Loving a loser Is hard Chapter Five

Today had been a tough day for Hinata. Naruto had broken up with her, and in a moment of confusion, she found herself kissing Kiba. Just as she was trying to process everything, Sasuke appeared and told her she needed to see Naruto.

As Hinata walked down the busy village street, her heart pounded in her chest as she made her way to Naruto's apartment. She knocked on the door but received no answer. "Naruto, are you here?" she called out. The apartment was in complete disarray things were thrown around, and it was in terrible shape. She noticed a poster of Naruto, now shredded and lying on the floor.

"Naruto?" she called again as she continued to search the apartment. Takeout boxes of ramen and other meals were left out, some half-eaten. As she walked further in, she spotted unopened presents crushed on the ground. Despite her anxiety, it was clear that Naruto wasn't home.

Determined to do something, Hinata decided to clean up his apartment. She started with the kitchen, washing dishes and collecting garbage. As she was tidying up, she stumbled upon a picture of a girl, Mika, with her bare chest barely covered by ramen, and her telephone number scrawled across it. Disgusted by the sight, Hinata quickly tossed it into the trash.

Finally, after hours of cleaning, the apartment looked tidy again. Exhausted, Hinata laid down on Naruto's bed. Overwhelmed by the situation, she couldn't help but start crying.

Hinata woke up the next morning, realizing Naruto was still gone. She decided to head home, but as she walked, an Anbu Black Ops member in a tiger mask approached her. "The Hokage needs to see you in his office immediately," he said.

When Hinata arrived, she saw her teammates, Shino and Kiba, already there. "Great, now that we're all here, I need Team 8, who specializes in tracking," the Sixth Hokage began.

"A request has been made from the Village Hidden in the Hills to retrieve Princess Hiyama. This village does not support the use of chakra, and any form of ninjutsu is illegal and forbidden there. The princess has sought help, requesting asylum in the Leaf Village."

"She wants to live here, correct?" Kiba asked. "That's right," the Hokage confirmed. Shino inquired, "Is she unable to leave on her own?"

"No, she can't. Princess Hiyama specifically asked for the Leaf to get involved. Her father is searching for her and has also requested our assistance."

"If you need to locate her, why not send Naruto on this mission?" Kiba suggested.

"Naruto has been banned from the Land of Hills ever since his last visit more than two years ago," the Hokage explained. "Will you take this assignment to retrieve the princess and help her reconcile with her father, the king?"

He continued, "The Village Hidden in the Hills has made a request for assistance in retrieving Princess Hiyama. This village does not support the use of chakra, and any form of ninjutsu is strictly forbidden. The princess has sought help, requesting asylum in the Leaf Village."

Kakashi then turned to Kiba. "Kiba, your role will be to track the princess's whereabouts. Your keen sense of smell and Akamaru's assistance will be crucial in locating her without drawing attention."

He looked at Shino next. "Shino, once Kiba has found the princess, your insects will be vital in surveillance and communication. The village's anti-chakra stance means we can't rely on traditional methods. Your insects can gather intel discreetly and relay information back to us."

Finally, he addressed Hinata. "Hinata, your Byakugan will be essential in this mission. You'll need to scout the area, ensuring that no one is following you or monitoring your movements. You'll also be the one to engage with the princess directly, as your gentle demeanor and reputation may help gain her trust."

Kakashi looked at all of them, his tone grave. "Will you take this assignment? Your goal is to retrieve the princess and bring her safely to the Leaf Village so we can help her reconcile with her father, the king."

"Yes," they all responded in unison. As they exited the Hokage's office, Shino said, "I'll meet you guys at the gate in 20 minutes."

Kiba turned to Hinata, gently rubbing her arm. "Are you okay? How did you sleep last night? I stopped by your place, but you weren't home."

"Oh, thanks, Kiba," Hinata replied. "I lost track of time and fell asleep at Sakura's."

"Oh, I see," Kiba said, a hint of disappointment in his voice. "I'll meet you in 20 minutes at the gate." He then leaned forward, kissed her on the cheek, and walked away.

Kiba's POV

What a big fucking liar, he thought, Hinata scent reeked of Naruto. Were they together? No way. He had told Naruto what would happen if he didn't break up with Hinata. Naruto wouldn't risk it. Yet, she didn't seem like her usual love-struck self. Hinata looked like she hadn't rested at all.

Knowing the path to the Hidden Hills Village by heart, Kiba got ready, his plans set in motion. This was months in the making. He would have Hinata's love, no matter what. Waving goodbye, he steeled himself for what was to come.

As the three met up at the gate, Kiba took charge of setting the best route. "Hinata," he laughed darkly, "I didn't want to do this, but I guess you need to learn the hard way. I'll make you hate that loser until you only love me."

Hinata's Pov

As the three traveled through the trees on their way to the Land of Hills, Kiba suddenly stopped the group. "We're about halfway there. There's a small inn up ahead," he said. "Let's stop here."

Shino and Hinata nodded in agreement. As they entered the small town, they approached the front desk where a woman with short black hair and green eyes greeted them with a wide smile. "Oh my," she exclaimed excitedly. "Are you Leaf Ninjas?"

