'No matter how many times I see it, I have to admit. Natsu's got some good speeches.' Eric thought with a smirk as he watched the fire dragon slayer falling over the finish line, Gajeel not too far behind as Sting took a while before he finally crossed it.
"And with that incredible speech, the Chariot round has come to a close! In sixth place and earning the first two points for Fairy Tail Team A, is Natsu Dragneel! In seventh place and just barely scoring a point for his team is Gajeel of Fairy Tail Team B and surprisingly, in last place and earning no points for his team is Sting of Sabretooth!"
"You know, it's times like this I remember that Fairy Tail was actually a beast back in the days." Eric heard Yuka say as they all watched the dragon slayers slowly standing up, smirking as he nodded before turning as he heard Gajeel speak up.
"W-Watch out, Creed. In our actual fight…no gravity is going to save you."
"Oh, I welcome that fight by all means." Eric said with a smirk, Gajeel grinning as he nodded before the gravity mage made his way back to his team's booth.
'Hmm, that was a bit more fun than I was expecting. This might not be so boring after all.'
"The fist pump? Really?" Bacchus asked with an amused smirk as soon as Eric entered their booth, the dragon slayer simply rolling his eyes as the others snickered & laughed.
"Hey, the crowd seemed to love it, so I suppose it was a success."
"You being able to back up your taunting & boasts from the start helped a lot with its success." Screecher said, smirking as Eric just gave a sheepish grin.
"Uh, you guys heard that, huh?"
"The entirety of the Domus Flau did. Also, Flare doesn't look a bit too happy with how much you clicked with that Risley chick."
"Ah…right. Forgot about that part." Eric said with a smile as he turned towards the Quatro section of the arena before smirking at how Flare was pouting & glaring at him.
"You know, that was merely me trying to make friends like you asked me to, right?" Eric said as he connected the two of them through his Archive, chuckling at how she flinched before wincing as she was now fully glaring at him.
"How many times have I told you to stop doing that?!"
"Six times." Eric answered with an amused smile, hearing Toby and Kurohebi being called to the front and looking at their fight as Flare sighed.
"So, how are you finding the games?"
"I would like it if my boyfriend stopped flirting with every girl he sees, but then I remembered that A) you think you're being friendly and B) you're also too loyal to try anything."
"…I meant the games as in the rounds, not the other stuff."
"Oh, those are good too. By the way, the fist bump was a bit corny, but it was a nice touch that most people are still talking abo-Eric?"
"Uh, yes?" Eric asked, already knowing what Flare wanted to ask as Kurohebi pulled himself back while sending Toby flying in the opposite direction.
"Since when does that guy have Gravity Magic?"
"I'm suspecting some type of Mimic magic or Copy magic that requires physical touch since we did shake hands at the start of the Chariot round."
"Since he's stumbling around as soon as he lands, I guess it's more of a Mimic than a Copy." Eric hummed at Flare's response as he watched Kurohebi easily dodging around Toby's attack, finding himself agreeing with Flare's statement as the Raven Tail mage stumbled a bit every time he adjusted the gravity around him.
'Hmm, he's transforming his ethernano to make a mimic of my own, but he doesn't have as much mastery over it and with how his ethernano is slowly reappearing & replacing that which looks like mine, he has a finite time before he has to Mimic the ability again."
"Flare, I have to go now. I got some info I have to share with the guys."
"Oh, before you go, we need to talk about something later tonight."
"….You're not pregnant, right?" Eric asked, smiling a bit nervously and ignoring the curious stares from his teammates as he heard Flare squeak before letting out a sigh of relief as he watched her shaking her head.
"N-No. It's about an offer that Veronica made me and I wanted to ask you about it."
"Oh, sure. I'll see you later tonight then, beautiful." Eric had to admit that he loved seeing her blush in embarrassment as he cut the connection, rolling her neck as he cleared his throat.
"You done flirting?" Leo asked, frowning a bit along with the others as Kurohebi tore apart Toby's sock, to which Eric simply rolled his eyes.
"Yes, now listen up. I've got some info on Kurohebi & his magic."
