The three of them were lucky to find each other on the cursed cruise ship. Their day to day was chaotic and eventful but they figured out a way to work together to help their patients. Robert didn't even bat an eye when he found out about them. "When you know, you know," he murmured.
"And you've known for a while?" wondered Avery.
"I knew before you three did - the chemistry was palpable," he replied to her. He winked then went on his way.
Avery flushed. "Fuck, we're that obvious?"
"I think everyone on this ship knows about us, including the passengers," an amused Tristan pointed out.
"Yeah, I've definitely gotten some comments recently," Max added with a smirk.
She groaned. "I hate you both."
"No, I think you love us, Avery." Tristan laughed at the look of faux outrage and real panic on her face.
"You're lucky. Morons," she quipped.
Max sighed. "Unfortunately, I think we need to wrap this up and be professionals again." He gave them both a quick peck on the lips before they then headed back to the medical wing.
After they wrapped up dealing with a broken leg, they sat down to eat a hopefully uninterrupted dinner. "Table for three?" Tristan flirted.
"Cheesy motherfucker." Max fondly glanced at their boyfriend, though, and Tristan couldn't help but return the favor.
"Pay attention to me or I'll feel left out." Avery pouted at her boyfriends, and they both laughed before picking up her hands. Tristan then proceeded to grab Max's too so they were fully connected.
Max, Avery, and Tristan hadn't expected to end up here but they weren't mad about it. None of them had ever been this happy, and they didn't take this relationship for granted. They were the loves of each other's lives.