"Yeah," Kiba replied proudly, tapping his Leaf headband."Wow, that means you guys must know Naruto," the woman said. "I haven't seen him in a while. He told me he would come visit me."

Hinata felt a pang of discomfort. Was Naruto involved with this woman? The way she spoke about him seemed suspicious. Hinata couldn't help but feel uneasy, thinking that this woman might be someone of ill nature. Could Naruto really have been involved with someone like her?

The woman leaned over the counter, seemingly hoping the men would notice her figure. She handed them two keys and continued, "When Naruto was last in town, he gave me this necklace." Hinata's eyes widened as she noticed a familiar Leaf necklace with a red ruby stone hanging around the woman's neck. It looked exactly like the one Naruto had given her.

Hinata couldn't speak. She was too shocked. She pointed at the necklace, and the woman realized what Hinata was wearing. "This is my most prized possession," the woman said. "Naruto told me it was his mother's and that he would come back for me and take me away from this inn."Hinata's heart sank as she reached for the necklace around her own neck. It was the same. She remembered Naruto's words clearly.

Naruto:"Hinata, I want you to have this. You're special. My mother's chakra told me to give this to the woman I love. I decided to give it to you."

After seeing this, it suddenly felt much less significant. "Was it a lie?" Hinata asked herself , "Did Naruto just give it to her, and it meant nothing?"

"Okay, let's go," Kiba said, leadingHinata away."Are you okay?" Shino asked.

"Yeah," Hinata stuttered, moving away. Kiba helped her with her bag and guided her to her room. "What's wrong, babe?" Kiba thought, feeling a pang of sympathy. Hinata wiped her tears and said, "Naruto... he said he loved me, that I was special." She shook as she cried.

Kiba tried to comfort her, saying, "Hinata, don't cry. It's okay. It's better that you two broke up. I'm sorry he made you cry. Go take a warm bath, and I'll be back."

"Okay," she managed to say through her tears.

Kiba's POV

Kiba closed the door behind him, a smirk playing on his lips. "I'm so glad I visited this inn before," he thought. He had used Transformation Jutsu to disguise himself as Naruto, fooling everyone into believing he was the real deal. He chuckled, remembering how Naruto had once shown him a special necklace, claiming it was his mother's and that he would only give it to the woman he truly loved. That was when Kiba had set his plan into motion, creating several fake necklaces to use in his scheme. He realized he didn't even need to try very hard with his Transformation Jutsu. As Naruto, women were drawn to him easily.

He glanced at his reflection, noting his blue eyes and whisker marks. "Naruto is going to give that innkeeper a visit," he said with a smirk, already anticipating the fallout of his deception.

Barking," shut up," Kiba told his Akamaru. "It's the only way. I want her to be my mate." He knew Akamaru didn't approve, but he added, "Go wait for me in the room. I love her, and I promise I won't do this for much longer, okay?"

Akamaru reluctantly headed into Shino's room. "Good," Kiba said, feeling a sense of relief.

As Kiba reentered the hotel, the innkeeper's eyes widened with excitement. "Naruto!" she exclaimed, running up to him. "Oh my, it's really you!"

"Yes, of course, it's me," Kiba said, flashing his best imitation of Naruto's signature grin. He noted that Shino was in the bath, and Hinata was bathing, making this the perfect opportunity.

"I missed you," the innkeeper said, throwing herself into his arms. "I missed you too," Kiba replied, maintaining the facade. "I hear some of my friends from your village are here."

Her face lighting up. "Yes, their rooms are 304 and 306."

"Great," Kiba said. "Put me in room 305, if it's available."

"Yes," she nodded. "It's available."

"Perfect. I only have a short time. Would you like to join me?" he asked. "Yes," she said eagerly.

Kiba thought, "Stupid woman. You're going to help me make sure Hinata gets hurt."

When he reached the room, the innkeeper was all over him, kissing him passionately. Kiba felt disgusted. "Lay down," he commanded in a harsh tone."I don't have time for this," he continued. "You want to be with Naruto, right?"

"Yes," she nodded."Then shut up and take it," he ordered. He roughly pulled down her underwear and entered her without hesitation, demanding that she scream his name loudly. "Yes, louder, or I'll stop," he threatened. The innkeeper, lost in her infatuation, obeyed as he desired.

Hinata's POV

As Hinata exited the bathroom, she hoped the bath would help, but it only deepened her heartbreak. She knew Naruto was a war hero, but the thought of him being intimate with another woman was still jarring. Kiba's comment about Naruto having fun with spa attendants replayed in her mind, adding to her distress.Entering her room, she was startled by loud banging noises, as if a couple were making love. Her heart sank. She thought about switching rooms but then heard a woman scream, "Naruto!"

Hinata froze, her heart racing. She heard the woman moaning, "I miss you, Naruto. Yes, don't stop, please. I love it." Then, to her shock, she heard Naruto's voice moan in response.

