Histoire was in the Basilicom, as she was facing the audience.

"Hello, I am Histoire, the oracle of Planeptune City, and all of Gamindustri. As you know, this is the first week of Episode 9, and today marks the final chapter of this story. However, the good news is that the story will resume in exactly three days." She held three fingers and said, "And unlike The Gang In-Action's Final Episode, which lasted 10 chapters, this one will last 13 chapters (As previously mentioned, last week). Sadly, these chapters will continue past the weekend, as Miz-K does not publish fanfics mostly on weekends. We humbly apologize to everyone who is reading this, and you will be patient. This will be the finale, falling on a Friday, and we return on Monday, continuing where we left off."

She added, as she waved, "By the way, I'm not in this chapter, except for this part. Thank you, and enjoy today's chapter."

At the base, The Gang was shaken over the booming announcement from Chase Craver – The Goddesses have arrived.

Steven growled, "Dammit! This is unwise! Those girls are in danger!"

Farra barked, "Aw, don't be so picky. These girls are the flat girls."

Cassandra said, "Except for the fact that Neptune and Nepgear can be busty when transforming."

"So?" Farra huffed, "Just make them flatsies, and foil his plan!"

Asahi responded, "True, but you forget… There's still–. Hm? Hey, does Blanc ever transform with huge breasts?" The others do not know.

"No, she doesn't." Peter arrived and has Elly on a leash.

"PETER!/BIG GUY!" They cheered, as Peter reunited with the others. He said, "Blanc can transform, sadly, her breasts are still small."

Steven nodded, "Well, there you go." He replied, "Why do you have Elly?"

Peter said, "It's a long story…"

The guards arrived, as they aimed at them. One guard shouted, "FREEZE! You are captured!"

Farra sighed, "This again? Doesn't he ever learn?" Asahi growled, "There's too many of them now… like before. We have no choice."

Peter smirked, as he whispered to Elly. He let go of the leash and said, "Sic 'em, girl!"

Elly roared, as the guards shot at her. But Elly was unaffected by the gunshots. Being she's a werewolf, only silver can kill her. She lashed at the horde of guards, as many of them were brutalized, while few of them were running away.

Farra was cheering on, "WHOOOOOOO! KILL THEM ALL, WOLFY!"

He said, "And you can thank Euphoria for that."

Asahi gasped, "Euphoria?!" He said, "The bitch injected herself with Euphoria, and she became this monstrosity!"

Cassandra whispered, "No way… And she's a robot, too?" Peter said, "I don't know… A hybrid of a wolf and android, it makes no sense."

Asahi said, "I, uh… think we better go, before she gets our scent."

Farra groaned, "Aww…" Cassandra said, "It's best we go. No telling how many guards he has."

Steven nodded, "Right. Gang, Stealth Mode!" They switched to Stealth Mode, coated in a purple aura. They crept off, as Elly Fuma continued to go on a rampage on Chase's guards.

As they were sneaking off, Asahi told Peter what happened, including what Chase did.

"Why was I always the last to know?" Peter complained.

Steven said, "Because you were too busy in Lowee…" Cassandra added, "And you fought that Werewolf. Incidentally, how did you tame it?"

Peter grumbled, "I don't wanna talk about it…" Farra grinned, "Oh, no? Why do I see wolf slobber on your collar?" He seethed, "Stow it, Blondie!" She jeered, "Mizuki's gonna flip, when she hears you had sex with–!" He latched her neck and roared, "WE DID NOT HAVE SEX! SHE'S THE ENEMY!"

Asahi barked, "Enough, you two! Peter, I believe you. But I don't get why she was horny for you…"

He replied, "Euphoria does wonders, Asa. She went horny on me, just as she was about to finish me off. And to think, she's a hybrid of wolf, android, and human. That's how my theory went. So, I tamed the bitch, and decided to use her against Chase's army. I had no idea he was the Master. But I wanted to coax intel on her. Sadly, I couldn't."

"Well, we all knew." Farra said. "The others are lost somewhere. I bet they all knew, too."

Kim appeared and said, "OH! There you are. I must've taken that left turn."

"Kim? Where were you?" Asahi said.

