-Chapter Two Hundred and Sixty-Two-

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Oh no, this is bad! Papa is really angry!" Lil gasped, eyes wide and frantic as she looked all around the shaking room.

"Help! Save me!" Usopp cried as he now found himself caught up in the vines of a flower that was beginning to eat him.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, eating him will give you bad indigestion" Sanji said which caused me to snort before I winced the moment the roof suddenly caved in, shards of ice breaking through the ceiling and falling straight towards the little girl.

"Lil!" Robin and I gasped just as Usopp destroyed the flower that had been trying to eat him which caused the vines to weaken their hold on Robin and me—to weaken enough to drop us both to the ground as Robin was quick to use her Devil Fruit powers to protect the child from the shards of ice that fell while we both rushed to her side and tightly hugged her whimpering form between the two of us.

"Lil, it's okay now" I softly told her.

"You're safe" Robin assured her.

"There's no need to cry, we won't let anything hurt you" I promised her as I gently rubbed my hand up and down her back in an attempt to soothe her fear.

"You…you saved me..." Lil muttered as she looked up at us in disbelief.

"If anything happened to you, big sister Robin and big sister Skylar would be sad" Robin smiled.

"We got to keep our precious little sister safe, don't we?" I smiled, gently ruffling Lil's hair as tears slowly started to well up in her eyes.

"Don't you see, Lil? You're not alone, you've never been—treasure your family" Robin told her and it wasn't too long before Lil composed herself enough to lead us out of the garden and give us directions towards her father's room. Sanji dragged Usopp behind him while Robin and I followed closely behind the two.

"Chopper!" Sanji and Usopp called out the moment we entered Papa's room and spotted the reindeer.

"Hey, guys!" Chopper waved the moment he spotted us. "Look, I got our flag back before Luffy!" he brightened as he held up the flag that he was holding.

"Way to go!" I smiled.

"Just in time" Zoro grinned.

"Alright, we did it! Now there's nothing Luffy can—huh?" Sanji questioned the moment we all noticed that the flag the reindeer was holding wasn't the correct one.

"No! You've got to be kidding me!" Usopp cried out.

"It was right in front of me! How could this have happened?!" Chopper cried in despair.

"Now we're right back where we started, huh?" Robin questioned.

"It seems so" I sighed while rubbing the back of my head. "Looks like we might be getting that scolding from Luffy after all" I couldn't help the way my lips lightly twitched upwards as I heard the breathless chuckle the raven-haired woman gave followed by the bemoaned groans of the others at the mere thought of being reprimanded by our captain.

"Doctor!" Jiro suddenly shouted as he quickly directed our attention towards all of the flags that were currently flying around the room.

"Come on, Robin, can't you link a bunch of your arms together and reach those flags?" Zoro asked.

"Yes, but I can't tell which one of them is ours, there's too many" Robin admitted.

"That is a problem" I bit my lower lip as I tried my best to get even the slightest glimpse at the Jolly Rogers on each of the flags that flew around, but they were just moving too quickly that the mere idea of trying to distinguish the skulls and crossbones from one another seemed absurd.

"Aw crap! What are we going to do now?!" Usopp frantically asked.

"Looks like we're screwed" Sanji frowned.

"Uh...hey! Wait!" Chopper cried out. "Look, guys!" he pointed towards something that was shining and flying around the room—something that didn't quite look like a flag.

"What's wrong? Do you see something?" Usopp asked.

"A bird?" Jiro questioned.

"Hey, that's one of Lil's birds" I muttered as I watched how the bird-fish swooped down towards us, dropping our flag right on top of Chopper head in the process before it swooped back up.

"I can't breathe!" Chopper shouted as he quickly scrambled to remove the flag off his head. "Look! This is it!" he gasped the minute he saw the Jolly Roger on the flag before holding it out for all of us to see.

"It's our flag!" Sanji grinned.

"We finally got it back!" Usopp cried.

"Our flag!" Chopper cried as well as he tightly hugged the crying sharpshooter.

"I can't believe it! I thought it was gone for good!" Usopp sobbed out in relief, pleased to know that we had actually succeeded in getting our flag back.

