Volume IV: Planet of the Symbiotes Part II

This will be the twenty-fourth chapter of Volume IV and the Part II of the three part story, Carlton Drake finally got the coordinates on Grendel's location on the moon, he arraign for a shuttle to transport Carnage, Riot, and Scream into space to the moon itself, there they'll come across Grendel itself still frozen in ice for years, they're in the process of reviving Grendel back, Carnage connects with the creature through the hive-mind as he soon come across a dark entity with a deep connection to the symbiotes, this entity has big plans for the Earth that differs from Carlton Drake's plans as he makes Carnage act on his behalf, sent Grendel to Earth, Carnage was gifted with even more power, transforming him into Dark Carnage. At the same time, Peter and Gwen's wedding occurred down on Earth, so many of their friends and families are together in one place as the young couple are about to tie the knot, that is until the Symbiote Invasion finally came to New York City, Grendel finally made it to Earth and started spawning seeds onto the city, creating many symbiotes to bond with humans, the Web-Warriors are in for a fight of their lives as they're spread pretty thin, trying to save many lives, but they're outnumbered as S.H.I.E.L.D. stepped in and aided the heroes in containing the situation, coming to help out are Ms. Marvel and Wolverine, both of them team up with Spider-Man in his fight against the symbiotes. Everyone is holding off the invasion as best as they can until the Avengers come, but it'll prove to be difficult as the symbiote's numbers are growing in strength, they even claimed one of the Web-Warriors. Eddie Brock is still assisting the heroes in figuring out who's behind all this, he finally was able to ID the two people who stole his symbiote, that lead to the Life Foundation and Carlton Drake as the mastermind of this symbiote invasion, Spider-Man confronts Mr. Drake on his actions in bringing symbiosis to the world, but to Spidey's surprise he found the Venom symbiote here and took it with him back to the city, even bonded with it again until he came across something dark through the hive-mind. The entire city is being turned into a hive as the symbiotes are growing in power, everything changed as Carnage was ordered by the dark entity to destroy the host who took one of the symbiotes, this'll put Spider-Man in his crosshairs as they come after him to take his life.

It's June 13th, time is 10:14 PM at the Life Foundation Headquarters as Carlton Drake is on the phone making the arraignments with the launch site in California, his scientists working on a suborbital flight path from Earth to the Moon itself, including the selenographic coordinates of where Grendel is, meanwhile Cletus Kasady is sitting on the desk and eating chips while Trevor Cole and Donna Diego are waiting to get the go ahead from their boss, Carlton Drake finished the arraignments and hangs up the call, one of the scientist hands him a thumb drive, he walks towards the three as he hands the drive to Donna Diego, she took it.

"Well boss?" Trevor Cole said.

"It's all set, the drive has all the flight paths and selenographic coordinates, everything you'll need to travel to the moon itself." Carlton Drake said.

"Ah..." Cletus Kasady raised his hand.

"Yes Mr. Kasady." Carlton Drake said.

"So we're all going in a shuttle?" Cletus Kasady said.

"That's correct Mr. Kasady." Carlton Drake said.

"Exactly who's gonna fly the bird?" Cletus Kasady said.

"Ms. Diego will pilot the shuttle, she was an Air Force pilot who applied for NASA several times." Carlton Drake said.

"Though I got rejected several times for psychiactric reasons, but I can still fly a shuttle nevertheless." Donna Diego said.

"The jet waiting on the airfield, ready to take all three of you to our launch facility in California, there's a shuttle all fueled up and ready for take off. So it's time to take your leave immediately, you're all going to the moon." Carlton Drake said.

Cletus Kasady chuckles. "We're about to wake up a very big dragon!"

"Exactly, once Grendel has been awaken, you'll uses your symbiotes to bond with the creature, convince it to fly down to Earth, once it makes it down to the planet it shall unleash enough symbiotes for the world, for everyone to undergo symbiosis." Carlton Drake said.

Cletus Kasady chuckles. "Sounds like a party!"

"The shuttle is waiting, time to go change the world." Carlton Drake said.

Donna, Trevor, and Kasady are all taking their leave making a trip to California where a shuttle is waiting to take all three of them into space, to the moon itself, Carlton Drake's dream for the world will soon become a reality, symbiotes are coming to the Earth very soon.

It's 10:42 PM at the Triskelion, the Web-Warriors are still here along with Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Phil Coulson as they're in contact with the Avengers who are overseas on the mission, Captain America is on the holoscreen who's in the Arctic being informed on the situation concerning a possible threat involving the symbiotes.

"Captain Rogers, how was the mission in the Arctic?" Nick Fury said.

"It was a success, we've taken down the Elementals.." Captain America said.

"Those guys again? I thought the West Coast team had them in custody?" Peter looked surprised.

"They did, but they escaped and still want to claim Earth for themselves, apparently Hellfire was attempting to melt the polar ice caps to flood the planet... though I have to admit, being out here in the cold, brings back old memories." Captain America feeling uneasy being in the Arctic.

"Oh right... the whole 'frozen in ice' thing for over..." Miles said.

Miles stopped talking as everyone is giving him the look upon speaking on the subject on Captain America being frozen in ice for years.

"Oh... sorry." Miles apologize.

"It's fine, it's no secret, I'm over it... mostly... anyway, what did you really want to speak about? I take it this isn't a courtesy call." Captain America said.

"No, we have a situation that requires the Avengers immediate intervention." Nick Fury said.

"It must be really big if you're calling the Avengers... be straight with me Director Fury, how bad is it?" Captain America said.

"We have to be prepared for the worst, and trust me when I say this, the worst is definitely coming." Nick Fury said.

"What exactly are we up against?" Captain America said.

"Symbiotes, they're alien life-forms capable of bonding with hosts and gifting those hosts with even greater power, but also influencing the hosts to the point of overtaking control of the hosts." Peter explains.

"You seem to know too much about these aliens, son." Captain America said.

"I use to be bond to one of them, years ago I came across one and it bond to me in a form of a suit, it made me stronger but it was influencing my mind and not in a good way. But now we found out that there's a symbiote dragon on the moon itself and the three symbiotes knows exactly where it is." Peter said.

"If they get to the moon and revive Grendel, then we could have a symbiote invasion on our hands." Nick Fury said.

"You're saying there's gonna be more of them?" Captain America said.

"Lot's more, enough to overtake the planet, this is considered to be an Avenger-level alert. We need your team back as soon as possible, I'll also contact the West Coast team and have them be on alert, we're also need every Avenger for this." Nick Fury said.

"I understand Director, I'll have my team head back to New York right away." Captain America said.

"Okay, what do we do in the meantime?" Peter said.

"Go home, get some rest, and be ready." Captain America said.

"For what?" Peter said.

"It's called a wedding, son." Captain America said.

Peter and Gwen looked at one another as they forgot about the wedding with everything going on.

"It can wait." Peter said.

"No, it can't wait, you both been planning this day for months, you both need to focus on the wedding tomorrow." Captain America said.

"Cap..." Peter said.

"Son listen to me, you've risked your life for the world more than once, this time choose yourself and Gwen, you both deserve each other... We've already got enough members to deal with this, we'll handle it." Captain America encourages.

"Cap, are you sure?" Peter said.

"Go, we got this, just focus on your future tomorrow, both of you... the Avengers has got this. Do you trust us, son?" Captain America said.

Peter nods his head. "Always... thank you Cap."

"Okay, then we're in agreement, the Avengers will focus on finding the three symbiotes before they put their plans into action." Nick Fury said.

"How exactly are the symbiotes gonna heading into space?" Captain America said.

"There's only one way, they need a space shuttle along with rocket boosters in order to launch into space." Nick Fury said.

"And there's only one place where they can get their hands on the shuttle, at the NASA launch site in Cape Canaveral, Florida." Maria Hill said.

"Cap, I'll need your team to head for Florida and secure the shuttles, we'll contact NASA and make sure all launch missions are suspended for the time being." Nick Fury said.

"Understood Director, we'll head for Florida... Good luck on the wedding, you two... Captain America signing out." Captain America said.

"Agent Hill, get in touch with NASA immediately." Nick Fury said.

"On it." Maria Hill said.

"Coulson, contact Stark and tell him we request a special order, one huge order." Nick Fury said.

"I can do that." Phil Coulson said.

"In the meantime, you all should head home, I doubt these symbiotes are gonna start trouble anytime soon. So head on home and if anything occurs, we'll give you a call." Nick Fury said.

"I understand... good luck." Peter said.

"And may God help us all." Nick Fury said.

The Web-Warriors take their leave after letting the Avengers carry on their mission as Peter and Gwen are focusing on tomorrow's wedding, all of S.H.I.E.L.D. are working overtime to lockdown any space travel and to find the symbiotes before it's too late.

Later it's 11:43 PM in the apartment in Lower East Side, inside the bathroom is Gwen Stacy taking a shower alone, inside the bedroom is Peter Parker all shirtless wearing only sweatpants as he's on the phone with someone, back in the bathroom Gwen is shutting off the water and reached out her hand for a towel, back in the bedroom Peter finished talking and hanging up the call as Gwen came in with a towel wrapped around her body, she walks up to the close and opens it up, she undid her towel, standing naked about to dress herself up for sleep as Peter took a good look.

"Who was that?" Gwen looking back at Peter while putting on her panties.

"That was Eddie, apparently he's gonna spend the night at Anne's house." Peter said.

Gwen is putting on the nightgown. "That's nice, he still has someone who cares for him. From the way he talks about her, she must be someone special."

"You think so?" Peter said.

"I know so, call it women's intuition." Gwen finished dressing up.

Peter smile until he sighs upon thinking about other things as this caught Gwen's attention.

"What is it, Pete?" Gwen is curious.

"Are we doing the right thing?" Peter said.

"What do you mean?" Gwen said.

"Letting the Avengers handle this whole symbiote thing without us. You saw Nick Fury and how spooked he was about Grendel, I've known the man and I've never seen him spooked like that before, and I mean ever." Peter is concerned.

"You're thinking we should get involved, don't you?" Gwen suspected.

"If this Grendel threat is as real as Fury described it, we may not have a choice, we already know how dangerous the symbiotes are, imagine if there are more of them on this planet, enough to overthrow humanity along with any life form on this planet... and the only thing we have to worry about is our wedding tomorrow while our friends are risking their lives saving the world... so yeah, I have to ask... are we doing the right thing?" Peter being doubtful and worried.

Peter is sitting down on the bed still remaining doubtful in his choices, Gwen walks up and sits next to him for support.

"Pete... Captain America asked you to trust him, trust the Avengers... did you mean it?" Gwen said.

"I do... I trust them with my life." Peter said.

"Then put your faith in them, just like they had faith in you." Gwen smile.

"What would I ever do without you, Gwendy?" Peter smile.

Peter and Gwen leans in closer and kisses each other.

"Get use to it, cause I plan to make you very happy for a long time, and it all starts tomorrow." Gwen flirts.

"Tomorrow... that'll be the day, for us." Peter smile.

"Maybe Cap is right, we should think about ourselves for once, focusing on our future together in marriage." Gwen said.

"As husband and wife." Peter smile.

"As husband and wife." Gwen smile.

"Well... we should call it a night, we gotta be up and early, so much to do." Peter said.

"So... we're sleeping apart tonight?" Gwen said.

"Yeah, since Eddie is staying at another place, the other room is vacant for the night. I'm gonna go crash... goodnight Gwendy." Peter smile.

"Goodnight Pete." Gwen smile.

Peter left the room and waves back to his fiancé as she waved back, he close the door and heads to the other room to crash there for the night, Peter and Gwen are both sleeping in separate rooms, tomorrow is a big day for both of them, tomorrow they're about to be joined in holy matrimony.

It's June 14th, time is 3:56 AM at the Life Foundation Private Launch Site in the Mojave Desert of California, a Life Foundation Shuttle attached to the boosters are all fueled up and ready for launch, the entire launch mission is being observe back in New York City by Carlton Drake himself as he doesn't want to miss this event, coming onto the platform are Cletus Kasady, Trevor Cole, and Donna Diego in Life Foundation astronaut suits as walking towards the shuttle. All three of them entered the shuttle as the personal outside are sealing the hatch tight, the three made it to the cockpit and took their seats, strapping down tight, Donna Diego is taking the controls with Trevor Cole riding shotgun.

"So... you really know how to fly this thing?" Trevor Cole said.

"Of course, after I joined the Life Foundation, I was given the opportunity to undergo simulations, help test out their shuttle, so I'm overqualified to fly this bird. So relax and enjoy the trip, I'll get you both to the moon in one piece." Donna Diego said.

Cletus Kasady chuckles. "Oh goodie, can't wait to wake the dragon, we're gonna bring Maximum Carnage to the planet!"

"This is mission control, T-minus five minutes til launch. Patching through to Carlton Drake, he wants to speak."

"Gentlemen, you're about to make history, making another step for mankind, only this time you're about to bring symbiotes to the Earth, enough to create a new world, everyone is gonna thank us for what we're about to do... Good luck to you all, have a safe trip." Carlton Drake said.

Mission Control is running diagnostic on the shuttle making sure everything is all green for launch, about five minutes later the shuttle all ready for launch as the crew inside are strapped down and waiting to travel into space.

"This is mission control, T-minus 10 seconds... 10... 9... 8...7... 6..."

The crew brace themselves as they're about to launch into space.

"5... 4... 3... 2... 1."

The boosters are fired up and launching the shuttle from ground.

"We have liftoff!"

The shuttle left the launch site and is heading up towards the atmosphere as the crew inside are feeling the vibration the shuttle is giving off, the shuttle eventually went past the atmosphere and made it into space. The shuttle break off the boosters and fires up it's thrusters flying around in space, inside the shuttle Donna Diego is piloting the craft and she's following the flight path given to her by the Life Foundation to fly towards the moon itself, Cletus Kasady spotted the moon in view as he smiles upon getting there and awakening the symbiote dragon rest on the surface, they're so close to bringing Carlton Drake's dream to the world.

It's 11:45 AM at the apartment in Chelsea, Peter Parker is standing in front of the mirror all dressed up in black tux with a white flower on the left chest making a bowtie around his neck, he's still having trouble making it as his best man Harry Osborn noticed it, he too is all dressed in a tux and he's worried for his best friend looking all nervous.