Kim said, "Bad news… You knew Chase Craver, right?" She added, "And you figured out he's the master, right?"

They nodded, as Kim explained, "That's the worst of it. When he revealed himself, he captured Mundy, Mizuki, Jason, and myself. Mizuki was taken by him, while I escaped, hoping to free the others."

Asahi asked, "Where's C-Sha?"

"We were too late…" Kim sniffled, "C-Sha was captured, and Chase turned her into–. Gtch!" She sobbed, as she was crying.

Cassandra hugged her and whispered, "There, there… It's okay."

Asahi asked, "Any idea what Chase's plans were? He did say something about a paradise or a utopia."

Kim told them everything about Chase's plans. They gasped, and Kim growled, "He used us, just to capture the goddesses of Gamindustri. He already has Vert & Noire… and even C-Sha and S-Sha. But there's more." She signaled to them, "Come with me."

She went into the wall, heading into her Ghost Room. Asahi said, "We should…"

Cassandra shivered, "What the–? How did she…"

Steven and Peter stepped in, and Peter said, "Hm? A vortex?" Steven added, "Portal."

Farra huffed, "Whatever. Let's hurry, before more guards ruin our concentration."

They stepped into Kim's Ghost Room, so Kim can tell them everything.

Back in New York, returning from Chicago, Miki was in the World Agency offices, as she was contemplating over her failures. Miki was upset, but she got the message. She and Ran Kuzuryu must meet, one-on-one, or else.

Mercury said, "Wish we knew what or else was…"

Emerald said, giving her a cup of coffee, "Here. This is all I can do here."

Miki sighed, "Thanks." She took a sip and said, "Well, we can wait. She said Watch the News. I wonder what she meant."

Mercury said, "For that matter, what channel?"

Miki asked, "What about the BattleVan? We left it in Detroit, did we?"

Emerald smiled, "Don't worry. I know a guy that built a van back to new. We can only wait now… except, The Gang will kill us, if we told them their tour van was demolished. And by a rogue psychotic gynoid, too…"

Miki sighed, and she said to them, "Emerald… Mercury… Thank you for the assist, but until we learn something new of Ran Kuzuryu's bloodshed, we can only wait. Once we learn of her dirty tricks, we head to Washington DC, and we settle things, permanently. But this is my battle. You two would only be in the way. We're doing this for Neo, after all."

Emerald asked, "Yeah, where exactly is Neo? Strike Force tried locating her, but she vanished."

"You don't think she… She's dead?"

"I don't think so. When I saw Neo fly off, her aura imploded. If she took a nasty blow without it, she'd die. An old saying in Remnant – Those who perish will return to dust."

Miki sighed in sadness, "I see…"

She was upset, and then she sniffled, "I can't do this. She's stronger than ever. But of all powers, a Maiden… a Remnant Maiden… And you said she was a 5th Maiden."

Emerald said, "No, you're wrong. There are Four Maidens in Remnant – Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. Cinder is the Autumn Maiden, and there were two others. Winter Schnee, Weiss's sister, she's the Winter Maiden. And Yang's Mom, Raven Branwen, she's the Spring Maiden. We have no idea who the Summer Maiden is."

Miki asked, "Yeah? Are they all-powerful?"

Emerald said, "Oh, yes. We had a run-in with the Fall Maiden, and Cinder took it. During The Fall of Beacon, Cinder got to the Vault of Beacon and stole the powers of the Fall Maiden. In turn, she killed Pyrrha Nikos, but was thwarted by Ruby Rose and Silver Eyes. Mercury and I were there… We, uh, somehow rigged an event."

Mercury said, "Yeah. I fought Yang and I lost, but when I tried to blindside her, Yang shot at me in self-defense. General Ironwood saw through the fake video, which showed Yang showing poor sportsmanship. End result, we BOTH got disqualified. But that was all part of the plan. She shot me in the legs, but I feigned injury. Didn't even hurt."

Miki growled, "That's cold…"

Emerald said, "Of course, this was long before we learned the truth. I moved on, and so did he."

"Not me. I'm only in for the ride. I'm Salem, through and through, but if anyone wants to hurt my friends, even Neo, then I draw the line on Salem. You fled, because you had enough. I walked out, because I hated Tyrian."

