Chapter 10
It had been a little under a week since Kazuto had gained his Evil Pieces, and had made the deal with Rias, switching an unused Rook piece, with Koneko, and now she was the first peerage member to join.
Kazuto sat within his house, with Koneko perched beside him, casually relaxing together as the new peerage.
"Senpai." Koneko began, drawing his attention. "I was thinking, who are you going to obtain as your Queen?"
"Its a very important piece. If Ravel-san wasn't a Bishop already-"
"No." Koneko rejects, while Kazuto tilts his neck. "…She would be…she is a…she is difficult."
Kazuto gives amused eyes. "Why is she difficult?"
Koneko looked slightly embarrassed, turning her neck to the right hand side. "…She is a difficult girl Senpai. Trust me, I am looking out for your best interest, and the best interest of the group."
Kazuto snickers lightly, he found her ways to be quite cute. "So, who could it be then Koneko-chan?"
Koneko paused, and thought about it for a few moments.
She then nods and shares her thoughts.
"…I don't know for Queen. But I did think of a peerage member in Asia Argento."
Kazuto was surprised Koneko was suggesting Asia of all people. "Asia-san huh. She's a former nun, I know she's settling in with the Devils now, but its a big leap from human, to Devil, especially for those in the Church, or formerly so."
"You know her better than I do, would she?"
Kazuto thought about it for half a minute, while chewing a snack he and Koneko where sharing.
"Hmm, well she'd be a very invaluable piece to be sure, she's a healer, and a healer in the group would be great for any group. I'll ask her, and see if she'd like to."
Koneko nods her head. "…Is there anyone you can think of who could be a good person to join, Senpai?"
Kazuto pondered on it for a few moments, and wondered about that.
He recalled the people he knew in the past, and how some might react to it all.
But he did have a few people that he thought would be good candidates, though he did wonder if they'd join or not.
"I'll be contacting a few people soon enough. Though I guess since its only you and me, we can wait for the contracts stuff, and just go and relax a little bit. What do you say Koneko-chan? Wanna go and have some fun?"
Koneko felt a wave of relaxation run through her body, and she liked the idea of just relaxing after the time they had since they first really began talking once again, with the Fallen Angels, and Walburga, among other things.
"Yes, Senpai. Lets go together."
"Great, because we've got someone coming tomorrow~"
Koneko tilts her neck. "Who?"
"An old friend." Kazuto replies, adopting a fond smile.
It had been a while, so he couldn't deny seeing her again would be a good thing.
The next day, Kazuto woke up, to find that Rias, and Yumi were in his bed, fully naked. Their forms clung to his own, while Kazuto laid there in his boxers. He usually went to bed alone, but it seemed that both Rias and Yumi came accustomed to coming to his room late at night, and wished to share a bed.
Rias said it brought her, and hopefully Kazuto himself, comfort, while Yumi said that she thought they would be able to get to know one another even more.
When he woke up, he felt two sets of breasts hugging against his face.
It was like a paradise for any man, and he was no exception, he couldn't deny the beauty of both Rias and Yumi, and he did like both of them, he knew Yumi more, but Rias was also a girl he liked.
Yumi was already awake by the time that Kazuto woke up, and she adopted an apologetic face. "I'm sorry Kazuto-kun for coming so late."
"Don't worry, its alright." He bequeathed her a smile.
Yumi in turn smiled, and lightly runs her fingers through Kazuto's hair. "By the way, while Buchou is asleep, can I ask you something?"
Kazuto nods. "What is it?"
"Buchou's seemed a bit distracted lately, as if something is on her mind. Has she said anything to you about it?"
Kazuto shakes his head. "Nothing at all."
Yumi furrowed her eyebrows. "I wonder what's going on?"
Kazuto gave a reassuring look, his hand gently laying on her face.
She snuggled against said hand, and peered into her eyes with a sweet smile.
"Don't worry about Buchou, I'm sure whatever it is, is going to be taken care of soon enough, and we're here for her too."
Yumi glanced at the sleeping Buchou, and fondly smiled.
Yumi then looked to Kazuto, leaning closer, as her lips gently push against his cheek.
When she did, her face tinged red, while his cheeks gained a small flush. "Kazuto-kun…"
Kazuto bequeathed a smile to the girl, his hand finding her face gently stroking her cheek. "You're very cute Yumi-chan~"
Yumi flushes a little, moving her face to his own, and used her cheek to nuzzle against his own.
It felt like paradise being cuddled against by two beautiful women.
And when Rias finally woke up, she adopts a small smile.
"Ara, so its your idea to be like this is it Yumi? You're a very bold girl after all." Yumi flushes even more, while Rias runs her fingers to Kazuto's face. "Though, Kazuto does have a good face, I can see why you like snuggling against it. Even I have thought about it a few times."
"We should do it together, Buchou." Yumi offered.
Rias smile grows bigger. "Yes, lets do it together, my adorable Knight."
