A/N: Thank you for the 500 Follows! Funnily enough, I was planning to make this chapter's title 'A Calm Before Storm' then I rethink again, what storm?

uchiha-rune: Yup, and you have to wait and see!

ProjectIceman: Oh, you have no idea…

AnimeFan13579: Sorry, your prediction is a bit off here. Covering up Gates is no longer their plan given that Gang Orca alone decided to teach and reveal the existence of magic in UA.

Daemon of Wrath: Yup. And no, if your soul is strong enough, you won't get completely erased but unfortunately, you face a fate worse than death. As for Gentle, I know he's not old, but I describe him based on his physical appearance. No offense to Gentle, but he could be mistaken as a 50-year-old grandpa. As for the Hazy Snow, Izuku will hate Monarch in the future for taking over his friends, but he will not put them through such a horrible fate. You have to wait and see.

Whitemare: Sorry, but putting an OP in fanfic is my greatest weakness, and I'm going to fumble it. Also, it's not 'almost a host', Bakugou IS the host for Baran. For David, if he pulls an Edna, then he'll be a complete hypocrite since he did make capes for All Might's Bronze Age costume. For the School Festival, that's….an interesting choice…

Kouteikuro: True, but from the story's perspective, Eijirou's physical strength and skill make him a much better choice of host for Baran. As for Baran getting revenge on Shadow Monarch, spoilers alert: Nah, Izuku'll win.

Midoriya Household

Musutafu, Japan

"…." Izuku can be seen sitting at the dining table, frowning at the situation as he eats his breakfast. Igris, Mamoru, Levi (A/N: Both beasts are in their small form, like Beru in SL: R), and Makoa can be seen sitting around Izuku, looking at him in worry.

Ever since Igris has told what he found, involving Shoto Todoroki, the son of Endeavor, who possesses magic, possibly the one responsible for crippling Endeavor, and might've allied with Sillad, Izuku grows worried. Monarchs are completely unknown enemies to Izuku and the only way to prepare against such monsters is to grow even stronger. But, he can't help to notice that his growth has slowed down since he reached Level 115. And it didn't help that now he has school, he can't continue to climb the Demon Tower with his friends.

Then, another surprising piece of news appears in the form of Mitsuki Bakugou and her husband, Masaru Bakugou informing his mom that Bakugou had gone missing and didn't return since he ran off. Izuku didn't know how to process the news. Sure, he might no longer care about Bakugou, but hearing him disappear makes him unsure how he feels. Living for 10 months without Bakugou breathing down his neck is very liberating, but he knows Bakugou is still out there. When he's in UA, he encounters him again but he feels apathetic towards him. Now, that he's truly gone, he…has no idea how to react except feeling heartbroken by the fact that both his mom's closest friends broke down in front of the door.

Right now, his mind is completely occupied with those two pieces of information and his mind runs 100 miles per hour, wondering how should he deal with this. His enhanced intelligence continues to work but he always finds a roadblock, mostly in the form of a worst-case scenario. He let out a sigh as veins throbbed on his forehead.

"My lord?" Izuku looks at Igris who gives him a concerned look. "Are you okay?"

"No…" Izuku says with a sigh. "Things have just got more complicated."

"Apologies…" Igris mutters.

"Don't be, I prefer being informed than being kept in the dark," Izuku says before getting up and finishing his piece of toast on the plate. "Anything else you would like to report?"

"So far, it's only that," Igris states as Izuku nods.

"Thank you for your hard work," Izuku says before petting Kuro, who chirps happily. "Sorry for giving you all such mundane tasks."

"Nonsense, we were trained for such roles. You have nothing to apologize for, My lord." Igris says as Makoa nods in agreement.

"Love….helping master…" Makoa says. Izuku can't help but smile a bit. Makoa shows some surprising traits. At first, Makoa is seemingly unable to say a single word, then slowly, Makoa starts to talk. Sure, it wasn't the best, but he tried, and that mattered to Izuku.

Also, is it him or does all of his shadow seem to be more illuminated with the dark green light on their bodies? Izuku shakes his head before deciding that it's not something he should be thinking about before returning every one of his Shadows to his shadow and walking out of the apartment. Of course, he didn't forget to talk to his mom before leaving.

As Izuku walks down the apartment, he notices Eijirou standing at the side. He would've greeted him normally if not for him detecting something concerning. Eijirou seems to have slight bags under his eyes and he seems distracted by something. Worried, he tries to approach his best friend.

"Hey, Ei." Eijirou startles before looking at Izuku and lets out a sigh of relief. "Is everything okay, buddy?"