"Well, that makes sense."

"Yeah… Not to mention the frustration I had, when we sparred, back then. I have a Semblance now… yet it was that same power my Father stole. And I killed him, just to get it back."

"How did it happen?" Miki asked.

Mercury sighed, "I don't wanna talk about it…" Emerald said, "I do. You were frustrated and angry, and you lashed at me, as you went hard. Until Tyrian intervened, and we calmed down."

"I remembered well."

"Not how I remembered…"

In Salem's hideout, Emerald and Mercury were sparring, until Mercury mouthed off at her.

Emerald said to him, "Why did you come with us, the night Cinder and I found you?"

Mercury asked, "Why are you asking-?"

"Just answer the question."

"Just made sense."

"It made sense?"

Mercury explained, "All my life, my father trained me to be a killer, an assassin like him. And then moments after I killed him, you two showed up looking for someone with my exact skills. Just felt like it was meant to be."

She cried, "That's it?"

He asked, "Hey, what's your problem?"

"I mean, there has to be something you want from this, right?"

"Salem's promised us everything. We win this thing for her, we'll be top dogs in her new world. What more do you want?"

"I just... *sighs*Cinder was the only family I ever had. She cared about me, taught me things... But without her here, I don't know if what we're doing–"

Mercury hissed, "Wake up, already…"

Emerald looks at him in shock, upon hearing this. Mercury barked, "Cinder doesn't care about you! She doesn't care about either of us!"

"You don't know what you're talking about!" She pleaded.

"You're in denial. And if you're gonna start having a crisis of identity or some crap... keep me out of it."

At this, Emerald angrily jumps forward and starts to attack Mercury with punches and kicks, but he dodges them. He caught her wrist, and then boomed, "I'm sorry you didn't have a Mommy that loved you, but I had a father who hated me!"

Mercury shoves Emerald back a bit. She takes a defensive stance, as he slowly approaches her.

"He never went easy on me! Every day of training was a beating. And when I unlocked my Semblance, he stole it with his!" He landed a punch and a kick at Emerald, who dodges them, while he quotes his father's words.

"This makes you weak!"
He told me I could have it back when I was strong. So I got strong, but I never got it back! I've had to work harder than anyone to get where I am. You may not like it here without Cinder, but I think I'm right where I'm supposed to be!"

Emerald was hurt over it. Miki said, "And this was long before you two reformed."

Mercury said, "I only wanted to be me… After what Cinder did, and what she wants… After what happened in Beacon, in Atlas, in Vale… I was right. Cinder never cared about either of us… OR Neo!"

"I didn't know…" Miki whispered.

Emerald said, "So, after we came to this so-called Moji Mikisa, or this New World, I settled down in a bar, while Mercury became a lone wolf. And we never felt better now. We were assassins for Cinder, but now we work for Mundy. And why? Because we understand everything in our past. Cinder Fall is a criminal… and we're glad she's behind bars. Now, if only Neo can get over her grief for Torchwick."

"May think she's reformed, but she's still grieving over Roman. She even prayed that she wants him back, and she used her Semblance to create a clone. Weird, I know…"

"Yeah, it's almost like she evolved. But still…"

Miki nodded and said, "I'm leaving… I'm going to Casa de Munecas. You wanna come with?"

Mercury said, "Sorry, can't. Em and I are heading to the bar."

Emerald said, "Give us a call when Ran shows up."

"Right. I will." Miki said, "And I'm sorry again about Neo."

Mercury smiled, "Hey… You gotta start somewhere. We need Neo for this, you know."

They all left the offices, as Miki thought, "Neo… Where did she disappear to?"

Ran was hovering over the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. She saw a rural town near the city. Ran grinned, "It's showtime…" Her Maiden aura boomed and flew down to Santa Fe, creating havoc and chaos in the city.

"Now, Miki Naoki, you will understand my true power…" Ran cackled.

But where was Neo?

Somewhere, in a small city in Louisiana, two thugs were leaving to a small forest, after a successful robbery. They were dressed in black, and with pistols. One of the masked men walked out and said, "I'm going to find a spot for our car. The police will never find us here."

He went to the edge of the forest, and saw a figure in the middle of the huge empty space. It was Neo!