The realization hit her like a physical blow. Overwhelmed, she fled from the inn, her breath coming in ragged gasps. Shaking, she vomited on the floor outside. The betrayal felt gut-wrenching Naruto, whom she loved deeply, was with another woman. She felt utterly used, heartbroken, and foolish.

Kiba Pov

Kiba looked down at the woman beneath him with contempt. "Look at this foolish woman," he said disdainfully, noting how she seemed to revel in the moment. He flipped her over, sensing Hinata nearby, and instructed the woman to increase her sounds. He mocked Naruto's voice, making exaggerated noises.

He chuckled to himself. "I do this for the woman I love," he said sarcastically. He heard a door slam.Hinata must have left. Finally, he could stop. The woman was repugnant. Did she really believe she was with Naruto and that he would take her back to the village as his bride? He remembered their last mission.

During a stay at this very inn, Naruto had remarked, "Hey, that innkeeper gave me the eye." When Kiba asked if he was interested, Naruto replied, "I'm not into casual sex anymore. The next time I have sex, it'll be because I love the woman."

Kiba had brushed it off, suggesting they have a few drinks. After several, he carried Naruto to his bed and poured sake on him. Inspired, he used Transformation Jutsu to impersonate Naruto and took the innkeeper to bed. He gave her a fake necklace, hoping that rumors would spread to Hinata and make her give up on Naruto. The next morning, the innkeeper thanked "Naruto" for the wonderful night. Naruto was bewildered and said he couldn't remember anything. Kiba lied, telling Naruto that he had been with her, and was satisfied to see his shock. "No more drinking for me," he thought.

Kiba pulled out of the woman and told her coldly, "Get dressed." He threw her clothes at her. "You make me sick. You weren't faithful. You've been with other men since I left."

"No, I'm sorry," she protested. "You've been gone for a year.""Save it. I need to prepare for a mission. Get out of my room." Hurt and embarrassed, she left. Kiba dispelled the Transformation Jutsu and returned to his true form. Now it was time to find Hinata.

Hinata's POV

Hinata lay there, struggling to accept the painful truth. Naruto had never truly loved her. She had devoted her entire heart to him, believing his promises beneath the moon, only to find out they were all lies. To him, she was nothing more than an innkeeper.

Kiba appeared in front of her, worry etched on his face. "Are you okay, Hinata? What's wrong?" he asked, pulling her into his arms. "What happened?" He gently wiped her tears away. "Is this about Naruto?"

Despite knowing it wasn't fair, Hinata clung to him, crying and shaking, feeling foolish. "Stop crying, my hummingbird," Kiba said softly, using the nickname he had always called her. "I love you. I've loved you for so long that I don't even remember a time when I didn't. I promise to always treasure you and love you with all my heart. Please give me a chance. I know you're hurting from Naruto, but I love you."

Though Hinata saw Kiba as a friend, his words deeply touched her. Maybe she could try to love him. She hugged him tightly, finding solace in his embrace. "Okay, thanks," she whispered.

Kiba leaned in and kissed her gently. "I will make sure you never cry again." Hinata couldn't help but smile, remembering how Kiba once told her that her swift, graceful movements reminded him of a hummingbird in flight.

As they reentered the inn, they were met by an irate innkeeper. "Hey, you from the Leaf! Tell that bastard he's not welcome here! How dare he, after what he did to my daughter!" he yelled. Kiba asked, "What happened?" The innkeeper's anger was palpable. "That piece of shit Naruto was here. He promised my daughter marriage, then ran off, breaking her heart." Kiba sniffed the air. "Yeah, that's his scent. He was here." Hinata's eyes welled up with tears. The innkeeper noticed her distress and addressed her directly. "Hey, young lady, if you're crying for that boy, you're wasting your time. A man like him is a total womanizer. He could have any woman he wants and lacks respect for any woman. Do yourself a favor and get over him."

He held up a shiny necklace that Naruto had discarded and threw it in the garbage. As Hinata went back to her room, Kiba gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Think about what I said, Hinata," he murmured. Grateful for his friendship and kindness, Hinata had a lot to reflect on.

Kiba's POV

Kiba entered his and Shino's room with a broad smile. "Hey, everything okay?" Shino asked.

"Yeah, everything's perfect," Kiba replied, still smiling."Get some rest," Shino said.

Kiba nodded and settled in, feeling a mix of hope and contentment as he thought about the day's events.

Naruto's POV

Sasuke said firmly, "Pull yourself together. I tried to see Hinata, but they said she's gone on a mission."Naruto said.

Sasuke sighed, "Yeah, don't worry. She'll be back soon."

Sasuke continued, "She's going to forgive you. Just be honest about what happened with Sakura. Tell her the truth."

Naruto looked troubled. "I'm sorry, Sasuke. That was my lowest moment. I really don't know why I did it. It could cost all our friendships."

Sasuke reassured him, "I forgive you, Naruto. Look, it's done. Sakura and I were never even a couple. Besides, you two were both hurting and found comfort in each other."

Naruto nodded and left. As Naruto walked back to his apartment, he thought about Hinata. "Wait, Hinata. I'm going to win you back," he vowed to himself.
