Afloat Determination Impressive the Explosive Fighter
"Go, Ochaco! Show Katsuki who's the one that can float to the top!" Ruby cheered for Ochaco.
"I'm not sure if she'll be able to win this fight." Weiss said, concerned for the girl.
And then, Present Mic announced the fight of the match.
"Let the eighth match begin!" Present Mic shouted.
In that very moment, Ochaco sprinted forward while keeping her head low and her hands held out a little to the front knowing what she has to do.
"Giving up isn't an option for me! Like I said, I want to fight at my best and you better do that same!" Ochaco shouted at Katsuki who heard all of that.
"Wow, look at her go! That's a good start, and maybe she could still find a way to use her Quirk on Kacchan!" Izuku believed.
"Maybe, but it won't be easy. You know Bakugo's not gonna let her get too close to him." Tenya pointed out.
"But something tells me that Katsuki won't dodge, will he?" Yang asked Izuku.
"Yes, Kacchan has never been the type to dodge when he believes that attacker won't be a threat to him. He'll focus his energy on counterattacking." Izuku explained.
"Let just hope that brute doesn't end up killing her or he can kiss his future as a hero goodbye." Weiss said with a slight glare.
"And now you die." Katsuki said, but not literally die just to bruise her enough to make pink cheek girl not able to fight anymore.
During the run, Ochaco recall her combat training with Deku and that talk he had with Katsuki.
(Flashback)
"Kacchan."
Izuku with his green hero costume though the left half side of his mask was destroyed by Katsuki's sudden attack, Katsuki goes in to attack Izuku again only for the former to grab his arm and slams him down to the ground.
"You always use a big right hook to start a fight."
Past Ochaco was amazed by that feat of a counterattack.
(Flashback End)
Katsuki leans his right arm back, getting ready to counterattack.
"(There!)" Ochaco thought saw the right arm.
Katsuki leans his body forward with his right arm up a little as he gets ready to unleash his Explosion Quirk.
"(Here it comes!)" Ochaco thought readied herself.
"(If I can dodge this move…)" Ochaco thought hoped to really dodge this attack to get in closer.
However, Katsuki moves faster than Ochaco predicted, and his exploding attack landed hard on the girl that sends her back. Seeing causes some in the audience seats to flinch from that.
"He blasted her!" Minoru groaned.
"Oh shit, that's gotta hurt in the morning." Yang felt bad for Ochaco.
"Oh, looks like Bakugo is not planning on showing her any mercy." Tsuyu worried.
"Maybe so, but the guy knows better than to hurt her too badly since this is still a competition." Yang said. Hating to admit this, but Katsuki does kind of remind her of herself in a way since they both have things with anger.
"Stupid. Saw it coming and I still couldn't get out of the way." Ochaco cursed herself.
"You shoulda dropped outta the match." Katsuki said.
Katsuki can't see the round cheek girl with all this smoke created by his explosions in the way, but he does have sharp instincts to alert him like that Ochaco is trying to attack him a little behind on the left.
"There's way you can beat me!" Katsuki yelled as he attacks for an explosive capture to slam Ochaco onto the ground.
But when the smoke clears up, it is revealed that the only thing that is pin down onto the ground is Ochaco's jacket and that made Katsuki gasp that he has been tricked.
Ochaco jump right behind Katsuki as she moved to his blind spot.
"Whoa! She flew her jacket over as a decoy! What incredibly quick thinking!" Present Mic amazed.
"Nice! She can move in with how close she is!" Ruby smiled excitedly.
"I wouldn't be so sure." Yang said.
"(This is my chance; I can make him float!)" Ochaco thought reached out for his back.
However, Katsuki has proven once again that he is greater by reacting faster than Ochaco could move towards him as he threw an explosion back throw knocking her away again.
"Look at that reaction time!" Hanta was shocked.