Neo growled, seething in anger. She suddenly transformed into Ran Kuzuryu, and then switched into Miki Naoki. She changed back to normal, and she turned to the masked robber. He grinned, as he went closer to her.

"Well, well… Are you lost? You're a weird looking babe. You came out from Mardi Gras?"

Neo was confused, but she was angry. She brushed herself off and held her umbrella.

"Hey, what's the getup? You know Halloween's passed. So, why don't you come with me?"

He held his gun up, and fired at Neo. Neo deflected it, and she seethed. Her aura pulsated, and it shot down onto the ground.

"Hey, what's the gag? Who are you?"

Neo's Semblance started to pulsate. A second Neo appeared and she was armed with an umbrella. After that, a third Neo appeared.

"Wha? Who are you?" The thug fired at Neo, but the Neos walked towards him, and then deflected the bullets. He cried in fear, and the Neos brutally assaulted him.

The second thug was sorting the money, as he said, "Is that you, Barney?"

The thug returned, and he said, "I'm right here, Bart. Hey, can you loan me some of that loot?"

"Are you nuts? We're keeping this warm for the next haul! Why do you–? Ask?"

He gulped, as the thug had Neo's eyes. Neo smirked, as the clone said, "Oh, we need to go to New York… and I want… ALL OF IT!"

The thug was beaten down by the clone, and Neo was overjoyed. She grinned, knowing she not only defeated two criminals, but her Semblance evolved, as well. It was time to go en route back to New York.

Hours later, the two thugs were taken away by the Louisiana Police, as Neo escaped via a motorboat, through the bayou. She was dressed in a male disguise, of an old swamp man in brown rags. He spoke, "Now to get back to New York, and maybe help Naoki with our Faux Maiden problem." Neo was in the back seat, resting. Neo can never talk ever, but her clones can, but only if she recognizes the voice and appearance of the person she sees.

Miki was lying in bed, as she was watching TV. She sniffled, "I hope Neo returns. We need all the help we can. But I can't call Team RWBY."

She was reading her book, while the TV was on. But then, she heard a news bulletin.

"BREAKING NEWS! Police are after a notorious female fiend, with a bizarre superpower. She has brutalized and terrorized the town of Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her scourge continues, as police reported that she's flying through Reno, Nevada… Phoenix Arizona… Cheyenne, Wyoming… Boulder, Colorado… and other cities in the Western Part of the United States."

Emerald and Mercury were working the bar, as everyone who was sitting saw the news.

"Reports show that the woman was of a busty appearance, long blonde hair, a green and white ninja costume, and what appears to be a fiery aura emanating from within her body and eyes. She even bellowed the name of a person she wants… Naoki."

Emerald gasped, "OH, NO…"

"We'll keep you updated as this evil woman has already sailed through the USA, and–!" The newsroom suddenly was shaking. Ran appeared from the studio, and she said, "Excuse me, is this the News Studio from Los Angeles, California?"

The newscaster sobbed, "Y-Y-Yes! Who are you? The viewers like to know who you–!"
SNAP!
She killed the reporter, snapping his neck.

Ran hovered over to the camera and said, "Attention! Miki Naoki… You have 7 days to your doom… Meet me in Washington DC, and we will settle things, once and for all."

Mercury gasped, "Ran!" Emerald seethed, "That monster…"

Ran explained, "As you might have guessed, I've already returned to Los Angeles. And I have spread the message… Watch the News. You see, I'm simply Oka Kazamatsuri's right-hand ninja. The maker of Euphoria – the same drug that toxicized your country, only for your heroes to end it – and I'm her strongest ninja of Real Ninja, which has long disbanded.
Oh, where are my manners? My name is Ran Kuzuryu. Bear this name in mind, because it'll be the last name you will ever hear. And I bear a warning to my rival, Miki Naoki…"

