"Whoopi!" Shouted Red as he threw piles of monies in the air.
"All right here we go…" Said his co-leader.
"Oh yeah…" Said Red. He was so excited about winning his bet that he forgot about why they were even watching Zim in the first place.
"In third place with a score of 3050, we have the Plookesians!" Said the announcer followed by cheers from the crowd.
"Come on!" Shouted Red.
"Hurry up!" Added Purple.
"In second place! With a score of 3080, We have the Iquisitorians!"
"Here it comes!" Said Purple in excitement.
"And in first place, with a last-minute victory and a score of 3100, we have the first winners ever from two different planets. The Earthian and the Irken!" Said the Announcer.
"Yes!" Shouted Red as he watched Zim emerge. Yet…
"What?" Purple asked as the Invader stepped out.
"Can… I only see his face." Said Purple.
"Grrrr…." Said Red.
Even though Zim and Gaz had come out to accept the winners' trophies, the camera angle had it in a way that only his head was visible. He was slightly taller than the girl but they couldn't tell her height either. There was something big blocking about of their bodies.
"It's the blob alien presenting the trophies. How tall is he?" Asked Purple.
"He's a blob it's hard to tell." Red answered.
"Computer analyze height of the green blob." Red ordered.
"Blob height cannot be analyzed as their height changes based on different factors, such as position, weather, environment, etc…" The A.I. replied.
"He'll move." Said Purple.
"I present you your top 3!" Shouted the announcer as Zim and Gaz raised their trophy and th…
"What!?"
"What just happened?" Asked Purple as the screen went black. Then all of a sudden…
"Hello Tallest." Said…
"Wait I know you... you're that stupid name resist beings." Said Purple.
"Yes, and we have you now." The Vortian leader threatened.
"Could you give us like 5 minutes?" Said Purple. "We just need to see something."
"Computer switch back to the Arcadikon feed." Ordered Red.
"But we…" Said the Resisty before the screen went back to…
"NOOOOOOO!" Yelled Purple as he realized it was over.
"Can we go back?" Asked Red.
"Negative the screen is recorded not the feed." Replied the A.I.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Red shouted mimicking his invader.
"Sirs." Said one of the drones. "Perhaps we should send someone to the planet to view… whatever you are attempting to figure out."
Red thought for a moment but dismissed the idea almost immediately.
"No, that won't be necessary." He answered quickly.
"What are we going to do?" Asked Purple.
"What do mean?" Asked Red. "We are going to go, get some snacks sit down and…"
"…Congratulate out little winner."
"Um sir…" Said a nearby drone. "…What about the resist?"
Purple just chuckled in response…
"That's still a stupid name."
"Dib!" Asked Gaz as she tried to reach him on the communicator.
"Ah yes victory!" Zim shouted.
"Shs." Said Gaz. "Dib's not answering."
"Are you still on that… he's fine…" Said Zim.
"Dib…" She said ignoring Gaz.
"Hello, Gaz."
"What… you!?" Said Gaz as she instead of seeing Dib's big head saw a much smaller mask covered face of the event coordinator.
"Congratulations." She said.
"Where's Dib!?" She asked.
"OH, he's fine… for now…" Replied the coordinator.
"Stop playing games. Let's just end this now!" She yelled.
"Oh… that will have to wait. I'm on my way… home… and I enjoy the company. See you later." She said before ending the call.
"What? You… Grrrrr…" She growled.
"See she said he's fine." Zim assured her causing her to punch him in the face.
"Come on we have to go after them." She said.
"But… we don't even know where they are headed?" Zim pointed out.
"I know exactly where they are going." Gaz said.
"Where?" Asked Zim as he got up and placed a Talon on the spot where Gaz had hit him.
Gaz started to run and Zim followed.
"Home."
ring* *ring* *ring*
"He's not answering." Said Red.
"Maybe he hasn't gone back to his ship yet." Said Purple.
"It's been hours since he won, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't stick around Arcadikon for that long.
"Hello, my Tallest." Suddenly Zim answered.
"Hello Zim… we just want…" Red began before noticing that once again it was only Zim's face.
"Um, where are you?" Asked Purple.
"In the back of the voot you see… um, the human is piloting…" Said Zim.
"Why is she piloting your…"
"Ooof!" Shouted Zim as he was flung somewhere on the ship.
"Sorry, she made the jump to hyperspeed rather quickly." Said Zim as he returned to the screen.
"Zim back up so we can see all of you please." Said Purple being rather too direct for his co-leader, causing Red to bring a talon to his face.
"Sorry, not much room back here." Zim answered.
"I'm pretty much against the wall as is."
"Grr…" Red growled slightly before regaining his composure. "…Well we just wanted to congratulate you on your victory."
"OH… Thank you my Tallest." He said.
"You seem to have chosen a very able partner." Red stated.
"Oh, yes… she is quite skilled, which is more than I can say for basically the rest of her race." Zim told them.
"So… is she a part of your invasion plan?" Asked Red.
"Who ca…" Purple began before being elbowed in the midsection by his co-leader.
"Um… yes of course… gaining her trust is… um, key… to the plan." Zim answered.
"You haven't shared your plan with us…" Said Tallest Red. "…Give us an update asap!"
"An update… of course my Tallest. I will send it as soon as I get back to the base." Said Zim.
"Make it your top priority." Said Red before ending the communication.
"What was that all about?" Asked Purple.
"He's hiding something and we're going to find out what." Red told him.
"How?" Asked Purple.
"I'll let you know more after he sends us… his "plan."
"So what exact part do I play?" Asked Gaz causing Zim to jump.
