It was another day, at least, so it seemed, in Las Noches.
At that moment, Harribel had summoned Naruto and her fracción to the throne room, where they all were at the moment.
"So why did you send us here, Harribel?" asked Naruto.
That made the three girls look at him with hatred and death for speaking casually to their leader.
"I brought you here for two reasons. The first is that I have news on the subject of taking you back to your world, Naruto." said Harribel, surprising her fracción, as she was calling him informally as well.
"Really? What did you find out?" asked Naruto.
"Unfortunately, nothing." said Harribel.
"Huh?" asked Naruto in confusion.
"You see, one of the techniques of the arrancar is to be able to open a garganta, a portal to travel between dimensions. I tried to open one that would connect to your world based on the chakra you say the inhabitants of your world possess, but alas, I found nothing." said Harribel.
"You didn't have to do it alone. Don't you have some research equipment or something?" asked Naruto.
"We did, but the one in charge of all that was Szayelaporro Granz, the 8th espada, who died in his fight against the shinigamis." said Harribel.
"So there's really no way I can return to my world?" asked Naruto beginning to believe that he would never return home to his friends.
"I didn't say that. After realizing that I couldn't find a way, I came up with a solution on the side." said Harribel.
"Which one?" asked Naruto.
"The Soul Society." said Harribel.
"Wait, what? Isn't that the place where the shinigamis meet?" asked Naruto.
"That's right. One of their division captains is in charge of the scientific and research division. If there's anyone who can help you, it's him." said Harribel based on the data Aizen provided at the time.
"Great! Thank you very much! So what's the other reason you called us?" asked Naruto.
"Simple. I want you to face off against each other. Specifically, you against them." said Harribel.
If there were crickets in Hueco Mundo, one would be chirping now to fill the silence that formed in the room as Naruto and the three girls stood in shock at that.
"WHAT?!" asked all four of them at the same.
"A-Are you serious, Lady Harribel?" asked Apacci.
"Do you really want us to fight together…?" asked Mila Rose.
"Against him?" asked Sung-Sun pointing at the ninja.
"That's right, I'd like to be able to see more of Naruto's abilities. Besides, it might be a way for you to get stronger." said Harribel.
"But… isn't it a little unfair that it's just me against the three of them?" asked Naruto.
"If you could fight Grimmjow and hold your own even without using your full potential, I think you'll be able to take on the three of them." said Harribel.
In the next instant, the three girls looked at the jinchuriki with a mixture of excitement and cruelty, making him quite nervous.
"Oh, mother. They'll probably want revenge for the other day." thought Naruto.
"Good luck. Believe me, you're going to need it." said Kurama.
Soon after, Harribel and her fracción were guiding Naruto to a more suitable ground for their fight.
"Kurama, any advice?" asked Naruto mentally.
"They're clearly not as strong as Grimmjow, the 6th espada, but you have to keep in mind that it's three against you. Not to mention, if they're the fracción of the 3rd espada, it means they're strong." said Kurama.
"And the advice is…" began Naruto hoping for some help.
"Again, good luck." said Kurama.
"What a lot of help!" exclaimed Naruto.
"Here we are." said Harribel, pulling the ninja out of his thoughts.
It was then that he saw in front of them an exit and as soon as they crossed it, Naruto was completely shocked.
They were on a balcony overlooking a huge desert, but unlike the Hueco Mundo desert he had seen so far, it had some scattered buildings and structures and, most shockingly, a completely clear and bright blue sky, as if it was broad daylight.
"What the hell…?! What is this place?!" asked Naruto standing on the edge of the balcony to look at the area.
"This is the central dome of Las Noches." said Harribel.
"Are we still in Las Noches? But it's daytime!" said Naruto pointing to the daytime sky.
"It's a dome effect, you idiot!" said Apacci.
"Dome?" asked Naruto.
"She must mean the dome we saw from outside. I'm surprised too that there's such a place inside the palace." said Kurama.
"How come it's like that?" asked Naruto.
"It's Aizen's doing. By taking over Las Noches, he surely wanted to have at least one place where he could enjoy the daylight even if it was fake." said Mila Rose.
"Although we really don't know what he really wanted it for, even though he set two specific rules." said Sung-Sun.
"What rules?" asked Naruto.