Kazuto felt even more like he was in paradise, as two beautiful women snuggled against his form, their cheeks rubbing against his own, their breasts pushed up against him, their warm bodies held closely to his own.
It was truly a wonderful feeling.
As they were together, the door opened, and Ravel walks inside, her eyes on some papers in her hand, begins speaking without looking.
"Good morning Kazuto-sama, I thought I should start by offering my services…"
She paused when she looked up, seeing both Yumi and Rias clinging to Kazuto, their chests pressed up against his form.
Her face flew through several shades of red, her eyes squinting at Rias, and looked astonished.
Rias turned her neck to the side, while Kazuto read the room, knowing something more was going on than what was being verbally said right now.
"R-Rias-sama, everyone…w-what a surprise, I didn't know your relationship was…" Ravel's cheeks flush even hotter red than before, her eyes looking everywhere but at them, Kazuto thought she probably felt shy about the situation. "I'm sorry, I came in without, b-but your grandmother said it would be okay, s-so…"
Kazuto resisted the urge to slap himself in the head, he could see Augusta doing that for her own kind of fun.
Inhaling, Kazuto adopts a small smile. "Morning, Ravel-san."
Ravel's face flew through several shades of red, she decided to keep her eyes on the paper before her face.
"I, I was asked by Sirzechs-sama to come and assist you, Kazuto-sama."
"Assist me with what?" Kazuto asks, not sure what she was talking about.
"H, He asked me to assist you Kazuto-sama on your requests, among other things…including that of people applying to be in Kazuto-sama's peerage."
Kazuto wasn't aware Sirzechs would even ask Ravel to do that, though if Sirzechs was suggesting it to her, he must've believed in her abilities.
"Are you sure you've got the time? I'm sure that you're busy with your Devil life, and what not."
Ravel shakes her head. "I have free time, I'm perfectly fine with helping you Kazuto-sama. You did save my life after all, I wanted a way to thank you for that, so when I was speaking about you, Sirzechs-sama said that you're going to have a hard time now that you're a King to a peerage, with many duties being thrown your way."
"I could use all the help anyone's willing to give me, and if Sirzechs-san is suggesting you, I can't complain. He's always had a good eye."
Ravel's heart dances in her chest. "Y-Yes, I, I have good skills at organization, and I could help you shift through different things, such as peerage requests, requests for your peerage from others, setting up a base for your group, managing those that wish to see you, and…"
Kazuto heard her rattle off what she would be really good in, it sounded almost like she was interviewing for a role in a job, which he did find to be pretty cute by how she was still avoiding eye contact despite speaking directly to him.
"Well, it seems like you've thought about it a good deal. If you want to be that for me, then I'd be very grateful. Thank you."
Ravel flushes several shades of red, and gives a simple nod.
When her eyes shift up, she catches the sight of Kazuto's muscular upper body, her cheeks becoming rosy, swiftly turning, muttering "I'll wait downstairs!" and took off, leaving the three in bed together curiously staring on.
Getting down the stairs, he saw that Ravel was sat near Asia, who in turn showed her cute little smile.
"Good morning Asia-san~"
"Morning~"
Kazuto smiled, and sat down next to the former nun, looking towards Ravel.
"Are you okay now Ravel-san?" Kazuto said with a frivolous tone.
Ravel nods her head. "I, erm…yes, I'm good. S-So, I came here because Sirzechs-sama asked me to come and inform you about the Devils asking after you in regards to taking a wife."
Asia blushed up a storm. "A-A wife?!"
Ravel nods, showing a calm face. "Its because Kazuto-sama comes from a strong family, and the powers Kazuto-sama has, the Underworld would be very excited to have Kazuto-sama…how to say this…"
"Share it with the Underworld in the form of children." Kazuto finished off.
Ravel was glad he was on the same page as she was. "Yes, that's right. Its why Sirzechs-sama asked me to come and give you a run down of what's been happening with the different meetings about your presence now coming back to the Underworld."
Kazuto nods, and lets Ravel explain.
While she was, Asia was stunned to hear that Kazuto's presence had caused the Underworld to become rather serious about him finding a wife in the near future, while not seemingly taking Kazuto's heart into consideration, and who he'd want to be with.
When Ravel finished, Kazuto placed a finger to his chin. "So, they'd be satisfied if I took a Pure Blooded Devil bride, is that right?"
"Yes, the Old Devils are…eager for you to...procreate…" Ravel's cheeks flushed, Kazuto could see that despite her mature nature, she still was an innocent girl at heart, which he found adorable. "…So, they wish for you to find a bride pretty soon. And I have applications from a number of Pure Blooded Devils."
Asia's face took a dip. "It seems cruel to Kazuto-san though."
"The Underworld…well, when I say Underworld, I should clarify I mean part of the Underworld, as not everyone is as stressed about it, but there are very powerful figureheads that wish to see the Sekiryuutei's power spreading throughout the Underworld."