"Seriously Pete, you've at it for almost half an hour." Harry said.

"Sorry, it's only hours til the wedding and I'm already feeling nervous, wedding jitters and all." Peter still tying up.

Harry sighs. "Fine... stay still, I got this."

Harry walks up in front of Peter and helps him tie up the bowtie.

Harry still fixing it up. "Still feeling nervous."

"Very." Peter admits.

Harry finished tying it up tight. "Don't be, all you have to do is just stand at the altar, listening to priest speak the sermon, and speak your vows and say I do, but most important thing of all, better pray nobody says 'I object.'"

Peter chuckles. "You had to say it, didn't you?"

Harry smile. "Couldn't' resist... You're gonna be find Pete, you're about to marry the love of your life."

"At least tell me you still got the rings with you?" Peter said.

Harry patted his pockets. "Yeah, as I told you a hundredth time."

Peter smile. "Can't believe this day has finally come, the only thing I could focus on is my future beside Gwen."

"Don't be so surprise, everyone knew that you two were always endgame. A lot of our closest friends are here to witness this, and I'll be right beside you for support in case you still get nervous." Harry said.

"Thanks Man." Peter said.

"Though my dad isn't gonna be there unfortunately, he's away attending a liquidation auction overseas, apparently it's a very huge opportunity for Oscorp that he couldn't miss out." Harry said.

"It's fine, it's enough that you're here, I couldn't picked a better man to be my best man than my best friend." Peter said.

"Thanks Pete... means a lot." Harry smile.

"You're not just my best friend, you've been like a brother." Peter said.

"I feel the same... okay, enough getting sappy, we should get ready, I'll call for the limo to come pick us up." Harry said.

Harry takes his leave as Peter is standing alone looking himself in the mirror fully dressed and ready to marry the love of his life.

(Upper West Side)

Around the same time in Upper West Side at the apartment of Mary Jane Watson, Gwen Stacy is in the bathroom wearing only a white strapless corset lingerie and applying perfume onto her skin that gives off a scent of white roses. A few minutes later she's all dressed up in her wedding dress being helped by her maid of honor Mary Jane tightening the dress up.

"There... that should do it." Mary Jane finished up.

Gwen Stacy is standing before the mirror looking at herself all dressed in a strapless white wedding dress personally designed by Janet Van Dyne herself months ago, she looks all lovely and divine.

"Well... how do I look?" Gwen asking for an opinion.

Mary Jane nodded her head with a smile. "Very divine!"

Gwen smile. "This is really happening, isn't it?"

"It is, this the day you've been waiting for, in a few hours you're about to marry the man you love." Mary Jane smile.

Mary Jane smile until she sighs and thinks about seeing her best friend marrying the love of her life, who happens to be the man Mary Jane's loves and it still gets to her sometimes as Gwen noticed it.

"MJ... are you..." Gwen is worried.

"Don't worry about me, I'm fine... it's just... I envy you, what you and Peter have together... I hope to have that one day." Mary Jane confessed.

Gwen smile warmly. "You will, you're an amazing woman Mary Jane, I know that someday you'll be with someone and that someone will be very lucky having you by his side."

"Thank you... for now, this your day, I wish you and Pete the very best, you both deserve to have a great life together, make him happy for a long time." Mary Jane said.

Gwen smile. "I plan to."

Mary Jane gets a call on her phone as its Harry Osborn calling. "Excuse me, I gotta take this."

"Sure, take your time." Gwen said.

Mary Jane excused herself from the room to take the call, Gwen is standing all alone looking herself in the mirror, her phone just got a text, she went over to pick it up to see it's from Felicia Hardy, she reads "Congratulations!", Gwen smile upon one of her dearest friends gave her a congratulations message, all of a sudden the door was knocking and it caught her attention.

"Yes?!" Gwen calling out.

"It's me, Arthur! Are you still getting fixed up?!" Arthur speaking from outside.

"No, I'm all dressed up, you can come in!" Gwen said.

Arthur Stacy opens up to find his niece Gwen all lovely in a wedding dress.

"Wow... you look absolutely stunning." Arthur Stacy is amazed.

"Thanks." Gwen smile.

"Can't believe it, this day finally came... you're about to marry the love of your life... your dad would've so proud." Arthur Stacy is happy.

"Thank you for being here, about to hand me off to the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, it means so much to me." Gwen smile.

"Of course, and... I'm proud of you too." Arthur Stacy said.

Gwen hugs her uncle Arthur feeling pretty happy, Mary Jane came by the room.

"That was Harry, he and Pete are on their way to the Cathedral, he's already arraigned a limo to come pick us up." Mary Jane said.

"Well... we should get going, your wedding awaits you." Arthur Stacy said.

"Let's go." Gwen smile.

Around the same time above the Earth just out in space, on the moon itself, the Life Foundation shuttle managed to land itself on the surface as the three symbiotes are venturing around without any suit as the aliens can survive the vacuum of space, they're passing by the Lunar Module Eagle still here for more than 50 years, they're bringing in tools and still continuing their journey across the surface until they came across something that's been here long before man ever made it to the moon, they're all stunned upon gazing at the symbiote dragon Grendel still frozen in ice after all these years, all frozen up and unable to move.

Carnage chuckles. "Oh my... there she is, isn't she a beauty?!"

Riot chuckles. "Agreed brother."

"Well..." Scream bringing the plasma drill. "We got some drilling to do."

"Right... time to wake the dragon!" Carnage smile.

The three symbiotes all got started on drilling as there are so many layers of ice surrounding Grendel, keeping him in suspended animation for more than a thousand years, they're breaking apart the ice piece by pieces as this process is taking a couple of hours, but they're refusing to give up as they've managed to strip away many layers of ice from the creature until all the ice is completely gone.

(Two Hours later)

After many hours drilling, the symbiotes just finished stripping away all the ice from the symbiote dragon, but Grendel still remains asleep as the symbiote don't know what to do.

"Okay, we've took away the ice, now what?" Scream said.

"Now time to wake the big scary dragon!" Carnage approaches Grendel still asleep. "Wakey-wakey, Grendel!"

Grendel still remains asleep as the symbiotes are starting to breakdown.

"Great! That fool Drake sent us all the way up here for nothing! We can't even awaken this damn beast!" Riot is pissed.

"Just calm down brother!" Scream is feeling annoyed.

"Don't tell me to calm down, sister!" Riot still ticked off.

Riot and Scream are growling at one another as emotions are very high right now, Carnage continues staring at the dragon as he can feel something very dark reaching out to his mind, but he's still hears his siblings bickers at one another.

"QUIET..." Carnage yells.

Riot and Scream stopped bickering as they see their brother Carnage is walking up closer to Grendel as this dark feeling is too strong for him to turn away, he reached out his hand and touch Grendel's mass, Carnage is then instantly connected to the creature and enters into a mental ream.

(Symbiote Hive-Mind)

Carnage has entered a mental and metaphysical realm that is all dark in so many ways, it's all red and black as Carnage felt like he's way outside his body and far away from the Moon and Earth, this realm takes him to a place very far away on a planet that has a deeper meaning to the symbiotes, trapped inside the planet itself is a prison where a dark entity remains trapped for all eternity, this dark entity is sitting on what appears to be a dark throne as it finally made contact with Carnage through what is called a Symbiote Hive-Mind. Carnage can't get a good view on this entity, just a black silhouette with red eyes and a red symbiote dragon symbol on his chest, whoever this entity is seems to have a deep connection to the symbiotes.

"Who dares enter my realms?!"

"Whoa... who and what are you?!" Carnage is curious.

"I am pure darkness itself... I am the King... I am God to all Symbiotes!"

"A god!" Carnage said.

"Yes, and you and many others are my children, all symbiotes are my creations and every hosts are subjects of my will! And who are you?!"

"I am... Carnage." Carnage introduce himself.

"Well Carnage... you belong to me now!"

"I belong to no one!" Carnage won't be controlled.

This entity uses his powers to overwhelm Carnage's will as the host is having trouble fighting back against him and screams in agony.

"Like I said, every symbiote and their hosts are subjects of my will, you belong to me, you will submit to me... is that understood?!"

Carnage screams in agony. "Yes!"

"Yes... what?!"

"Yes... I belong to you!" Carnage screams.

This entity stopped hurting Carnage as the symbiote submits to it.

"Ah yes, I can feel the darkness within you and your host, it's so deep... you're perfect... you're shall be the one!"

"The one? For what?" Carnage is confused.

"You shall be my emissary, my hand, my will, you shall continue what I started."

"And what is that exactly?" Carnage is more confused.

"A long, long time ago, since the beginning of time I once ruled over a great kingdom of great darkness with my symbiote minions, I had this ambition of expanding my kingdom into a empire, I wanted to rule over all life in the universe, shrouding it in eternal darkness, but then the Celestials intervened, took away my kingdom... so I retaliated and served the head of a Celestial, but even I wasn't a match for all of them and I wasn't easy to destroy, the Celestials overpowered me, had me in-prisoned in my own world for all eternity... but now, you're here in my realm, I have an important task for you."

"I'm listening." Carnage said.

"You've found my creation, you have the means to create more symbiotes to engulf the entire world, but that is only the beginning. This prison the Celestials put me in will soon lose it's power and I shall be free to continue what I started all those years ago, I plan to engulf the entire universe in eternal darkness until there's no light to shine, but before all that, I need a new world to rule, to rebuild my kingdom and this planet Earth shall do great, and that's where you come in, Carnage."

"What must I do?" Carnage said.

"I shall give you control over my creation and it shall gift you with tremendous powers beyond what you're capable of... you shall act on my behalf and make preparation for my return by invading the Earth, creating enough symbiotes to take over the planet, soon it shall become my planet of the symbiotes... So tell Carnage... are you in... or are you out?"

Carnage chuckles. "Oh yeah, I'm in!"

"Excellent! Then let us begin!"

This dark entity is transferring some of his powers to Carnage as the symbiote can feel it, so much darkness more than he can imagine.

(The Moon)

Back on the moon, Carnage still has his hand on Grendel as Riot and Scream has no idea what's going on with him, but all of a sudden Grendel has finally woken up and caught them by surprise as it's moving and standing up, Carnage still got his hand as Grendel is pulling him into his body.

"Brother!" Riot screams.

Grendel is standing up as Carnage is inside the beast, undergoing a change all courtesy of his alliance with this dark god, being gifted with more power than ever before.

It's 1:51 PM back on Earth, in New York City at St. Patrick's Cathedral as a number of guests are attending the wedding of Peter Parker & Gwen Stacy, Peter is at the door welcoming guests, among them is Anna Maria Marconi who came all the way from Culver University and is being greeted by Peter.

"Anna Maria, glad you made it." Peter said.

"Couldn't miss this, Slick." Anna Maria smile.

Anna Maria enters the church as coming is Mayor J Jonah Jameson and his plus one Dr. Marla Madison.

"Mayor Jameson, so glad you can make it, I'd figured you're too busy running the city to make time." Peter said.

"Still being a wiseass I see... congratulations Parker, you remember Dr. Madison right?" Jameson said.

"How could I forget, thank you for coming Dr. Madison." Peter said.

"It's a pleasure, and please it's just Marla." Marla Madison said.

"Sure thing Marla... oh, by the way, your son is already here and he's brought a date." Peter said.

"John's here?" Jameson said.

"Yeah, he's just inside." Peter said.

Jameson enters the church as there's so many people here, he spotted John in the company of a black hair woman.

"John!" Jameson smiles and waves as he's calling out.

Jameson and Marla are coming up to John Jameson as he turns around along with his date who is none other than Dr. Ashley Kafka.

"Ashley?" Marla looks surprised.

"Marla?" Ashley is also surprised.

"John, I didn't know you were bring Dr. Kafka as your date." Jameson is surprised.

"Yeah, I figured after what happened at Ravencroft, I'd ask Ashley to come as my plus one, you know to help cheer her up." John Jameson said.

"That's very nice of you *sighs* well, I guess the two doctors here are going out with a Jameson." Marla Madison smile.

"Ah..." John feeling shy.

"We're not an item." Ashley is also shy.

"What she said." John said.

John, Ashley are continuing their conversations with Marla and Jonah, meanwhile sitting together at the left sides are the young teen couples, Miles and Tiana, Anya and Sam, Ganke and Danika, all are dressed greatly for this wedding.

"Wow, your friends really went all out on this." Tiana said

"They had months to plan all this, perfect place, perfect dress, perfect time." Miles said.

Coming in are Miles's parent Jefferson Davis and Rio Morales as they spotted their son sitting with his girlfriend along with his friends.

"Miles!" Jefferson Davis calling out.

Miles gets up to see his parents are here.

"Mom, Dad." Miles smile.

Rio came up and hugs her son. "Hijo, I see you're here already."

"Wouldn't miss this, how's my brother?" Miles asking bout the baby.

"You mean your sister, she's a girl." Rio confirmed the baby's gender.

"Really? Are you sure? Are ultrasounds even accurate?" Miles said.

"Yes Miles, it's been confirmed, it's a girl." Jeff smile.

"What's wrong with having a sister?" Tiana said.

"Nothing, I think it's great." Miles said.

"Anya!" Kate's voice.

Anya gets up and spotted Kate Bishop here in a purple dress.

"Kate, hey! Long time!" Anya smile.

"Sure has!" Kate Bishop said.

"You guys remember Kate Bishop right?" Anya said.

"Yeah, last year, class of '24." Miles said.

"Good seeing again Kate." Ganke Lee said.

Katie is chatting with some old friends as coming in is Gilberto Corazon as he spotted his daughter Anya with her friends, she spotted her dad and waved to him, he waved back before walking to a seat and sits with his boss Barney Bushkin of the Daily Globe, they shake hands. Coming in and sitting together are Betty Brant and Ned Leeds as they're sitting among some old friends from Midtown High consisting of Flash Thompson, Liz Allan, Glory Grant, Randy Robertson, Kenny Kong, Jason Ionello, and Sally Avril. Coming in are Robbie Robertson and his wife as they're joining the Jamesons sitting with their date, here as well is Captain Yuri Watanabe. Here are Dr. Curt Connors with his wife Martha and son Billy as they're sitting down with Professor Raymond Warren.

