Vaccine Woman was humming to herself as she watered the garden. She had been so giddy when she and Ki had come up with this idea, and now it was starting to take form.
"I hope the others like these." she said to herself before her smile grew. "Especially Saitama." Her mind then began to wander the bald hero.
"These flowers you've grown are beautiful, but they pale in comparison to you." he said, his features sharp and his eyes gazing into hers.
"Oh, Saitama."
Vaccine Woman held her blushing cheeks and giggled to herself before shaking her head.
"Calm down, Vaccine Woman. Don't forget that it's Ki's garden too. We'll both show Saitama the garden later." she said to herself before she noticed the can was empty. "Oh? Guess I need a reFILL!" she yelped when she suddenly felt herself being yanked into the air. "Hey, what the-" she began to yell before she saw Tatsumaki floating before her. Floating behind her were the Deep Sea Queen, Jet Nice Girl, Tank-Top Girl, Ki, Swim, Raptora and the Beast Queen. "Oh shit!" she cursed before throwing a nervous smile at Tornado. "Any chance we can talk-gaackcak!"
"Zip it!" Tatsumaki ordered, her powers tightening around Vaccine Woman's throat.
"Sto-" Tank-Top Girl began before slapping her mouth shut, making Tornado glare at her.
"There it is again." the psychic said as she floated towards TT Girl. "A hero showing concern for a monster. And these monsters here seem to be worried about you two as well. Why do I keep seeing that?" she asked, making the others all begin to sweat. "I asked you a question!" she snapped as she began to squeeze them all with her powers, making them all grunt or whimper in pain. Still, they wouldn't answer her, which infuriated her. "Don't feel like talking, huh?" she asked before making Raptora float closer to her. "The Hero Association has orders to capture two of you monsters alive. You are not one of them, which means I can simply kill you right now. The only reason I haven't is because I'm actually curious as to what is going on in this Ghost Town. So I'm only going to ask one more time. Why are heroes and monsters getting along?!"
Raptora was silently crying as she felt death crawl up her skin. She knew that if she didn't say anything, Tornado would kill her on the spot. All she had to do was give the Class-S hero what she wanted.
...But...
An image of Saitama smiling at her appeared in her mind.
Her crying eyes gained a hint of defiance as she closed her mouth.
"So you won't talk, huh?" Tornado asked with a bored look before aiming a finger at Raptora. "Have it your w-"
"KOGANEEEE!"
Tatsumaki blinked at the sound of a voice calling out. She turned to see Nori in the distance as she walked through the empty streets before falling to her knees.
"KOGANEEEE!...COME HOMEEEE!...SAITAMA AND THE OTHERS...ARE WORRIED ABOUT YOU!" she yelled before she fell onto her face.
"Saitama?" Tornado muttered smiling at her captives, all of them now looking terrified. "So that bald hero I'm looking for is in on this too, huh?" she said while lifting Nori off the ground and brought her close to them all. "And how many others was she talking ab-"
"What the heck happened to you, Nori?!" Vaccine Woman blurted out. Tornado growled at being interrupted before glaring at Nori. Her eyes went wide at the sight of Nori's huge breasts pushing against the Oppai hoodie she was wearing.
'She's bigger than Fubuki!' Tornado thought before scowling at the wheezing monster.
"Ki's...stupid drink...made my breasts swell up!" Nori panted, her head hung back and her eyes closed from exhaustion. "They're heavy, and they ruined my date with Saitama!"
"DATE?!" the monsters yelled in surprise.
"Yeah...Wait...Why do I...feel like I'm floating?" Nori asked before lifting her head and opening her eyes.
"Well, that's interesting. How about you tell me more?" Tatsumaki asked, her smile returning. Nori's only response...was to foam at the mouth and pass out.
THWACK!
The Subterranean Queen was flying through the air before landing on her back, her four swords landing nearby. She struggled a bit before grabbing her blades and charging at Nichirin, her blades swinging wildly at him. He merely bobbed and weaved around like a blade of grass in the wind, avoid each strike with minimul movement.
WHAM!
The Subterranean Queen's assault stopped after Nichirin swiftly smashed the hilt of his blade into her sternum, knocking the wind out of her and making her fumble before falling over. She had a coughing fit as she laid on the ground while Nichirin stared down at her.
"Your swings are wild and uncoordinated. Nothing at all like you usually handle the blade." he said as he stood above her. "Is something troubling you?"
"It's...nothing!" she grunted as she stood up, blades raised. "Again!" she yelled before charging at him.
BAM!
"Again!"
POW!
"A-Again!"
WHACK!
Every time she'd rise to fight, and every time she was easily swatted aside.
"A...a...gain!" she panted.
"No." Nichirin denied. "You're far too distracted. Continuing would be pointless."