"Were you there the whole time?" Zim asked her.
"Pretty much after I engaged hyper speed. The ships on auto." She told him
"Listen…" Zim told her. "…I had to tell them that you were a part of the plan as to avoid suspicion from the real plan.
"What's the real plan?" Gaz asked him.
"You know…" He answered. "…Figuring out why Zim is growing."
"And why can't you let them know that?" She asked.
"I will, but only after I discover it… Now let's hurry home…" He said as they both returned to the cockpit.
"You have a bigheaded brother to rescue and Zim must fabricate a fake plan that somehow crucially involves you."
"Wow!" Said Dib. "Your ship is a lot faster than Zim's." He said as they arrived at his house in record time.
"Yeah, his is… old." She said.
"Well, thanks for the ride home…" He said.
"Not going to invite me in?" She asked.
"What? Oh yeah sure…" He said as he opened the door for her.
She was still covered from head to toe so Dib still had no clue who she really was. However, she had offered him a faster ride home and he had a meeting with the Swollen Eyeball in about an hour that he would rather catch.
"Can I offer you a drink… or something?" He asked.
However, she simply went to the couch and sat down.
She signaled for him to sit next to her, so he did.
"I must confess… I've been sort of using you this whole time." She told him.
"Using me?" He asked.
"Yeah, to annoy your sister and thus throw her and Zim off. She was worried sick about you you know?"
"Gaz, worried about me?" He asked. "Wait? What did you do?"
"Nothing, I simply made it look like you may have been missing… more than once… so that it would throw her off her game." She confessed.
"What!? So… you were the reason why she seemed so…"
"Yup…" She said.
"All to annoy Zim?" He asked.
"For the most part. But I must admit I enjoyed it. Not just what it did to them… but it meant I got to spend more time with you." She said.
Dib was confused…
"Who are you?" He asked.
She stood up and faced him.
"Can I get anything for you sir?" Dib heard a robotic voice behind him causing to turn.
"A drink? Some food?" It asked.
"What are you doing here?" Dib wondered but soon got his answer as the robot's form began to change to one that Dib recognized instantly.
"Your…" He turned back to the still-masked event coordinator. "But that means…"
Screechhhhhh!* The voot came to a rough landing and Gaz ran out. Zim was just as quick but he headed down to his lab while she went out.
"Let me know if he's dead." Said Zim as he went down.
"Sure thing." Gaz replied as she ran home.
Upon reaching there she practically blew open the door and…
"Oh hey… congratulations Gaz!" Dib shouted as he ran and hugged his sister.
"Dib… what… you're here?" She asked.
"Yeah… my friend the coordinator took me home. Sorry for not telling you but I wanted to get back for a Swollen eyeball meeting." He told her.
Gaz looked around… there was no one.
"So, she dropped you off?" Asked Gaz.
"I told you…" He responded as he went to the fridge and got a soda for Gaz and himself. "…She's here doing some kind of study."
Gaz chugged the soda like there was no tomorrow. "I'm going to my room." She said feeling completely and utterly stupid for being concerned with her bigheaded brother… once again falling right into the coordinator's trap.
"Um Gaz…" Said Dib.
"What?" She asked annoyed.
"Thanks… for being concerned about me." He said.
Suddenly his sister launched herself at him. The two rolled for a bit, but stopped just short of the couch.
"Gaz!?" Dib asked. "What's going on?"
"You…" She said in one of the most threatening voices she ever had.
"…Are going to tell me everything…" She said.
"…Right now…"
Dib looked away. "I can't, I promised." Dib told her.
"It's okay…" Said a voice from behind causing Gaz to turn.
"Wasn't going to be long before she found out anyway."
"Really this is your plan?" Asked Red.
"One of many." Zim told him.
"Energy pods?" Asked Purple.
"Yes, most humans are incredibly lazy, but their bodies produce much energy that goes unused. The humans themselves would be trapped in a simulation the whole time and be completely unaware of what's really going on." He assured them.
"And what part of this plan is the human girl key to?" Asked Red.
"Well, I tested it on her brother and it failed so…" He said.
"So, it failed." Said Red.
"Yes… but more tests may show…"
"Okay, Zim keep at it." Said Red as he ended the call.
"Well, that got us nowhere." Said Purple.
"Did it?" Asked Red.
"Yes, it did." Purple answered.
"No…" Said Red. "…Computer pull up the feed."
Suddenly all the cameras at Zim's base showed up on the screen.
"See, the trace worked. All we had to do was have him initiate a call." Red told him.
"Now find that non-invader." Red ordered the A.I.
Suddenly a shot of Gir came on the screen. He was… rolling on the floor of Zim's living room.
"No, the irken!" Yelled Red.
"Finding… error… error…."
"What?" Asked Red.
"Error… system corru… error… feed lost."
"What? Get it back." Said Red.
"Unable the signal is gone." Replied the Computer.
"Get it back!" Purple shouted.
"Unable… Zim's computer is blocking all attempts."
"What? How? That computer is so old how can it be blocking you?" Asked Red.
"Checking… analyzing… error… error found."
"Well, what is it?" Asked Purple.
"Dodedodedooooooo… You didn't ask nicely." Suddenly a dancing Gir gif came on the screen.
"Dodedodedooooooo… You didn't ask nicely." It kept repeating.
"Isn't that the sir unit we made out of old junk?" Asked Purple.
"Yup…" Red answered.
"You know… I would be mad…" Purple told him.
"but dang…
we're good."
Thank you for all who made it to the end. Don't forget to leave a review.