Ran explained, "When I said you have seven days to your doom, I meant it. You only have one week to respond, as does the rest of your country. Because if you think Euphoria will rock the entire country, think of what I will do when I eliminate your country… right off the map. Miki Naoki, of World Agency, the so-called Green Agency that was approved by the World Government, as the rest of your third-party branches dissolved… I challenge you one-on-one. Think of it… as a way to say that I will have my revenge. This woman destroyed me within an inch of my own life. But I am still standing. Here's how we meet… We meet at the Nation's Capital, I don't care where exactly, and we fight, alone… If anyone tries to interfere, I will destroy your country, and all of the US in it… and maybe the World.
And you have heard the reports, since I did it in just six hours, I can assure you that I'm much stronger than I was. The entire West Coast is already bowing to me, and I haven't even arrived in Seattle or Portland. My reign of terror was already recognized in Chicago and Detroit… and New York… and soon, your precious Capital will befall to my wrath! But Miki, my dear hero… Only YOU can stop me. Meet me in DC, in seven days, and we will discuss your demise. After all, YOU were the one that did this to me!"

Miki snarled, as she watched on, "You son of a…"

Ran chuckled, "Oh, one more thing… To prove I'm not wrong, look at this report on the LA Freeway… There's going to be a huge delay in the northwest area." She held her hand up and said, "Because… I did that…" Her aura boomed, and with a snap of her fingers, the freeway was raining down colored stones onto the streets, destroying every car and vehicle, and nearly killing every citizen in the way.

Ran concluded, "What's it going to be? Sacrifice your life, or your beloved home? Remember! Seven days! Or your precious country goes bye-bye. And soon enough, your world.
I await you, Miki Naoki… and like I said, come alone. Because you're not bringing any help… that is, if you wish to see this world become ruin." She cackled, and then flew off, leaving Los Angeles.

The people in Emerald's bar were shaken, as Mercury & Emerald were angry. She growled, "She wouldn't…"

Mercury said, "She's as worse as Salem, or Tyrian."

"We have to warn Miki." She called out, "Everyone, it's alright. I'm certain that World Agency will save the day. We can trust in Miki Naoki."

Mercury groaned, "Yeah… We can trust in her, only… All we want is a miracle. Ran Kuzuryu's a psycho… and hopefully, Miki needs all the help she can."

At Kentucky, Neo saw the news, and she was furious. She was in a disguise, as a woman in a red dress. She barked, "Well, this is her next move…" The real Neo was in another disguise, a man in a blue suit and a mustache. Seems that Neo's Semblance is getting stronger, every step of the way.

The next morning, Miki met with Mercury & Emerald.

"So, Ran wants me, after all… and if I take you with me, she'll destroy the world." Miki sobbed.

Mercury said, "I'm sorry. But is there anything WE can do?"

Miki said, "If Neo returns, you have to warn Team RWBY. For two things: ONE: To evacuate Washington. And TWO: To not interfere with my battle. This is between me and her, after all. And I won't break that promise, even if I risk losing this world."

Emerald said, "But… … …you'll lose. Ran Kuzuryu's got Cinder's powers. Well, actually, similar to the Maidens. You're in a suicide mission!"

She got a phone call. Miki answered it, "Hello? World Agency. Yes, this is Miki Naoki." She gasped, "WHAT? … … … Y-Yes, Mr. President. I understand. I'll tell them. Goodbye."

She said to them, "Guys, we might lose, after all. That was the President of Earth. If Ran Kuzuryu comes here, then they're going to launch a tactical nuke onto her area! They shouldn't!"

Emerald was shaken, "You have to call it off! The nuke, I mean! Tell them that this is your fight!"

"But I won't make it!" Miki cried, "I've already beaten her, but against someone like her? Krystle Giese and Neo almost died back there, because of her! And I know for a fact… if I lose, we lose everything! Ran Kuzuryu's from The Secret Society… and she won't stop, until she ends the world. Oka Kazamatsuri almost doomed this world, as did Ritsu Tainaka! And others… But I can't fight her… She's… She's that of a God!"

Miki wept and sniffled, as Mercury said, "No… You're not licked yet. You have to win this. Hell, no one has beaten a Maiden… not from what I recall. Cinder, Winter, Raven, they all have the powers, but Ran Kuzuryu's a carbon copy. Team RWBY faced them, yet they failed. God knows that we still have a prayer."

Miki nodded, "You're right… I'm sorry. But… What can we do?"

Emerald said, "We're leaving, just two days before Ran arrives. We have to stop them from launching the nuke."