"Raymond, it's been a while." Dr. Connors said.

"Sure has, I just heard back from my brother, he told me that you've contacted him last week." Raymond Warren said.

"I did, I told him that I'm moving to Florida next month and I asked him if he wanted to take my place here, I haven't gotten a reply yet." Dr. Connors said.

"Lucky for you, he told that he's accepting moving here to New York, he's gonna take the job at ESU." Raymond Warren said.

"That's wonderful news, I'm sure Professor Miles Warren will do the science department proud." Dr. Connors is grateful.

Dr. Connors and Raymond Warren discussing how his brother Miles Warren will take Connor's place at ESU, meanwhile May Parker is sitting in front with her best friend Anna Watson as she's still waiting to witness her nephew marrying the love of his life, at the altar is Judge Spence Watson who's been picked to officiate the wedding.

"It's very nice of your brother to officiate the wedding." May said.

"Yeah... though to be honest May, I always thought that it would be for the day when Peter and Mary Jane would get married, didn't expect it would be under different circumstances." Anna Watson confessed.

"You're not the only one, I always thought that your niece would've been perfect for Peter, I did have my hopes for them." May said.

"I was happy to learn they kissed." Anna Watson smile.

"So did I... but I guess it wasn't meant to be, but I'm glad Peter got to find true love on his own, I'm so happy for him. I know Ben would be so happy too." May smile.

Peter is walking up to the right side of the altar and take his place alongside with his best man Harry, waiting for the wedding to begin as he's still feeling a bit nervous as it's only minutes away.

"Just relax Pete, you got this." Harry said.

"I know, it's just only a few minutes and still getting the jitters." Peter said.

"This is very normal, but just relax and be patient, this day will turn out okay." Spencer Watson said.

Peter is still waiting and remaining calm, fighting the jitters with everything he's got, coming down towards the altar is the maid of honor Mary Jane Watson as she stands at the left side of the altar.

"Hey... it's time." Mary Jane smile.

The ceremony has just begun as the wedding theme is being played all around, the doors are opening up as everyone gets up and looks back, Peter is still at the altar as he can see Gwen Stacy finally making her entrance all dressed in her wedding dress being escorted by her Uncle Arthur, Peter smile as he feels happy this is finally happening, Gwen is walking beside her uncle until they finally made it to the altar as Peter steps down and ready to receive Gwen.

"Peter Parker... on behalf of my brother George, may he Rest In Peace, I'm about to hand off this amazing young woman into your care and ask that you make her very happy for a very long time." Arthur Stacy smile.

"You have my word, I'll protect her with my life and make her the happiest woman on Earth." Peter smile.

Arthur then hands off Gwen into Peter's care as he wishes the both of them the very best life together before walking to take his seat with his daughter Jill, Peter and Gwen are locked in each other arms walks up to the altar standing before Judge Spencer Watson, Peter is standing at the right with his best man Harry Osborn while Gwen is standing at the left with her maid of honor Mary Jane Watson.

"Everyone, please be seated!" Spence Watson asked everyone.

All the guest are sitting back down in their seat as the ceremony finally begun.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we're all gathered here today to this lovely young couple join together in holy matrimony..." Spencer Watson giving out the speech.

Everyone is listening including Peter and Gwen as they're both happy being together on this very important day of their lives.

At the same time above the Earth, on the Moon itself is Grendel fully awakened and recovering all it's strength, meanwhile within the dragon is Carnage as his powers are being further augmented, his appearance is changing more darker than ever before. Outside on the moon are Riot and Scream as they're wondering what's happening to their brother within the beast, emerging on top of the dragon is a new and more deadly version of Carnage, his symbiotes is more reddish-black with a symbiote symbol glowing red-white along with his eyes, a white spiral symbol was on his forehead and he has a pair of horns, the symbiotes are stunned upon seeing this new Carnage before their eyes, he's been reborn as something else entirely.

"Carnage?!" Scream said.

"Yes... but darker than ever, I am... Dark Carnage!" Carnage became Dark Carnage.

Grendel's strength is fully recovered as the symbiote dragon stretch out its wings before the symbiote's eyes.

"Brother, Sister, come... it is time!" Dark Carnage said.

Riot and Scream both jumped off the Moon and onto the back of Grendel, about to take a ride with their newly reborn brother, Grendel is flapping its wings and taking off from the moon's surface, flying away from the Moon and heading towards the planet Earth, the Symbiote Invasion has begun.

Meanwhile on the Helicarrier, the mobile headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D is still cloaking and hovering high up above New York City, Nick Fury is at the bridge overseeing all operations, but the most important of all is preventing Grendel from ever being awakened, all of a sudden the screens are turning red as they're all on alert, Maria Hill is checking only to be stunned by the unexpected news they're getting from outer space.

"Status, Agent Hill!" Nick Fury said.

"Director, something big is approaching Earth's atmosphere, it's came from the Moon!" Maria Hill informs.

"That's impossible, give me satellite visual immediately." Nick Fury said.

Maria Hill is tapping into orbiting satellites and putting up a live visual from outer space for Fury and all of S.H.I.E.L.D. to witness, they're all seeing a giant black dragon flying down into the Earth's atmosphere, this made Fury more fearful than ever.

"Holy Mother of God... it's Grendel, it's been revived... where's it heading?!" Nick Fury needs to know.

"Calculating trajectory..." Maria Hill is observing the flight path of the creature and got it. "It's heading towards New York City!"

Nick Fury got on the comms. "This is Director Fury, battle stations! Mobilize! This is not a drill! I repeat, this is not a drill!"

Everyone onboard the Helicarrier all received the orders as they're all mobilizing and getting to their post as fast as they can.

"Hill, where are the Avengers?!" Nick Fury said.

"They're still in Florida, Director." Maria Hill said.

"Contact them and get them back to New York immediately, also get in touch with the West Coast Division, we need every Avenger available for this!" Nick Fury said.

"On it." Maria Hill said.

"Coulson, is the special order we requested ready?!" Nick Fury said.

"It is, it's all been shipped and received at the Triskelion, ready to be used." Phil Coulson confirmed.

"Good, have all our troops armed with anti-symbiote weapons, and put out the alert to the city, New York is about to become a war zone!" Nick Fury said.

"Understood Director!" Phil Coulson complied.

Nick Fury is mobilizing all of S.H.I.E.L.D. and bringing in Earth's Mightiest Heroes to fight this big battle, the symbiote invasion has begun.

It's 2:22 PM back on Earth, everyone in New York City are still going on with their peaceful lives, meanwhile at Saint Patrick's Cathedral, the ceremony is still going on with Peter and Gwen at the altar along with everyone in their rows still listening to Judge Spencer Watson giving the speech as he's about to finish it.

"If anyone objects, believes this lovely couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace!" Spencer Watson said.

Peter and Gwen looks back at the crowd as none of them are objecting to this marriage, but something unexpected happened as the entire city's alarms are tripped as it caught everyone's attention, including Peter and Gwen, they're wondering what it's all about. But they hear screaming coming from outside the Cathedral as everyone is getting up and leaving the Cathedral including Miles and Anya as they're curious as what all the trouble is about. Peter and Gwen are heading towards the outside as they've joined their friends looking up at the sky.

"What's everyone looking at?" Peter asking.

Miles pointing up. "There!"

Peter and Gwen are staring up at the sky to see something big flying through the clouds, it's a giant black symbiote dragon called Grendel.

"Oh no..." Gwen is terrified.

Grendel is flying in closer above New York City with Dark Carnage riding on top along with Riot and Scream, everyone down in the city all screamed in horror upon seeing Grendel flying above their heads roaring out loud for everyone to hear, especially in Murray Hill as Eddie Brock and Anne Weying are looking out to see a big black dragon flying around above the city, Eddie has a feeling this is connected to the symbiotes. In Chinatown, coming out of F.E.A.S.T. are Martin Li along with few others looking up at the sky all looking very terrified.

In a bar in Hell's Kitchen, it's Logan who came out still has a cigar in his mouth, he stopped smoking and looks up at the sky to see a huge dragon flying above everyone's heads, there's trouble in the city, he went up to his motorcycle and pulls out his new Wolverine suit. In Jersey City, on top of the Circle Q is Kamala Khan as she and Bruno are viewing the New York skyline to see a giant black dragon flying above the city, Kamala has a feeling something big is about to go down right now and Spider-Man will need help, this'll require the assistance of Ms. Marvel.

Dark Carnage is still in control of Grendel as he's now following the will of his new master, he commands the beast to drop biomass seeds from it's body down onto the city as one of them landed down and crashed in the middle of the street of Greenwich Village, a lot of people are stunned upon whatever this thing is, several of them are approaching it as it began to spawn out symbiotes and started bonding with their new hosts, transforming them into symbiote minions as the seed still spawns more symbiotes take more hosts for themselves, all these symbiote all have the spiral symbol on their heads. Grendel is still flying around the city and dropping more seeds down onto the streets as it repeats the process and creating more symbiotes to take hosts, they continue multiplying in numbers all throughout the city.

The dragon flying above the city towards Avengers Tower as it landed at the very top, Dark Carnage is still standing on top of Grendel overlooking the entire city as he can feel so many symbiotes and all their hosts throughout the hive mind, so much negative emotions, so much darkness, he's feeling everything.

Dark Carnage breathes in and moans. "AHH! This feels great... and I like it!"

Dark Carnage is enjoying all this chaos the symbiotes are inflicting upon the entire city as he laughs sinisterly, Grendel is producing more of it's biomass as it's forming up around Avengers Tower, they symbiote claimed it as their base of operations. Dark Carnage has finally done it, he's brought the symbiotes to Earth and begun the invasion, taking over New York City is only the beginning, soon the rest of the world will follow.

Meanwhile back at the Cathedral, everyone who attended the wedding are all troubled by this unfortunate turn of event, especially Mayor Jameson and Captain Watanabe as they're on their phones hearing the horrors the entire city is facing, Peter, Gwen, Miles, and Anya as they know exactly what's going on, what they fear is finally happening, Grendel has started the symbiote invasion, they're walking back into the Cathedral for some privacy to take, May, Mary Jane, and Ganke followed in as they're about to discuss what's happening to the city.

"What in God's name is that thing?" May is curious.

"Tiger, I can see it in your eyes, you know what that is, don't you?" Mary Jane said.

"Yeah... that's Grendel, a symbiote dragon that was frozen on the moon for years, until now... they finally done it, they've awakened it." Peter said.

"Who are they?" May said.

"Carnage, this had to be him, somehow they manage to get to the moon and awakened Grendel from its sleep." Peter said.

"How could they possibly gotten to the Moon? It's not possible." Miles said.

"It doesn't matter how, it's already been done... we need to contact Fury." Peter said.

Peter pulls out his phone and calls Nick Fury, he puts it on speaker for everyone to listen in.

"Parker, are you there?" Nick Fury said.

"I'm here, so is the rest of my team." Peter said.

"I take it you've already notice the presence of Grendel." Nick Fury said.

"Yeah, along with everyone else and this couldn't happen at a worst time." Peter said.

"I'm sorry about that Parker, none of us saw this coming, we didn't expect the symbiotes find another means to travel into space, not this fast anyway." Nick Fury said.

"No matter, how bad is it?" Peter said.

"It's worse, we're getting reports all cross the city, many people are being turned into monsters, Grendel has already claimed Avengers Tower and has deployed it biomass all over the city, it's as I feared, Grendel has brought symbiotes to the Earth, these aliens are already taking as much hosts as they can take, they're growing in numbers and only continues to do so." Nick Fury said.

"My god... where are reinforcements?" Peter said.

"The Avengers are already en route, so is the West Coast team, I'm bringing in every Avenger on this, we have to stop this by any means necessary, if they're able to take control of the city, they'll soon spread out and take the rest of the world. I'm already sending in our agents to assist in the evacuation and getting the civilians to the safe zone, they're all armed with anti-symbiote weapons to keeping these aliens at bay, for now you and your team will have to do." Nick Fury said.

"We'll get right on it." Peter said.

"Good luck, may God be with us all." Nick Fury said before he hangs up.

Peter sighs. "We need our suits."

"Not to worry, we got you cover!" Miles said.

Miles and Anya are each holding backpacks in both hands, each containing suits.

"We've came prepared, just in case." Anya smile.

Peter and Gwen smile upon their friends coming prepared for this event, all of a sudden Peter is getting a call from an unknown number, he answered the call.

"Hello?" Peter said.

"Parker, it's me, Eddie Brock!" Eddie Brock sounded in distress.

"Eddie, what's wrong?!" Peter sounded worried.

"I'm with Anne, we're at her apartment in Murray Hill, these symbiotes have already taken everyone in the neighborhood, they're already invaded our building and taking everyone as we speak, we need your help now, you're our only hope!" Eddie Brock said.

"Okay Brock, trying to evade as best as you can, we're coming." Peter said.

"Please Parker, hurry!" Eddie Brock then hangs up.

Peter sighs. "Eddie's in trouble."

"So is the rest of the city, there's only four of you." Mary Jane said.

"Look, Eddie might not be my favorite person, but he still might have information about the people who took away his symbiote, he might be the key to finding out who they are." Peter said.

"Well, whatever we do, we better do it fast!" Anya said.

"Agreed, suit up!" Peter said.

Peter, Gwen, Miles, and Anya are each taking their suits and finding places to get change as they all got a huge fight ahead of them. Peter and Gwen are changing into one of the rooms together as they're stripping off their wedding attires and getting dressed in their suits, Gwen sighs as this caught Peter's attention.

"What is it, Gwendy?" Peter is curious.

"It's... just not fair, this had to happen on our most wonderful day of our lives." Gwen is disappointed.

Peter sighs. "I know, I hate this too... but right now, the city and all it's people need us more than ever."

"I just hope that we can survive this." Gwen said.

"We will, cause I don't plan on dying... I still have so much to live for." Peter smile warmly.

Gwen smile warmly. "Me too... I still want to marry you."