"…Boys, are you all seeing what I'm seeing?" Bacchus asked, a perverted grin on his face which was shared by Leo and Warcry as Screecher was bright red while Eric simply smirked at the spectacle happening on the arena grounds.
On one side was Jenny and her group of ladies all dressed in the most risqué cat girl cosplay that Eric has seen in both of his lives, their bountiful assets accentuated by the lingerie & ear headbands of various colours.
On the other was Mirajane and her group of ladies clad in black leather dominatrix outfits, each swinging around a whip that smacked the ground with a loud crack.
"Uh, Eric? Look to the right." Screecher said while pointing in that direction, Eric blinking as he turned in that direction before freezing at the sight of Flare sitting on a flaming throne of hair, a spiked whip made out of scarlet hair laid across her lap and dressed in a scarlet leather dominatrix outfit.
"…You know what? Slightly into it." Eric muttered, sighing as he heard Bacchus & Warcry bursting out into laughter while Leo & Screecher held onto each other as they tried to suppress theirs to no avail.
"Oooh! This competition is now reaching its peak as we reach the final chapter: Wedding Dresses! Grab a partner and get onto the field to help rate your couple outfits!"
"I'm guessing I don't have a say in this, do I?"
"Unless you wish for me to ask some other guy?" Flare asked with an amused smile as she stood next to Eric, already dressed in a pristine white wedding dress that showed a hint of cleavage.
He didn't know where the hell she got it from, but he was not going to ask as he snapped his fingers, hearing the groans from his teammates and the gasps from the crowd as the Quatro Cerberus booth was obscured by scarlet flames.
The next moment, the flames were extinguished and revealed Eric in a black double-breasted suit, Flare & him linked by their arms as a stairway made out of scarlet flames went from their booth all the way to the middle of the arena.
"…How come you can't do that for us, my sweet Gray?" Eric chuckled as he heard Juvia asking that to Gray, walking down the stairway along with a smug Flare as the two of them stepped onto the arena floor.
"And that is why I love you."
"Of course. Now, I'll be closing my eyes." Before Flare could ask, Eric closed his eyes and turned off his Heavenly Vision just as he saw Ooba Babasaama landing on the ground, smirking as he heard the entire arena gag in unison and waiting a few moments before finally opening his eyes.
"…A warning would have been nice." Flare grumbled as she blinked profusely, to which Eric simply chuckled as he shrugged.
"Always plan for the unexpected. Now then, I believe it's time for us to remove ourselves from the battlefield or else we might be disqualified for interference."
"A single blow. Damn, Fairy Tail is strong." Eric spoke with a smirk as he watched Jenny fall to the ground, completely unconscious while Mira looked at peace as she deactivated her Take-Over.
"Just as big of a She-Devil as I remembered." Bacchus spoke with a smirk, to which Warcry just grinned and nodded.
"Yep. Looks like Fairy Tail is showing the rest of the world that they're back."
"And now, we're off to the third match of the day and oh my god, it's incredible! We have a battle that people have been waiting for since the Grand Magic Games began: The strongest guild from seven years ago against the strongest guild of today! It's Fairy Tail Team A's Elfman…against Sabretooth's Yukino!"
"…Oh, this is wild." Eric said with wide eyes, watching as a serious Elfman and Yukino appeared on the battlefield while Mako stood in between the two.
The tension could be cut with a knife as the two mages stared at each other, the entire arena silent as Eric frowned and took a deep breath.
'…Yeah, canon is completely fucked.'
"I look forward to doing battle with you." Yukino began as soon as the round started, Elfman looking a bit surprised at her kindness before grinning as he nodded.
"As do I. Let us have a manly battle!" Elfman spoke with a nod, Yukino not answering as she simply gave Elfman a stoic look before speaking.
"Before we begin, I wish to make a wager with you like the others have."
"Of course, what do you wish to bet?" Elfman asked before both he and the arena was surprised at Yukino's response.
"Let us bet our lives."
"What's this?! It appears Yukino is taking this round serious and is betting their lives on this match! Hopefully, it isn't as serious as we all are thinking."