Miki agreed, and then she responded, "Right… But Team RWBY… We have to tell them, first. Remember, The Secret Society is against Weiss Schnee for running for Earth President."

Mercury said, "That we can do. Until then, we wait for Neo."

Emerald said, "I hope she can be found, before we head to DC."

At Gamindustri, Rom, Ram, B-Sha, and Uni were in a spot, neat the base. Uni was still out cold, as the twins and B-Sha were tending to the injured Goddess Candidate. A couple guards marched in, as they were preoccupied. They aimed, as the twins prepared to fight.

"B-SHA! PROTECT UNI!"
"Yeah! Let's fight them!"

They used their magic to stop them, but they were overmatched. B-Sha pleaded, "STOP! What do you want with Uni?"

One guard said, "You girls are coming with me. The Master wants to see you… as does Uni. She's our property."

B-Sha cried, "You stay away from her!"

She fought back, but the horde of guards were able to defeat her. B-Sha, Rom, Ram, & Uni were taken away. Chase Craver's all the Goddesses (except for Neptune, Nepgear, Blanc, & K-Sha) in his grip.

Meanwhile, Marin Kitagawa was perched above, viewing the action. She spoke, "Chase Craver… the master of calamity. So, his veil is unleashed. His utopia is only a facade. I know that, because he wants paradise for himself. I'm powerless to help, but to only aid you further… I will bring forth calamity and chaos to those that defy you." She held her hand out and said, "Obla-dee, Obla-dah… No one escapes your fate, ladies."

She zipped off, heading towards the guards, in their path.

"HEY! Get out of the way–!"
"Fools."

POW! BAM! SOCK! THUD!
In a swift fashion, she easily knocked out the guards that kidnapped the girls. She stood over the fallen guards and spoke, "That would be too cruel. You men are only growing more chaos, for all of you. If you want to work for your master, you'll have to do better. I'm not you… but I understand your chaos. No one can act like you can be the hero… let alone someone can control calamity. You did your job, foolish men… … …but if you capture them all immediately, you'll only make things worse off, as it has been."

A few guards came to, as they saw her stand tall. They all aimed at her, armed with rifles, and she glared, "Go back to where you came from. You don't need to work for a monster like him. What's it going to be? Shoot me, or risk it?"

She held up one of the fallen guards and smirked. One guard yelled, "Stay back, or we'll shoot! Give us the girls, and we will spare you!" The injured guard cried, "D-Don't… Don't hurt her… … … She's not… even hu… human…"

Marin smirked, "No. I'm not. I am me…"

The guards surrounded her, and she glared, "We're doing this the hard way, aren't we? I did warn you. You fire one shot, and you will regret this day." She said to the guard she was holding, "What did you say about me, huh? I'm a monster? I'm not human? Well, you're absolutely wrong."

SNAP!
She killed him, snapping his neck, and the guards were frightened by her presence. "You're all discharged. Leave this place… unless you want the same fate that befalls you. Step inside your base, and learn that your demise is imminent. This is your only chance to live."

The guards dropped their weapons, and ran away. They ran off screaming, returning to Lastation, where they belonged. Marin sighed and said, "That's better…"

She placed spare OB Chips (chips she found on the ground that the guards dropped) onto them and said, "You're welcome." She responded, "Rom! Ram! B-Sha! Uni! Activate."

Then she vanished, as Rom and Ram suddenly woke up. They spoke, "Yes, master…"

B-Sha also stood up and said, "Master."

Uni got up and spoke, "Master."

Marin said, as she saw the brainwashed minions, "Go forth… Take down everyone you can. Bring calamity to Gamindustri. Only fate will decide how it ends. The Gang, The Goddesses, they all want the same thing… but no one can escape from calamity."

She watched over the base from a distance and said, "Tell me, Chase Craver… Is this your utopia? A world where the busty girls in bikinis lavish you like the pimp you are? Or is this the utopia they feared? A world owned by one psychotic person, all for gain. It all ends up with the answer – Pain. The pain of heartache and despair… the pain of witnessing your vision come to life, or fall to pieces."

Marin waited and concluded, "Perhaps, whoever wins this final showdown… … … will lead to even more calamity to come, depending on who it is. All I can do now… is watch. And see."