"Master...I must...get stronger!" she declared.
"At the rate you're going, the only thing you'll improve on is how to be my personal whetstone. One that would only dull my blade." he said before he sat down in a seiza pose. "What is it that dulls your blade? What is it that dulls you?"
The Subterranean Queen scowled before sighing and took a seiza pose of her own.
"I'm...troubled, Master Nichirin." she admitted. "I need to get stronger. I can't stay this weak."
"You have barely begun to train under me. Did you expect to master my teachings in such a short amount of time?" Nichirin asked with a light chuckle.
"No. It's just..." Subterranean Queen got out before placing her head in her hands. "I keep seeing my biggest failures coming back to haunt me."
"Your biggest failure?" Nichirin asked. The Subterranean Queen took a deep sigh before looking down at Nichirin since, even while sitting, she was still taller than the man.
"I am the Queen of the Subterraneans. It's a title I earned not just because of my bloodline, but because I am the strongest warrior." she said in pride before looking somber. "But now I feel like I don't deserve that title anymore." She started to tremble as she continued. "The people looked up to me for guidance. To lead them, just as all who have come before me have. Some leader I turned out to be...I couldn't protect them."
Nichirin was silent as he watched the monster before him begin to sniffle, her eyes leaking tears as she kept on talking.
"All of it...my kingdom...my people...gone! In one night!...I wasn't there to defend them! I wasn't strong enough to avenge them! I wasn't strong enough to do anthing!"
She wailed as all her sorrow, rage, pain and guilt flowed from her eyes, her sobs echoing around the area. She cried and cried and cried her eyes out, all while Nichirin silently watched. After twenty minutes, the Subterranean Queen was quiet, the occasional sniffle coming from her.
"Sorry." she said after she got up and wiped her eyes. "I just...couldn't hold that in anymore."
"You have nothing to apologize for. I, too, have cried for the fallen many times in my life." Nichirin said, making her look at him. "Whether to monsters or rival dojos or even to common street thugs, I've lost many friends throughout my life. I've cried for them, but I did not let it hold me back and stop me from living my own life. And neither should you. Do you know why?"
"Why, Master?" she asked.
"Because I still have plenty of reasons to keep on living. Friends and fellow swordsman, and apprentices to pass my teachings along. Like you." Nichirin said with a smile, making the Subterranean Queen's eyes widen in surprise. "Take a moment and ask yourself, 'What do I still have?' When you find the answer, we'll train some more." he said before he walked away, leaving her alone to ponder his words.
Zenko was bored as she waited for her brother while he talked with Saitama, Zombiewoman and Genos. Since it was Hero related stuff, she knew to stay out of the way.
"I wonder if any of those other nice monsters are around." she said to herself as she walked away from the door and to a different floor. She heard a woman's voice going 'HA! HA!' from an open door and peeked in.
From inside, she saw Midori, dressed in a martial artist's gi, practicing the stances and forms of a martial art she didn't know.
"How does he make all that blue aura appear when he does it?" Midori asked herself as she looked at her hands, only to notice Zenko peeking into the room.
"Are you a sister of-" Zenko got out before Midori's hair suddenly lashed out, wrapped around her and pulled her in before slamming the door shut.
Metal Bat was sitting across from Saitama inside his apartment, with Zombiewoman sitting next his left and Genos to the right.
"So, what do you want to ask me?" Saitama began.
"First, why is Genos here?" Metal Bat asked.
"I am Master Saitama's top disciple. I live here to study under him." Genos answered.
"A Class-S hero is the disciple of a Class-B hero?" Metal Bat asked. "How'd that happen?"
"Master Saitama's strength far surpasses mine. I am studying under him to learn how to become stronger." Genos answered.
"Oh yeah. That whole thing with the written test putting him in lower ranks." Metal Bat remembered. "Hey, hold on. You said top disciple?"
"Indeed. I am the top disciple of Master Saitama's students." Genos clarified.
"How many disciples you got?" Metal Bat asked Saitama.
"Just two. My other student isn't here. They went home." Saitama answered.
"Still not giving their name?" Zombiewoman asked.
"If they're not here, then no. They don't want others to know unless they say it themselves." said Saitama.
"Okay...Hey, before I forget. I heard this rumor about how this abandoned district is supposed to be home to some horrifying monster." Metal Bat began. "Is that monster any of the-"
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
All four heroes jumped at the sound, with one being in horror.
"ZENKO!" Metal Bat yelled as they all ran out the door. "ZENKO! WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"BIG BRO! HELP!"
"That came from the Kombu room!" Genos stated.
"If anything happens to her, I'm gonna kill all of you!" Metal Bat promised as the four of them ran towards the room that had screams coming out of it.