"Seriously, the dude's insane! You can't get the drop on him. And since Uraraka can't use her Quirk unless she touches him, his lightning-fast reflexes put her at a huge disadvantage." Denki felt scared of Katsuki a little more.
"Maybe so but try looking at Ocahco face and you tell me that she's in pain." Blake said, seeing the determined look on Ochaco's face.
"Too slow!" Katsuki shouted and threw one uppercut explosion at Ochaco who once again tries to charge at him.
Katsuki stood on his spot waiting to see if that girl is done for yet, but Ochaco doesn't give up that easily as she jumps out of the smoke.
"I got you!" Ochaco tried to launch her hand at Katsuki.
But like before, Katsuki reacted faster and blasted her away from her not allowing her to use her Zero Gravity Quirk on him.
"This is starting to look painful to watch." Ruby gulped.
"Is she okay?" Tsuyu worried for her friend.
"I can't watch this." Kyoka covered her eyes with her hands.
"Like I always suspected, Bakugo's a total sadist." Minoru stated with a serious look.
"(Is everyone seriously not seeing what Ochaco is trying to do here?)" Weiss thought looked at some of her fellow students.
"(I guess sometimes when you're focus on the ground, you forget to look up at the sky to see there are things up there too.)" Weiss thought looked up seeing Ochaco's plan.
"It's not over yet!" Ochaco refused to give up.
She tries going at Katsuki again and again, but Katsuki keeps on blasting her away again and again. Ocahco can feel her body is screaming in pain from this and yet, she just keeps getting back up to try getting Katsuki as much as she can.
"Looks like she's not resting between attacks, despite being exploded. The poor girl." Present Mic said, looking sad.
"Come on, Ochaco! You get the drop on the bastard! I know you can!" Yang shouted in cheer.
Ochaco charges at Katsuki again in another attempt to try getting him to float and hopefully to push him away from the ring, but Katsuki counterattacks with his big explosion again.
"Her feint earlier didn't work, so now she's getting desperate." One hero with a green transparent mask worried for that girl.
"Idiots. Look closer." Neito snickered, noticing how everyone is not seeing the bigger picture here.
"Hey, shouldn't one of the teachers step in?" One hero called out to Cementoss, thinking this fight is going a little too fear and could be worse.
"This is too rough." Another hero worried.
Ocahco is panting with how insane Katsuki's reaction time that he is able to counter her approach every time, and every time she tries to get close to him, he unleashes his attacks that hurt like Hell.
"(Not yet… I'm not even close to done! I still have a chance!)" Ochaco thought charged in again, only to be met with an explosion in the face.
"This is shameful." One hero with a yellow cape and a headpiece that has the letters J and A in red felt too angry to keep himself quiet anymore.
"Listen, kid, you really wanna be a hero? Then stop acting like a bully." The JA-yellow cape hero called out to Katsuki.
"If you're so good, just send her out of bounds." The JA-yellow cape hero scolded.
But Katsuki doesn't listen to the hero, he's not even acknowledged the heroes who are giving him disapproval looks when the only thing he is focusing on is the fight itself and his opponent who is refusing to give up this fight.
"Stop toying with the girl and end this match!" The JA-yellow cape hero demanded while giving Katsuki two thumbs down.
"Yeah, you heard the guy!" The pink-poodle costumed heroine agreed, then some of the crowd started booing at Katsuki.
"Hey, those heroes do know that they're setting a bad example, right?" Blake asked Momo.
"Huh, they are? But you saw how Bakugo has been doing to Uraraka! How could you say that the heroes are in the wrong here?" Momo asked in shock.
"I think our teacher is about to give that answer." Blake said.
"The crowd is now booing Bakugo!" Present Mic shocked.
"And honestly, I kinda agree with what they're sayin—" But Aizawa suddenly strikes him with his good elbow. "Hey, whoa—What the crap?"
"Where is the man who started this uproar? Are you a pro?" Aizawa asked in the mic.