"The first was that no espada could use Gran Rey Cero inside and the second was that the first four espada couldn't use their resurrección inside this place because of the display of power." said Harribel.
"Resurrección?" asked Naruto confused.
"Oh, right. They never told you that. You see, both we and the shinigami have special swords called zanpakuto. In the case of the shinigami, their zanpakuto harbor a spirit of their own and when they activate the shikai of the zanpakuto, they unleash great power, an even greater one when they unlock their bankai, the most powerful form of a zanpakuto." said Harribel.
"And you all have those abilities?" asked Naruto.
"No. We, the arrancar, have, instead, resurrección. Our zanpakuto harbor some of our original power and when we release it, it not only increases our power, but restores us to our old form." said Harribel.
Naruto was a little surprised to hear that.
When he faced Grimmjow, he didn't imagine that he only had a part of his power and now it turns out that the arrancar have their power sealed and that, if the situation becomes complicated for them, they release their true power, becoming stronger.
He began to think what would have happened if Grimmjow had unleashed his full power in the fight and also, how much power both Harribel and her fracción would have, as he was going to face them.
"So, this will be where we fight?" asked Naruto looking at the huge desert below.
"That's right. Since neither of them is an espada, it is the proper ground for your combat. The rules are simple. Any attack can do as long as it's not too deadly." began Harribel before looking at her fracción. "Which means you won't use Ayon under any circumstances."
"Understood." all three said at the same time.
"Something tells me I don't want to know what that is." thought Naruto.
Later, Naruto and the three girls found themselves in the middle of the desert, far away from the balcony where Harribel was standing as a spectator.
A part of Naruto was still nervous due to the fact that he would be fighting three arrancar who served the queen of Hueco Mundo, but another part of him was remaining serious, for he could neither hesitate nor back down in a fight like that.
He hadn't before, nor was he going to now.
"You better get ready, human." said Apacci with a toothy grin as she grabbed her bracelets that turned into chakrams with three blades.
"No way we'll treat you right." said Mila Rose with a smile of her own pulling out a broadsword that she held in both her hands.
"We'll make you pay for everything you've done since you've arrived." said Sung-Sun pulling a three-pronged sai from her left sleeve.
"Oh yeah? Well, if you want to fight so badly, then, I'll give you a fight you won't forget." said Naruto with a toothy grin as he slapped his palm with his fist.
"Oh, such confidence. How naive." said Sung-Sun.
"If you think we'll be like Grimmjow, you're wrong." said Mila Rose.
"Throughout Hueco Mundo, we are known as the Tres Bestias and you will soon find out why." said Apacci.
"In that case, you will also find out…" began Naruto before dashing straight towards them. "That I'm not easy to beat!" said Naruto before gesturing with his fingers. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" shouted Naruto creating around him, with bursts of smoke, several clones of himself.
"HA. You think we didn't know that trick?" asked Apacci with a smile.
"I guessed so, but you don't know this one." began Naruto before he and his clones made a hand gesture, which caused everyone to be covered in a smokescreen.
The Tres Bestias prepared to punch whatever was going to come out of the smoke, but then…
"Reverse Harem Jutsu!" shouted Naruto as he and his clones emerged from the smoke, all turned into beautiful, naked men.
This caused the girls to be completely shocked, as they didn't expect such a thing.
They stared at it with their eyes wide open until…
"KYAA!" shouted all three of them at the same time while their faces were reddened and blood shot out of their nostrils.
The next instant, Naruto and two copies of him came out from among the pretty boys and punched each of them in the face, sending them flying backwards.
Meanwhile, Harribel, who was watching the whole thing, couldn't help but blush at what the jinchuriki did.
"What a… peculiar… technique. Though I admit it's very effective in confusing the enemy." said Harribel.
"Hahaha. It never fails. It's so effective that even a goddess fell for it." said Naruto with a smile remembering when he used that same jutsu in the fight against Kaguya Otsutsuki.
Soon after, the Tres Bestias stood up with slight growl.
"Damn you. How dare you cheat us like that?" asked Apacci slightly blushing.
"I thought you were going to fight fairly before, but I see you only know how to play dirty." said Sung-Sun.
"Now you've really pissed us off." said Mila Rose.
"Oh, come on. I'm a ninja. Using techniques like that is common for us. If you have a problem, complain to someone else." said Naruto.