"Midori!" Saitama yelled as he rushed into the room, the three other heroes behind him.
"HAHAHAAAAA! N-NO! QUIT IT!" Zenko laughed as she was held up in the air by her wrists with Midori's hair, the monster using her real hands to tickle her sides.
"Tell me who you are! Who else is here?!" Midori demanded in a playful tone as she mercilessly tickled the little girl as she flailed and kicked her legs.
"B-BIG BROTHER! MAKE HER STOP!" Zenko begged through her laughter.
"HEY!" Metal Bat yelled, startling Midori. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY LITTLE SISTER?!"
"Your sister?" Midori asked before she recognized him. "You're the Class-S hero, Metal Bat!"
"YEAH! NOW LET MY SISTER GO!" Metal Bat demanded as he pointed his weapon at her.
"Alright, alright!" Midori yelped before she released a giggling Zenko, who walked over to Metal Bat.
"You okay?" Metal Bat asked his sister in worry.
"I'm fine. All she did was tickle me." Zenko answered.
"Why were you tickling her?" Saitama asked.
"She kept asking me questions without answering mine." Midori answered before grinning and wiggling her fingers. "So I was trying to get the answers out of her."
A ding! went off, making everyone look towards the oven in the room.
"Oh good! The cookies are done!" Midori exclaimed as she walked towards it.
"You were not dismissed. You are being questioned-"
"Shut it, you oversized tin can!" Midori snapped with a glare. "You send Kogane running for her life, now you wanna tell me what to do?! Piss off!"
"Who do you think you-"
"Alright. That's enough." Saitama said with a raised hand while Midori put on some oven mitts and got the cookies out of the oven. "So, what happened?"
"I kept asking Zenko there why she was here, but she wanted to know if I was Nori's sister. Neither of us gave an answer, so I was trying to get mine first." Midori explained as she put the cookies on a cooling rack.
"Those smell good." Saitama complimented.
"Thanks. I'd offer one, but these are for Kogane when she gets back. Helps her relax." Midori apologized. "If you wait a little, I'll whip some up for all of you."
"You would dare deny Master Saitama a cookie after all he's done for you?!" Genos growled, his eyes glowing with power.
"Saitama's not the one going through a trauma induced panic attack, which you caused!" Midori countered.
"I was cleaning Master Saitama's apartment. The vacuum cleaner was the most effecient method." Genos argued.
"Who cares?! You could've used a broom and dustpan!":Midori snapped. The two of them soon got into an argument over the matter, with the three other heroes and Zenko all watching.
"What am I watching?" Metal Bat asked.
"I don't know." Zenko answered.
"ENOUGH!" Saitama yelled, making Genos and Midori flinch and look at him. "This isn't the time for that." He looked at Genos. "I'm not the only one living here. Consider the feelings of everyone else here."
"Yes, Master Saitama." Genos answered.
"And Midori?" Saitama said while looking at her. "Don't tickle our guests like that, or I'll give you a haircut." he warned, making her gulp.
"I'll be good!" she weakly replied.
"What's wrong with getting a haircut? Your sister with the red kelp had short hair." Metal Bat asked.
"That was punishment for...uh, something she did wrong earlier." Midori answered before holding up a strand of her own hair. "Our hair acts as our main weapon. If it's cut down, we're practically defenseless. And growing it back is a pain."
"Because it fills up a whole restaurant?" Zenko asked.
"No. Wait, what? Never mind." Midori said with a shake of her head. "The problem is that the method to grow it back quickly comes with certain physical side-effects." She then turned her back to them, letting them see her big ass inside her gi. "Guess what mine is?"
Genos remained stone faced, Zombiewoman raised an eyebrow, Metal Bat and Saitama blushed to different degrees and Zenko elbowed her brother when she caught him staring.
"So...is that why Nori's, uh...breasts swelled up?" Metal Bat asked.
"They did what now?" Midori asked, making Saitama sigh.
"It's a long story, but..."
Kogane's head head low as she hugged herself and walked through the streets of the abandoned district, an eager Nyan following behind her.
"How much farther until we get there?" the cat monster asked while examining her claws.
"...Not far." Kogane answered in a defeated tone.
"Hey, cheer up. Don't sound so down." Nyan said with a smirk. "I mean, yeah, you are betraying the guy who spared your life and is nice to you. But look on the bright side! You get to claw the guy like a fresh scratching post until nothing but bloody rags and meat remain. Oh wait! That's me!" Nyan giggled with a grin, with Kogane snickering along. "I don't kow why you're laughing."
"You think you can defeat Saitama?" Kogane asked, her mood lifting a little. "You try and he's gonna punch a hole through all nine of your lives."
