CHAPTER 1

Michelle stepped off the plane at Dulles International Airport, excitement and anxiety swirling within her.

Checking her watch, she frowned. Luke was supposed to be there waiting for her. "Typical," she muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes. She shot off a quick text: Hey, I'm here! Where are you?

As she waited by the baggage claim, she took in the chaotic scene around her. Travelers rushed by, some laughing, others glued to their phones.

Thirty minutes later...

Still no sign of Luke. Her phone buzzed, and she looked down to see a message from him. Can you relax. I was wrapping a case. I'll be there in 10.

Michelle sighed, half amused, half annoyed. With a smirk, she replied, Maybe I should just take a taxi. You know, like I wanted to.

Another fifteen minutes passed.

Finally, she spotted Luke rushing through the terminal, his expression a mix of relief and embarrassment. "Sorry! I wanted to finish my report. Rough case." He wrapped her in a tight hug, lifting her off her feet momentarily.

"Really? I thought you went to your apartment to hide your porn stash." she teased, stepping back and folding her arms.

"Hey, I'm just trying to give you a warm welcome," he replied with mock seriousness. "And they were comic books."

As they headed to the parking garage, Luke's excitement was palpable. "You're going to love it here."

Michelle chuckled. "Right, just remember I came here for Roxy. Only girl who hasn't broke my heart"

"Why you trynna hurt me," he said, flashing her a grin. "I missed you too."

After a quick ride to Luke's apartment, they burst through the door. They quickly fell into their familiar rhythm, bickering over who was the favorite child and sharing inside jokes from their childhood.

By the end of the week, Michelle was knee-deep in apartment hunting. Luke, despite being protective, had insisted on letting her explore on her own terms.

Luke was in the kitchen when Michelle arrived from apartment viewing, she tossed her bag down and flopped onto the couch with a dramatic sigh. "It's so hard to find a good place, isn't there Tinder for apartments? This couch is killing my back."

Luke chuckled as he sat next to her and tossed her a bag of chips. "You could always get a mattress instead of hogging my couch."

"And put it where?," she replied, a teasing smile playing on her lips. "Besides, the three of us are barely existing in this place. I need to get me a mi casa."

Later that night Michelle went to a bar, she ordered herself a drink. As she sips her drink and scanning the place out. In the corner of the bar, a woman caught her eye. She was beautiful, with striking features and only thing missing was a smile. Michelle felt drawn to her and decided to approach.

"Mind if I sit?" Michelle asked, sliding onto the barstool beside her.

"Not at all," the woman replied, her eyes seem to be drowning in the glass. The woman seem to be occupied mentally.

"I'm no bartender but I'm a good listener," says Michelle with a grin on her face. "Can I get 3 single shots, please."

The woman gets pulled out of her thoughts and looks up. "I would like to enjoy my drink alone, if you don't mind."; she says sipping her drink.

"Me too."; says Michelle, pushing the shots between herself the woman. "Let's hear who had a crappy week, I'll go first."

Michelle goes on about apartment hunting, having to sleep on her brother's couch in his one bedroom apartment. How she moved to be closer to her brother. "Your turn?"

"ah! You're new around here, that explains a lot," Emily raises her glass to cheers with a little smile. "Welcome."

Michelle smiles, raising her glass. "Your turn." Emily talks about her week, finding dead children in a cellar and they thought the kids were kidnapped only to release their father was the one who put them there as they were being loud while he was high. You don't even respond but just push all the shots to her.

"I told you, not good company."; says Emily downing the shots. They ask the bartender to keep the drinks coming, and soon they found themselves lost in each other's company, the rest of the bar fading away.

Later that Night...

After several more drinks, Michelle and Emily decided to leave the bar together. "Want to come back to my place?" Emily suggested, her tone playful yet sincere.

"Why not?" Michelle grinned, feeling bold.

Once they arrived at Emily's apartment, the atmosphere shifted. As soon as the door closed behind them, they were already half naked.

Emily pulled back. "Let's go upstairs."; she says leading the way.

They made their way to her room, both naked already. Emily was on top, as they passionately kissed. Emily was moving her hand down Michelle's thighs, when Michelle flipped her over taking the lead. Michelle's lips found Emily's neck, trailing soft kisses down to her collarbone. Kissing her way down Emily's body, savouring every moment.

"Just like that," Emily urged, her breath hitching as Michelle reached her spot. Emily gasped, her hands tangling in Michelle's hair, encouraging her to explore further. As Michelle's tongue worked magic, Emily's hips began to grind against her, seeking that peak of pleasure. With each flick and swirl, Michelle felt the power she held.

"Please," Emily moaned softly, the need in her voice urging Michelle on. With determination, Michelle increased her rhythm, her body moving in sync with Emily's desires. The older woman's breaths grew uneven as the tension built, the sweet waves of pleasure crashing over her with intensity that sent her spiraling. With one final sweep of Michelle's tongue, Emily reached her climax, her body shuddering as bliss coursed through her, a symphony of release.

Michelle kisses her way back up to Emily's face, finding her lips enjoying the sight of Emily finding her breathe and twitch to the touch of Michelle's lips touching her body.

"I'm Emily"; she says out of breath, Michelle just chuckles. Wrapped in each other's arms, they drifted off to sleep.