That only made Apacci growl even more in frustration.
"Damn you!" exclaimed Apacci charging at the tip of his horn a sphere of red energy which she then shot out like a beam.
Fortunately, Naruto was able to dodge it quickly.
The next instant, Sung-Sun used sonido to stand next to him and try to hit him with her sai, but Naruto managed to dodge it by the skin of his teeth.
He tried to give her a kick, but she quickly dodged it with sonido.
Soon after, Mila Rose lunged towards him with her sword held high for the kill.
Naruto quickly pulled out a kunai, which fortunately, he had on him the whole time, and used it to block the sword, though the force put on it caused a small crater to form on the ground as he did his best not to kneel and give in to the force of the arrancar.
It was then that he noticed Mila Rose's smile, but it wasn't because it looked like she was going to win, it was because of something else.
His response came when…
"Pulsera Cuerno!" shouted Apacci throwing his chakrams like frisbees, straight towards Naruto, who was more focused on blocking the sword.
Faced with the dire situation, Naruto managed to muster enough strength to push Mila Rose away just in time to jump backwards, avoiding the chakrams that continued to fly back into Apacci's hands.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" shouted Naruto creating, through smoke explosions, multiple clones to then charge all towards the Tres Bestias.
Apacci started shooting balas from her fists quickly eliminating several clones, but others quickly caught up to her, so she stopped shooting to start using sonido and eliminating clones quickly with her chakrams.
Mila Rose stayed in place, using her sword to annihilate any clone that came near her.
Sung-Sun used sonido to move quickly and dodge each clone attack and then eliminate them with her sai.
Before long, all the clones were wiped out, leaving a smokescreen in the process that, when it dissipated, no one else was to be seen.
"Where did he go?" asked Mila Rose looking around.
"He's probably retired, the cowardly bastard." said Apacci.
"Don't talk nonsense. I don't think he's the type to run away in the middle of a fight." said Sung-Sun.
Suddenly, Naruto and two clones of him came out from under the sand, right under the noses of the Tres Bestias.
"Did he hide under the sand?" asked the three at the same time.
Before they could react, Naruto and his clones managed to hit them with an uppercut that sent them flying backwards, though they landed on their feet.
"Again with those dirty tricks. It's over! I plan to kill him!" said Apacci.
"No! Remember what Lady Harribel said! No deadly attacks! So don't be a reckless fool!" said Mila Rose.
"What did you call me? It's not like you're accomplishing anything either! You're only good for getting beaten up, like when we fought those shinigamis!" said Apacci remembering the fight against Rangiku, the vice-captain of the 10th division, and Momo, the vice-captain of the 5th division.
"I beg your pardon? You were there and you also received the same amount of beatings as I did! Even more, since you are nothing but brainless!" said Mila Rose.
"Who are you calling 'brainless', brainless?" asked Apacci.
"You're both equally brainless." said Sung-Sun.
"You stay out of it, Sung-Sun!" the two shouted in unison.
It was then that they noticed several shadows on the ground and looked up to see Naruto and several clones falling towards them.
The Tres Bestias had to jump backwards to avoid being hit by all those clones, causing them to hit the ground, generating a smokescreen in the process.
When it dissipated, only Naruto came into view.
"Let me give you a piece of advice. In combat, you shouldn't focus your hatred and attention on your own teammates, but on the enemy and only the enemy. United, you can win, but divided, you may fall." said Naruto.
In fact, that very moment reminded him of the test Kakashi gave them when Team 7 was formed.
None of them wanted to work as a team and that caused him to knock them down one by one until he won.
If he had decided to work together from the beginning despite the conditions and rules of the test, they would have passed from the first moment.
Those words made the Tres Bestias' eyes widen as they understood the situation.
They began to remember when they fought against those vice-captains and at first, they had trouble fighting them because of their own arguments, but then they fought together, even though they reached a point where they had to use their secret weapon, only for that weapon and them to be defeated by the captain-commander.
"I never thought I'd say this, but he's right." said Apacci.
"Yes, how could we serve Lady Harribel if we are off-center when the situation doesn't call for it?" asked Mila Rose.
"You can save your childish bickering for later. Right now, we should focus on him." said Sung-Sun.
After that, the Tres Bestias prepared to fight.