"Y-yeah, everything's fine. Good, even." Eijirou exclaims as Izuku gives him a blank stare, causing Eijirou to sigh, giving up on convincing his best friend. "No, I'm not…"

"What happened?" Izuku asks, his expression shifting to worry.

"Another nightmare again. The voice is getting louder." Eijirou says while rubbing his head before he lets out a loud yawn. Izuku gives him a concerned look, but Eijirou waves it off. "It's nothing you got to worry about, Izu-bro."

"The moment you said that, it's what makes me even more worried," Izuku states. "You're my best friend, how can't I worried about you?"

"Heh…Bakugou has no idea what he has lost…" Eijirou states as Izuku is silent, making the boy confused. "Did I say something wrong?"

"No, just….he's gone missing," Izuku says, surprising Eijirou. "I heard from his parents that he hasn't returned since yesterday evening. They can't even contact him and police are investigating."

"Oh…" Eijirou says, unsure how to react to that. Then, Ochako arrives and greets them warmly, and the boys return the greeting. As they walk, they notice a playground that is burned to the ground and the sand has turned to glass. They look at each other, confusion visible on their face.

Meanwhile, Igris is in Izuku's shadow and widens his eyes as he senses a familiar mana trace from the playground. His hand grips tightly, watching everything from the shadow in concern. It seems that the Monarch has begun to move and he is worried that his young lord isn't fully ready to handle such a threat.

Meanwhile

Class 1-A

As Izuku, Ochako, and Eijirou reach UA, they blink when the front gate is crowded with reporters. Izuku uses his [Absolute Zero] and its returned unique passive to forcefully make the reporters unable to see any of the Hero students and prevent them from harassing them. No one knows that Izuku did it, but they were grateful for it.

As the trio sit in their place, which is located just next to each other, they can't help but overhear so many things from the other students. It seems that the news regarding Bakugou spread like wildfire while they were on their way to UA.

Izuku tries to tune them out, but given his enhanced hearing, it is much more difficult to do so. He wishes that they could just stop talking about Bakugou as he didn't need them unintentionally reminds him of the sad expressions his uncle and aunt have when they talk with his mom. He hates how his enhanced stats could give him such drawbacks.

Thankfully, the conversation is stopped when Aizawa enters the room with a dull expression as everyone immediately returns to their seat and remains silent. Aizawa looks at each of them before nodding in approval.

"Good, you all remain silent in less than 7 seconds. Not fast enough but an improvement." This causes everyone in the class to sweatdrop. "Anyways, you all must've heard of what happened to Bakugou last night. I wish you all to stop talking about it. The police are investigating his disappearance and I would prefer if you all focus on your lessons."

"Y-yes, sir…" They all exclaim as Aizawa nods.

"Now, I have looked through the reports from yesterday's exercise. I had to admit, I was expecting All Might to not have any teaching experience and decided to just let you all into battle." Aizawa nonchalantly states, making everyone sweatdrop even more while the Trinity feel their vein bulging out of their forehead. They can't help but wonder what is with that guy's beef with everything.

"Besides Bakugou, I prefer if you didn't scare the teachers, Midoriya, but besides that, well done finishing the fight as fast as possible." Izuku blinks, not expecting the grump to give a bit of a compliment at all.

"Todoroki, next time you shouldn't underestimate your opponent and try to understand your opponent better." Todoroki merely nods, knowing his flaws.

"Uraraka, try to finish the fight instead of going flashy." Ochako's vein throbbed, annoyed by Aizawa's comment. It's something she can't control about her Celestial Magic, they're flashy as fuck. Then, Aizawa proceeded to criticize every other student available who participated in the fight.

"Now then, I have a task for you that will determine the future of your Heroic Course," Aizawa states, making everyone stiffen except for the Trinity and Todoroki. "You all shall pick your class representative."

In an instant, the entire class erupts, making Izuku, Eijirou, Jirou, and Shoji flinch at the sudden loud noise. Each of the students raises their hand and shouts they want to be the class president, completely out of control until Aizawa glares at everyone, shutting them up instantly.

"As….I was saying, I want you all to choose your class representative, in a civilized manner." Aizawa made sure he emphasized the last part with gritted teeth. "I don't care how you all will choose your representative, but I want you all to do it adequately. Now, if you excuse me."

With that, Aizawa pulls out a sleeping bag and slips into it before he falls asleep, making everyone baffled by his actions. Then, out of nowhere, Iida raises his hand and stands up, adjusting his glasses properly.