Asia nods sadly, so Kazuto gently took Asia's hand and held her digits between his fingers. "Don't worry about it Asia-san, this is just part of being a Devil from certain clans. It happens all of the time, I'm sure that people like Buchou and Kaichou have gone or going through it."
Kazuto could see Asia looking down, he could tell she truly was a kind and sweet girl, looking out for his best intentions, wanting to be a good friend, and not wanting to have Kazuto to go through such things that could be difficult for him.
Ravel then continued.
"So, I was thinking Kazuto-sama, would you like assistance? There have been many that have been sent, if the Underworld are adamant about it, the Old Devils in particular, then I thought I could be of service."
"That's very generous of you, Ravel-san. I'd really like that, thank you."
Ravel's happiness grew, nodding to herself over and over again. "Yes, I understand! Then I shall compile all of the requests for marriage, and get started right away! Do you have preferences? Because I can filter out those that don't meet certain requirements."
Kazuto was blind sided by how enthused she was.
Though he couldn't deny he thought it was an intriguing situation he was currently in, and that she'd be quite the good assistant.
Getting to class that day, Kazuto went in together with Asia, where Kiryuu was already grinning. She had spoken with Asia, he thought it was good she was gaining friends, yet he didn't want the pure girl to be corrupted by the perverted Kiryuu.
"Hmm, Asia-chan, good morning~"
"Good morning~" Asia greets like the angelic girl that she was, a sweet beautiful smile radiating on her face.
Though his vision soon was clouded by a dark cloud known as Kiryuu's perverseness, seeing her eyes gleaming, her glasses sparkling like stars, and looks towards Kazuto, her grin growing on her face more and more.
"Would you like to tell me more about your powers of gaining girlfriends, Kazuto-kun?" Kiryuu said it while lowering her eyes, showing a wide smile. "Because, the girls are going to enjoy the equipment that you've got. Can I see your fingers?"
"No."
Kiryuu let out a small huff. "Why?"
"Because I know you'll make a lewd joke about finger…I'm not getting sucked in by your perverseness. And don't corrupt Asia-san."
Kiryuu giggled, noticing Asia's cheeks becoming ruby red. "Its alright, Asia-chan and I are becoming better acquainted. Word is that you live together~"
Asia smiles enchantingly. "We do live together~"
Kazuto felt like that was fuel for her fire, and soon saw the young perverted woman showing a gleaming grin that Kazuto knew was her thinking about a number of things that he didn't want Asia to have to worry about.
"Do you share a bed with him, Asia?"
Asia's face turns a cute tomato red colour, putting her hands on her hot face. "W-We don't share a bed. B-But if Kazuto-san asked, then I would…!"
Kazuto blinks, surprised she'd say that.
Though Kiryuu thought it was incredible all the same. "Good, good. It seems that you're progressing at an incredible rate. To be honest, ever since you came onto the scene, I've been quietly routing for you both."
"Quietly?" Kazuto asked incredulously.
Kiryuu smirked. "Fine, loudly routing for you to get together, and I think you'd be a good couple. Who else than two blondes, that adore one another, and even live together. Though I'm also gunning for the Yumi and Kazuto route as well. Maybe you'll just have to have a harem, because you know, its the best route after all~"
Asia's bottom lip fumbles, as she thinks about what Kiryuu was saying.
Kazuto looked amused. "Honestly, you're a wild girl."
Kiryuu grins. "Asia-chan, I know certain things about Kazuto-kun there that can help you gain ground!"
"Ooh my, really?" Asia took a good interest, and Kazuto saw that her eyes looked rather pleased.
"That's right." Kiryuu nods strongly. "Leave it with me, and I'll tell you the way to Kazuto-kun's heart. Including his love of certain anime and manga, his favourite colours, and all sorts of other things~"
"Ooh! Thank you very much!"
Kazuto wanted to stop Asia from being too corrupted.
But when he saw her having a good time as she began speaking with Kiryuu, Kazuto saw Asia was gaining an even closer relationship with a friend, he was happy for Asia.
Later on, Kazuto had been requested by Akeno to meet up in person, so when it became lunch, Kazuto walked towards the Occult Research Club, going into the building, and glanced down the long dark corridor, feeling Gasper's presence somewhat out of her normal room, so he decided to move towards the door.
When he did, he saw the door open, and came out the shy little Vampire girl, her fingers pushing together, her eyelashes fluttering in a cute manner.
She approached him, as he bent down to her level, his hand lightly petting the top of her head, Gasper's cheeks staining crimson at his touch.
"How're you doing Gasper-san?"
"G-Good~" Gasper let out a cute voice.
She was a little nervous still of many things, but Kazuto thought Gasper was trying hard to become more confident, so he did his best to support her.
"That's good, because I've been in contact with Azazel, and he's been working on ways to help you contain your Sacred Gears powers as we get to work on controlling your Sacred Gear. That Azazel, he's quite dependable, so I'm sure in the next few days, we'll see what he's got going on. And I had a thought about how maybe if you drunk my blood, it could help you achieve the ability to control your Sacred Gear as well."