"No thank you. It is not manly to take a life for sport." Elfman spoke with a frown and Yukino simply raised an eyebrow before shaking her head.
"I do not mean it literally. If I win, you will leave Fairy Tail and join Sabretooth and vice versa if you win. Is that agreeable?"
"Ooh! This is getting good, people!" Elfman stared at Yukino before looking over at where Makarov was standing, smiling as the guild master gave him a soft smile and a thumbs-up.
"Then, it would be unmanly of me to not take you up on your offer!"
"WILD!" Surprisingly, it was both the Fairy Tail and the Quatro Cerberus guilds that cheered in unison at Elfman's response, the fairies looking just as surprised before Makarov gave a deadpan stare as he watched Goldmine wiping away a few tears.
"That right there…is a wild goddamn MAN!" Bacchus' voice echoed across the arena, Elfman looking happy at hearing his words being repeated by someone else before turning back as Yukino gave a smug smirk and nodded.
"Then, let us not waste any more time. Gate of the Fish, I open thee: Pisces!" Yukino chanted as she took out a golden key and twisted it in the air besides her, Elfman frowning & crouching low as a golden magic crest appeared at the end of the key.
The next moment, it expanded to nearly five times its size as a pair of huge sea creatures with the heads of koi fish and the bodies of eels shot out from the portal, their giant bodies swimming through the air as if it was water before their heads came to a standstill behind Yukino
The one of the right had light coloured scales with dark markings around their body while the one on the right in contrast had dark coloured scales with light markings, both sea beasts bearing the symbol of Pisces in a dark colour & a light colour respectively.
"Beast Soul: Ape!" With a simple grunt, Elfman was obscured by a white light just as the lighter half of Pisces rushed forward and crashed into him, its charge easily stopped by a pair of massive hands as Elfman had now transformed into a giant Vulcan nearly three times his original size.
Watching as the darker half had swam around to try and flank him, Elfman grunted as he spun while still holding onto the light fish, the dark fish forced to abandon its attack lest it hit its companion as the Take-Over mage tossed the lighter fish with a challenging roar.
However, he was not done as Elfman leapt towards the dark fish with a roar, wrapping his arms around the sea creature's neck before gritting his teeth as he forced it to crash into the ground with a thundering boom.
Quickly leaping away as the dust began to settle, Elfman waited before frowning as both fish shot out of the dust cloud with loud screeches, turning as he felt Yukino's ethernano flare.
"Gate of the Scales, I open thee: Libra!" The next moment, the air besides Yukino warped as she flashed out another key, a golden crest appearing in the spot besides her before a beautiful woman dressed in a provocative green belly dancer outfit appeared from thin air.
"Ooooh! It appears that Yukino has decided to take this serious as she opens another gate along with Pisces!"
"Libra, alter his gravity." Yukino ordered, Libra nodding as she did a beautiful yet short dance before Elfman's eyes widened as he sunk into the ground, gritting his teeth as he was forced to kneel for fear of smacking face first into solid ground.
Pisces didn't waste any opportunity as the duo swam high in the air before coming down with deafening screeches, Elfman taking a shaky breath before grinning as his body was obscured by white light once more.
"Beast Soul: Lizardman!" With a dominating roar, Elfman ripped his arms from the ground and everyone watched in awe as the man caught a half of Pisces in each hand, both fish having slight looks of shock on their faces before their eyes rolled over as they were smashed skulls first into the ground.
"Beast Soul: Weretiger!" Before Libra could try to alter her spell, Elfman was enveloped by a white light once more and disappeared from view, a pair of arms covered in spotted fur wrapping around her from behind before she was thrown into the ground with a powerful German Suplex.
"SUPER! Elfman shows his capabilities as he switches between three different forms in the blink of an eye and takes out both of Yukino's Celestial Spirits! Is this the power of Fairy Tail now reborn to its peak?!" The announcer asked in excitement, Elfman dispelling his Weretiger form while taking a few deep breaths as he turned to Yukino, who had leapt away from Libra the moment she saw him appear behind him.