Peter and Gwen leaned in and kisses each other warmly before looking at each other's eyes.

"Let's go do what we do best." Peter smile.

"Be heroes." Gwen smile.

"When this is all over... let's get married, if you still want it." Peter smile.

"I do." Gwen smile.

Peter and Gwen got back to kissing each other before heading into battle for the fate of the city and the Earth itself, determined to survive and get married when this is all over. Just outside of the Cathedral are Spider-Girl and Kid Arachnid still waiting for their teammates to come out, they spotted Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider coming out together and joined up.

"What kept you?" Spider-Girl said.

"Sorry, we just got caught in the moment... but we're ready." Spider-Man said.

"Great, let's do this." Kid Arachnid said.

"But what about our friends? Our families? We can't just leave them out here unprotected." Spider-Girl said.

"She's got a good point." Ghost-Spider said.

"But we also need to help Eddie, he and his lady friend are counting on us." Spider-Man said.

Coming in to join the conversation is Captain Yuri Watanabe as she managed to have time to change into her regular clothes.

"Spider-Man, I'm getting reports of Greenwich Village, the NYPD are helping evacuate civilians from the area and escorting them to the safe zone, but they're still having trouble holding these creatures back, they're outnumbered and outgunned, those cops and the people there need help right now." Yuri Watanabe said.

Kid Arachnid sighs. "Another thing to worry about, there's only four of us."

"We'll have to split up, you and Spider-Girl head for Murray Hill and rescue Brock and his friend. Ghost-Spider, I need you to help evacuate the civilians here and getting them to the safe zone, I'll head for Greenwich Village and help the evacuation there as well." Spider-Man said.

"I guess we're all going our separate ways from here on out." Kid Arachnid said.

"We are, stay in contact and be careful out there." Spider-Man said.

"Will do." Spider-Girl said.

"I'll make sure everyone gets out safely, I promise." Ghost-Spider said.

Spider-Man raised his fist, Kid Arachnid did the same, as did Ghost-Spider and Spider-Girl as they all joined fists together.

"Let's go be heroes out there... good luck." Spider-Man said.

The Web-Warriors all bumped fists in agreement before parting ways, Spider-Man is the first to leave and heads down to Greenwich Village where he's needed, Spider-Girl and Kid Arachnid are leaving together heading towards Murray Hill to rescue Eddie Brock and Anne Weying, Ghost-Spider stayed behind and looks after their loved ones while here teammates are going on mission of their own, the fate of the city is now in their hands.

It's 2:46 PM in Murray Hill, at the apartment building as Eddie and Anne are leaving her apartment together as they're attempting to escape all the trouble coming their way , but they spotted more symbiotes in the hallway as they stopped and panic as their escape path has been compromised.

"Oh god!" Anne Weying is scared.

"Turn around!" Eddie Brock said.

Eddie took Anne's hand as they're turning back the other way as the symbiotes are attempting to chase after them, but they kept on running until they spotted an elevator up ahead, they made it to the door as Anne pressed the button, the elevator is on it's way up as they're still scared, symbiotes are closing in on them, Eddie is getting worried he and Anne are about to be taken, but he spotted a fire extinguisher, he picks it up from the wall and uses it to disperse foam at the symbiotes, stopping them in their places, buying some time as the elevator finally arrived and the doors are opening up.

"Get in, quickly!" Eddie Brock still using the extinguisher.

Anne quickly got into the elevator as Eddie Brock uses the extinguisher to keep them back, he enters the elevator and Anne quickly hits the button to close the doors, but as it closes up a symbiote came out and holds the doors in place as Anne screams in fear, but Eddie strikes hard with butt of the extinguisher on the symbiote's head, knocking it back hard and the doors are closing up, the elevator is going up to the rooftop as Eddie and Anne are still feeling the adrenalines kicking in as they were close to being taken, the elevator is playing Muzak music.

Eddie Brock breathing heavily. "That was too close."

The pair are still breathing and calming themselves down until the elevator made it to top, they exited and made their way to the stairs heading to the rooftop. They got to the roof as Eddie Brock closes the door shut, he then spotted a trash bin here as he placed it between the doorknob and the rail, jamming the door as Eddie and Anne are safe for now, they went to the ledge to look down to see so many symbiotes down in the streets as they've already so many human hosts, they're only growing large in numbers, but all of a sudden the rooftop door is being banged hard as trouble is still coming.

"This is bad." Anne Weying is panicking again.

Eddie Brock looks at the water tower. "There!"

Eddie and Anne are climbing up the ladder to the top of the water tower as the rooftop door is still being banged up until it finally bursted wide open as many symbiotes are coming onto the rooftop, they spotted the pair climbing to the top of the water tower, Eddie and Anne made it to the top as they see the symbiotes are still coming their way, they're still scared as the symbiotes starting climbing up to them, Eddie hugs Anne tightly.

"They're still coming!" Anne Weying in Eddie's arms.

"I'm so sorry Anne." Eddie Brock said.

The symbiotes coming close to reaching to the top as Eddie and Anne awaits the inevitable, the symbiotes roars out as they finally reach the top about to take both of them, but coming in swinging are Kid Arachnid and Spider-Girl as they sweep Eddie and Anne off the water tower before the symbiotes were able to claim them, they saved them just in time. Kid Arachnid has Eddie Brock and Spider-Girl has Anne Weying as they're swinging them away through the neighborhood where a lot of symbiotes are roaming around, but the important thing is they're safe.

"Kid Arachnid, Spider-Girl, you're just in time!" Eddie Brock said.

"Someone called for help and we came." Kid Arachnid said.

"Can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I never been happy to be saved by you guys, thanks!" Eddie Brock said.

"You can thank us once we get to a safe place." Kid Arachnid said.

"We're still not out of danger yet, you both can thank us later." Spider-Girl said.

"Still... thank you." Anne Weying said.

Kid Arachnid sighs. "You're both very welcome."

It's 3:23 PM in Greenwich Village as many people who weren't bonded by symbiotes are still making the run for their lives as the NYPD are doing their best to hold back the symbiotes army but none of their weapons are effectives against them as the symbiote minions overwhelmed the cops and unleashing more symbiotes for them to bond with, those cops are bonded with the aliens and joined the symbiotes as their numbers are growing strong, people are still escaping the neighborhood as fast as they can, among them are a mother and her son as the boy tripped and fell down, the mother stopped to see her son on the ground as one of those creatures are coming at him, he screams in horror until Spider-Man came in swinging and swooped him off the ground, he landed down in front of the mother and hands her son back to her as she hugs her son tightly in relief.

"Thank you!"

"Go, get to safety!" Spider-Man said.

The symbiotes are coming at Spider-Man as the hero fights back with a uppercut and knocked one of them back hard, he fired a couple of webbing and trapping down two of them as the mother and son is making their escape while Spider-Man holds them off on his own, giving everyone the chance to get to safety while they can, he's fighting with everything he's got but he's incredibly outnumbered going up against the symbiotes as they're very quick and agile, one of them manage to tackle the hero down hard, Spider-Man went down easily as the symbiote attempt to reproduce a new symbiote for it to bond to the hero, but a enlarged fist was stretched out and punched the symbiote off of Spider-Man. The hero looks back to see it's Ms. Marvel here in Greenwich Village as she swings her arms with an open hand and shoved away a wave of symbiote all at once, she just saved his life but Spider-Man got worried as he got back up on his feet.

"Ms. Marvel, what are you doing here?" Spider-Man looks surprised.

"I think it's called saving your life, you're welcome by the way." Ms. Marvel smile.

"Thank you, but don't change the subject, why are you really here? This is no place for you, this is a very dangerous situation!" Spider-Man said.

"I know that." Ms. Marvel said.

"No, you don't, this isn't like taking down robbers or supervillains, this is the real deal, a world ending event, there's no chance we'll make it out alive... Please tell me you thought this through?" Spider-Man said.

"I did think this through!" Ms. Marvel said.

"No, you couldn't possibly thought this through." Spider-Man said.

"If this is as big as you say it is, you can't protect the neighborhood if there's no neighborhood left to protect... so like it or not Spidey, you're stuck with me." Ms. Marvel said.

Spider-Man doesn't like the idea of Ms. Marvel dragging herself into this very dangerous situation, but the symbiotes are getting back up and recovered their strength as it caught Spidey and Ms. Marvel's attention, they're still in for a fight, a couple of them are unleashing tendrils at the pair but coming in riding on the motorcycle very fast is none other than Wolverine as he draws out his adamantium claws and slice them off easily, making the symbiotes scream in pain as the motorcycle made a complete stop, Wolverine steps out and shows him to the two heroes, Spider-Man is surprised to see Wolverine again, only this time wearing a new version of his old suit, this one is still yellow only with blue, his belt got a symbol for the X-Men.

"Wolverine?" Spider-Man said.

"Hey Web-Head, it's been a while." Wolverine said.

"Sure has, what brings you to New York? I thought you still be in Tokyo." Spider-Man said.

"Long story... seems like we still got some trouble." Wolverine said.

Some of the symbiotes are still standing as they're about to fight off against the heroes.

"What are these things?" Ms. Marvel said.

"Whatever they are, I'll make shish kebab out of them!" Wolverine draws out his claws again.

"No, don't kill them! These creatures are still human! They're being controlled by the symbiotes!" Spider-Man protests.

"The what?" Ms. Marvel said.

"Alien organisms from outer space, they have the ability to bond with any lifeforms they encounter. These aliens we're looking at, they're still human, just taken over by the symbiotes, so whatever we do, no killing." Spider-Man said.

Wolverine growls as he reluctantly pulls his claws back into his knuckles as the symbiotes are coming in and attacks the three heroes, Spider-Man jumps over and webs one of them, he tossed that symbiote towards several of them, Ms. Marvel spotted more of them coming as she stretch her arm and her fist back, then she launched a straight punch as her arm is stretching and strike her targets with a single punch, Spider-Man knocked down one with a spinning back kick as he's impressed by what Ms. Marvel did.

"Nice punch!" Spider-Man gave a compliment.

"Thanks, I learned it from this anime show, it's called..." Ms. Marvel said.

"I know what you mean, I've seen that show." Spider-Man understands the reference.

Wolverine is still fighting these symbiote using just his fists as his punches and kicks are reinforced by the adamantium in his skeleton, they're somewhat effective against these aliens, but several of them are unleashing tendrils as Wolverine draws out his claws again and slice off the tendrils, he's willing to use them against these aliens as this caught Spider-Man's attention.

"What did I say? We're not trying to kill them!" Spider-man protests..

"Try telling them that, Bub! And why are you raising you voice?! You sounded upset!" Wolverine said.

"It's my wedding day, I was so close to marrying the love of my life and these symbiotes had to come and ruin everything! So yeah, you're damn right I'm upset!" Spider-man is very upset.

"That explains everything." Wolverine said.

The pair then spotted a whole wave of symbiotes are coming at them as Ms. Marvel uses her enlarged hand and stretched out her arm, she swings it hard as took down the wave of symbiotes at the same time like she did before, she exhausted herself a bit with that move.

"Nice moves." Wolverine is impressed.

"This isn't over, there'll be more. We have to pull back, get a safe place." Spider-Man said.

"Right, lead the way." Ms. Marvel said.

Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, and Wolverine are making their retreat before more symbiotes show up. Sometime later, they've reached a temporary safe spot on a rooftop in Greenwich Village not too far from where they were earlier, they're taking off their masks and they're all feeling very exhausted from the intense fighting they had against the symbiotes earlier.

"That was too close, I need a recharge." Kamala then pulls out an energy bar and takes a bite.

"Anyone care to tell me what's going on?" Logan said.

"A giant creature call Grendel is responsible for all this." Peter said.

"This Grendel, would it happened to be a big black scary looking dragon that flew over New York?" Kamala said.

"The same, it's creating more symbiotes to take over hosts, any they could find and initiating symbiosis, what's happening here is only the beginning." Peter said.

"The beginning of what?" Logan said.

"It's the Symbiote Invasion, they've chosen to invade New York and taking over any forms of life, once they're done taking over the entire city, they'll soon spread out and repeat the process all across the country, then the entire world will follow. When that happens, it'll be all over, Earth will belong to the symbiotes and all life here will be extinct." Peter explains the Symbiote Invasion.

Kamala is stunned. "Allah... but we can stop them, right?"

Peter sighs. "I don't know Kamala, I fought against symbiotes in the past, but never on this scale."

"Do they have any weaknesses?" Logan said.

"Sound sounds and fires are very effective against them, but even so, there's just way too many. S.H.I.E.L.D. has already sent in reinforcements, all the Avengers are en route to assist. I see you're with the X-Men now Logan, any chance they can help out?" Peter said.

"They're handling a situation in Genosha, so I'm the only backup you got." Logan said.

"I'm backup." Kamala intervened.

"No, you're a rebellious teen who's in way over her head, let the grown ups talk." Peter said.

"And who is this, your ward?" Logan asking Peter about her.

"Hi, I'm Kamala." Kamala introduce herself.

"Logan, everyone just calls me Wolverine." Logan introduce herself.

"Oh, so we're using our made-up names, I'm Ms. Marvel then." Kamala said.

All of a sudden they hear the symbiote scream from a distance as it got their attention and made them worried, it's getting closer.

"Looks like trouble is coming, we have to move." Logan said.

"Got any ideas?" Kamala said.

"I know a place not too far from here, we'll be safe there. All we can do is wait til the Avengers come and the real fighting begins." Peter said.

Logan sighs. "Great, so I'm dragged back into joining another superhero team again."

"Aren't you already on a superhero team?" Peter said.

"Yeah, a team of mutants fighting for mutantkind everywhere, not going around saving the world... but given the circumstances, guess I have no choice but to fight again, be a hero." Logan said.

"I welcome your help Wolverine, you'll make a fine Avenger in no time." Peter said.

"Great, and her?" Logan said.

"Well Ms. Marvel..." Peter came up to Kamala and uses his hand knighting on both her shoulders. "You're an Avenger."

Peter and Logan puts on their masks as they're about to leave as Kamala Khan smile upon being made an Avenger by Spider-Man himself along with Wolverine.

