Hello everybody Zelda777 here with another chapter of the Eternal Love of Twilight. I hope you are enjoying the story so far. If you don't want to miss anything please follow. Also, please review and tell me what you think.
Midna looked at Link then back at his mother.
"What's wrong with him?" Midna asked clearly worried about what happened to her childhood best friend.
"Someone who was sealed inside the void centuries before used some magic and he is dying."
Zelda looked at her "Do you know who it was?"
Link's Mother shook her head. "No, I do not."
"Did he say anything else to you?"
"Yes, he told me that he clearly remembers you."
Link and Midna looked at her.
"That's not really possible because I have never met any Twili before I met Midna." Link responded, "Unless it was someone else named Link."
Zelda nodded her head, "Yes, that could be the case because all of the heroes in the Legends of Hyrule were all named Link."
"He may have been talking about me." A voice said behind them, "Because when I was fighting someone named Salvester when Zelda, the sages and I sealed him in the void I died of over-exhaustion and a person who was the son of death itself named Zard sent me back to live my full life."
Link and Midna knew exactly who it was but Zelda turned and she sensed in the Triforce of Wisdom that he was the Hero of Time.
"The history books never really told us about you versing anybody else besides Ganondorf." Zelda said, "But now you are telling me that you fought someone else by the name of Salvester and you died."
Kakau nodded his head, "Yes, that is exactly what I am saying."
Midna looked at Kakau then back at Zelda, "What he is saying is true."
Now Link looked to Midna, "What do you mean by that?"
"Well there is something that I still haven't told you." Midna said, "About a couple of years before Zant entered the Realm of Light a sorcerous opened the gates of time to free Ganondorf's spirit and I helped the hero of that time period defeat Ganondorf."
"That still doesn't answer how you knew the Hero of Time."
"His time period was also affected and His wife Ruto got kidnapped and he also helped save Hyrule again."
Link closed his eyes, "How long have you known about this?"
"I've knew about this since he showed up the first time in Hyrule to teach you his lost arts." Midna answered, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I never thought about it since we were trying to save Hyrule and the Twilight Realm from Zant and Ganondorf's power. Then I shattered the mirror thinking that I hid something so important from you."
Link just walked up to her and hugged her, "No, it's okay I also hid something important from you when we were trying to save the to realms from evil."
Midna looked at him totally curious about what that was, "And what was that secret?"
"I've wanted to tell you that I loved you but you already know that now," Link answered.
Midna smiled and nodded, "Yes, I do know that."
Link's mother smiled then disappeared.
"So, Kakau what is this Zard person like?" Link asked.
"All I know about him is that he is in charge of the void to make sure none of the evil that is sent there never escapes."
Midna looked at him, "Then how did Ganondorf return."
"That's easy," Kakau responded. "The void that Ganondorf was sent to is different than the one that Zard is in charge of."
Link looked at him thinking, "Isn't the void that Zelda and the sages of your time period sent Ganondorf to was the void in the Sacred Realm."
"Yes."
Midna was still quietly thinking about what could've happened to her childhood friend. When Link looked to Midna and saw her deep in thought.
"What are you thinking about?" Link asked.
"Well, I have been wondering what happened to Zard who was my childhood friend."
Link and Kakau looked at Midna when Kakau asked, "What do you mean by that?"
"Zard and I went to the magic training academy together before he went to the void to help his father with the void."
"How do I get to the void?" Link asked Kakau. "I mean how can I help someone if I can't get to them."
"There is no way for you to go to the void while you are alive anyways."
Midna looked at him, "So are you suggesting we kill him so he could help him."
Kakau shook his head, "No, because there may be no way for him to come back like I did."
"Then how do you suggest we help him," Midna asked.
"There's no need Midna because I am right here." A voice said behind them, "I'm sorry but I need both of you to help me not just Link."
Midna turned and she saw Zard, "This Salvester did something to me and I can sense that I'm dying because I feel my powers leaving me."
"What can we do about it?" Link asked clearly wanting to help. "Do we have to defeat this Salvester then you will live.
Zard shook his head, "No, I'm afraid it won't be that easy."
Link and Midna looked at each other, "What do you mean by that?"
