It was the middle of a cloudy day as students were getting their things from their lockers for class, Hang with friends, or even go outside to enjoy themselves. Well not everyone as a teensat down on the grass with their back against the tree trying to read as the popular kids were gossiping and laughing until one spotted her. "What is that freak even reading?" a blonde girl said to her twin sister. She wore blue blouse with ripples, black shorts that showed her slender legs, and had her dirty blonde hair in a tight pony tail showing her round face that painted with a bit too much make up. Her sister had her hair down that reached her collar bone and her outfit was the same thing but her top was pink and had skinny jeans. "Must be looking for a spell to make us hideous like her." said other girl as jock wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "If she does then she be ending up like her parents. You hear me Demetria the Disaster." said the jock and yelled loud enough for the girl to hear. All the popular kids laughed and high fived him then a thunder boomed making them scream and rained heavily as they ran inside while saying,'Jinx is going to get it.' The girl sighed closing her book putting it in her jacket and casually walked without caring about getting her clothes wet and saw a boy against the lockers waiting. "You didn't have to wait for me Josh." said the girl walking past him and opened her locker that's next to him. "Demetria. When i said i got you. I never break it. So Beth and Bertha talked to you again." said Joshcrossing his arms.

"No, they wanted me to be their tutor." said Demetria sarcastically. Josh sighed shaking his head handing her a towel from his bag. Demetria smiled and dabbed her hair until it was slightly dried and brushed out the knots with her fair skinned fingers. Closing her locker after grabbing her backpack the bell rang for fifth class. "Lets get going before i Jinx things up again like usual." said Demetria walking away until Josh pulled her back. "Stop saying that. Your not the cause of every single bad thing that happens like last month when Tom got shocked by plugging his phone charger in gym and was knocked out. That's was caused by the broken thermal in his backpack." said Josh looking at Demetria's mismatched eyes. "But i was the only one close to him when it happend and Bertha beat me up in the girls locker room after everyone left." said Demetria. "Besides the point bad stuff happens in a weird coincidence. Someday things will turn around. You'll see." said Josh swinging his arm around her shoulder and walked to their last class. Demetria took her seat in the back with Josh as a man in his mid twenties wearing a navy blue dressed shirt with a black tie, black pants and fancy shoes. "Take your notes out as we watch a video of documentary of Anne Frank."said the teacher. "Mr. Kekes can We move to the front." Said Demetra as everyone started complaining. "Quite or that's ten after class. Of course Demetria." Said Mr. Kekes sitting in his desk chair grading some papers from his other class. Josh and Demetria went to the front lying down on their stomach with their notes. As Demetria was scribbling down the facts about the videos she found interesting and important that might be on the test then felt Josh poke by his pencil. She turned and he pushed his notebook towards her a little seeing a message.

J: 'Want to hang after school?'

D: 'Sure, but where tho?'

J: 'well I was thinking about ghost hunting at the forest not far from your house.'

D: 'Why not? Just have stop by at Gran's place.'

J: 'Sweet. I got the ghost box and camera.'

D: 'Alright and bring the masks.'

They smiled and continued writing the notes for the rest of the class period. Loud thunder Boom. Cracking. Breaking. Crash. Car Alarm goes off. Everyone looked out the window and saw that a tree branch fell on a red camaro with the front window smashed and the hood slightly dented. Josh got up and looked through the crowd seeing the damage. He sat back down smiling. "That was Tom's car wasnt it." said Demetria looking at Josh in worry. "Yeah but at least it didn't blow up." siad Josh making her cheer up. "Good. However my day might be worse when he looks for me with his friends." siad Demetria quietly as Kekes told the class to get back to their seats. "I got you. Whatever he did this time he had it coming." said Josh. "Thank god. We get to go home after this." said Demetria. Just as she was about to finish her notes at the corner of her eye Bertha give her a evil look and held a hard cover book ready to throw it then the thunder crack was heard and everything went pitch dark. "OW! Ms. Rach detention." said Mr. Kekes. "What did I do? It was the freak." siad Bertha. "I have eyes like a hawk. And because of your behavior with Demetria the whole class except her and Mr. Nelson will stay here when class is over. Starting Bell goes off.Now." said Mr. Kekes. The classmates booed and threw paper at Bertha as Josh and Demetria and Josh left the classroom.
*Hours later*
Josh got his things for tonight waiting outside Demetria's front porch. The door opened by a woman with slightly grey hair in a pixie style hair cut wearing a violet sweater and leggings. "Hello Josh. Demetria, will be down in a minute. So you two are off into the woods then huh?" said the woman. "Of course Nani. So how have you been lately?" said Josh looking at her. "Fine just been feeling a bit off but just focus on that ghost hunt of yours." said Nani playfully pushed Josh by the arm. "I just want Demetria to have fun and not worry abut what everyone has been saying to her." said Josh looking at the full moon. "It's not her fault. She can control it in a 'special' way.' But it'll come to her sooner or later." said Ms. Nani looking at the stars smiling. Hearing the door open they turned to see Demetria walking towards them with her hands in her pocket. "Ready to go." said Josh holding up the case with the ghost equipment inside. "Yeah and we'll be careful Gran." said Demetria pecking her cheek. "Alright." said Nani hugging Demetria. "Let me know if you two found anything." She said.
"Cool lets go." Said josh as they followed the path to the woods. Demetria grabbed the second camera from him and started recording. "Ok me and Josh are walking in the Blue moon woods to see any ghost activity." Said Demetria as josh pulled out the EVP. "Hey Dem. I'm going to do live EVP while you can do the same near the hill." Said Josh. "Alright good luck." Said Demetria walking to the right path leading to the small cemetery. Demetria walked around for awhile moving the camera to see anything out of the ordinary. looking at the scene before her was amazing as the leaves were flowing with the wind, the clouds showing little light from the bright full moon, and the way the stars are showing. What really stood out the most was the two bright stars showing from the clouds that was spliting apart vertically making Demetria smile. Putting the camera up to the sky showing both the sky and the cemetary capturing the beauty in the darkness. "I dont know if anyone can understand this but whenever you see new stars that you havent notice could be the spirits who went to the light of god? People just say that is a hot rock lightyears away from us. I always loved being out in a night like this thinking about what or who am i going to be like in my life. I never knew my family members only my grandmother and everyone at school either bully or fear me cause of the bad luck happening around me." said Demetria then turned the camera onto herself showing the trees and a faint lighting from her house in the distance. "I guess the world is filled with mysteries." she said and shut the camera off.