"Good for you, doctor!" Jiro happily smiled before yelping in surprise when he was suddenly tackled into a hug by Chopper. I smiled at the two before my attention was dragged over to the sight of something moving near one of the pillars. Staring for a moment, my smile slowly widened as I now had an inkling on exactly who was currently hiding behind that pillar.

"Thank you, Lil" Robin and I whispered.

"Hey, Robin, Skylar, time to go" Sanji said. "Now that we got the flag back, there's no reason to hang around here any longer" he said as he motioned for the both of us to start following him and the rest out of the room.

"Right" Robin nodded.

"Right behind you" I smiled.

"Let's move out! Next stop, the Sunny!" Usopp cheered.

"Yeah!" Chopper nodded as we all started to run.

-Later-

"What's that?" Sanji asked as he stared in disbelief at the gaping hole in the ground that was filled with molten lava at the bottom.

"Looks like lava, no wonder it's been getting so hot around here" I said.

"What the hell?! What's going on here?!" Usopp gaped at the bizarre sight of a lava-filled hole in the middle of an arctic wonderland such as this place.

"Look, over there!" Chopper suddenly pointed.

"It's Luffy" I said the minute I spotted the captain down in the hole.

"Luffy?" Zoro questioned.

"What's he doing out there?" Usopp frowned.

"Hey, Luffy! Over here!" Chopper suddenly started to wave his arms around along with the flag as he innocently attempted to get the captain's attention. Sanji was the first to react, quickly ripping the flag from the reindeer's hoofs and tossing it over to Usopp before covering Chopper's mouth.

"What do you know, it's my crew—hey, what do you guys think you're doing over there? Huh?" Luffy asked.

"No! He saw us! Great, so now what?!" Usopp frantically asked.

"Everyone, hurry! Let's head back to the ship!" Nami ordered as she came running towards us.

"Right!" Sanji nodded.

"Let's move it" Zoro agreed.

"Listen, stick to the plan, we can't let him know the truth" Nami informed us as we all continued to run.

"Come back!" Luffy shouted as he rocketed himself out of the hole and began to chase right after us.

"He's right behind us!" Usopp cried out the moment he peeked back at the captain.

"Wait! Why are you running?!" Luffy asked. "What about our flag?!" he shouted.

"Sorry! We can't hear you!" we shouted back.

"Hey, you're back! Hurry it up!" Franky called out to us, waving his arm the minute he spotted us racing towards the ship.

"Hey, you guys!" Luffy shouted, already starting to sound annoyed with us.

"He's almost here! What's the plan?!" Usopp frantically asked.

"Sanji, Zoro" Nami said.

"Aye, aye!" Zoro and Sanji nodded their heads as they both placed a hand on Usopp's shoulders. "Let's do it!"

"Fly!" Sanji harshly kicked the long-nosed pirate up into the air.

"Here we go, Usopp, make sure to hang it nice and straight" Zoro said as he jumped up to the sharpshooter.

"What?! Wait a minute!" Usopp cried, not quite understanding nor liking where this plan of theirs was heading.

"Usopp Cannon!" I winced as I watched how the long-nosed pirate was sent flying towards the ship.

"Poor Usopp..." I mumbled.

"I'm flying!" Usopp exclaimed in disbelief.

"Franky!" Nami shouted.

"Leave it to me!" Franky nodded as he followed through with the rest of the plan.

"Hey, what are you guys doing? You let our flag get stolen—we need to hurry and get it back!" Luffy scowled the minute we all stopped and finally turned to face him.

"Stolen? The flag? What on earth are you talking about?" Nami innocently asked.

"You probably just had a bad dream or something, right?" Sanji asked.

"Um...sure, yeah, that's it" Zoro agreed as he and the blond nervously began to laugh.

"The flag is still right where we left it" I softly smiled as I crossed my arms behind my back.

"Here, see for yourself" Robin said as she motioned towards the flag that Usopp and Franky had succeeded in hanging back up.

"What the...? It's right there, safe and sound!" Luffy gaped as he looked up at the flag in disbelief as if he hadn't expected it to be there. "That stupid clone guy, he must have been lying! I'm sorry, I shouldn't have doubted you" he apologized.

"It's okay, no worries" Nami, Zoro, and Sanji assured him which caused me to chuckle.