Gasper's eyes flicker, happiness spreading on her shy face. "R-Really Senpai?"
"Yeah, then we can fully get to work. Let me know when you're ready."
"A-Anytime, w-with you Senpai!" Her energetic yet still somewhat shy voice managed to come out.
Kazuto's lips curl up. "Great, then I've got a little training regime already prepared, how about we start tomorrow?"
"Y-Yes! I, I'd love too Senpai!" Gasper cheered out, as her eyes flicker, and moments later, her Sacred Gear activated.
She panicked, feeling the power beginning to build up.
But before she could fully use her power, Kazuto vanished from sight, confusing the Vampire.
He then laid his hands on her shoulders from behind, whispering "Its alright, I've got you." in a tone that made Gasper feel completely safe.
He activated magical circles from his palms, and used them on Gasper.
Moments later, Gasper felt her rampaging Sacred Gear stopping, so she turned around with a sad face.
"S-Sorry Senpai..."
"It's alright, that's why we'll work together, yeah?" Kazuto said in assurance.
Gasper felt a pulse from her heart, her head crushing against his chest.
So he raised a hand to the back of her head, strumming his fingers through her blonde hair, hugging the young Vampire comfortingly.
After spending a good deal of time with Gasper, Kazuto then went up the flight of stairs, he found his way into the Occult Research Clubroom, and going inside, he saw that Akeno was waiting inside, so he walked to the young woman, adopting a light hearted smile.
"Hey, Akeno-san. Is everything alright?"
Akeno adopts a light smile as he sits down beside her. "Ara, thank you for coming Kazuto-kun. I've been hearing from your new Rook that you're going to be meeting someone today. Incidentally, I would like to discuss a topic that I heard Ravel-san is helping you with."
"The wedding stuff huh. Yeah, Ravel-san is assisting me with that, all I can say is that I'll have to see what's going on with them."
Akeno slowly nods, her mind drifting to her own King. "By the way, do you like Buchou?"
"As in, friend, or more?"
"Anything." Akeno replies, Kazuto got to thinking.
"She's been a good friend to me, and I think we get along very well. We, sometimes have little moments together, when we're alone together, and…well, I think she's a cool girl, and I'd love to get to know more of her."
Akeno nods strongly. "I can tell she really does like you a good deal, just the other day I heard her speak about you for a long time."
Kazuto was glad to hear that. "By the way, Akeno-san…you know, I have been making contact with some old friends and I was thinking about something, regarding you."
Akeno tilts her neck. "What is it?"
"Your cousin, Suzaku-san. You haven't spoken with her in a good while, have you?"
Akeno shakes her head, holding her head down, and breathes through her nose. "I wish that I could do, but the clans…I don't know how much you're aware of the circumstances of what happened, if Suzaku ever said anything…"
"She told me about her cousin, and I guess she was referring to you."
Akeno blinks rapidly. "So, w-what did she say?"
"A Fallen Angels half human child, apart of her clan…I remember seeing her pained face when she was speaking about you. Its why, I've been getting in touch with her."
Akeno widens her eyes. "Kazuto-kun…"
"Would you like to meet her again?"
Akeno's bottom lip quivered, the thought of meeting her cousin again after so long, and the fact that he was trying so hard for her, really did touch her heart.
"Are you sure its possible?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that we can. We worked together some in the past, and she was nice to me. If we're able to, then you'd want too?"
Akeno nods eagerly. "Yes, I'd love too."
Kazuto reached out his hand, patting her own hand gently. "Then, leave it with me, and I'll do my best for you, Akeno-san."
Akeno felt it deep within her chest, how hard he was trying for her, and she felt appreciation running through her veins, she could see why Koneko seemed attached to him, despite not knowing one another long, he was already trying to make her happy.
"Kazuto-kun, can I ask you a personal question? You don't have to answer it."
"Sure, let me hear it."
Akeno nods, and fumbles with her lower lip. "When you were younger, did your family...what I mean is...did they..."
"Some in my family weren't great to me, lets put it that way."
"…That must've been so hard for you." Akeno empathized, remembering when her own clan came for her years before. "…I, I was also chased by my own family. My Granduncle, he was…he came for me, and he wanted my existence to end. He also killed my…" Akeno stopped, as a tear came to her eye, emotions flooding through her.
Though she didn't reveal it, Kazuto could take a guess on what she was going to say.
Kazuto felt empathy for her, so his arms gently went out, and wrapped around her form.
Akeno was stunned for a few moments.
But his embrace felt so warm and genuine, she really did like it, so she curls up to his form, and allows his strong arms to fully embrace her, her head soon resting up against his chest, as his hand slowly stroked her backs.
"The world really can be cruel…they've done a lot to you in your life, haven't they?"
"Yeah…" Akeno bequeathed a smile, as she dried her eyes. "Thank you, Kazuto-kun. You really do understand me quite a bit…you know, when I first met Buchou, she really has been good to me, I really admire how she did her best for me."