"Why did you help them? You could have taken advantage of their internal discussions to defeat them." said Kurama.
"Well, Harribel said that this fight would serve to make them better and if I have to lend them a hand, I wouldn't mind." thought Naruto.
"Your kindness is going to get you killed someday." said Kurama.
"Maybe, but I don't think today will be that day." thought Naruto.
"Get ready, human, because this time, we mean business." said Apacci before using sonido to quickly disappear.
Naruto heightened his senses to try to figure out where she would appear, but Apacci suddenly appeared in front of him and tried to cut him with the blades of her chakrams, but Naruto was able to dodge them in time by jumping backwards.
However, Sung-Sun took advantage of that to appear behind him through sonido and give him a kick that knocked him to the ground.
Afterwards, Naruto had to roll to the side to avoid a vertical attack from Mila Rose's sword.
Naruto got up and was about to perform a hand gesture, but then, Apacci threw her chakrams as frisbees at a low height, which made Naruto jump to avoid them, but that was taken advantage of by Mila Rose to hit him in the face with a punch, sending him backwards in the process.
Just as Naruto got up and before he could react, Apacci and Sung-Sun used sonido to move around him at high speed and every time they appeared in one place, they would punch or kick him.
They stood like that for a few seconds until they quickly moved away, allowing Mila Rose to dart towards him and give him a diagonal cut with her sword.
Since they couldn't kill him, she moved the sword close to his body, which would leave a not very deep cut.
However, Naruto disappeared in an explosion of smoke, being replaced by a rock that was split in two by the tearing attack before falling to the ground.
The Tres Bestias turned their gaze to the side to see Naruto breathing heavily for a few seconds before looking back at them with a smile.
"You see? When you work together, you give good results." said Naruto.
"Heh. Despite the beating we're giving you, you're still smiling. You must be the stupidest human I've ever met." said Apacci.
"Yeah, they usually call me that quite a bit." said Naruto with a smile as he rubbed the back of his head.
"You know it wasn't a compliment, right?" asked Sung-Sun.
"Enough of the small talk. We're feeling friendly right now, so either you give up, or we'll keep beating you until you can't even stand up." said Mila Rose pointing her sword at the ninja.
"Sorry, but I don't like giving up in the middle of a fight. I'll fight to the end!" said Naruto with a smile of determination.
"As you wish. Girls…" began Mila Rose.
"Don't let it go to your head about ordering me around." said Apacci before she and Sung-Sun disappeared with sonido.
Apacci appeared next to Naruto and shot a bala at him, but Naruto managed to dodge it by the skin of his teeth.
He then had to jump aside to avoid a sai hit from Sung-Sun.
Then Mila Rose quickly came to slash him with her sword, but Naruto leaned back to avoid it, but the sword ended up cutting off a few strands of his hair.
Naruto set about throwing punches and kicks, but they quickly dodged them before launching their own attacks, which Naruto managed to quickly dodge.
Due to it being three against one and the speed at which two of them were moving, Naruto was having a hard time and ended up taking a couple of hits.
Soon after, the Tres Bestias moved away and stood in front of him.
It was then that Apacci created a red energy sphere on the tip of her horn, Mila Rose created another dark orange energy sphere in her left hand and Sung-Sun created a dark pink energy sphere in her left hand.
"Cero!" shouted the three of them at the same time as they shot those energy spheres (with Mila Rose from a punch from her right hand) in the form of energy beams that merged into one huge one.
Naruto was so shocked by that that he couldn't stop the beam from hitting him directly, generating an explosion in the process.
By the time the smoke cleared, Naruto was seen lying on the ground and groaning.
"Ugh. For a moment, I thought he wouldn't tell." said Naruto.
However, before he went to get up, the Tres Bestias stood over him.
Apacci stepped on one arm to restrain him, Mila Rose stepped on the other to restrain him, and Sung-Sun stepped on his chest to keep him from moving.
"You should be thankful we held back on that cero." said Apacci.
"Yes. If we hadn't, you wouldn't even be breathing," said Mila Rose.
"You have no more tricks left to use." said Sung-Sun.
"You think so? Tell me one thing. Did you eliminate all the clones?" asked Naruto.
"Of course I did, I don't sense any of them anywhere near here." said Apacci.
"Well of course not, but… What if they weren't around?" asked Naruto with a toothy grin.
