"Can't believe I'm so late!" said a female Black Dog student as she ran across a courtyard.
"Watch out!" yelled someone. Suddenly, they crashed into each other, knocking the other to the ground.
"Sorry, are you… alright?" asked the Black Dog as she looked up to see a female White Cat student.
"Oh, it's you, Maggie," said the girl while getting up and holding her hand out.
"You running late too, Ino?" asked Maggie as she took the girl's hand and stood up from the ground. Once she was up, she patted her skirt to knock off some dust and dirt.
"Yeah, my alarm broke," said Ino.
"Well I slept through mine, so I guess we're both having a bad day," said Maggie.
"We're already late so might as well take our time getting to class," said Ino as the bells went off in the distance.
"But we will be in trouble," said Maggie.
"Not like that stopped us before," said Ino with a smug smile.
"You two really need to stop flirting in public," said a male White Cat that approached them.
"Says the guy caught kissing his girl in a hallway during class last week when he was supposed to be going to the bathroom," said Ino.
"Are you wanting to fight?" asked the White Cat.
"Ino, Jacks, stop now before a teacher comes and takes you in for detention," said Maggie as she got between the two of them.
"That's one change to this school made by my dad that I hate," said Ino with a sigh.
"Saw him on the news the other day, it looks like he's doing good," said Jacks.
"Being a politician is not easy, especially when you're doing everything to unite West and Touwa which some people still don't want to have happen," said Ino.
"Neither is a bank manager, my dad has been having a lot of trouble too," said Jacks. The two then noticed Maggie staring at them with her arms crossed before.
"Of course being queen is harder," said the two.
"Good to see that we're all on the same page," said Maggie while grabbing Ino's hand and heading off to class.