It's 3:48 PM as S.H.I.E.L.D. quintets are flying into Manhattan, several of them touched down in Chinatown as many agents are getting off they're all armed with newly specialized weapons made by Stark Industries as many people in Chinatown are still terrified for their lives including those from F.E.A.S.T. and Martin Li, among the agents is Agent Bobbi Morse AKA Mockingbird dressed in a new black and white suit with a pair of batons on her back, she's wearing yellow lens googles on her head as she's holding a megaphone about to speak to the crowd.

Mockingbird speaking through the megaphone. "Attention people of New York, we're gonna start evacuating a few civilians, each quinjets can only carry 15 people maximum, the rest of you make your way down out to the river, more transports will come and pick you all up."

A few civilians are climbing onto the quinjets as quickly and gently as they can while the others are making their way down south being escorted by some agents, but coming into Chinatown are more symbiotes as many people are starting to panic and make a run for it as fast as they can. The symbiotes are getting closer to F.E.A.S.T. as a few of them are about to reach some people, but someone discharged negative energy and sent them flying back with force, everyone is stunned to see the one who saved them is none other than Martin Li glowing in negative aura.

"Go! I'll hold them off!" Martin Li telling the civilians.

A lot of people are taking the opportunity to escape as Martin Li still unleashes his powers to force the symbiotes back as Mockingbird and her agents are backing him up by using their new weapons that fires off sound pulses, the symbiotes are hit and felt all the pain as they're very effective against them, but there are still too many coming in as the S.H.I.E.L.D. are doing their best to hold them back, buying enough time as the last of the civilians left the area and others are on quinjets leaving the city. Martin Li is using his powers to assist the agents in their fight against the symbiote but one of them managed to sneak around and came at him as he couldn't react in time, but Ghost-Spider came in for a drop kick and took down the symbiote, saving Martin Li's life as the man look surprised.

"Thanks." Martin Li said.

Most of the symbiotes are down as the agents are unleashing sonic waves, forcing the symbiotes to separate from their hosts as they're slithering back to retreat as a few agents are coming in with flamethowers, they're unleashing flames and burning up the alien lifeforms as they can't survive under fire, after the symbiotes are killed off the agents are walking over to the hosts left unconscious and weakened from the separation. Coming in to the neighborhood are Mayor Jameson along with most of the wedding guests including Ganke Lee, Mary Jane, and May as they spotted Martin Li glowing in a negative aura until he stops and went back to normal.

"Martin Li?" May said.

"It's still me, I couldn't stand by and do nothing, I had to use my powers to hold them back, giving others a chance to escape." Martin Li said.

"I'm glad you were here when it counted." May is proud.

The agents are helping lifting the unconscious civilians up and taking them inside the shelter for some medical attention.

"What happened to those people?" Jameson asking.

"We were able to force the symbiotes out from their hosts, but unfortunately the separation took a lot out of them as you can, we still need to leave them here in the city until we can verify there are no traces of the alien organisms within. I hope you don't mind us using the shelter for that." Mockingbird said.

"Of course not, we never turn away those in need, get them inside." May gave permission.

A couple of quinjet came in landing onto the street as more reinforcements are here to help.

"We can start evacuating a few more people, better get on board." Mockingbird said.

Some agents are helping a few civilians evacuating as they're mostly from the wedding, John is getting on board but notice his father isn't coming.

"Dad?" John said.

"I'm not coming John." Jameson refuses to leave.

"What?" John is confused.

"I can't leave this city, I'm still the mayor and I have a responsibility to help the people still left here, I can't leave them behind, I won't." Jameson said.

"Then I'm staying too." John said.

"No John, in case the worst has come, I need you to live on, you're all that's left of me and your mother... please John, live for us." Jameson said.

John tearing up. "This isn't the end Dad, I know you're coming back."

Jameson smile as he hugs John tightly before they parted ways.

"I can stay here and help." Flash volunteers.

"And you can, you need to help get these people to safety, protect them, that's your mission now." Ghost-Spider said.

"I understand... I'll make sure they're safe, you have my word." Flash accepts this responsibility.

"Wait! We can't leave without my niece, she and her fiancé got separated from us!" Arthur Stacy refuses to leave.

"My girlfriend is missing too." Sam said.

"So is my boyfriend." Tiana said.

"Listen, I'm sure they made to a safe place, my friends and I are gonna stay here, if we run into your love ones, we'll make sure they get out of the city safely, but you have to save yourselves first, please, do it for them." Ghost-Spider said.

Arthur Stacy sighs. "Okay... just please make sure nothing bad happens to Gwen."

"I promise... now go." Ghost-Spider said.

"I'll stay here too, I have to help the people in the shelter." May said.

"I'm staying here too." Mary Jane said.

"So will I, I'll wait here just in case Miles and Anya come back." Ganke Lee said.

May, Mary Jane, and Ganke Lee are staying behind as Jefferson is helping his wife Rio onto the quinjet along with Tiana and Sam, Flash is getting on board with Gwen's cousin and uncle along with Liz, Harry, Randy, Betty, Glory, and the rest of their friends, everyone got on board as the ramps are closing up, the quinjets are taking off and flying away from the city as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are setting up sonic barriers to form a safe zone around F.E.A.S.T., May is gonna help out the people here as Jameson is on the phone coordinating the whole city's personal aiding in the evaculation. Ghost-Spider watches as the quinjets carrying her friends and family flying them out of the city to safety, she's staying behind as the whole city still needs her.

Around 3:55 PM in East Village as Kid Arachnid and Spider-Girl are still swinging around with Eddie Brock and Anne Weying as their swinging is a bit slower since they're carrying two people around their necks, but unknown to them on the rooftops are symbiotes as they spotted the heroes coming in swinging, they symbiotes too the opportunity to strike as the heroes are caught off guard and got attack in the air as Eddie and Anne got loose and are falling down to the streets as Spider-Girl quickly reacts and fires some webbing down onto the trees and light poles, forming up a giant web net as it caught Eddie and Anne in time, saving both their lives.

Spider-Girl felt down hard onto the car in the middle of the street as the symbiotes have Kid Arachnid overwhelmed, but the hero counters by unleashing his mega venom blast, zapping them all simultaneously as they're falling down to the ground, but one of the symbiote is still moving and coming towards an injured Spider-Girl as she's too powerless to fight back, the symbiote was about to make it's move until Kid Arachnid strikes quickly with a venom punch, knocking the symbiote back hard as he's exhausted himself from using too much venom energy.

Just climbing down from the web net are Eddie and Anne as Kid Arachnid is helping Spider-Girl on her feet as she felt some pain in her shoulder, it's looks dislocated.

"Are you okay?" Kid Arachnid said.

Spider-Girl still feeling pain. "I think my shoulder got dislocated, I can't swing."

All of a sudden without warning more symbiotes are coming as they're outnumbered and at a huge disadvantage with Spider-Girl injured, they're coming in closer as Kid Arachnid did something reckless as he charges with his fists all charged up and fights the symbiotes alone.

"Miles!" Spider-Girl screaming.

"Go! Get out of here!" Kid Arachnid fighting alone.

"No, I won't leave you!" Spider-Girl said.

Kid Arachnid punched the symbiote, turning to Spider-Girl. "I SAID GO!"

All of a sudden Kid Arachnid is getting overwhelmed by the symbiote minions as Spider-Girl couldn't bear to watch this but she can't do anything in her condition, she reluctantly agrees to retreat with Eddie and Anne as they run down the streets leaving Kid Arachnid behind. They came across a taxi cab as Eddie took a peek inside to see the keys are still in the ignition.

"This will do, get in!" Eddie Brock said.

Eddie hops in the driver seat as Anne helps Spider-Girl into the back seat, both of them are in as Eddie Brock turns the key and ignites the engine, he's driving the taxi cab away from the neighborhood as Spider-Girl looks back at her friend being overwhelmed by symbiotes. Kid Arachnid is overwhelmed by the symbiotes numbers as they're reproducing a new symbiote onto the new host, Kid Arachnid can't do nothing to stop it as the symbiote is starting bonding with him, attempting to take over, he does his best to fight it as much as he can but he eventually succumb to the symbiote's influence and it completely took over Miles Morales, it stands up and it's appearance looks like Kid Arachnid except with a mouth with sharp teeth and a spiral over his entire head, he's now one of them.

The taxi cab is driving as far away as possible as Spider-Girl takes off her mask and tears up upon leaving her friend behind, he sacrificed himself so he could give her and the others the chance to escape, Anne noticed the tears in her eyes.

Anne Weying sighs. "I am so sorry."

"Me too..." Eddie still driving as he sighs. "Where to?"

"Go to F.E.A.S.T., that's where Ghost-Spider is, it's in Chinatown." Anya said.

"I know where it is... I'll take us there." Eddie Brock said.

Eddie is driving down south taking the three of them to F.E.A.S.T. where they'll be safe among friends.

It's 4:16 PM way up in the skies above Manhattan in the Helicarrier, Nick Fury is at bridge overseeing the evacuation of the city and initiating containment of Manhattan, he's looking at the holoscreens of the entire event happening as S.H.I.E.L.D. is taking the fight to the symbiote with everything they got, but it hasn't been easy since the symbiotes are still growing in numbers with more hosts they take, it's a very dire situation New York is facing.

"Agent Hill, how goes the evacuation?" Nick Fury said.

"About 33 percent of civilians in Manhattan have already been evacuated, they've been transported to Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Jersey City." Maria Hill said.

Nick Fury sighs. "Which means the other percent may already been taken by the symbiotes. What's the status in Manhattan?"

"Our agents are using the new weapons, they're proven to be very effectives, S.H.I.E.L.D.s arming up the NYPD with the weapons as well, should tip the scales but even they're still outnumbered." Maria Hill said.

"And the Avengers?" Nick Fury said.

"They'll be there within an hour." Maria Hill said.

Nick Fury sighs. "Get me in touch with Agent Morse."

(Chinatown)

Down in Manhattan in the area around F.E.A.S.T. which has been turned into a safe zone with sonic barriers around keeping the symbiotes out, the remainder of the NYPD are gathered here as S.H.I.E.L.D. are arming the officers up with new sonic weapons as the war against the symbiotes continues with Mayor Jameson and Captain Watanabe coordinating with S.H.I.E.L.D, inside F.E.A.S.T. which has been turned into a temporary base of operations on the ground as most of the staff including May and Martin Li are helping the unconscious people rest up and being checked out by S.H.I.E.L.D. doctors for any traces of the symbiotes, in the other room is Mockingbird speaking with Nick Fury on the holoscreen from the Helicarrier.

"What's the condition on those who were recently un-bonded?" Nick Fury said.

"They're still unconscious and resting, our doctors are examining them, there doesn't seem to be any traces of the symbiotes within any of them, our agents already burned them up upon separation. We've already set up base here in the shelter and deployed sonic barriers around the area, it's well secured, we're also arming up the NYPD with our weapons." Mockingbird said.

"Good, we'll need every help we can get, the symbiotes numbers are still multiplying, the Avengers will be there soon, just hold the line until then." Nick Fury said.

"Will do Director." Mockingbird said.

Nick Fury nodded before he switched off the holoscreen, just outside the office is Mary Jane coming around dressed casually as she's and Ghost-Spider are walking over to Ganke Lee sitting at the table with a laptop out tracking the Web-Warriors.

"What do you got?" Ghost-Spider said.

"Okay, if I'm reading this right, Spidey's in Greenwich Village hold up in some place, recognized this address?" Ganke Lee said.

"Sure do, what about the others?" Ghost-Spider said.

"Looks like they separated, I just lost Kid Arachnid's signal, but Spider-Girl's is getting close, heading this way." Ganke Lee said.

Ghost-Spider all of a sudden heard a car honking it's horns as she along with Mary Jane and Ganke all rushed outside of the shelter, exited the building and spotted a taxi cab coming this way very fast and honking its horn, Mockingbird came out as the NYPD and S.H.I.E.L.D. all raised their weapons up looking all rattled upon it coming very fast, Ganke Lee still has his laptop with him and spotted Spider-Girl's signal within the car.

"She's inside that cab." Ganke Lee said

"Hold fire! I repeat, hold fire! We have a friend inside that cab!" Ghost-Spider said.

"Stand down! Lower the barrier, let the cab through!" Mockingbird said.

S.H.I.E.L.D. and NYPD all lower their weapons and lower the barrier, giving the cab an opening as it pass through and the barrier went up again as the cab made an immediate stop as Jameson and Watanabe are curious as to who made quite an entrance, coming out of the cab is none other than Eddie Brock as the NYPD all raised their guns upon seeing him again as Eddie looks surprised as he raised his hands up in the air.

"Brock?!" Jameson said.

Eddie Brock sighs. "Wonderful, just the person I was hoping never to see again."

"I haven't forgotten all the trouble you've caused me and the Bugle." Jameson still holds a grudge.

"The feeling is mutual, you pretty much blacklisted me!" Eddie Brock protests.

"After you sold me a forgery! Made a mockery of the Bugle!" Jameson protests back.

"Enough! We don't have time for this, Brock is helping us out, so could we put all our issues on hold?!" Ghost-Spider said.

Jameson and Eddie Brock both replied. "FINE!"

Coming out of the cab is Anne Weying helping Spider-Girl up on her feet as she already has her mask back on but her arm looks bandaged by her own webbing as Ghost-Spider came up to her side.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Ghost-Spider asking her injured friend.

"I got a dislocated shoulder, might need to be set back." Spider-Girl said.

"I can help with that..." Ghost-Spider noticed someone is missing. "Where's Kid Arachnid?"

Spider-Girl sighs. "They got him."

"What do you mean they got him?" Ghost-Spider said.

"He fought them alone, he gave us a chance to escape... he's one of them now." Spider-Girl said.

"My god... come on, let's get you inside." Ghost-Spider said.

Ghost-Spider helps her friend into the shelter along with Eddie Brock and Anne Weying, things are uneasy for everyone upon learning Miles Morales was taken by the symbiotes and became one of them.

It's 4:53 PM in Greenwich Village, at the Sanctum Sanctorum as there's a massive mystical barrier protecting it, inside the Sanctum are Doctor Strange and Wong looking out the window as their magic is keeping the symbiote out, the pair turns to Spider-Man with Wolverine and Ms. Marvel recovering their strength after an intense fight they had recently.