"Because if you're being serious, you can go home and hang up your cape. I'd suggest looking into another career." Aizawa said in a disapproval tone of the heroes' behavior right now.
"You know what he's talking about?" Izuku was confused.
"Sheesh, you said that you knew Katsuki since childhood, but now you don't know what he is thinking right now. Silly." Yang chuckled, this only made Izuku feel more confused than before.
"Bakugo's fierceness is an acknowledgement of his opponent's strength. He knows she deserves to have made it this far, so he's making sure he does whatever it takes to keep her at bay and come out on top," Aizawa stated.
Katsuki looks on, seeing Ochaco getting back up again.
"(We're not finished. She's still standing. She's not dead yet!)" Katsuki thought felt surprised and impressed with this girl's endurance of determination.
"(Is that what he thinks of Ochaco? I guess anyone can express their own form of compliments, but why did his have to be painful?)" Ruby thought wondered.
Ochaco pants hard after being blown away by Katsuki's exploding power again from a moment ago though she isn't giving, she looks at her opponent with strong determination in her eyes.
"I think it's time." Ochaco said.
Hearing that made Katsuki gasp and ready himself for whatever this chick is planning on doing.
"Thank you, Bakugo… for keeping your eyes focused on me!" Ochaco thanked and readied herself to press her fingers together to deactivate her Quirk.
"What?" Katsuki was confused on why this girl is thanking him all of a sudden.
"I don't blame Bakugo for not noticing, but it's embarrassing for a pro to boo and not realize what's going on from the stands." Neito said, begins to explain what Ochaco has been doing this entire time to her classmates.
"She kept low to the ground as she moved, which meant Bakugo's blasts tore up the floor of the ring, creating weapons for her. And then she kept him focused on her by attacking relentlessly without rest." Neito looked up at the sky, making his classmates look up as well.
"Rendering him oblivious." Neito smirked.
"What the what?! When did she do that?" Ruby gasped as she saw that debris of rocks in the sky.
"Were you not paying attention? Honestly, how are you still the leader of our team is a mystery to me." Weiss wondered.
"Ochaco lured Katsuki into using his Explosion Quirk to make something that would leave him in a pretty tight spot." Blake explained.
"And now, she's to make it rain on him. Literally!" Yang smirked.
Ochaco screams knowing this is her final move deactivates her Quirk and the debris came falling down like a rain made of stone, one could say it's a meteor shower.
"A meteor shower!" Present Mic gasped.
"Now you notice." Aizawa deadpanned at Present Mic for not noticing this sooner.
"Hey, she had a plan all along!" Izuku was shocked.
"Now she got herself a big window of opportunity to get him!" Ruby cheered.
"Ribbit, ribbit, I had no idea Ochaco was this clever!" Tsuyu smiled for her friend.
"(With this much debris, whether he's evading or counterattacking, there will definitely be an opening! In that moment, I'll finally get close to him!)" Ochaco thought believed this plan will work.
Katsuki raises one hand up to face the falling debris while Ochaco used her Quirk on herself to make her body lighter to run a little faster.
"(This is it, my shot! I'll win and be just like Deku!)" Ochaco thought held out her right hand reaching for Katsuki.
Katsuki unleashed one large and very powerful explosion that causes a shockwave for everyone in the arena to feel and destroy the entire meteor shower attack, all in one blow which also causes Ochaco to be blown away as well.
"Talk about blowing away the competition!" Yang punned.
"Are you serious right now?" Kyoka yelled at Yang for that awful pun.
"I always knew Kacchan was louder than a boom box, but this is more booming than I thought!" Izuku gasped with a pun as well.
"You too?!" Kyoka was shocked to hear that Izuku just did a pun.
Ochaco groans and gets back up to see Katsuki still standing strong.
"I figured you'd have some sort of stupid plan to beat me. You are friends with that damn nerd, after all." Katsuki said.