"She's a good person." Kazuto said softly, continuing to embrace the young girl tightly. "Leave setting up a meeting with Suzaku-san to me, I'll do my best, hopefully you two can happily talk again after so long. I know if it was someone from my family I cared about, I'd want the same opportunity."
Akeno couldn't deny that she truly was happy that she could potentially speak with Suzaku very soon, after so long had passed.
Even if just a single conversation, she'd take it to spend time with the family she hasn't seen in such a long time, and looked at Kazuto with more feelings than she had before, beginning to see what Yumi and Koneko liked about Kazuto a good deal.
When the time came, Kazuto waited for a certain magician to arrive. It had been a long time coming, and he could see why the girl would be hesitant to come around, including the fact that his grandmother and she didn't have the best relationship.
Koneko was present, and so was Augusta.
When her magic circle appeared on the floor, Kazuto sucked in some air, wondering how the years had changed her.
The woman's form was shown, and he was immediately blind sided by her beauty. She looked even better than he remembered. Her chest was even bigger than Rias's own, her gentle smile could only be matched by the kindness in her heart, a very lovely young woman wearing a cute magician outfit, that looked amazing on her.
When she met his eye, her long blonde hair swayed in the air, her smile growing beautifully on her face.
"Kazuto-kun~!" The woman leaps into his arms.
Kazuto's face was about to hit her chest, so he mentally called "Ddraig!" knowing that he had a complex about being hugged by women with large chests, then he heard [Thanks partner!, allowing Ddraig to turn fully off, as Lavinia's chest crushes against Kazuto face.
Her hand gently pats the back of his head, while he smiled lightly, feeling her long soft fingers running through his own blonde hair, the young man though then felt a burning gaze on him.
So he looked, and saw Koneko looking at him with narrowing eyebrows.
"Ooh my, its sooooo good to see you, Kazu-kun, my cute little…well, not so little anymore. You've grown into a very handsome man~"
"T-Thanks, Lavinia-san. Its been too long, I'm glad you're okay."
Lavinia lightly pats the back of his head, earning a look of ire from Koneko.
Though it soon became cold, when Lavinia locked eyes onto Augusta.
The pair exchanged glances, and almost instantly, ice and flames began to sprout forth all around them, Koneko leaps back as Lavinia gains a serious face, Augusta doing the very same thing, eyes meeting in a very strong way.
"You, Augusta, Witch of the East…" Lavinia's eyes were looking difficultly at Augusta, recalling their previous meetings.
"It seems you're doing well." Augusta raised her neck, staring into Lavinia's eyes.
"Yes, I've been doing very well."
"I have as well." Augusta spoke calmly, and in an elegant manner.
Lavinia felt a wave of emotion flowing through her being, and she wasn't sure entirely what to do.
Kazuto felt the cold and heat from both sides.
"Remember, this is a nice peaceful meeting." Seeing the agitation on both of their faces, Kazuto inhaled, and tried to calm the situation. "Lavinia-san, Grams…"
Lavinia peered into the young man's blue eyes, noting his kindness sweeping over her like a warm gentle blanket, and it caused her heart to become more at ease than it was beforehand, though she still had a difficult feeling throughout her body.
"I'm sorry, I thought I had prepared myself. But when I saw her again, I thought about the past encounters we had." Lavinia said with her neck bowed down. "With what happened…Augusta."
Kazuto saw Augusta run a hand through her threads of hair, looking towards Lavinia with her eyebrows knitting together.
Lavinia pulls her neck to the side. "Coming to see Kazu-kun is what I wished to do, but with Augusta being here as well…"
Augusta folds her arms. "He is my grandson."
Kazuto breathes slowly, and pulls closer to Lavinia. "Lavinia-san, I know you and Grams originally came from different magicians groups, and you both have a…lets say, differing feelings for one another. But Grams did protect me for a good few years."
Lavinia looks towards Kazuto, and sees his gentle eyes on her.
She couldn't hide herself from being suckered into such blue looking eyes, remaining her of sparkling oceans.
"If Kazu-kun is saying it then…I'll trust in you."
Kazuto let out a relieved breath, glad that Lavinia had that much trust in him.
"Thank you. And you Grams?" Augusta said nothing so Kazuto pulled closer. "Grams, she's also important to me. Please, for me?"
Augusta releases a small breath, giving a nod. "Of course dear, the past is in the past. I can leave it there if she can."
Lavinia focuses her eyes upon Augusta, who does the same thing.
"…I can do such things." Lavinia finally said after a few moments of silence.
"Wonderful, then lets have some tea." Augusta travelled to the kitchen.
Kazuto looks to Lavinia, noticing her face falling a little, so his hand reached out, and gently brushed against her own. "I know you and Grams have history, but she's genuinely been good to me. I promise you."
Lavinia could see the compassion in his eyes, and simply nods her head.
Koneko watched how Kazuto was able to dispel the worries between the two of them immediately.