"I see you guys brought trouble to our doorstep." Doctor Strange said.

"Sorry Stephen, we just didn't know where else to go in this moment of crisis." Spider-Man said.

"It's fine, I never turn away a friend in need." Doctor Strange said.

Ms. Marvel raised her hand up. "Ah..."

"You don't have to raise your hand, kid." Doctor Strange said.

Ms. Marvel lowers her hand. "Sorry, I was gonna ask if you got anything to eat around here? I need some calories to recharge my strength."

"Yeah, we have a some leftover pizza from Joe's in the kitchen, Wong can take you there, he'll even help you reheat it." Doctor Strange said.

"Follow me." Wong said.

Ms. Marvel stops and turns to her teammates. "You guys want anything?"

"A soda." Spider-Man said.

"I'll have a beer." Wolverine said.

Wong is leading Ms. Marvel downstairs to the kitchen as Doctor Strange went back to his hovering meditation as Spider-Man takes off his mask along with Wolverine, the both of are relaxing as they got some time to chat and catch up.

"Something on your mind, Bub?" Logan said.

"I didn't think I'd see you again, and in New York no less. I thought you were staying in Japan, with Mariko." Peter said.

Logan sighs. "We're... no longer together."

Peter looks stunned. "What happened?"

"After you and Red left Tokyo, an old... acquaintance of mine called me and got himself into some serious trouble, he asked for my help and I had to go save his so very annoying ass from the Yakuza." Logan said.

"And you did." Peter said.

"And as a result, I ended up putting a target on both mine's and Mariko's back, of course I'm not so easy to kill, even the Yakuza knows that, but they're wouldn't let this transgression go... so I had to make a deal with them." Logan said.

"What kind of deal?" Peter said.

"For Mariko's safety and her freedom, I had to make a vow to the Yakuza, they'll never make a move against her and promise to leave her alone, but the price for her freedom, I had to leave her, never to set foot in Japan... ever again." Logan said.

Peter sighs. "I'm sorry Logan."

"Don't be, with my life, it'll never last... Sometime after I left Japan, I took Professor Xavier's offer and I joined the X-Men, gave me a place and job, being among mutants, it felt like I belong there, gave me a purpose." Logan said.

"That's nice... but what exactly do you teach there?" Peter said.

"Combat, I pretty much teach mutants how to fight." Logan said.

"I see, and what of this friend of yours? The one you saved in Tokyo?" Peter said.

"He's not my friend, but if I ever run into that looney again, I'll slice him into pieces!" Logan is very upset.

Peter somewhat chuckles. "You're kidding... you are kidding, right?"

Logan growls. "If only he were that easy to kill."

Coming up the stairs is Kamala eating a slice of pizza as she carrying three soda bottles in her arms.

Kamala is chewing and finishing up. "Hmmm, can't believe how good pizza is when is reheated with magic... Oh, I only brought sodas, no beers obviously."

Logan sighs. "Give it."

Kamala hands Peter and Logan each a soda bottle as they're all opening them up and taking a drink together, Peter is drinking up until he's got a ring on his phone, it's from Gwen Stacy, he answered the call and holds the phone to the ear.

"Pete, are you there?" Gwen's voice

Back at the shelter, in the office are Spider-Girl already has her arm fixed up as Ganke Lee is helping Eddie Brock trying to ID the two people who took the Venom symbiote as its their best lead they got, Ghost-Spider is speaking with her fiancé over the phone.

"Yeah, I'm with Ms. Marvel and Wolverine at the Sanctum Sanctorum, we're all okay?" Peter said.

"Oh thank god you're alright, Pete." Gwen felt relieved.

"Why? Gwen, how are the others?" Peter suspects something is up.

"Anya's here, she had a dislocated shoulder, but we fixed it up, she's okay." Gwen said.

"And Miles?" Peter said.

Gwen sighs. "They symbiotes have him, he's been turned into one of them."

"My god... we're gonna get him back, no matter what it takes." Peter said.

Gwen smile as Ganke Lee is still showing pictures of the suspects until he spotted one of them, a redhead woman who looked very familiar.

"Hold on! Go back!" Eddie Brock said.

Ganke Lee is scrolling back the photos until Eddie spotted the redhead again.

"Right there! That's her!" Eddie Brock said.

"Hold on Pete." Gwen walks over to Eddie Brock's side and got a look at the suspect. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah, that's her, I never forget her face." Eddie Brock said.

"Pete, I'm gonna put you on speaker." Gwen said.

Gwen switched to speaker as Ganke Lee is pulling up everything on the woman Eddie ID'ed, her military history, employment record, everything.

"Okay, her name is Donna Diego, former Air Force pilot, got discharged five years ago, she's currently working as a test pilot for the Life Foundation." Ganke Lee said.

"The Life Foundation? The aerospace company?" Peter said.

"The same, her other occupation has her working as the assistant head of security, I'm going through a list of employees, see if our man works there too." Ganke Lee said.

Ganke is accessing the Life Foundation's list of employees and showing off Eddie their photos as he recognized the man who was with the woman who took his symbiote.

Eddie Brock pointed out. "There, that's him."

Ganke Lee pulls up his info. "His name is Trevor Cole, former Army Ranger, works as the company's head of security."

"Two people working at the same company are involved in the theft of the symbiote, that can't be a coincidence." Gwen said.

"No, and the Life Foundation built the shuttle that John once flew in two years ago, that's explains how the symbiotes must've gotten into space." Peter said.

"Why would the Life Foundation go through so much trouble bringing the Symbiote Invasion?" Gwen said.

"I don't know, but if they're involved, I'll find the answers there." Peter said.

(Sanctum Sanctorum)

"So what we waiting for, let's go." Logan said.

"No, this city needs you both, the Avengers will arrive soon and they'll need you both, I have to do this alone." Peter said.

"I understand, we'll be here waiting to help them out." Logan said.

"Hey Stephen, do you think you can conjure up a portal to Queens?" Peter said.

"Piece of cake... let me work my magic?" Doctor Strange said.

Doctor Strange uses his sling ring to conjure up a portal to Flushing Meadows.

"Whoa, that's so cool!" Kamala is amazed.

"Okay Gwen, I'm about to head out, you and Anya hold the fort." Peter said.

"I will... be careful and come back to me." Gwen said.

"I will... I love you." Peter smile.

"I love you too." Gwen blows a kiss over the phone.

Peter blows a kiss too before hanging up as he puts on his mask, Spider-Man walks up to the portal to Queens before turning to his friends, he pull out a several earpieces and gave them to Doctor Strange, Kamala, and Logan

"Take these, stay in contact." Spider-Man said.

"Good luck Web-Head." Logan smile.

"You too, Snikt. Good luck to you too, Ms. Marvel." Spider-Man gave a thumbs up.

Kamala smile with a thumbs up as Spider-Man jumped through the portal and now is in Flushing Meadow-Corona Park, he looks back at the portal closing up as now he's on his own.

It's 5:09 PM back in Manhattan at the now symbiote controlled Avengers Towers as Grendel still remains stationary at the top as it's still produces and converts more of it's mass, it's spreading out down on the ground to the city itself, down below are an army of symbiote minions as Dark Carnage is at the very top of the tower in the presence of Riot and Scream as he can feel all the symbiotes and all their host's negative emotions.

Dark Carnage smiles. "Oh this is beautiful... can't you feel it?"

Riot chuckles. "Yes brother, all this darkness, it's so nourishing."

"Indeed... he'll be so pleased." Dark Carnage smile.

Scream looks confused. "He who?"

"Our god." Dark Carnage said.

Riot and Scream don't know what Dark Carnage mean by this "God", but they got other concerns going on at the moment, they can see something flying into Manhattan, one of the quinjet is carrying the main Avengers Team lead by Captain America consisting of himself, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Falcon, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Wasp, they're all taking a peak out to see what happened to their tower.

"My god..." Black Widow is stunned.

"Stark's gonna totally freak when he sees this." Ant-Man said.

"Damn right I am!" Iron's Man's voice.

The Avengers all heard his voice over the speaker as flying next to their quinjet is another quinjet transporting the West Coast Avengers team consisting of Iron Man, War Machine, Hawkeye, Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver as they're all flying above Manhattan and looking at the tower all covered in some kind of slime being produced by a huge black dragon at the top.

"My tower... now I'm really pissed." Iron Man said.

"What's the game plan, Tony?" War Machine said.

"That thing sitting on my tower is responsible for all this mayhem, I say we destroy it, blow it the hell up." Iron Man said.

"Is that even possible?" War Machine said.

"From what Fury told us, these things have a weakness for fire and sonic, all we need to do is get close enough to that and burn it to ashes." Iron Man said.

"The important thing is those creatures on the ground are still humans, so our priority is to neutralize, not kill, understood?" Captain America's voice.

"Aye aye, Captain America." Iron Man said.

Iron Man opens up the ramp as Iron Man is the first one to take flight along with War Machine and Vision, all three of them are flying towards Avengers Tower to take on Grendel head on, but Dark Carnage could spot trouble coming this way which made Riot and Scream worry.

"They're coming!' Riot said.

Dark Carnage sighs. "I got this!"

Dark Carnage forms up wings on his back which caught Riot and Scream by surprise, he flaps them and takes flight, he's flying towards Iron Man and takes him heads on the air as War Machine and Vision assist, meanwhile both quinjet got in close enough to the ground as Thor and Hulk are the first one to jump out and dropped down to the ground as they're engaging against they symbiotes, the quinjets touched down on the ground and the rest of the Avengers are getting out and joins the fight as this caught Riot and Scream as they jump down from the tower to join on the fun, the Avengers are in for the fight of their lives once more to save the planet, a portal is opening up as Wolverine and Ms. Marvel came to the scene and joined the fight as Avengers.

It's 5:14 PM at the Life Foundation Headquarters in Queens, the whole place is under tight security as Spider-Man managed to infiltrate the place by sneaking around through the air vents, he makes his way to the office of the CEO of this company, he took a peak to see Carlton Drake sitting at his desk watching live news of the events happening all around Manhattan as he seem very happy by what's happening to the world.

"We're reporting live from the news chopper in the air above Manhattan as the entire city and it's residences have been overtaken by these strange lifeforms, some of the civilians managed to evacuate the city in time but there's no telling how many are still left on the island, the Avengers are currently doing battle as the entire city has been turned into a warzone, can Earth's Mightiest Heroes prevail... or is this the end of humanity as we know it..."

Carlton Drake chuckles. "On contrarie, this is only the beginning, when this is over, all of humanity will thank me for this."

Popping the vent open as Spider-Man drops down and landed in a three point stance, surprising Carlton Drake.

"I think not!" Spider-Man said.

Carlton Drake panics as he's about to reach to his phone to call security, but Spider-Man quickly fires his webbing, the phone was webbed down on the desk, Spider-Man then walks closer to the man demanding an explanation to all this madness he's caused.

"This was all you, wasn't it? Stealing Venom's symbiote, freeing Carnage, the break-in at the Triskelion, bringing Grendel to Earth? You did all this, didn't you?" Spider-Man said.

"Yes, this was all me." Carlton Drake said proudly.

"Why? Do you realized what you've unleashed?" Spider-Man said.

"Symbiotes, alien lifeforms from outer space, with the ability to bond with hosts and gift those with powers." Carlton Drake said.

"Is that what this is all about? Power? You're out of your mind! No one can control the symbiotes! No one!"

Carlton Drakes chuckles. "I don't want to control the symbiotes, Spider-Man."

"Then why all this insanity? A lot of good people were killed because of you!" Spider-Man protests.

"Cause the world is insane, that's why! Look at humanity, all we do is take take take! It can't go on, this world is very broken because humans made it that way, even my father knew it, he saw all this coming, humans continue oppressing one another for selfish reasons, driving themselves to their destruction. That's what I aim to change, to create a new world for all and symbiosis is the key to saving it, to humanity from themselves!" Carlton Drake explains his ambitions.

"My god... you really are insane." Spider-Man said.

"What you think doesn't matter, nothing matters anymore, and it soon it won't matter to the whole world, the symbiotes will see to it." Carlton Drake said.

"How do I stop it?!" Spider-Man said.

"You can't stop it, no one can stop it... so just sit back and embrace the inevitable, we're about to be part of the new world, a world where we can all be as one." Carlton Drake said.

Spider-Man then walks around the desk and got a hold of Carlton Drake. "Where's the Venom symbiote?"

"I'm not telling you anything." Carlton Drake said.

Spider-Man shoved Carlton Drake down on the desk while holding his left arm up and causing pain to the main.

"Where's the symbiote?!" Spider-man getting serious.

Carlton Drake can feel his arm in pain. "You're hurting me! And you call me insane?!"

"I don't enjoy hurting you, but right now I'm short on time! I'm gonna ask you one last time, where's the symbiote?" Spider-Man not playing around as he twisted a bit.

Carlton Drake yells in pain. "Okay, okay! It's here, it's in my private lab, I can take you there!"

"Show me." Spider-Man said.

Carlton Drake is leaving the office with Spider-Man as he's going to lead him to the Venom symbiote. Sometime later as there are barely any cameras nor any guards here in the hallway, Spider-Man noticed it while Carlton Drake leads him through the restricted section till they're closing in on the entrance to the private lab.

"Open it." Spider-Man demanded.

Carlton Drake sighs as he placed his palm on the scanner and leans his retinas to be scanned to, both his palm and retinas been scanned and checked, the lab door opens up and allowed access as Carlton Drake leads Spider-Man into the lab where the Venom symbiote is still trapped in a containment cylinder as Spider-Man walks up closer, the symbiote can sense Spider-Man as it's moving closer but still trapped, unknown to Spider-Man, Carlton Drake slowly trips the silence alarm without Spidey knowing it as Spider-Man can recognize it as the symbiote that once bonded with him years ago.

"Hello there, it's been a long time." Spider-Man talking to the symbiote.

"I see you shared a bond with this symbiote." Carlton Drake said.

"I did, for a while." Spider-Man said.

