The ketchcrash is finished, the meaningless violence towards this Eliskni, who not so differently than the ones that live with us at the last city.

The last one to leave, I see skirmish just at the edge of my peripheral vision. A Captain crawls away from me to a pile of string.

I run to it, it's legs offered no movement as the Eliskni blood crashes out of her, I aim my True Prophecy at her temples.

She looked up at me, I knew those eyes, I saw them before...This time I don't pull the trigger but cast a Well of Radiance instead.

If mercy is something she plays on, let it be. Even if we see each other on the battlefield. I am glad to give her the choice.

She slams my skull against the ketch's wall, taking a light life of mine. When I come back, she wastes another by flinging me on the floor.

Her frustration is spent on my light lifes. "WHY DON'T YOU FIGHT BACK?!" she shouts in pure anger, slamming her upper arms down so much she brakes the chitin that protects them, I heal them with a healing grenade.

"I won't fight you, not now..." I say giving her the strings she crawled for, "..., Egg cloth... From smashed eggs." I say to her.

She looks at the strings with sadness in her eyes, " we used to be great weavers... before the whirlwind, now we thin our numbers with betrayal and cloth the bodies with our unborn..." she says.

I let her contemplate the string as I call out my ship. She looks at me. "My crew is slaughtered...maybe the old ways are dead, but I can't align myself with Misraaks-kell. I've hear stories about guardians taking Eliskni as booty..." she says looking at me.

Under my helmet I smirk, "Mercy doesn't really fit a guardian does it?" I ask her. "You wish to leave me dead here, to rot? Or do you wish to get something many Eliskni tried to get but fail to..." she says.

Any info out of her might be important, so I accept her on board. She prances and throttles around, both me and my ghost look at her dumbfounded.

"I am going to call my superiors to put them up to speed..." I said as she started dancing around at the bridge of the ship.

I go to my private quarters and ping Mithrax with info about her, her weight and physiology.

Once we landed Eido sat waiting for us, "My father wants to see you both" she says.

Vralik sighed while looking at me, "why did you tell them we were coming?" she whispers, "it's protocol otherwise they would shoot you on sight specially with what you are wearing".

The Eliskni Quarters... Mithrax looks at Vralik up and down. It was obvious she was uncomfortable as she hugged my arm. "Misraaks..." she whispers, "after all this year's you stand here alive?" Mithrax says.

"Interesting" Eido says, "you know each other?" I ask. "Eido's mother..." Mithrax says.

"wait, mom?" Eido asks, "My past clouded my judgement...and I assumed her... Dead..." Mithrax says.

"Assumed? You left me on an empty vessel with no resources, beaten to a pulp... I was glad Eramis found worth in what was left" she says with anger.

"Regrets of the past...I put behind me, to help my people" Mithrax says. "Your people? Ugh... You used me for a breeder as I was to weak to fight back, malnourished by your design, weaver of your crew as you deemed my eggs unworthy of your bloodline..." Vralik says in pure unfiltered anger.

"Vralik, please..." Mithrax says grabbing the lower arms of Vralik. She starts punching Mithrax violently, clawing at anything just to damage him. I push Eido away and try to separate Vralik and Mithrax, it costs me many light lifes.

Vralik stands in a prison of stasis against the inner wall my ships bay. Her head the only thing unfrozen. I shout at Mithrax and Eido to leave as me and Vralik return to orbit.

I get dishonourly discharged from the Vanguard and banned from the tower and Last City, word is that Mithrax reported Vralik violently attacking him unprovoked and that I joined in as a shade binder to kill him and Eido and take over the city.

Ikora sets a Bounty for my ghost and me, dead or alive, Eido "didn't make it" from our altercation with a broken neck.

Patriarchy wins again...