"Hey, look" Usopp said the moment we were back on the ship and were now witnessing as the ground of the island began to shake which caused the ice to start breaking. "I don't know what's happening, but I know I don't like it" he frowned.

"Accino went nuts with his heat powers causing the volcano under the ocean floor to become active" Nami explained. "We need to hurry, it's only a matter of time before this thing erupts" she said.

"Right, then let's set sail! Move it!" Luffy ordered.

"Aye, aye!" we nodded as we started to set sail.

"The whole island—it's gone!" Usopp gaped as he watched how the island we were leaving behind seemed to just melt away. "Whew! Man, that was a close one" he sighed in relief knowing that we weren't on the island when it happened, but I couldn't help but bite my lower lip in worry. I hope Lil was alright.

"Straw Hat! I swear upon the honor of the Accino Family, you and your crew will never escape!" a man wearing a blue shirt angrily shouted.

"Get lost, you annoying clone twin guy" Luffy frowned.

"Clones and twins are two completely different things" I sweat dropped.

"I'll make you pay for what you did to Papa!" the man snapped.

"Campacino!" a redheaded man shouted as the ship that we had been helping earlier before this whole mess happened appeared.

"What? It's Puzzle!" Campacino frowned.

"I'll be your opponent—you and I have a score to settle!" Puzzle grinned. "Hey, Straw Hat! This guy is mine, stay out of this, got it?" he asked.

"He is?" Luffy questioned.

"You go on ahead and be prepared to face me when we meet again in the New World" Puzzle said.

"Right, I'll be ready for you" Luffy nodded.

"Damn you!" Campacino sneered as he shot towards Puzzle's ship, no longer interested in us.

"Let's go!" Puzzle grinned as he and his men rushed right towards the man.

"Jiro! Luffy, turn around, we have to go back and help them!" Chopper cried out as we began to sail away from the fight. "They're going to get themselves killed!" he worriedly shouted.

"You're wrong, take a look, Chopper" Luffy said with the shake of his head as he motioned for the reindeer to look back at the men that were fighting. "They won't lose, they're doing better than ever" he smiled.

"Yeah, you're right" Chopper softly smiled in return as we all watched the fight.

"Hey, you! Why are you still hanging around? Hurry up and leave!" Stansen shouted the minute he saw that we were still lingering.

"Bye! We'll see you in the New World, doctor!" Jiro waved.

"Bye! Until then, Jiro!" Chopper waved right back.

"Sunny, full speed ahead! Set course for the New World!" Luffy grinned.

"Yeah!" we cheered.

-Time Skip-

"This is uncomfortable" I quietly groaned as I stepped out onto the deck, the bottoms of my boots lightly sinking into the grass of the deck every time I took a step. I was right about that dress Nami and Robin had bought, it was a bit too short for my liking as it stopped just short of mid-thigh. I found my hands moving up to straighten out the corset part to make sure it was properly covering my chest before moving them down to tug at the skirt-like bottom in some attempt to assure myself that everything really was modestly hidden.

"And now, for his next trick, Usopp will fly!" I just barely looked towards Luffy and them as I walked over to Robin who seemed busy with tending to her garden.

"Nice dress" I said the moment I got a good look at the purple dress she was wearing.

"Thanks, you too" she chuckled as she motioned towards my own dress in return. "I see you finally got around to wearing it" she said, a look of amusement shining in her eyes as she seemed to just take a moment to examine the dress that I wore and how it looked on me.

"Only because Nami dragged me out of bed, shoved it into my arms, and then threw me inside the bathroom where she proceeded to block the entrance—I had the choice between staying trapped in the bathroom or putting on the dress" I grumbled. "I feel uncomfortable...why is this so short?" I huffed as I once again tugged at the bottom of the dress.

"You're just imagining things, it's the perfect length for you" Robin smiled as she turned her attention back towards her flowers. "It suits you well, besides, I bet Zoro would agree with me" her smile turned a bit sly as soon as she mentioned the swordsman, a certain gleam in her eye that told me exactly what she was thinking at the moment.

"Shh!" I quickly shushed her, face heating up as I looked around us for any signs of the swordsman who I have yet to seen today. "He hasn't seen me yet and I plan on keeping it that way for at least until midday!" I blushed as the raven-haired woman laughed.
