Summary: Feeling tired of Mira pestering him about Lisanna, Natsu decides to make up a little lie, to get her off his back.
Pairings: Natsu/Gray (In Mira's head), Brotherly Natsu/Gray, Mentions of Natsu/Lisanna (Once again in Mira's head), Natsu/Lucy, Gray/Juvia.
It was a regular old day in the Fairy Tail guild hall, people were drinking, eating and brawling without a care in the world.
Natsu was busy munching on some food like a madman, when Mira came up to him.
"So Natsu," She began, a smirk plastered on her face, "How are things with you and Lisanna?"
Natsu swallowed his food and turned to her with a raised eyebrow, "Eh? They're fine." He admitted, "We've just been catching up ever since she got back from Edolas."
Mira wiggled her eyebrows, a knowing look coming upon her face, "'Just catching up'? Or have you been doing more than that?"
Natsu immediately picked up on what she was talking about, he may have been dense about most things when it came to romance, but he wasn't dumb.
"Mira," He began with a sigh, "I told you me and Lisanna aren't like that. We're friends."
Mira giggled, "Oh, but I remember when you were kids and she said you were going to marry her."
Natsu scratched the back of his neck, "Yeah…..I mostly said yes, cause I thought marriage was a type of food." Mira fell down at that, but quickly picked herself back up.
"Okay…..but that doesn't mean you two can't start dating." She grinned at him, "If you want, I can set up some alone time for you two."
Natsu groaned burying his face in his hands, Mira was relentless. Despite both him and Lisanna assuring her that nothing was going on between them, she still tried to set them up.
Then an idea, came to him….granted it was a crazy and mostly stupid idea, but it was an idea none the less.
"Um….you shouldn't do that Mira." He told her looking nervous, while she looked confused, "Why not Natsu?"
He gulped, this was either going to work really well or backfire hard in his face.
"Because…because I'm gay." He said quietly.
Mira's eyes widened and her hands flew to her mouth, "Oh my," She suddenly looked troubled, "I'm so sorry Natsu! If I had known, I wouldn't have-" She tried to continue but he interrupted.
"It's fine. You didn't know." He told her.
"So who're you interested in then?" She asked with a curious look, "Gajeel? Laxus? Freed? Bickslow?"
Natsu grimaced and had to stop himself from puking, even if he was gay, he'd never pick any of those guys!
He's not that desperate.
"Uh….." He tried to tell her, but couldn't find the words, then suddenly he saw someone. While they weren't ideal, they were better than the rest.
"It's Gray."
Mira gave out a shocked gasp and then a knowing look crossed her face. "Ah! I should've known! There was always something going on between you two."
Once again, he had to remind himself to not throw up.
She then gave him a warm look, "Don't worry Natsu, I'll help you confess."
"Wait what?"
He didn't get to question her as Mira zoomed up to Gray with a mission in her hands (Hang on, when'd she grab that?).
"Oh Gray~~" She sang out to the Ice wizard, who of course was in his boxers.
"Yo Mira, what's up?" He asked.
"First of all, your clothes." She pointed out and Gray cursed when he realized he stripped.
"Second of all, I found this nice mission for both you and Natsu to take." She held up the piece of paper containing the mission, before turning back to Natsu and giving him a wink (Why wasn't Erza here to kill him? Things would be so much better).
"It'll probably take a few days, but that'll give you and Natsu some proper alone time." She said that last part in a weird flirtatious manner.
Gray raised an eyebrow and glanced over at the flamebrain and saw him sulking with his face in his hands. Being childhood friends with the moron, he was able to tell when Natsu did or said something stupid and was now facing the consequences.
Now was definitely one of those times.
"Alright Mira," Gray said, taking the mission, "I've been getting kind of bored anyway, hopefully this'll be fun, even if I have to carry Pyro's ass the whole time."
"Oh I'm sure you'll do more than that~~~" She giggled.
Gray spluttered and nearly fell over at that. He was definitely going to find out what sort of bullcrap Natsu told Mira.
Speaking of the dragon slayer, he slowly trudged from the bar and made his way over to Gray.
"Listen man, I-"
"We'll talk outside." Gray said through clenched teeth, as both boys walked as Mira looked at them with a smile.
"Ah…..they grow up so fast."

A few days later, Gray and Natsu had returned home from the mission they went on. It wasn't hard or anything but, it was annoying as hell. There were a crap ton of dark mages all constantly popping up to attack this one village.
Still it was entertaining as hell and Gray also found out what exactly Natsu told Mira.
"I still can't believe you told her you were gay and in love with me." The Ice mage said, cringing just saying those words.
"I know, I know." Natsu groaned, "I panicked okay! She had been on my ass trying to hook me up with Lisanna, no matter how many times I said I wasn't interested. I thought telling her I like dudes would make her stop."
"You better come clean, ash head. Cause I am not pretending to be your boyfriend forever."
Natsu paled, "No way man! Mira will kill me! You know she doesn't play when it comes to romance."
