Twenty-Fourth Installment: Season 1 Episode 8: Mac-sic-cle
Diego accidentally freezes Mac into an ice block shortly after The Seven closes for the day.
"Could you hurry up so we can get our freezin' on?"
I groaned yet again at his persistent enthusiasm. Since Mac has learned about my powers, he's been adamant about me practicing them more.
"Our freezing?" I asked, flipping the chairs onto the table. The Seven is finally closing, which means no onlookers for my impending "magic tricks."
"Yeah!" He exclaims, putting down his popcorn. "I bring the stuff, you freeze the stuff."
"I just have to clean back here but uh…. it's gonna take a long time if it's just me." I pointed out, walking behind the bar counter.
He sighed. "Okay fine; I'll help."
The last two customers in the restaurant were finally leaving and I said a quick thank you; come again!
Suddenly I clutched my stomach as I walked up to Mac, feeling a small pain.
"What?" he asked, concerned.
"I think I drank too much soda." shortly after, I burped, releasing a bit of the gas in his direction.
But looking up, I noticed a change in Mac.
I stumbled back, not believing it. "MAC?!"
He was frozen solid, in a case of ice! I tapped on the ice to see if I could break it to no avail.
"Mac! Oh no, what did I do?! MAC!" I yelled, freaking out.
I can't believe I did that! I thought to myself. Oh my gosh, how do I reverse it? I didn't mean to do it! And what if he dies because of me?
My mind raced, and I could not believe that I had done this to my best friend. Maybe Mac was right. I really should be practicing my powers so I can get them under control.
There was only one person I could think of who could help with this: Coach Julio.
But I won't see him until tomorrow, so I had to figure out where to put Mac for the night, and it had to be somewhere that is warm so the ice could melt a little.
Putting my hands in my hair, I realized I'd be having a very long night ahead of me.
Yeah...this wasn't great. Sorry about that, but I did want to make a POV with Mac, and this is one of my favorite scenes of his, even though he was barely in it.
Anyways, tysm for all the favs, followed, and comments over the years. This may be the last I write for the EWW series, for I have moved on to other fandoms. I had more ideas for this compilation story but I lacked time and motivation :/
I will always remember this one since it's one of the most unique stories I've written on the site. *hearts* BYE TO WHOEVER IS LEFT!
