Chapter 3: First problems with the law
Izuku quickly positioned himself between Katsuki's group and the crying boy. He was shaking in his knees, but he tried his best to not show fear.
"What the fuck are you doing, Deku?" Bakugo was irritated. "This is none of your business!"
"I agree." Kira mumbled. "You shouldn't try to pick fights."
"Don't let him boss you around!" DIO argued.
"Kacchan, you can't go around and hurt people!"
"Why the hell not?" The blond kid yelled.
"You just can't, trust me." Green head tried to say calmly.
"You are not my mom, Deku! If you don't stay out of my way, I will remove you myself!"
Midoriya was trembling. He knew from experience that his friend could be violent when aggravated, especially since his quirk let him burn his opponents. Thankfully, Izuku's current quirk was decent, so he was going to stand his ground.
"I will not let you hurt that kid!"
"Fine! Brace yourself, Deku!" Kacchan shouted as he ran towards his opponent.
"Die, you stupid…"
Before he could finish the sentence, The World swiftly punched him in the head, sending Bakugo flying in the opposite direction.
"No way! He is crazy! We need to get out of here!" Katsuki's minions screamed as they ran away.
Izuku was shocked. He didn't expect the fight to end so quickly. His first thought was to turn around and reassure the crying child, but he was already gone. He then ran towards Bakugo to see how bad the damage was. Kacchan's head was bleeding and he was unconscious.
"Kid, we need to run too." Kira tried to plead. "You will be in a lot of trouble if you get caught."
"No way!" Izuku cried. "It's my fault! I need to call an ambulance!"
"There is no need. It's already on the way." A woman's voice reassured him.
The child turned around and saw a Pro Hero in a provocative suit skin colored suit and a red domino mask. For a moment, he stopped thinking about his injured friend. He could only think about trying to hide embarrassment.
"Those hands are simply gorgeous." Kira was pleased.
"Not just the hands. She is a total bombshell!" DIO was just as happy to look at her. "I bet her blood tastes divine."
Annoyed by his guests' commentary, Midoriya tried to look down on the ground.
"Where are my manners?" The woman giggled. "I am the Pro Hero Midnight. What is your name, little one?"
"It's Izuku Midoriya. And I… I know who you are."
"Really?" The heroine did not expect to hear this from a 5 year old, given her reputation.
"Yes, from the news. I heard how you forced the government to make regulations on hero suits. I am a fan"
"Oh, right. I guess that would be common knowledge. Still, I'm glad to have more fans." Midnight patted Izuku on his head. "Now, I need you walk with me to a nearest police station."
"Damn it!" Kira got mad. "I told you to not interfere, kid."
"Will… will you put me behind bars?!" Izuku began crying again.
"No, Izuku, not if you are honest with me." Pro Hero smiled. "Can you tell me this boy's name?" She pointed at Bakugo.
"Kacch, I mean Katsuki Bakugo. He is my friend."
Ambulance arrived and took away the unconscious body. Izuku walked with Midnight to the police station. He thought he was mentally prepared for what was about to happen, but he was wrong. He did not expect his mother and Bakugo's parents to arrive. They all have concerned expressions on their faces.
"Hello, Mr and Mrs Bakugo. Is Kacchan all right?" Izuku asked sheepishly.
"He'll be fine." Mitsuki answered. "He just needs to rest for a few weeks."
"I am so sorry!"
"Listen, Izuku." Midnight began talking. "You need tell us what happened. Be honest, please."
"Ok. I went to the park to show Kacchan my quirk, but then when I came there, he was confronting a crying kid. I don't know happened between them, but I knew Kacchan could be violent at times." Izuku stared at his friend's parents.
"Please, continue."
"I had to stop him. I tried to talk him down, but he didn't listen. He ran at me with his quirk active. I had no choice but to defend myself."
"Was hitting him so hard necessary, though?" Mitsuki intervened. "I know boys like to settle things with fists, but you could have pulled your punches."
"I am sorry, ma'am. I always thought Kacchan was stronger than me, so I give it my all."
"Of course you did." Bakugo's mother face palmed. "Well, just be more careful next time, Izuku. My son must have really scared you. By the way, what's with your skin? Are you ill?"
"No." Inko responded. "We think it's a side effect of his quirk."
"I'm glad it's nothing serious." She sighed in relief.
"And I'm glad that we achieved an understanding." Midnight looked at the boy. "You seem like a good kid to me. I think that someday you will become a great hero."
"Thank you very much" His smile was a ray of sunshine. "Before I forgot, could you please give me an autograph?" The child pulled a note book from under his shirt.
"You should ask her number instead." DIO laughed.
"Anything for a fan of mine!"
Since it was the first time Izuku got in trouble for using his quirk, and because he was backed by a heroine, the kid got away with just a verbal warning. After returning back home, he immediately fell asleep. This day was an emotional roller coaster, and he had so many questions towards his guests. Midoriya was hoping to not get anyone new, as he couldn't even get used to the vampire, but fate had other ideas. The new person in his mind space wore an expensive looking black suit with a crimson neck tie. His hair was pink with black spots everywhere. Everyone could see a mix of curiosity and fear in his eyes.
"Welcome, my friend!" DIO said sarcastically. "Make yourself at home, because it is you new home."
"Wait!" The new guy sounded surprised. "You are NOT going to kill me?"