"What?" asked the Tres Bestias.
Half a distance from where they stood, atop a huge pillar, was a clone of Naruto in a lotus position, meditating quietly, as if one with nature.
Suddenly, the clone disappeared in an explosion of smoke.
"Good." began Naruto ducking his head to shade his gaze. "Now it's my turn."
It was then that Naruto raised his arms quickly, forcing Apacci and Mila Rose to back away and then Sung-Sun also had to back away to avoid some attack when she saw that the ninja had broken free.
When Naruto stood up and turned his gaze towards them, they saw that his eyes were different, as he had a yellow iris with a toad pupil, as well as orange pigmentation around the eyes.
"What the hell happened?" asked Apacci in surprise.
"I don't understand. How could his power have increased?" asked Mila Rose in surprise.
"We definitely didn't count on that." said Sung-Sun.
Harribel also noticed what happened and was surprised by it.
"How strange. I feel like his power has increased, but it's not coming from Kurama. What kind of power is that?" asked Harribel.
"Grrr. I don't care what kind of dirty trick you used. We'll beat you." said Apacci before she started shooting balas.
Naruto began to move quickly back and forth to dodge the balas as he charged towards her specifically.
Apacci prepared to use her chakrams, but Naruto turned out to be faster than her and threw his fist forward.
Quickly, Apacci moved away to dodge the punch, but suddenly, a strange invisible force ended up hitting her, sending her backwards.
"Apacci!" exclaimed Mila Rose.
"I don't understand. It didn't even hit her. How is that possible?" asked Sung-Sun mentally.
Soon after, Naruto appeared in front of the other two with an energy sphere in each hand.
"Rasenrengan!" shouted Naruto impacting both spheres into the two arrancar, which were sent backwards as they spun.
The two bounced a bit along the ground until they came to a stop next to Apacci.
With a slight grunt of pain and effort, they stood up.
Looking up, they were horrified when they saw Naruto, along with several clones, running quickly towards them, but the worst part was that they all had an energy sphere in their hand.
When they were half a distance away, Naruto and the clones jumped towards them.
"Rasen Cho Tarengan!" shouted Naruto before he and his clones impacted the spheres, causing a powerful explosion.
Naruto landed on the ground away from the impact zone, waiting to see the result of his attack.
When the smoke cleared, the Tres Bestias were seen standing up, but breathing heavily due to the damage caused by that attack.
"He… He really has gotten stronger." said Mila Rose.
"He didn't even use that in his fight against Grimmjow." said Sung-Sun.
"Well if he pulls out his hidden weapons, so do we." said Apacci.
"For once, I agree with you." said Mila Rose.
"Me too." said Sung-Sun.
Suddenly, an increase in ambient pressure began to be felt.
"What's going on?" asked Naruto mentally.
"They seem to be increasing their reiryoku. It can only mean one thing." said Kurama sensing what they were going to do.
"Thrust, Cierva!" shouted Apacci.
"Devour, Leona!" shouted Mila Rose.
"Strangle to death, Anaconda!" shouted Sung-Sun.
The next instant, an explosion happened, filling the area with lights and smoke.
Soon after, the smoke dissipated and Naruto couldn't help but stare wide-eyed as he saw that they had undergone a transformation.
Apacci's body, except for the face, hands, feet and neckline, was covered with a brownish-colored fur. She also acquired a small tail and two antlers on her forehead, on either side of the horn of her hollow mask. In addition to that her eyes had turned orange, along with a red line surrounding them and extending down her cheeks in the manner of a tribal painting.
Mila Rose acquired a warrior-like appearance, as her clothing was changed to pieces of bony armor that only covered her neck, breasts and pubis. She also acquired gloves that reached to her elbow and white boots that reached more than halfway up her thighs. Her hair grew into a mane that reached to her feet, and above it was a large tuft of yellow that grew out of the remnants of her hollow mask. In addition, she grew a pair of fangs and an orange X-shaped mark had appeared on her face.
Half of Sung-Sun's body from the waist down had turned into a long white snake tail, thus, being a kind of hybrid. In addition to that change, her hollow mask had grown and now enveloped almost half of her head.
Naruto was shocked to see that.
From what he was told, the zanpakuto of the arrancar harbored both their power and their original appearance and not only was he beholding the true appearance of the Tres Bestias, but he could feel the enormous power the three of them had together.