Later on, after spending time with Augusta which felt awkward due to their shared past, Kazuto and Lavinia went to an area alone with no one else around so they could catch up on a few things, and were conversing about what happened after they last saw one another, among other things.
"So, you've been in Japan this entire time?" Lavinia asked with surprise.
"Yeah."
Lavinia let out a sad breath. "I'm sorry about before, when I saw her face again, I recalled what happened in the past."
Kazuto could fully understand her thoughts. "I know it was a tough time with what happened with Grams…"
"Yes, but she is your grandmother, and I care about you, so I'll be civil~"
Kazuto could feel the kindness radiating from her, so his hand found hers.
She lightly smiled, as he did the same thing right back.
"Trust in me, Grams…I know you've had difficulty with her in the past, but she's on my side. What happened between you two…I wouldn't let anything happen to either of you, she's my Grams, but you're also my very close friend, and I missed you, so much."
Lavinia's eyes begin to become teary, embracing Kazuto into her chest.
He managed in time to warn Ddraig, who thanked him.
"My gentle Sekiryuutei, who could calm the wild Hakuryuukou. You know, Va-chan never gave up looking for you. Even when everyone said it was hopeless, and that you were dead, she kept looking for you, and I did too."
Kazuto was happy to hear that, since they had been through a lot together.
"Yeah, I'm grateful I have people who care about me so much. I'm glad that she's okay, and you too. How's Tobio-kun doing?"
"Ooh, he's fine~ You know how he is, sticking to the shadows, and what not." She giggled enchantingly.
"I figured it would be like that." Kazuto said amusingly. "By the way, Lavinia-san, can I ask you a question?"
Lavinia smiles. "Yes?"
Kazuto eagerly claps his hands together. "How about a little match?"
Lavinia raises her hand to her mouth and giggles beautifully. "You are like Va-chan aren't you?"
"I enjoy the thrill of a battle, I must admit. Besides, I want to see how strong you are Lavinia-san. And you know me, I love the power of ice, its so beautiful, though I recall beginning to like ice ever since I saw your Longinus for the first time, it was dazzling to me."
Lavinia smiles strongly, and raised her hand to the sky.
From that, a cold chill fills the area, and Kazuto could feel his body getting colder as a result.
Though a releasing of his aura soon rid him of the ice that threatened to grow on his body.
Lavinia turned to Kazuto, as something formed behind her.
Kazuto saw a three meter looking doll began to form, completely out of ice. The doll began taking form as a woman in a dress without a face with six eyes on the left half of her face, while things similar to wild roses protrude on the right side and four large thin arms.
Ice flooded the area, while Kazuto cracks his neck side to side, getting ready for the challenge, thrusting his left arm up to the sky, and formed the Boosted Gear, which resounded a great sound of [Boost!] which was a sound Lavinia liked to hear, and hadn't in a good long time.
"Here I come Kazu-kun~"
The Longinus responded to Lavinia's will, sweeping its arms forward, and from that, several shards of ice formed in the air, firing off towards Kazuto. The ice grew thicker, and thicker, those shards soon turning into more like spears.
So Kazuto answered it with his own power, thrusting out his hand, summoning his radiant demonic power, and allowed his hand to fire off strong bursts, colliding with the ice, generating a huge explosion that extends up to the sky, cancelling one another's out.
"It seems you haven't lost your touch~" Lavinia sings, as ice begins to spread further.
Like a wave, it came for Kazuto ready to freeze him solid.
More than that, Kazuto saw from the ground, ice was erupting into pillars, and all were heading right for him.
So he breathes in fast and hard, sucking in a lungful of air, and then opens his mouth.
From that, a beautiful wave of fire erupts out, clashing with the ice of Lavinia's.
The ice and fire, polar opposites to one another, create a spectacular display between them, fighting for dominance between them. In the years since they had parted, Lavinia had become even stronger, and her Longinus certainly was very strongly handled by the young woman.
Even then, the flames Kazuto breathed out were very strong, like that of a Dragon, and when he heard another [Boost!] the flames grew even stronger, forcing the spears of ice to melt, and the wave of ice to be burned away.
"Ooh no, that's a strong attack you've released, Kazu-kun. But I've also got some stuff for you to see."
Lavinia opened up her arms, and from her extending hands, she began using her powers to create magical circles.
From the magical circles, he saw a myriad of magical spells firing off.
So he dispelled his fire, and thrust his hand into the sky, forming a magic circle as well.
"Defend against the wild attack~" Kazuto thrust his hand out, forming magical barriers. Thick strong layers of barriers that were sturdy enough that even the strong magician Lavinia was impressed by his defensive magic abilities.
The different magical attacks slam into the barriers, seeing she wasn't able to fully break through with her magic immediately, then he releases his power, crushing the magical powers with his own power, causing the spells to cease to exist.
"Absolute Demise!" Lavinia raised her Longinus's power, as it thrusts its hands out, shooting out numerous lances of ice, activating her magic to increase her destructive might.