"…It took him one shot." Ochaco exclaimed in shock with her body shaking a little.
"Bakugo bangs out a huge demonstration of power! He blasted apart Uraraka's finishing move and remains untouched!" Present Mic announced shock.
"I figured Katsuki would try destroying Ochaco's meteor shower attack, but to think he would use this much force to destroy it completely." Weiss was surprised as well.
"That was close." Katsuki muttered to himself while his hands are shaking a little.
"(I put everything I could into that, but I wasn't good enough.)" Ochaco thought felt almost broken from that.
"(Oh man…)" Izuku thought worried, but he becomes surprised to see that Ochaco is getting back up again.
"(I can still stand though.)" Ochaco thought felt her spirit is still going.
"All right then." Katsuki smirked.
"Time to get serious. Uraraka!" Katsuki declared, ready to fight the round cheek girl again as he charges at her.
"(If Deku were in the ring, he wouldn't give up yet!)" Ochaco thought turned around, ready to face Katsuki until she could beat him.
However, her body gave out from the pure exhaustion and reached her limit as she fell over onto the ground causing Katsuki to stop his charge to see if the girl is done for.
"Uraraka is down!" Present Mic gasped.
"Her body couldn't keep going anymore. It's over for her." Blake said, closing her eyes.
"(No… Come on. Get up. I want to keep going.)" Ochaco thought struggled to move.
"It's too much." Tenya said.
"Yeah, she's way past her limit." Izuku noticed.
"But even now, her fighting spirit is still going on." Yang recognized that kind of stubbornness. She can even see that Katsuki recognizes this too and ready himself in a stance.
"I can do this. I can still fight. I can…" Ochaco proclaimed as she still has a promise to keep for her parents, her reason for wanting to become a hero.
(Flashback)
"When I grow up all big and strong, I'll help you and Mommy out any way that I can." Little Ochaco promised and her dad stroke her head.
"I appreciate you wanting to help us, Ochaco. But, as your father, I'd be happier if you achieved your own dreams. That'd make us perfectly happy!" Ochaco's Dad said trustfully.
"And, well, if you do make money, just take us on a vacation." Ochaco's Dad suggested as well.
(Flashback End)
"I'll… become a hero!" Ochaco determined, until her eyes went dark upon the lids closing.
Midnight moves to check on Ochaco while Katsuki waits to see if the match is really over, the female heroine see that the girl is really unconscious.
"Daddy…" Ochaco said with her eyes looking almost blank as she faded into unconscious.
"Ochaco Uraraka is KO'd. Katsuki Bakugo advances to the second round!" Midnight announced and the crowd cheers loudly.
Midnight also called in two robots to put Ochaco on a stretcher and ordering them to take Ochaco to Recovery Girl, hoping she's not too out of it.
Katsuki stares at the unconscious girl being sent away to the hero school nurse to get treated. He didn't really think much of that girl like his other classmates, but that girl really does have strength in her more ways than one, even though she was totally getting trashed by him, she still kept going just like how Deku would do if he were in this fight instead of her.
Katsuki leaves the stage to let Cementoss fix it with his Quirk.
"And that's it for the first round." Present Mic said.
"I was really pullin' for her. Oh yeah, I guess Bakugo is moving on." Present Mic sighed, felt really sad for Ochaco.
"You're supposed to be unbiased, you know." Aizawa reminded his fellow staff member.
"Let's try to forget that depressing outcome!" Present Mic sounded like his usual self again.
"Or not." Aizawa deadpanned.
"With that, the first round is complete! We're taking a quick break and then we're back with more matches!" Present Mic informed, getting the crowd excited again.
"Now I feel like I wanna fight even harder!" Yang said as she looks at her fist.

Ochaco's fight was very intense, especially when she was up against Katsuki Bakugo and yet, she still kept on fighting until the very end even though she lost. But I think she may have inspired a few people to fight harder in their own fights and they are going to do it with Plus Ultra!