"Awesome. That resurrección thing is cool. Their power has increased tremendously." thought Naruto.
"And that's just the fracción. I can't imagine the power an espada would have when released." said Kurama.
"Game over, human! It's time to end this!" said Apacci before quickly using sonido.
Naruto quickly turned to the side in time to see Apacci appear beside him and shoot a bala at him, but Naruto quickly dodged it before launching a kick.
Because of what happened earlier, Apacci didn't want to take any chances and ended up using sonido to avoid the attack and what happened next.
Mila Rose was next to attack with her sword raised high, but Naruto dodged it before the arrancar quickly swinging the sword back and forth to hit him.
Naruto was able to move fast enough to dodge each slash, as this wasn't the first time he had faced a swordsman.
When he found his momentum, he threw a punch forward, but Mila Rose blocked the fist with her sword, though she ended up sliding backwards.
It was then that Sung-Sun appeared at Naruto's side through sonido and made two snakes come out of her sleeves in the direction of the ninja, who moved quickly to avoid their bites before lunging towards the arrancar and kicking her backwards.
Suddenly, Apacci appeared above him and came down quickly with her leg outstretched in an axe kick.
Naruto had to put his arms up as a shield to block the kick, but it ended up creating a crater underneath him due to the force of that attack.
With a grunt of effort, Naruto sent the arrancar flying and before she could react, Naruto jumped to be at her height and gave her a kick that she blocked with her arms, but was still sent crashing to the ground.
Before Naruto started to go down, Mila Rose stepped in front of him and swung her sword at him, causing him to be the one to impact the ground.
Just as Naruto got up, a pair of white snakes, courtesy of Sung-Sun, wrapped around him, restricting his movements and then, with a jerk, she sent the ninja flying straight to where Apacci landed and who was already standing.
When she saw the ninja flying towards her, she shot a low powered cero, hitting him directly and sending him backwards.
Naruto scrambled to his feet with a groan of pain and effort.
"Ugh. I don't have much time left. If I want to end this, it'll have to be now." said Naruto.
"Just give up already, human!" said Apacci.
"It's impossible for you to defeat us in this form!" said Mila Rose.
"Don't make us go any further!" said Sung-Sun.
"Sorry, girls, but I have a habit of not giving up despite the power of my opponents" began Naruto before gesturing with his hands. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" shouted Naruto causing several smoke explosions to happen around him to the point of creating a smokescreen that covered everything.
Soon after, thousands of Naruto clones rushed out of the smokescreen toward the Tres Bestias.
"Same trick again? Pathetic." said Apacci before shooting a cero that, by turning her head, caused her to take out several of the clones.
Mila Rose used her sword to take out the clones.
Sung-Sun attacked the clones with her snake tail, as well as the snakes on her sleeves, which bit them hard, making them disappear.
However, due to the amount of clones, as well as Naruto's new state, things turned out to be different from the previous times.
Every time the girls dodged a hit, they suffered a blow from that invisible force; every time they hit a clone, some withstood it while others were eliminated by an explosion of smoke; and every time they received a hit from a clone, they felt it was stronger than normal.
In the end, with much effort on the part of the three of them and after a while, they eliminated all the clones, filling the whole area with smoke.
"Seriously, that trick is really starting to piss me off." said Apacci.
"That new power has really complicated things a bit." said Mila Rose.
"Wait, where's the original?" asked Sung-Sun.
By the time all the smoke cleared, the Tres Bestias finally saw the real Naruto, but he was doing something that left them very surprised.
Above his raised hand was a huge sphere of energy with rapidly spinning antlers.
"Wind Style: Rasen Shuriken!" shouted Naruto throwing the sphere towards them.
The girls were so shocked by it that they didn't have time to react and dodge it, so the sphere hit them directly, pushing them very high into the air and that's when an explosion occurred forming a sphere of air.
The wind produced by the explosion was so strong that it blew the desert sand away, even Harribel could feel the wind caused by the explosion.
Inside the sphere, the Tres Bestias were screaming in pain, as that technique caused thousands of micro thorns to attack them for several seconds faster than the human eye could grasp.
By the time the air sphere disappeared, the girls remained in the air for a few seconds before falling to the ground.