Combining together, the ice and magic power combined beautifully, coming at him so rapidly that he didn't expect anything different from Lavinia, who was highly talented, so he dropped the barriers, and sprints off at high speeds.
But Kazuto was fast, and began avoiding the attacks, taking to the sky, and used his speed to blitz away from the magic and ice chasing after him like homing attacks, so he summons his incredible flames, and releases a burst of fire, smashing them against the magic and ice attacks, keeping the bombardment at bay, while Lavinia cutely knits her brows together.
"Have this!" Kazuto saw an opening, and cupped his hand, forming a sphere of demonic power, launching it like a cannonball.
It fired roughly through the air, and managed to get near Lavinia's body.
She adopted a cute scowl, and her Longinus attempted to freeze it in place.
However, before the ice could fully form, she was surprised that the demonic power exploded, as she saw numerous explosion spells laced within the demonic power, using his inherent magical talents.
The explosion forced Lavinia to cover herself in a shell of ice to protect herself, as well as using defensive magic to block the explosion, and she saw that it an incredible display of powers.
[Boost!]
She heard a third boost coming from behind her.
So she looked, and saw that he had used the explosion as a distraction, coming in hot and heavy with his demonic power surrounding his hands, strengthening his combat prowess, and knew Lavinia wasn't someone who did hand to hand combat like this.
"You are a naughty boy Kazu-kun." Lavinia swayed her hands, and formed many ice arrows.
She made them in the matter of a few seconds, and they launched towards Kazuto's form in a brilliant burst, attempting to take him down.
So he thrust out his hands, unleashing his violent demonic power in a burst of energy, coupled with some explosion magic added onto it, enhanced by his Boosted Gear, made him incredibly dangerous, shattering the ice arrows completely, and continued on for her body at a rapid rate.
However, suddenly explosions fizzled out to her confusion, only to see Kazuto firing himself forward, getting right before her.
"No!" Lavinia saw Absolute Demise create a spear of ice from the ground, shooting up to stop Kazuto coming closer.
Kazuto however managed to breathe out an incredible flame that countered the ice spear, managing to stop it moments before it came close to him, their hands connecting together, eyes on one another.
"Excellent~ That was fun~" Kazuto grins, deactivating his Boosted Gear.
Lavinia giggled, and put away her ice doll and her magic. "It was fun to see you fighting again Kazu-kun. I've heard you've even got a peerage now~"
"Yeah, though only have my adorable Koneko-chan right now. Need a good Queen beside me." He mused.
Lavinia adopted a light smile. "I wont let anyone not good enough to be my Kazu-kun's Queen~"
"Only the best, huh?" Kazuto teased.
Lavinia giggled. "Only the best~"
Kazuto had truly missed her and her gentle smile, her radiant expressions.
She truly was a sweet honest girl that he was glad to have in his life again.
When Kazuto returned home that day, he casually went to go and get some stuff that he'd need from the fridge to make some food.
There, he saw that Asia was already cooking some food, so he walked closer.
"Need a hand?"
Asia turns with a big smile. "Augusta-san is teaching me how to cook."
Kazuto glanced around, not seeing her. "So if Grams is teaching you, where is she?"
"Ooh, she had to step out, she said she received a call."
Kazuto slowly nods, moving closer. "Then why don't I teach you how to cook Asia-san?"
Asia gasps. "You know how?"
"Grams taught me, she said it would be good skills if I ever became a husband, saying good husbands need certain skills to be the best they can be, and cooking was one of them."
Asia giggles with her cheeks turning a little redder. "Do you want to be one, Kazuto-san? The Devils, they seem eager about it, don't they?"
"You can say that again." Kazuto sighed. "I already knew once I made myself known again, they'd pull tricks like this. But its alright, maybe I'll find someone I end up really liking."
Asia shined her smile, while Kazuto began guiding Asia on how to cook decent meals.
They chopped up some vegetables, while Kazuto thought about who they'd try and force an engagement onto, as he didn't want anyone to ever be put into that position because of the Old Devils.
"Kazuto-san, do you want to get married one day?" Asia suddenly asks.
Kazuto tilts his head in thought. "One day for sure."
Asia's smile grows on her gentle face. "I'm glad! Though, I think marrying someone you don't love, is a sad and lonely thing."
Kazuto nods in agreement. "Yeah, unfortunately that's how some Devils think. For the greater good of the Devils population, or keeping the Devils Pure Blood, though that isn't really the thing in my case, but its mainly driven by things like that."
As he spoke, she recalled Kazuto speaking about his peerage, it being his family.
Asia purses her lips. "Kazuto-san, have you found anyone for your family yet?"
"I have been asked by a few people, and Koneko-chan did have a suggestion for me. Though, I don't know if…" Kazuto peered at the young blonde girl. "Tell me Asia-san, how do you like your current life?"
