as the swordsman nodded.

"It's hard to believe that Robin, Franky—all of them, are right behind those doors" Sanji said.

"In any case, we need to catch up with Luffy, then we can save Robin together" Chopper said, and it was at that moment that a large flail suddenly came barreling towards Nami and before anyone could react, it was Yokozuna who jumped to the navigator's protection—using his body as a shield as he stopped the flail.

"Whoa! That frog's awesome!" a member of the Franky Family gaped.

"That's the same ball that took out Gomorrah! Who threw it?!"

"Look! There's three of them and they're running away!"

"Why are they running away?" Chopper frowned. "They're the ones that attacked first!" he huffed.

"Most likely to lure us away from the courthouse" I said, narrowing my eyes. "They're hoping we'll follow them" I said.

"Idiot cook!" Zoro suddenly snapped the minute he saw Sanji chasing after one of the men. "We can't go off chasing every enemy like that, it's a waste of time!" he growled as a sudden explosion rang out and destroyed the wall to a nearby building.

"Oh, pipe down, it's confirmation!" Sanji snapped as a very heavy man behind him fell to the ground. "Some of them need to be chased, understand?" he asked. "To find out who we're up against" he huffed.

"Oh!" the Franky Family gasped the minute they caught sight of the knocked out man's weapon.

"Who is this guy?" one of them asked.

"He must have superhuman strength to swing something like that around!"

"I believe the weapon he has is referred to as a flail" I piped up.

"Does it really matter if we know what type of weapon he has or not?" Nami frowned.

"Well, no" I shrugged. "But it's always good to have a basic idea what weapon your enemy wields so you know how to deal with them" I said.

"You think he's apart of some special unit? Like those guard dogs?" a member from the Franky Family curiously inquired.

"There's probably more of them hiding out there somewhere, let's be careful" Sanji said.

"We need to get moving! It looks like the reinforcements have arrived!" Zambai shouted just as more Marines came rushing towards us.

"Surround them! There's no way they'll be able to open those heavy stone doors!" a Marine ordered. "We'll have them cornered, move it!" he snapped.

"He's right! Now that I think about it, how…are we going to open…those big stone…" Zambai trailed off as he gaped at Zoro who easily cut an opening for us.

"Well, that's one problem solved" I smiled.

"We're going in first, stay close, don't fall behind!" Zoro ordered as we all rushed inside, leaving Zambai and them to decide on what they needed to do while we worked our way through the courthouse. The moment we entered, it was an all-out fight as Marines swarmed us from every angle.

"Baskerville! Chief Justice Baskerville, come in, it's me!" my ears perked up to the frantic voice that seemed to stand out over the sound of fighting—a voice that was loud and sounded panicked as if it demanded to be answered right away. My attention for only a moment was directed from the Marines that I fought off towards a three-headed man that held up a Transponder Snail. I didn't look at him for too long though before I directed my attention back towards the enemy. Holding up my swords and blocking the blade that was swung down at me.

"Oh! Hello Chief Spandam" a three-headed man answered.

"This is Left Baskerville on the left!" the left head piped up.

"This is Right Baskerville on the right!" the right head proclaimed.

"And located on in the center is none other than I, Central Freeway, closed for repair!" the center head declared before the two heads on either side of him angrily smashed their heads against his own.