"Well, it seems Salvester separated a part of me and it seems that is the cause of me losing my powers hence the reason why I'm dying."
Midna looked at him, "Just like with Lana and Cia."
Link looked at her confused, "So you've experienced something similar to this."
"Well, not exactly," Midna said. "When Cia and Lana were separated they were both able to live together and the watch over time itself."
"Yeah, that makes sense because Ganondorf separated them but Salvester served Ganondorf and he wasn't very skilled in magic unless it was to take control of people." Kakau added, "So maybe all we really have to do is find the other half of yourself and convince him to re-emerge with you then that could possibly save your life."
"Well, that's a plan," Link said. "Or at least a straw to grasp at."
So the three of them left to go find Zard's other half. But they didn't get really far when someone walked up to them.
"Midna you are going to die for what you did to Zant." The person said, "And you will too, Link for I know he returned to the Realm of Light and you killed him by cutting of his head."
"Who are you identify yourself?" Link demanded.
"Me, you can call me Dand." He replied, "I did not agree with this alliance with Hyrule and since you are the one who initiated it I'm going to have to kill you."
"What does that have to do with Zant?" Zard asked.
"Well, this was apart of Zant's plan to unite the Light Realm with the Twilight Realm but you had him killed."
Link and Midna looked at each other when Vadt walked up to them but stopped when he saw Dand.
"Dad, I thought you were killed by Zant."
Dand looked at him, "I don't have any children especially one who would fall in love with a child of this light dweller."
"Vadt, please go now, and protect my son and daughter," Link said.
Vadt nodded then left.
"Well, well, well, it seems that he really follows orders from you just like my master said he would."
"Who do you serve?" Midna demanded, "We want his name."
"Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt because you will never be able to defeat him." Dand said, "His name is Haruka Ruka."
Once he said the name he was gone. Zard looked down and Midna noticed his reaction.
"Does that name mean anything to you?" Midna asked, "I mean have you heard that name before."
"I have a feeling that the person he mentioned is the half of me that was separated by Salvester,"
Link looked at him then looked down deep in thought. Midna noticed Link's reaction then she walked up to him and kissed him which made him snap back to reality.
"What are you thinking about?" Midna asked. "And don't say nothing because I know you better than that."
"I'm thinking about how we are going to stop the threat that is invading our realms."
"So you think this threat will not only attack the Twilight Realm but Hyrule as well," Kakau asked.
"I mean, I actually don't know but I have a gut feeling about it."
Midna nodded, "Yes, and usually his gut is mostly always right."
"What do you mean mostly right?"
"I take that back, his gut is always right."
Laluh made his way to a part of the Twilight Realm that has been forgotten for centuries. But as soon as he got there someone greeted him.
"Laluh, welcome to my temple." A voice said, "I knew you would come here."
"May I know your name?" Laluh asked, "I mean, I'd really like to call you by your name."
"You may call me Haruka Ruka," he replied. "You've come here to get revenge on the Twili."
Laluh nodded, "Yes, your greatness and I heard that you could help me with that."
Ruka looked at him with his piercing green eyes. Laluh shifted uncomfortably and felt as if his whole life was being watched by Ruka.
"What will you give me in return to help you get your revenge?" Haruka Ruka asked, "I know you want to kill Link the King of Twilight."
"Yes, because he killed my parents and I swore on their graves that I would kill him and his family."
"You do know that Link and Midna were chosen by the Sols of Twilight to be the Eternal rulers of Twilight."
Laluh nodded, "Yes, but I know you are more powerful than the Sols themselves."
"So you think that I have the power to kill Link and Midna."
"Yes, I would not have come to you if I didn't think so." Laluh replied, "So will you help me?"
Haruka Ruka grabbed his chin to think, "Well, I could have some eyes in Hyrule to manage things there for me."
"But I don't want to return to Hyrule," Laluh cried.
"Fine then I won't help you at all."
"Alright I'll do it but only if you let me kill Link and Midna."
Haruka Ruka smiled, "Sounds good to me, now I give you some of my power to do my will."
That concludes the chapter, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. A little spoiler, this is only the beginning. If you don't want to miss anything please follow. Also please review and tell me what you think. Until next time please stay safe wherever you are.