Asia tilts her neck. "I'm enjoying living with you Kazuto-san! Everyday is a new adventure~"
"Yeah, its always an interesting time~" Kazuto said with amusement. "Why I asked, is because Koneko-chan suggested to me, about you, potentially joining my group."
Asia's cheeks became flush. "M, Me?"
"You're a former nun, so I'm not sure if a Devils life is appealing to you. But I thought I'd throw it out there, in the event that you'd want to ever join a peerage, I'd love if you did come to my group, but it would be your decision of course. Though for me, I didn't even need to think about it, I really do like you Asia-san, and you being in my group, it would be really great."
Asia hadn't even considered it.
But as he spoke about it, Asia couldn't help but think, it might not be so bad, to be with Kazuto in his group.
"Join your group…be with you, Kazuto-san..."
"Yeah, I thought it was a pretty interesting idea, but I'd totally get if you wouldn't want to, since you were a nun. But if you'd want to, I'd be more than happy to have you. Even if you don't, you're always welcome to stay here with us, with me, if that's what you want."
Asia began thinking about his words, and thought how they could be together, living together in Kazuto's building family, she did like that idea a good deal.
Kazuto then continued helping Asia along with her cooking skills, and Asia stared at the young man with a small smile, genuine sweetness radiating from the young girl.
Meanwhile, Rias casually sat at her desk, and was going over a few reports.
She was thinking about a number of things that had happened lately, including being captured by Walburga, meeting the Sekiryuutei she heard of as a child, among other things.
As she was about to finish, Kazuto came in, surprising her a good deal.
"Kazuto, I wasn't expecting you here. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, I was just finishing up a little training with Gasper-san."
Rias adopts a small smile. "Thank you about Gasper, I can see she's beginning to come out of her shell more. She talks about you a good deal, it seems she's beginning to like you."
"Yeah, Gasper-sans really sweet, I like her too~"
Rias was happy to hear that. "And with your connections to Azazel, that bracelet you gave her seems to be doing a good trick, in allowing her to not activate her Sacred Gear unwillingly. How's the training going so far?"
Kazuto moves closer. "She's doing well, though it was only our first session, for someone that hates being out of her room, she's able to control her nerves with encouragement. I'm sure that she'll be able to come even more out of her shell pretty soon, and my idea about using my blood, seems to be helping her along as well."
Rias looked relieved. "I'm glad to hear she's becoming more confident."
Kazuto pulls up to her desk, and sits on the edge nearby. "Yeah. Though even before this, she came out of her room to try and help you, with Walburga and the likes, and now she tells me she wishes to be stronger for you."
Rias was glad to hear Gasper's thoughts about her.
But then she recalled the situation with Walburga, and furrowed her eyebrow. "Walburga...at that time, I wish I could've fought harder against her. I'm glad it worked out well, but because of that, you got burned by holy flames..."
Hearing her disheartened tone, he offered her a kind smile. "That wasn't your fault, it was the faults of Walburga, and whoever is working together with her. And if its about strength, well I can sense a good deal of potential in you."
Rias's lips curl up. "You do?"
"Yeah, if you want we could train together?"
Rias's eyes fluttered. "Being trained by the Sekiryuutei, huh."
"Yeah, I'd be more than happy too~ The Power of Destruction, its a strong power, I'm sure with honing your power, you'd become pretty powerful. And it isn't like you're alone either~"
Rias blinks. "What do you mean?"
Kazuto adopts a small smile. "Your peerage, they clearly love you, each of them have told me they care and wish for the best for you. And they'd do anything to help you, like I'm sure you would them."
Rias's smile matched the fond look in her eyes. "Yeah...I adore them all."
Kazuto gently laces his fingers with her own. "And you know, I'd be there if you ever need me, Rias-san, nothing would get in my way."
Rias's face flushes. "Kazuto..."
Kazuto's smile grows pulling her to her feet. "Asia-sans cooking, so I also came to ask if you'd want to come for some dinner."
Rias nods strongly. "I'd really like that."
Rias leans up, and kisses him on the cheek.
His cheek lightly flushes, as she holds his hand tightly, and show their soft smiles to one another.
Wordlessly, the pair leave together.
Hearing his words, Rias felt contentment in her heart.
Her being complimented in strength made her heart dance.
But what made her the most happy was hearing, he'd be there for her, no matter what.

So this chapter had Ravel officially thanks to Sirzechs become Kazuto's manager, and she wastes no time getting to business, even if being caught in surprise to see what was going on with Kazuto, Rias and Yumi. Asia's been asked to join the peerage, a suggestion from Koneko, with Kazuto, so we'll see how that goes. Kazuto's also helping out Gasper, and they're becoming closer. Rias is also dealing with her situation as Kazuto deals with his own, and are becoming closer together.
And finally, Lavinia came into the story, with Kazuto wasting no time in having a little spar with her, and having a good time together with her, though things between her and Augusta aren't on the best of terms, those familiar with Slash Dog will be aware of their relationship, a little changed for this story but more of what occurred between them shall be shown as the story goes on.
