The next day, Wade and Ember had gone out for a walk.
"It's good to see all the change around here," said Ember as she looked at the rebuilt buildings. There were also some non-fire elementals walking around and going into some stores.
"Especially the water way, it needed higher walls to keep from splashing down on this area," said Wade while looking up at the water way which had a splash guard on the edge, keeping the water from spilling over.
"Well, if it's not Wade and Ember," said a female fire elemental.
"Nice to see you again, Mrs. Smokes," said Ember.
"Looks like you two have been having a good time away from home," said Mrs. Smoke with a chuckle.
"You can say that," said Wade while blushing.
"We actually are going to have a small wedding next week since the little one is due soon," said Ember as she placed a hand on her belly.
"I don't blame you for keeping it small with a little one on the way, you may go into labor any minute so a small wedding would be good," said Mrs. Smokes.
"And I hope everything goes great for the three of you," she said.
"Thanks," said Ember and Wade. Suddenly, the happy moment was cut short by the sound of glass breaking.
"Hey you little brat!" yelled a male fire elemental shopkeeper who ran out to confront a young male earth elemental.
"I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean for that rock to hit your window," said the boy.
"Even if it's an accident it will take a good amount of money to fix this," said the shopkeeper while looking at all of the glass on the ground.
"Excuse me, but I can help fix your window faster and for a cheaper price," said Ember as she walked up to them.