"I have an idea, we shall choose our representative through an election," Iida states. "Being a class representative is a heavy responsibility, not everyone here who has the ambitions has the skills to do such tasks. So, my suggestion shall be choosing our representative through an election."

"I doubt that we manage to build enough trust to vote properly, kero. And not to mention, everyone will just vote for themselves." Tsuyu states.

"That's why those who earn multiple votes will be the ones worthy of taking the title!" Iida states.

"I guess that is fair," Momo says before she uses her quirk to create a vote box. "Now, get a piece of paper and start voting."

Later

Izuku can be seen sitting in the cafeteria looking blankly at the bowl of katsudon on the table, his eyes slightly twitching in annoyance. Eijirou and Ochako could only chuckle nervously while Momo, Iida, and Tsuyu seemed confused by his attitude.

"Is something wrong?" Momo asks.

"10 votes…how in the world did I get 10 votes?" Izuku asks in utter disbelief.

"Well, you do seem to be the responsible one out of all of us, kero, and not to mention, you're already shown to be a leader of your trio." Tsuyu bluntly states.

"Yup, that's why we chose you, Izu/Izu-bro!" Ochako and Eijirou exclaim as Izuku gives him a deadpan stare.

"I've been betrayed, backstabbed, and quite possibly, bamboozled," Izuku exclaims as they all laugh at Izuku's words.

"Why are you so insisting on not being a class representative?" Momo asks.

"I had to deal with shit tons of paperwork on my internships already, I don't need to have more paperwork to deal with in my school life," Izuku grumbles while eating his food. Iida, Momo, and Tsuyu blink at his words.

"Internship?" Momo asks.

"Ah, yeah. The three of us need money. Ei and I managed to get into one together and Ochako joined not long after, and the rest is history." Izuku shrugs.

"Wow, you must be lucky to get internships that pay their interns." Tsuyu bluntly states. "What company did you guys work on?"

"Gang Orca's Public Aquarium," Izuku says, not revealing the existence of magic until Gang Orca did it. They didn't want to keep the unintentional running gag where everyone kept finding out because of either three of them going any longer. Izuku yelps when Tsuyu lets out a shocked croak, which is very loud.

"You got to intern with Gang Orca, Kero!?" Tsuyu exclaims in shock.

"Only as an intern that takes care of his public aquarium," Eijirou states nervously.

"Bullshit, kero," Tsuyu bluntly retorts. "That kind of skill with your quirk isn't something a prodigy can do, it's from experience."

"Well….there's a lot of break-ins, so they train us on self-defense," Ochako says while looking away.

"You three are horrible liars." This feels like an avalanche crashing into them and burying them alive.

"That's interesting. I have expected you three to get some sort of mentorship with how skilled you three are, but an internship from Gang Orca isn't what I had in mind." Momo muses. "I was expecting All Might to be the one who taught you three."

"Wow, way to go plus ultra with your prediction," Ochako states as Momo blushes slightly out of embarrassment.

"Anyways, I'm giving my Class Representative role to Yaoyorozu-san. No question asks." Izuku says as Momo blinks.

"I….am grateful, but why me?" Momo asks.

"You're a rich girl but do not act like a spoiled princess, that's enough evidence to say you're a good candidate," Izuku says.

"That's just a stereotype, Midoriya-san," Momo says, frowning a bit. "That could even count as a character trope in fiction."

"Oh, please tell me you didn't truly believe that. You must've gone to a ball and met various rich people, there must be at least one who is spoiled." Izuku says in utter disbelief. Momo wants to retort, but she can't because he's right.

"… Okay, I may have spoken without giving much thought…" Momo mutters in embarrassment.

"Also, Iida," Ochako looks at the boy, who stops sulking in the background. "Why did you not vote for yourself, I mean you seem to want to have the role?"

"Yeah, even you sound like you need the role while you're suggesting the election." Tsuyu bluntly points out, making everyone cover their mouth to hold their laughter while Iida splutters.

"J-just because I want it doesn't mean I am worthy of it," Iida says as he adjusts his glasses.

"Oh, good. Then, I don't need to feel guilty giving the role to Yaoyorozu while forgetting you might want it." In all his life, Iida never felt mentally slapped so hard that it feels like All Might doing it while using a wet towel, and he has no idea why he even imagined it in the first place.

"Oh, by the way, I never got to ask, but what is your relation with Ingenium? Is he your cousin or what?" Izuku asks curiously, snapping Iida from his thoughts as he looks at Izuku in surprise.

"He….is my brother. I…was trying to hide that fact." Iida says.