"So you've been through symbiosis before, why did you reject it and all it's wonderful gifts?" Carlton Drake said.

"Cause I've seen what it was doing to me, influencing me, driving me to do things against my very morals, it's exactly what those symbiotes out there are doing to those people out there!" Spider-Man said.

"What those symbiotes are doing are freeing people from their individualities, if people continue thinking for themselves, this world would descent back into chaos like before." Spider-Man said.

"Ever life has the right to think for themselves, that's what makes life wonderful, something you'll never understand... but no matter, you're done experimenting with symbiotes, it's coming with me." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Man took possession of the Venom symbiote in the containment cylinder, then he heard footsteps running into the lab as security came with automatic weapons and they all aim at Spider-Man with the symbiote in his possession.

"I think not, it's not going anywhere, and neither are you, not alive anyway. You can't stop this, no one can, not even your foolish hero friends, soon they'll be experiencing symbiosis and join the new world as one, too bad you'll never get that chance... kill him!" Carlton Drake said.

Spider-Man put the containment cylinder down as he jumps up and dodges all the bullets being fired upon him, he counters by firing off some webbing and disarming them, he drops down and drop kick one, then fired a couple webbings to two men from both sides of him, he pulls them in and they collided together, Spidey is too busy as he didn't noticed Carlton Drake is picking up the cylinder and attempts to make a run out of the lab as Spidey caught on in the middle of the fight, he fired a webbing to Carlton Drake's feet and tied them together as he dropped the cylinder hard and it cracked a bit. One of the guys came at him with baton, Spidey got a hold of his hand and toss them towards the other guy as he's finished taking them down, he walks over and picks up the cylinder.

"What you're doing is pointless, Spider-Man! You can't stop the new world I created! I have brought salvation! I have brought the futu-" Carlton Drake babbles until he got his mouth webbed shut.

Spider-Man just used his web-shooter. "That's better... now if you'll excuse me, I have a city to save."

Spider-Man took his leave with the Venom symbiote in the cylinder, the entire Life Foundation headquarters is mobilized with more security as they're determined to keep Spider-Man from escaping with the prize, they spotted Spidey coming out of the building with the symbiote as they open fire upon see him, Spidey is swinging around, moving too fast dodging all the bullets until he made it past their fences, Carlton Drake made it out to see the hero escaped with the symbiote, determined to stop this madness he's unleashed.

"Send out the drones!" Carlton Drake gave the order.

Spider-Man continues swinging around Long Island City getting as far away from the Life Foundation as possible, unknown to him the symbiote is leaking out through the cracks as this caught Spidey's attention, he made a stop onto the rooftop upon seeing the symbiote is getting free and attempt to make a move to bond with him again.

"Oh no, don't you think about it." Spider-Man said.

The symbiote stopped itself as Spider-Man refuses to bond with it again for good reason, but to his bigger surprise a squad of drones are flying through the neighborhood heading this way, he figured it's the Life Foundation determined to stop him by any means necessary, but he still got the symbiote to worry about, the last thing he wants is for them to have it back for their twisted purpose.

Spider-Man sighs. "I know I'm gonna regret this... fine, I'll have to be your host for the time being, come on."

The symbiote got permission as it starting bonding again with Spider-Man as he can feel it happening, but one of the drones came in closer as Spider-Man jumps off the rooftop as it impacted and blows up, Spider-Man is falling down as the symbiote fully bonded with the hero, Spider-Man is back wearing the black suit again with the same black color along with the white spider around his chest and back, he fired black webbing from his back hand and swings around the neighborhood as the drones are still after him, one of them came up closer as Spidey moves very fast, it missed and impacted a building nearby.

"Okay then, let's get serious then!" Spider-Man said.

There are only three left flying in the air as Spider-Man switched from defense to offense as he landed down onto a rooftop, he spotted one drone coming in much closer as Spidey fired black webbing onto it, he then swings it around and sent it back towards the other two as they collided and all blew up together in the air, Spider-Man finished dealing with the drones as he takes the time to feel the symbiote again, all it's awesome powers along with his emotions being heightened like before.

"Wow, I forgotten what it's like, this feeling... do me a favor and please stay out of my head until I can get you back to Brock." Spider-Man speaking to the symbiote.

Spider-Man does his best to remain in control of himself while he still has the symbiote bonded to him, but so far he's still remains himself despite being bonded to the symbiote again, he then jumps off the rooftop and swings away heading back to the city.

It's 5:59 PM back in Manhattan as the battle still continues, the Avengers are still engaged in combat against the symbiote army as it hasn't been easy since they're mostly holding back from seriously injuring them and the symbiotes are proven to be more stronger with power especially with Riot and Scream in the mix, in the air Iron Man, War Machine, and Vision are fighting against Dark Carnage who is proven to be even more powerful than his symbiote counterparts, the three heroes are firing off their energy blasts at Dark Carnage but it's proven ineffective as he got closer and strikes at Iron Man hard, sending him crashing down on the ground, the hero is down as Captain America noticed their teammate is down.

"Stark!" Captain America is worried.

But he was too distracted as Riot swings his mace at the hero, Captain America uses his shield to protect himself but the impact of the force was still too strong as it knocked him back hard. Black Widow is still fighting off against Scream as she uses her gauntlets to taser the villain, but they're ineffective as Scream unleashes her hairs and wraps around Black Widow, the rest of the Avengers are being overpowered by the symbiotes including Ms. Marvel as she screams out "EMBIGGEN!", she grew up larger and pushed away all the symbiotes that were overpowering her, Wolverine is being overwhelmed too as Ms. Marvel thrust her hand and shoved the symbiotes off him, he looks up to see she's grown large.

"Thanks for the save." Wolverine said.

"Sure thing, Snikt!" Ms. Marvel smile.

Wolverine sighs. "Never like that name."

Vision and War Machine fell down too as Dark Carnage came in for a landing to see most of the Avengers are down for the count, he got his hand on Iron Man who is down.

"Now, time for you all to join us!" Dark Carnage smile.

Dark Carnage produces a symbiote onto Iron Man as he's being transformed into another symbiote minion, Dark Carnage then unleashed some tendrils onto the rest of the Avengers as the rest of them are being turned into symbiote minions too, Wolverine punched out a symbiote as Ms. Marvel slams down her fists and create a shockwave around the impact, pushing back some symbiotes as Ms. Marvel has reached her limit on her powers as she's shrinking back to normal feeling all woozy, Wolverine got a hold of her before she falls to the ground.

"You okay?" Wolverine said.

"Yeah, growing too big takes a lot out of me." Ms. Marvel feeling weak.

Wolverine and Ms. Marvel are watching as the rest of the Avengers are being transformed by the symbiotes, they were about to help out but all of a sudden they got zapped by someone invisible, the pair are down as showing up out of thin air is Kid Arachnid bonded with the symbiote, he's still under their control as Wolverine and Ms. Marvel are powerless to stop Dark Carnage from turning them into his minions, he's finished as the Avengers are now part of the symbiote hive along with Kid Arachnid, Dark Carnage then turns to Ms. Marvel and Wolverine.

"Now it's your turn to join us." Dark Carnage smile.

Dark Carnage send a couple of tendrils towards them, but Wolverine's healing factor recovered him very quickly as he draws out his claws, he slice off the tendrils before they could touch and turn them, Symbiote Kid Arachnid came up and got a hold of Wolverine, zapping him but Wolverine is standing strong and head butts him, then he tossed towards the group. Wolverine rushed over and picked up Ms. Marvel as he's planning to escape with her as the rest are about to chase after him.

Wolverine taps his earpiece. "Hey Doc, open up a portal to F.E.A.S.T. now! Hurry!"

Wolverine is running and carrying Ms. Marvel to escape from the Symbiote Avengers all now under Dark Carnage's control, a portal is opening up to F.E.A.S.T. as Wolverine jumped through with Ms. Marvel, and the portal closes shut as they've escaped.

(F.E.A.S.T.)

Ghost-Spider and Spider-Girl rushed out of the office to find Wolverine and Ms. Marvel here in the middle of the shelter, they came down to check on the pair along with May and Mary Jane as they're helping them up on their feet.

"What just happened?" Ghost-Spider said.

"We don't know, something just popped out and these two just jumped right on in." May said.

Wolverine looking at Mary Jane. "Hey Red, long time."

"You too... what happened out there?" Mary Jane asking.

"We were taking the fight at Avengers Tower beside Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but they were overpowered and quickly defeated, didn't think that was possible." Wolverine said.

"They lost?" Ghost-Spider said.

"It gets worst, the one who controls these symbiotes, the red one, he was too powerful, he turned the Avengers into his slaves." Wolverine said.

"Including your friend, we've just ran into him out there, gave us quite a shock." Ms. Marvel said.

"My god..." Spider-Girl said.

"We had no choice but to retreat, I call someone call Doctor Strange, he opened up a portal and here we are." Wolverine said.

Ghost-Spider sighs. "The Avengers were this world's only hope and now they belong to Carnage... if Earth's Mightiest Heroes can't stop them, I don't know if we can."

"Better let Spidey know." Mary Jane said.

Ghost-Spider sighs as she taps her earpiece. "Spidey, are you there?"

(Queenboro Bridge)

On top of the Queensboro Bridge is Spider-Man still bonded to the symbiote as he looks at Avengers Tower covered by symbiote mass produced by Grendel as it's spreading throughout the city as this shocked him, all of a sudden he's hearing Gwen's voice over the earpiece.

Spider-Man taps his earpiece. "Hey Gwen, what's happening?"

"We got some more bad news." Ghost-Spider said.

"Don't we always... alright, spill?" Spider-Man said.

"The Avengers have fallen." Ghost-Spider said.

Spider-man looks surprised. "Say again?"

"The Avengers took on Carnage and they were all defeated, he turned them into his minions, they're all under his control now, including our friend." Ghost-Spider said.

Spider-Man sighs. "I can't believe this is happening."

"But not to worry, your friends Ms. Marvel and Wolverine are both alright, they got away in time." Ghost-Spider said.

"That's some good news at least." Spider-Man said.

"How about you? Are you alright?" Ghost-Spider said.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I broke into the Life Foundation." Spider-Man said.

"And? What did you find out?" Ghost-Spider said.

"I was right, the Life Foundation is behind all this, their CEO Carlton Drake is the mastermind of all this, stealing the Venom symbiote, breaking Carnage free, bringing Grendel to Earth, everything, this was all him. But on the upside, I just took back the symbiote they stole from Brock." Spider-Man said.

"Okay, that's some good news at least." Ghost-Spider said.

"Yeah, except..." Spider-Man said.

"Except what?" Ghost-Spider said.

"I'm bonded to the Venom symbiote.. again." Spider-Man said.

(F.E.A.S.T.)

Ghost-Spider looks surprised. "What?! You're bonded with the symbiote again!"

Eddie Brock is sitting with Anne Weying until he heard from Ghost-Spider mentioning someone bonded with the symbiote again, he figured it has to be Peter Parker bonded with his symbiote.

"I didn't have a choice, I couldn't just leave it behind in the Life Foundation's hands." Spider-Man said.

Ghost-Spider sighs. "How are you feeling right now?"

"So far I still feel like myself, it hasn't driven me to the dark side." Spider-Man said.

"Yet!" Ghost-Spider said.

Eddie Brock is walking over. "Hey, is that Spider-Man?"

"Yeah, he's got your symbiote." Ghost-Spider said.

"Let me talk with him, please." Eddie Brock said.

Ghost-Spider pulls out a spare earpiece and hands it to Eddie Brock, he puts it in his ear and taps it on.

"Spider-Man, are you there?" Eddie Brock said.

"Brock?" Spider-Man said.

"Yeah, it's me, listen, there's nothing to worry about with my symbiote." Eddie Brock said.

"My experience tell me otherwise." Spider-Man said.

"Listen, I've been bonded to that symbiote for months, it hasn't driven me dark while we're together." Eddie Brock said.

"What do you mean?" Spider-Man said.

"The symbiote can influences its hosts, but it also works the other way around, it can also be influenced by the hosts themselves, and I can tell you from my experience that the symbiote you have won't pose a threat to you." Eddie Brock said.

"How can you be so sure?" Spider-Man said.

"Cause it's my friend... you just need to learn to work together and it will cooperate with you... trust me on this." Eddie Brock said.

(Queensboro Bridge)

Spider-Man sighs. "Fine, guess it wouldn't be my first time working with the symbiote, I just hope it doesn't drive me dark again."

"It won't, just learn to work with it and you'll be fine." Eddie Brock said.

"Okay... I'll be heading back to the shelter, maybe we can figure out another way to stop this invasion." Spider-Man said.

"We'll be waiting for you." Spider-Girl said.

"Be careful, come back to me." Ghost-Spider said.

"I will... I love you." Spider-Man said.

"I love you too... see you soon." Ghost-Spider said.

Spider-Man feels happy thinking about his fiancée, she's the only thing that's keeping him going during this dark time, he jumps off the bridge and swings back to the city, he passes over the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who have secured the bridge as Spider-Man finally made it into the city itself as the whole place is swarming with so much symbiotes as they're multiplying in huge numbers, he kept on swinging around until he felt something reaching out to his mind, he dropped down onto a rooftop with his hands on his head, trying to push back whatever is it that is attempting to enter his mind.

"What... is... happening?" Spider-Man still resisting.

(Symbiote Hive-Mind)

Spider-Man has entered another realm, this place is all red and black as he can see a lot of people who are taken by the symbiotes, there are so many of them, including his fellow Avengers and Kid Arachnid as they're all part of the Hive Mind.

"Miles! Cap! Tony!" Spider-Man calling out.

None of them can hear them as they're still in a trace along with everyone else, wherever he is it doesn't fell like Earth as he came across some kind of throne room where something dark is sitting on it, shrouded in so much black as his eyes are glowing red.

"I see you have a strong will, how unfortunate... welcome to my realm!"

"Who are you?" Spider-Man said.

"I am pure darkness itself, as you can see all these lives here belong to me, joined my hive as one, soon the rest of Earth shall follow."

"That's never going to happen, cause I will stop it." Spider-Man said.