"Two things." Nyan said before wrapping around Kogane and squeezing the taller monster, her claws an inch from Kogane's eyes. "One: I hate cat jokes. And two: That hero you keep singing praises about is nothing compared to me or the other monsters I know."
"That's what you think. You could take every hero and monster alive and throw them at Saitama. He'd only complain how boring the fight was after swatting everyone away like flies." Kogane boasted.
"That's a little out there." Nyan scoffed.
"Okay, I don't know about Blast since nobody's seen him. But the Tornado of Terror? She couldn't even scratch Saitama! The best she could do is come up with is insulting him until she's blue in the face. She's completely powerless against Saitama! She's...She's right behind me, isn't she?" Kogane asked when she saw the cat monster suddenly looking terrified. Kogane slowly turned her head to see the Class-S Rank 2 hero floating behind her and doing her best to burn a whole through Kogane's very existence with a glare. "Uhhh...hi?"
"...and then we came home so I can explain everything. And now, here we are." Saitama finished.
Everyone was quiet as they had listened to Saitama explain his date with Nori and all that had happened. Midori was simply staring at Saitama before smiling.
"Okay." she said before she put the mixing bowl she was using down before she walked towards the door, which was blocked by Zombiewoman.
"Where are you going?" she asked.
"Oh, nowhere special." Midori answered, her smile still in place as her hair began to spread out, a dark aura surrounding her. "The leader of those guys that wanted to have fun with Nori is still out there, correct? I'm just gonna find him and politely ask him to stay away from my sister. Okay?!"
"No." Saitama bluntly said.
"But-"
"No."
"But they-"
"Absolutely not."
"Oh, come on!" Midori whined. "She's my sister and she nearly got molested by some rotten bastards!"
"Even so, they're still human. If you attack them, you'll have the Hero Association come down on you." Saitama stated. "Let us heroes handle it."
"Rrrr! Fine! But when you find him, you better knock him to the moon!" Midori huffed.
"Forget the moon. I'll knock him all the way to Jupiter." Metal Bat promised.
"Big bro!" Zenko said with a glare.
"Hey, don't give me that look. If anyone came after you, I'd tear the world apart to get the bastard." Metal Bat defended.
"Language!" she snapped, making her brother flinch.
"Before you two continue with your argument, I'm going to look into this matter." Zombiewoman stated. "Normally, I'd leave this to the police. But this man sounds more dangerous than the average predator. I'll keep a lookout for him."
"Really? Thanks!" Midori said in gratitude. "Oh, and be sure to shoot his nuts off when you do find him."
"Midori." Saitama said in warning.
"What? He deserves it!" Midori defended, making Metal Bat chuckle.
"It still baffles me." Zombiewoman suddenly said, making them all look at her. "I get that Genos obeys you because your strength and abilities exceed his, despite the difference in Class and Rank, but how is it that these monster obey you without question? Even if you are stronger than the monsters, they would've either run from you or blindly attacked."
"Isn't it what Nori said earlier? About how your power fills them with so much fear that they can't bring themselves to attack?" Metal Bat asked, remembering what Nori had said after they found out she was a monster.
"It's not something you can simply explain." Midori answered before answering while patting Saitama's shoulder. "If you really want to know why we follow, just go a round with Saitama here!"
"You know, that's actually a good idea." Metal Bat agreed with an eager grin. "You up for a little spar?"
"Hold on, big bro! You promised me there'd be no violence while I'm around!" Zenko yelled.
"No worries. It's not a fight. I'm just seeing how strong he is." Metal Bat defended.
"I said no! And that includes sparring!" his little sister said in refusal.
"You don't have to come watch. We can take it somewhere else and you can stay here and hang out with Midori." Saitama suggested.
"I still don't like it." Zenko grumbled.
"Well while you all figure this out, I'm going to step out for a smoke." Zombiewoman decided as she placed a cigarette between her lips while heading towards the door. She opened the door, flipped her lighter open and was suddenly yanked into the air by an unseen force.
...Wait, what?
Everyone in the room were perplexed at the sudden action before they heard someone shout.
"WHOEVER'S IN THERE, COME OUT RIGHT NOW!"
"Oh crap. I recognize that whiny voice." Metal Bat groaned.
"Who's out there?" Saitama asked as he, Metal Bat, Zenko, Genos and Midori all walked out. They all turned their gaze skyward to see Tatsumaki glaring down at them all, a frown on her face and her captives, now including Zombiewoman, were floating behind her.
Midori was terrified, Metal Bat looked annoyed, Zenko was confused and nervous, Genos was stone faced, and Saitama...
"This is going to be a headache. I know it."
A/N: Sorry it took so long. Was all 'pbft' for a while. However, thanks to Darklord331's significant help, I was able to get this out. Hope you all enjoyed. Stay tuned for more.