Gray smirked, "Sounds like a you problem."
Natsu growled, "Even if I was gay, there's no way in hell I'd pick a pervert like you."
"What'd you say jackass?"
"You heard me, Ice dick!"
"You wanna go Flame Brain!"
"Bring it, Ice queen!"
"Awwww! Look at you two, having a lover's spat already." Mira's voice came and soon enough, Natsu and Gray had realized they were back in the guild.
Also a lot of eyes were on them with knowing grins.
"Shit/Fuck." Gray and Natsu cursed respectively.
"So how'd the mission go? You two had fun?" Macao asked with a lecherous grin.
Gray, decided to ignore the guy, as he knew Macao mostly wanted to know if they did anything inappropriate.
Natsu on the other hand was too dense or stupid to pick up on that.
"Yeah, it was pretty cool! At one point, Gray and I ended up getting all down and dirty." Natsu said, referring to when they decided to finish off the last few dark mages without magic.
Macao, let out a laugh and Cana grinned perversely, "Oh my, don't tell me you two destroyed the bedroom."
Natsu tilted his head confused, "What do you mean? Of course we did!" He said with a grin, of course talking about an actual fight between the two that broke out for stupid reasons.
"Gray tried to stab me with his big Ice sword, but he missed and I pounded him into the grou-OMPH.
Gray, whose face was bright red in embarrassment had cracked Natsu over the head, "Natsu. Shut. Up." He hissed.
"Ow! That hurt, you asshole!" He whined.
"Bet Gray's asshole is definitely hurting." Wakaba laughed, before lighting a cigarette.
Gray immediately froze him and Macao, too embarrassed and angry to care.
He didn't bother with Cana, as the drunk was passed out with large nosebleed.
It was then he began to notice something weird, "Huh? Juvia's usually all over me by now."
Natsu still rubbing his head, couldn't help but agree, "Yeah, also Lucy always greets me back and asks me how the mission went."
The fire and ice wizards then turned their gaze from the bar and their jaws dropped.
Lucy and Juvia, were downing mug, after mug of beer, it was pretty surprising, seeing as those two didn't drink much.
"Um….Lucy…..Juvia? You guys okay?" Natsu asked.
Both women immediately turned around with their cheeks flushed and fixed the boys with a harsh glare. Though Juvia's was directed at Natsu and Lucy's was directed at Gray.
"Uh…..guys?" Gray questioned, a tad bit nervous.
With only a hiccup, both women got up and walked over to the boys, though Lucy went up to Gray and Juvia went up to Natsu.
Before they could open their mouth, Lucy was the first to speak up.
"LUCY KICK!"
Gray was sent flying and crashed into a nearby table, groaning in pain.
Natsu couldn't help but laugh at that, despite not knowing why Lucy had kicked Gray, it was still pretty funny.
Too bad the fun didn't last long.
"WATER CLAW!"
Natsu was sent flying and crashed into a table right next to Gray, groaning in pain.
Lucy turned to Juvia, still drunk but Furious, "Who *Hiccup* the hell gave you permission to hit Natsu?!"
"*Hiccup* Juvia could ask you the same, *Hiccup* you kicked her precious Gray-Sama!" Juvia growled out.
"Only because *Hiccup* he took my Natsu!"
"Well Natsu, took Juvia's *Hiccup* Gray-Sama!"
By now both women were super close to each other, their breasts pressing together.
Meanwhile Natsu and Gray were now recovering, "Man….Lucy kicks hard." Gray groaned, "How do you survive that?" He asked Natsu.
Natsu groaned, getting up, "Experience and durability."
Lucy then walked up to him and roughly grabbed his arm. "Come on Natsu! We're leaving!" She growled, dragging him out of the guild.
"Gah! Wait, Lucy! Hold on!" He shouted trying to free himself from her iron grip.
Getting annoyed, Lucy growled, turned around, grabbed his scarf, yanked it down and kissed him…..passionately.
Everyone's eyes widened at this and jaws were dropped, though Mira couldn't help but squeal and shout something about 'Ships' and being 'Canon'.
When the kiss was broken, Natsu was pulled back, his cheeks flushed and he was breathless.
Lucy looked him over with a predatory gaze and he shivered, he wasn't used to Lucy looking at him like that.
She then grabbed his scarf again, "Come on, let's head back to my place."
"O-Okay…." Natsu mumbled out, following her.
Gray who looked at the scene in shock, stiffened when he felt Juvia's gaze on him.
She wasn't looking at him with her typical love sick expression, no, this time she was eyeing him like a piece of meat. She even licked her lips and Gray's breath caught in his throat.
"Oh Gray-Sama~~" She cooed, straddling him, "It seems Juvia needs to show you who you really belong to."
"J-Juvia…." He gulped, suddenly feeling small under her desire fuelled gaze.
Everyone instantly looked away, not bothering with Gray and his problems.
Gray was definitely going to kill Natsu for this….if he survived.
