Hello everybody Zelda 777 here with chapter two of The Eternal Love of Twilight. I wrote this new chapter two because some of the things that happened in the old chapter forty-eight happened too early as planned but I decided to write this one. In the Twilight Realm

Midna had a tear in her eye as she made her way out of what looks like a temple.

I'm sorry Link but I have to protect you. Midna thought, Somehow I will find a way for me and you to be together.

Midna made her way to the Twilight Palace and went to the throne room and she was shocked to see her father,

"I thought you died," Midna said.

King Vern looked at her, "I did in the sky portion of the Realm of Twilight but I was chosen by the Sols to lead this new land."

Midna looked down, "Well, if you didn't really die then you are still the King of the Twilight Realm but it says that only the true ruler of the Twilight Realm could destroy the Mirror of Twilight."

King Vern looked at her, "You destroyed the mirror of twilight."

"Yes, I did it to protect our realm and the realm of light," Midna replied.

"Why would you want to protect the realm of light?" Vern asked totally guessing that she fell in love with someone there.

Midna looked down, "You won't get mad at me if I tell you the truth?"

King Vern shook his head, "Why would I get mad if you told me the truth?"

"Well okay, I fell in love with someone there in the Realm of Light."

"I knew that, I could tell from when you told me you destroyed the Mirror of Twilight."

Midna looked at him, "Do you know about the Legend of the Hero who would be disguised as the sacred beast of twilight."

Vern nodded, "Yes what about it?"

"Well, the one I fell in love with when Zant invaded the Realm of Light." Midna started, "He turned into a blue-eyed wolf."

"Really, he could possibly be the one that the legends talked about." King Vern muttered to himself, "Well, you must find a way for him to come here."

"Of course, father I will right away."

Vern looked at his daughter, "And if you can't you will have to marry someone else."

Midna turned really quick, "But, I don't want to marry anyone else, Link is the one who my heart belongs to and no one else."

Midna ran out as her father shook his head. Well she sure has her mind set on her and Link being together. Vern thought as he got up to head to his quarters to rest for the night.

Midna ran out of the throne room to head to her bedroom to rest before she does some research to find a way for her and Link to be together again. Once she fell asleep she dreamt of Her and Link getting married with her father by her side. But then all of a sudden an arrow pierced Link in the chest and she tried to scream but nothing came out. She woke up and noticed that she was sweating.

What is the meaning of this. Midna thought, Could it be the Sols warning me about what would happen if me and Link got married.

"No, that isn't the Sols warning you it's just your fears being put in dream form," A voice said behind her.

Midna turned around and she saw her childhood friend. "Zard, it's been a long time since you visited me like this."

"Well, I've been busy helping my father with the lesser part of the void that I didn't really have a chance to visit you as often."

Midna looked down, "So Link won't die if we are to get married."

"No," Zard said. "That's if you could find a way to bring Link here."

Midna smiled, "Do you even know who Link is?"

Zard nodded his head, "Yes, of course I do."

"Then who is he?"

"He is the Hero of Twilight who saved both Hyrule and the Twilight Realm from Zant and Ganondorf," Zard responded. "Also, I can sense that you really love him."

Midna blushed at the mention of that. "Yes, I do but I don't think me and him can be together."

"Who says that you can't?"

"Well, the Goddesses of Hyrule have passed on that Light and Shadow cannot mix."

Zard nodded, "But you really love him that much."

Midna nodded her head, "Yes, I really do."

"Then find a way to bring him here and be happy."

With that Zard disappeared, Midna looked down, I wonder if that was real.

She lied back down in bed and fell asleep.

The Next Morning

Midna woke up really refreshed for the little sleep she did. So she headed to the dining hall to eat breakfast with her father. As soon as she got there King Vern was waiting for her.

"Did you sleep well my daughter?"

Midna shook her head, "Not really since I woke up from that nightmare."

He looked at her, "Do you want to tell me what the nightmare was about?"

"No, I'd rather forget it if I can." Midna responded, "So what's on the schedule today?"

"Well, we have a meeting with the Elders." Vern replied, "You need to get back to the rhythm of being the princess of the Twilight Realm."

"Are you going to tell them what I am trying to do?" Midna asked sensing their disappointment

Vern shook his head, "No, that is not for me to tell."

The two of them left for the meeting room. Once they got there the elders were waiting for them.

"Good Morning, your majesty." Vegt said, "It's great to see you again your highness."

Midna just nodded her head. Now I kind of understand why Link is so quiet.

"So first things first we would like to know about what happened with Zant," Zurk said looking to Midna and he noticed that she seemed out of it.

"Well, I helped defeat him," Midna replied.

Cang looked at her, "Who helped you defeat him?"

Midna kind of blushed thinking about Link like this. "Well, his name is Link and he is from the realm of light."

All of the elders looked at her and Vegt noticed the look and could tell that she was in love with this man named Link.

"Do you want to bring Link back here to the Twilight Realm?" Vegt asked.

Midna looked down and nodded her head, "Yes, because I fell in love with him."

Zurk looked down, But I love you I can't let you find a way for you to find Link.

Once the meeting was finished Vegt looked to Midna, "You must find a way to bring Link back here if you Love him then we would accept that."

Midna looked at him, "Are you serious?"

Vegt nodded his head, "As long as you are happy."

"Thank you Chief Elder Vegt."

Midna automatically left for the library to research ways back to the Realm of Light.
