Why did you write a fanfic with this theme? And why this couple?

I wanted to write something horror-themed for Halloween, but I couldn't think of what to write. I started playing Dead by Daylight not long ago, and to my surprise, the shipping community in the game is quite active. Well, if you compare it to the Genshin community or something like that, it's very few, but it's not that the shipping part of the fandom is dead, so I decided to write about Meg and Dwight, who seem to be one of the more prominent ships in the community.

By the way, the game is terrible. I do not recommend it at all. Is very unbalanced

What was the hardest part to write?

I would say nothing regarding the characters; what has always been difficult for me as a writer is not repeating the names of the characters. I struggle with that a lot, but I feel that if I don't indicate who is speaking in the dialogues, it's not clear who is talking. I promise to improve on that.

It might have also been hard to write the romance since I didn't find very good moments to do so, but I think they turned out cute at least. I hope to hear your comments about it.

What was the easiest part to write?

The sequence of the fanfic was very simple; I basically tried to simulate a game of Dead by Daylight and used this resource to generate tension.

Practically everything is based on the game Dead by Daylight. Dwight knowing how to repair generators is based on his perks, just like Meg with her speed.

What will the next fanfic be?

Now I'm tempted to write again about Genshin, especially because I really liked the Archon of Natlan, and she could be a good pairing for Aether. But that fic will come once I finish the Natlan story. Other than that, I don't have any more ideas, so I might not write anything in November. However, as always, I'm open to suggestions.