'How? Libra and Pisces have an incredible synergy that can injure even Sting, so how is a simple mage from Fairy Tail able to beat him like that?' Yukino thought with a frown as she dismissed her Celestial Spirits and put their keys away, glancing over to where she last saw her guild master before she froze in fear at the baleful glare the giant of a man gave her.
Taking a shaky deep breath, Yukino stood upright with her back straight and cleared her throat, clenching her fists to stop her hands from shaking before shaking her head as she reached into her outfit before pulling out a golden key.
However, Elfman frowned as the aura from this key felt more malicious than the others as a pitch black serpent was wrapped around it.
"It appears I have underestimated you, Elfman of Fairy Tail. Let me show you the respect you deserve by opening the 13rd Gate." Unlike the previous times that Elfman has seen Celestial Magic being used, it was a lot more ominous this time as a thick purple miasma began to exude from Yukino as she raised the key above her head.
Watching as a purplish-black magic crest appeared above Yukino and an eerie bell echoed in the air, Elfman stood up and shook his arms as Yukino twisted the key in the air, the mist rapidly thickening to hide her from view before a purple glow erupted from the crest as she chanted.
"Gate of the Serpent Bearer, I open thee: Ophiuchus." One moment, the air was tense as Elfman waited for an attack and the next, he wheezed for breath as a serpentine tail covered in thick black armour smashed into his chest and sent him crashing into the arena walls.
The mist began to disappear only to replace by the horrifying sight of a giant snake-like creature that looked part organic and part mechanical in nature swaying in the air above Yukino, its pitch black body covering the entire sky above the Domus Flau while both it and Yukino were coated in radiant purple ethernano.
"I do apologize for your failure in defeating me, Elfman, but know that your time in Sabretooth will be a better experience." Yukino spoke with a deepened voice as she and Ophiuchus approached Elfman before she stopped & the serpent lowered itself to protect Yukino as they heard Elfman chuckle.
Watching as the man slowly stood up, stumbling with dizziness, Yukino could only watch in awe as the silver-haired man stood proudly in front of her despite the bruises & cuts covering his body, Elfman giving her a bloody grin as an aura of silver ethernano erupted from his body.
"Truthfully, I wanted to finish this fight without using this one since I wanted to save it for my future fight against my older sister, but I guess it can't be helped. Full Body Take-Over: Beast Soul – Belcusas the Thunderclap!" With a deafening roar, Elfman was obscured by silver ethernano and grew in size until he was nearly tall enough to look the giant serpent in the eyes.
As the ethernano faded away, Evergreen was the only one to know the form Elfman had took as his upper body was covered in heavy dark maroon armour while his lower body was covered in bright silver armour, the Take-Over mage letting out a deep growl before grinning as both he & Ophiuchus glared at each other.
With roars that shook the ground below them, the two behemoths didn't waste any time as they charged at each other, crashing into each other with a deafening boom that sent Yukino flying back and into a wall with a silent gasp.
Wrapping his arms around the neck of Ophiuchus, Elfman growled as the serpent wrapped his body around his legs and pulled him down, making sure not to let go as he pulled the beast down with him.
Rolling over until he was on top, Elfman howled as he brought his fist down onto its chest, Ophiuchus howling as the fist shattered the armour on its body before Elfman howled as its head snapped forward and bit right through the armour to clamp down on his shoulder.
Gritting his teeth as blood flowed out from under Ophiuchus' mouth, Elfman grinned as he wrapped his arms around the beast's neck and tensed as hard as he could, the serpent letting out a coughing gasp as the move shattered his teeth and cracked his neck.
Not finished yet, Elfman howled as he wrapped both hands around Ophiuchus' neck before everyone's eyes widened as the beast disappeared from his grasp, Yukino letting out a defeated sigh as Elfman turned towards her with a frown before raising her hand.
"I have no way of beating you. I forfeit."
A/N: And there we are with a wild display of Elfman's capabilities! Also, I wanted to showcase how much stronger his Belcusas form was compared to the others since the beast was supposed to be very power, so I hope you all liked that.