"You cannot stop it, nothing can, your friends already belong to me, they resisted as much as they could, but it was futile, eventually they gave in and joined my hive, you're all alone, you cannot win... join me, join my hive, become part of something bigger, give into the darkness and you shall be free, free of everything... it is the only way."

This dark entity attempts to persuade Spider-Man to give in and join his hive, Spidey is fighting and resisting the best he can, but all this darkness is too much for him as he's about to give in.

"Peter..." Gwen's voice.

Spider-Man heard that voice. "Gwen..."

"Peter... come back to me..." Gwen's voice.

Spider-Man then focuses on Gwen and her love for him, it's the most powerful and most beautiful thing within his heart that can't be taken by darkness, the only thing that's keeping him strong, she is his light, she gives him the strength to fight back as this dark entity can sense him pushing back.

"No... No, I won't give in!" Spider-Man refuses.

"This is not possible! How?!"

"I gave into darkness once, not again... so no, I will never give in... no, I won't let this world be taken by darkness!" Spider-Man said.

"You're making a mistake."

"Begone!" Spider-Man said.

"Don't you dare defy me!"

"I said... BEGONE!" Spider-Man yells out strong.

Spider-Man is being pulled away from the Hive-Mind with all his will as this dark entity doesn't like what Spidey just accomplished with just his will alone.

(Manhattan)

Spider-Man is back to the real world as he's still shaken by what just happened, he was in a mental realm as he was confronted by something very dark, very powerful, he was able to push him back and still remains in control of himself, Gwen's voice is still reaching out through the earpiece.

"Peter, come in, are you there?" Ghost-Spider calling out.

Spider-Man calms himself down as he taps his earpiece. "Hey Gwen... I'm here."

"We lost you for a bit, what happened?" Ghost-Spider asking all concerned.

"I was just..." Spider-Man stops himself.

"Just what?" Ghost-Spider said.

Spider-Man sighs. "Nothing... I'm alright, I'm coming to you."

"Okay, we'll be waiting for you." Ghost-Spider said.

"See you soon." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Man is still getting himself together after that horrible experience he just had, he has a feeling whatever is happening to Earth by the symbiotes is much bigger than just Carnage or the Life Foundation, something or someone is pulling all the strings, but he'll have to worry about that later, right now he jumps off the roof and swings back to F.E.A.S.T. to join up with his friends and loved ones.

It's 6:51 PM at the symbiotized Avengers Towers as Dark Carnage along with Riot and Scream are standing at the bottom looking upon the Avengers and Kid Arachnid all became part of the hive, the heroes have joined the symbiote army as Dark Carnage can feel all the darkness within them and feels more powerful, but all of a sudden reaching out from beyond is the dark entity speaking through the hive-mind as neither Riot nor Scream can listen in.

"Carnage..."

Dark Carnage hears the voices. "Master... our forces have taken the city, soon we shall spread out and take the whole world."

"I am pleased... however, I am still... displeased."

"Displeased?" Dark Carnage is confused.

"There is someone who still posses a threat... Spider-Man."

"Spider-Man? I don't understand?" Dark Carnage said.

"He's bonded to one of my symbiotes, I came face-to-face with him, attempting to have him join my hive and yet somehow he's able to resist!"

"Resist you? How is that possible?" Dark Carnage said.

"I don't know, he's even managed to turn my symbiote against me... this cannot be allow, he must be eradicated... permanently... kill him!"

Dark Carnage chuckles. "Yes Master, with great pleasure."

"Do not fail me, Carnage."

Dark Carnage got the new orders from his master as he summoned his wings from his back as Riot and Scream noticed it.

"Brother, Sister, we need to go." Dark Carnage said.

"Go where, brother?" Riot said.

"Our god has given us a task." Dark Carnage said.

"What's the task?" Scream said.

Dark Carnage chuckles. "Destroy Spider-Man!"

Riot and Scream both got a hold of Dark Carnage as he takes flight and flies them up in the air on a mission to destroy Spider-Man once and for all.

It's 7:01 PM in Chinatown at F.E.A.S.T., the place is still a safe zone as the sonic barriers are still keeping the symbiotes out, just outside the shelter are Jameson with Captain Watanabe coordinating with NYPD and S.H.I.E.L.D. on the grim situation the city is still facing as at the entrance are Ms. Marvel and Wolverine and on the rooftop are Ghost-Spider and Spider-Girl waiting for Spider-Man to come, inside the shelter are May and Mary Jane still tending to the unconscious and helping them get to the quinjets for evacuation, Eddie is sitting with itself is Mockingbird on the sat phone speaking with Director Nick Fury.

"Say again?" Nick Fury said.

"It's confirmed, the Avengers have already fallen, we've lost Earth's Mightiest Heroes." Mockingbird said.

Nick Fury sighs. "Then Earth is already lost, without them, there's no hope to defeat the symbiotes."

"If the Avengers can't stop them, I don't know what can." Mockingbird said.

Eddie Brock listened to Mockingbird explaining on how all hope for the Earth has been lost, he feels responsible for all this as Anne Weying noticed it.

"What's the matter, Eddie?" Anne Weying said.

"I did this." Eddie Brock felt guilty.

"What?" Anne Weying said.

"I did all this Anne, what's happening in this world is all me." Eddie Brock said.

"Eddie, that's not true." Anne Weying said.

"Isn't it? I'm responsible for all this, I created Carnage, he's a monster of my very own making, I created this monster out of my own hatred and desire for revenge, and now this monster has taken over the city and claimed so many innocent people... this is all my fault." Eddie Brock said.

"Eddie, listen to me... you have created this monster, but you cannot take responsibility for all the terrible things Carnage has done." Anne Weying said.

"I can't help it, every time I think about Carnage, it brings back to the day I created him, back when I was still harboring a resentment for Spider-Man... for a long time, I've always blamed him for all the terrible blows life has dealt to me, but the truth is... it's all me, I was always like this even before Spider-Man came into the picture, I was just... broken inside, still am, don't think anything I do will ever be enough to atone for my mistakes." Eddie Brock still feeling guilty.

"But you are, you're already helped the heroes figure out who's behind all this, Spider-Man has your symbiote with him." Anne Weying said.

"Still... won't change what's happening, the symbiotes have control of this city, the Avengers have fallen, soon the rest of the world will follow." Eddie Brock said.

"Maybe... but, I rather be here with you, the Eddie Brock who had his struggles, the man still seeks redemptions, the man I've fallen in love with... to me, you are perfect." Anne Weying smile warmly.

Eddie Brock smile warmly. "How did I get lucky to be with a woman wonderful as you?"

Eddie and Anne lean in closer and kisses each other, until they look each other in the eyes.

"Listen, if we do make through this, I want to leave all this behind, start over with you." Eddie Brock said.

"I just hope you'll still be free once this is all over." Anne Weying said.

"Maybe, maybe not, but I'll be willing to pay my debt to society if it ever comes that, do my time, anything just to be with you again." Eddie Brock said.

"And I'll be waiting no matter how long it takes, I want to be with you too Eddie." Anne Weying said.

Eddie and Anne are still sitting together discussing their future tower as Ghost-Spider noticed how close those two have gotten, her intuition about them are right, they're in a romantic relationship. All she can do is think about her future with Peter, she only hopes they'll get the chance to get married once this is all over, just coming into the shelter is Spider-Man still bonded with the symbiote as Ghost-Spider came up to him and hugs him. Eddie spotted the hero came in with his symbiote as he came up to get a closer look, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider finished their hugs as the hero saw Eddie Brock coming his way.

"You did it, you got it back!" Eddie Brock is impressed.

"Yeah, didn't expect to bond with again, I got worried it might've changed me again, but it hasn't. Looks you were right about the symbiote." Spider-Man said.

"Told you." Eddie Brock said.

Spider-Man extends his hand. "Here, you have it back."

Eddie Brock extends his hand about to shake hands with Spider-Man to take back the symbiote but he stopped himself before he ever could.

Spider-Man is curious. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I'm glad to see the symbiote again, I really am." Eddie Brock said.

"But?" Spider-Man said.

"But I think you should hold onto it, it might help you in your fight." Eddie Brock said.

"Okay... Did expect this, you were always so stingy with the symbiote, what change?" Spider-Man said.

Ghost-Spider sighs. "She did."

Ghost-Spider looking at Anne Weying as Spider-Man look her way too and gets the idea what changed Eddie Brock, it was his love for Anne Weying, but all of a sudden the moment got interrupted as Dark Carnage came flying in and bursting along with Riot and Scream as all five heroes looks up at the new version of Carnage.

"Spider-Man, long time no see." Dark Carnage said.

"What the..." Spider-Girl is stunned.

"Carnage?" Spider-Man is confused.

"Yes, only darker, I am... Dark Carnage." Dark Carnage said.

"What do you want?" Spider-Man said.

"You... I want you dead, my master demands it." Dark Carnage said.

"Who is your master?" Spider-Man said.

"Someone very powerful, he has great plans for your worlds, but you pose a threat to his ambitions, so you must die... Riot, Scream, kill him!" Dark Carnage said.

Riot and Scream were the first ones to fight, Scream unleashes her hairs as Wolverine draws out his claws and slices them off, Ms. Marvel enlarges her fists and strikes at Riot, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider got Eddie and Anne out of the shelter while their friends are keeping the symbiotes busy, Dark Carnage spotted Spider-Girl escorting May and Mary Jane out as he was about to make his move, but he got blasted back hard by negative energy, May looks back to see it's Martin Li using his powers to fight.

"Go May, get to safety!" Martin Li glowing.

Dark Carnage recovered and looks angry as he flies in after Martin Li, the man counters back and unleashed more of his power against this symbiotes, Spider-Girl got both May and Mary Jane outside as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are forcing Mayor Jameson into the quinjet for his own safety.

"Damnit! Let me go!" Jameson demands it.

"Get the mayor out of here!" Mockingbird said.

"I understand, Mayor Jameson, we need to get you out of the city!" Yuri Watanabe said.

Yuri Watanabe is boarding the quinjet with Jameson being forced on board as the ramp closes up and it takes off from Chinatown, another quinjet carrying the unconscious is taking off as well, both quinjets are leaving the city to safety as Spider-Man looks, then he turns to May and Mary Jane.

"Stay here!" Spider-Man said.

Spider-Man heads back to the shelter where the battle continues inside, Martin Li is using his powers to push back against Dark Carnage but the supervillain remains standing strong as he's forming a sword made out of symbiotes, he charged in through the negative energy without difficulty, Dark Carnage thrust his sword into Martin Li and seriously injured him as he stopped glowing, Martin Li is feeling the pain.

Dark Carnage chuckles. "See you in hell... Mister Negative."

Dark Carnage pulls out the sword as Martin Li as he fall down and starts bleeding on the ground, he turns his attention to Riot swings his mace as Ms. Marvel stretched her legs long and dodged, she slams her fists down onto Riot and knocked him down hard, Dark Carnage took flight and came at Ms. Marvel as he swings his sword and wounded her, she fell down and shrinks down to normal, Wolverine just took down Scream as he spotted the young hero injured and Dark Carnage touching down on the ground with his symbiote sword, Ms. Marvel is hurt as she looks up at Dark Carnage about to thrust down his sword.

"Say goodnight kid!" Dark Carnage smile.

Dark Carnage thrust down his symbiote sword to kill Ms. Marvel but Wolverine stepped in and stopped the sword with his claws, saving her life.

"Don't you dare kill a girl, Bub!" Wolverine said.

Wolverine uses ever once of his strength to push Dark Carnage back as the villain is falling down, Wolverine came at him with his claws not holding back as Dark Carnage swings his sword and wounded Wolverine good, the mutant hero fell down hard and bleeding, Spider-Man came back inside to find Martin Li dying on the floor, Ms. Marvel and Wolverine are both injured.

"Oh no... Ms. Marvel! Wolverine!" Spider-Man said.

Dark Carnage bested everyone here, the villain turns to see Spider-Man in a black suit.

"And here he is, the man of the hour!" Dark Carnage said.

"Leave them out of this! I'm the one you want!" Spider-Man said.

"Maybe, or maybe I'll just kill your friends and let you watch!" Dark Carnage said.

Spider-Man fires off black webbing at Dark Carnage as the villain swings his sword, Dark Carnage takes flight with his wings, Spider-Man jumps up and swings his way to face him head on, the two clashed and fought each other in the air as Ghost-Spider and Spider-Girl came in to see Spider-Man fighting off against Dark Carnage, they spotted Ms. Marvel and Wolverine both wounded, but Martin Li has taken the worst of it, May and Mary Jane came back inside against Spider-Man's advice to see Martin Li is on the ground dying from his wound, they rushed to his side.

"Martin Li! Are you okay?!" May is very worried.

Martin Li is weak. "May... you shouldn't be here."

May looks up to see Spider-Man does a barrel roll and dodge a sword swing, he punched Dark Carnage so hard using the enhanced strength the Venom symbiote is giving him, he even kicked the sword off his hand, but Dark Carnage is only staggered and he's still standing strong despite the enhancements Spider-Man he's getting from the symbiotes, Spider-Man and Dark Carnage came at each other and locks hands testing out their strengths, Eddie Brock came back to the shelter and sees Spider-Man with his symbiote fighting the new Carnage, but the villain is on a whole different level than a standard symbiote.

Spider-Man feeling the strains. "How are you so strong?"

"I've been blessed by our god, he is coming... but before he does, you must die!" Dark Carnage said.

Dark Carnage uses all his strength to overpower Spider-Man, he pushed the back hard to the wall as the hero felt hurt by all that strength, Dark Carnage forms up a dagger in his hand, Spider-Man is getting back to fight back but Dark Carnage quickly strikes by thrusting the dagger though Spider-Man as the hero felt the blade pierced inside him, May and Mary Jane are stunned along with Ghost-Spider and Spider-Girl, mostly Ghost-Spider as the love of her life has been pierced by the symbiote dagger as Dark Carnage pulls it out and the hero falls down seriously injured right before her eyes.

"NOOO!" Ghost-Spider yells.

Dark Carnage chuckles. "Goodbye Spider-Man!"

Spider-Man is laying down on the ground dying from wounds he got from Dark Carnage. Could this be the end of Spider-Man?