"Well, you're bad at it. The engine and your hair are dead giveaways." Izuku bluntly says as Iida collapses onto the table, unable to handle the conversations.

"Ah, you guys killed him," Tsuyu points out bluntly.

"You like to be super blunt, huh?" Eijirou asks in a deadpan manner.

"Your friend gives me quite a run for my money, Kero," Tsuyu replies. Before the conversation could continue, the school alarm rang wildly. Izuku, Ochako, and Eijirou stood up. Raw energy burst out of their bodies like a dam, and everyone around them stiffened in fear. Izuku's eyes glow green, and his entire senses are amplified to eleven, scanning the entire building.

In that instant, Izuku notices someone crawling out of the teacher's lounge, and he immediately acts up, using [Quicksilver] to rush off toward where he detects the person. To everyone, Izuku disappears into thin air, but in reality, Izuku moves so fast that none of them can keep up.

Izuku arrives at where the culprit is, which is in the teacher's lounge before he opens the door to see a man with messy pale blue hair covered with a bunch of severed hands holding a folder with only four of his fingers. Izuku and the man make eye contact before Izuku moves, inches away from reaching the man and forgetting that he turned off [Quicksilver] earlier. But, suddenly, a purple warp gate appears and sucks the man. Izuku grits his teeth and reaches before pulling back, his back crashes into the ground and it was thanks to his physical damage resistance that he didn't groan out of pain.

Izuku lifts his hand and sees what he is holding before his face turns somewhat green and toss it away with a grimace. It is one of the hands attached to the culprit and Izuku didn't even want to know if it was real or fake, refusing to even use his [Appraisal] skill on it.

'Besides, what kind of person is psychotic enough to wear decapitated or fake detached hands all around his body, trying to promote himself as the one who did blowjobs?' Izuku thought, slightly disturbed by it. Izuku's senses detect distress from the cafeteria and immediately rush towards it, making sure he activates [Quicksilver] this time.

As he arrives, he blanches at the scene as students crowd the hallway and push each other, violently shouting at each other's ears. Izuku's eyes twitch before he pulls out his [Proto-Tool] and starts shooting the ceiling, getting their attention as well as silencing them.

"Seriously!? What are you all, 5 years old?" Izuku asks sarcastically. "Did any of you all know how to evacuate in an orderly fashion? Is that why all of you act like a group of old ladies fighting for fish in a market? Now, stop whatever the fuck you barbarians doing and learn how to act like a human."

"And why should we listen to you!?" One of the students yells at him. Izuku simply points his [Proto-Tool] right on his face. "We will listen to you!" (A/N: Kudos to those who got the reference. )

No one disagrees with that idiot and immediately walks out of the cafeteria in an orderly fashion. Izuku sighs before putting back his [Proto-Tool] into his inventory. He finally notices his friends walking out of the cafeteria with a huge sigh of relief before they notice Izuku and rush toward him.

"Izu, what happens? Did you find who breaks into the school?" Ochako says, making sure she whispers to him to not cause another panic.

"Someone actually breaks in!?" Momo asks in a harsh whisper, overhearing what Ochako said. Iida and Tsuyu can't help but let out a gasp.

"Yes. And no, he escaped," Izuku says while pinching the bridge of his nose. "I forgot to turn on [Quicksilver] when I try to rush towards him, so he manages to escape."

"That's sucks." Eijirou comments.

"Then you should see what I manage to get from him that could help me track him down," Izuku says in a deadpan manner before pulling out a decapitated hand. The group falls in silence until Tsuyu let out a loud croak to break said silence.

"Izuku-chan, what the fuck, Kero!?"

Later

Nedzu's Office

"This….is quite troubling…"

Nedzu looks at the decapitated hand on his table, his expression turns grim. Izuku can be seen sitting in front of him while Eraserhead, All Might, Gang Orca, Present Mic, and Midnight surround them.

"It's bad enough that UA's supposed impenetrable gate is destroyed, but add another one who can enter UA with some sort of warping quirk," Aizawa says with a groan. "….or is it magic?"

"It's a quirk. I sense no trace of mana from that warp itself." Izuku says with a sigh.

"It seems that UA's security defense is outdated than I ever thought." Gang Orca comments as Nedzu's eyes twitch while everyone gives him an unamused stare. "I was being truthful,"

"Sensei, just because it's true, doesn't mean you need to say it out loud." This time, they all glared at Izuku but Nedzu decided to stop the teachers.

"Please, don't be mad at them for telling the truth. Sakamata is right, with all the threats we're dealing with currently, our security could be considered outdated." Nedzu says with a heavy sigh. "Once again, my lack of foresight failed me. I apologize, because of my incompetence, your intern had to get involved and almost face danger."

"T-there's nothing to apologize for! I got involved because I want to." Izuku says as he waves his hands.

"And besides, I think you may mistaken about who exactly is almost facing danger." Gang Orca says while clearing his throat.

"Overpraising your intern will lead him to his downfall," Aizawa says with a scowl.

"I rather not hear advice from a guy who's too lazy being a teacher that you expelled an entire class." Gang Orca growls.

"They have no potential," Aizawa argues.

"No potential, or you can't just see it because your eyes starting to get blurry with all the lack of sleep?" Gang Orca snarls. "I don't know what's going on with you, but I would rather you tone down that aggression with either me or my interns."

"Gentlemen," Nedzu says calmly, stopping them from arguing. "Please, let us discuss civilly. So, calm down." They reluctantly agree.

"To be honest, I agree with Gang Orca." All Might whispered in Izuku's ears, making the said boy look at him with a blank stare.

"Is it the right idea for the problem child to be here?" Aizawa asks callously while pointing at Izuku, making Gang Orca glare at the hero.

"He's the one who got involved in this problem, Aizawa. So, please I would not have your dislike towards Midoriya interrupt us again," Nedzu says as Aizawa clams his mouth shut before grunting. "All right, now please, let us discuss this issue. Midoriya, I want you to give me as much detail as possible regarding the culprit."

Later

"Of all things I expect you to do when they ask you for a detail report, giving a piece of paper with your drawing of a man and shit tons of analysis isn't one of them." Gang Orca says in amusement. "I mean, seriously, you even analyze his possible symptoms based on his dry skin."

"They ask for details, I give them one. It could be used for tracking through medical records." Izuku says with a shrug.

"So, I got to ask," Gang orca looks at Izuku. "What happened that made Aizawa seemingly hostile to you?" As Izuku looks at him, Gang Orca raises his hand. "I didn't mean to accuse you, but I would like to know if you have any ideas."

"….I solve one case, and everyone starts treating me like a detective…" Izuku grumbles.

"You solve a case that is dropped because there is no clue regarding the culprit, and you manage to deduct the culprit by how he breathes," Gang Orca stated dryly.

"There's more than just that, and you know that sensei," Izuku says in a deadpan manner before sighing. "I….may have gone back to the teacher's lounge after calming down the issues in the cafeteria, and I found this."

Izuku gives a piece of paper with something written on it to Gang Orca, which the hero takes and looks at. He raises his eyebrow when the paper is a photocopy of a request form to take an apprentice with a large 'denied' stamp on it. He reads the entire paper, stating he wants to request a student by the name of Hitoshi Shinsou as a part of the Hero Transfer Program but is rejected due to his horrible attitude, and Nedzu wishes to not repeat a Bakugou incident.

The proof of Shinsou's terrible attitude is: Being rude to his classmates by constantly taunting them despite they simply attempting to socialize with him, stealing a student's notebook by using his quirk to force her to give it to him, and constantly playing victims. The proofs was obtained from a proper investigation by Nedzu himself as he makes sure to use every hidden camera and audio recorder possible. Then, the other side of the page shows a similar request form, but it is from All Might to take Melissa Shield and was approved.

"I think he hates how I indirectly lead Bakugou to expulsion, which prevents him from recommending a student, then notices All Might's got approved, and remembering how I, Ochako, Eijirou, and you have some sort of connection with All Might," Izuku shrugs. "I know, an insane troll logic."

"That man has issues." Gang Orca mutters in utter disbelief.

"Yeah," Izuku sighs. "By the way, what happen to Gentle Criminal and La Brava? I heard you caught them yesterday."

"I hired them," Gang Orca says.

"….keep this up, and your agency will be nothing but a home for every stranger available," Izuku says as Gang Orca snorts. "So, what do you hire them for?"

"Information and Media." Gang Orca says as Izuku blinks. "The Gate and Magic is slowly getting problematic, and I don't think we can hide it any longer. We need to reveal them properly, and given those two, it's a perfect role for them."

"… Wow, way not to be a manipulative bastard," Izuku deadpan as Gang Orca squawked in utter disbelief at Izuku's words before processing his entire dialogue and groaning.

"…..damn it, why do I sound like one!?" Izuku simply laughs at his mentor. He can't help but notice how Gang Orca always seems too serious every single time and sometimes he feels like less of a human but something else, so seeing him acting normally is nice. "Come on, kid. We still have the magic course to learn today."

"Oh right," With that, they both walk to Class 1-A together.

To be continued
