[ Chapter 1: Task Force Husky ]
The weather haf slowly begun to deteriorate with each passing minute, as a pair of C-17 Globemasters powered though the sky at crusing speed. Although their markings identified them as belonging to the United States Air Force, the men and equipment they carried within did not belong to that organization. In fact, the jets didn't even belong to the Air Force.
The Globemasters had taken off from Vandenberg "AFB" hours before on what was officially being called a "Training Mission" in Alaska. But in reality, their deployment was result of some rather concerning developments. As over the last few months, strange energy readings had been detected originating from the northern ice cap and were being monitored closely. Readings which appeared just weeks before, during their investigations in Japan into the Dark Kingdom's activities.
While this was going on, modified RC-135 "Reconnaissance" Aircraft were deployed to the Artic Circle in an attempt to locate the exact source of the mysterious energy readings which were initially detected. Energy Readings which were similar to those which were now being detected in Japan and seemed to ve growing every day.
This could not have been just a coincidence, since similar readings were also detected on the Moon and at other alleged Dark Moon incursions on Earth. Considering just how strong these particular readings were, it was very possible that what was being detected in the artic, was the Dark Kingdom's main base.
This was it! Decades of planning and preparations were now going to be put to use for real. But to make sure that the discovery was in fact genuine, the decision was made to deploy a Mobile Task Force to investigate and confirm that they had indeed found the Dark Kingdom base...
On board one of the C-17s, Col. Mathew John sat quietly in his seat and went over the files with had been provided to him.
John, a native of Boston, was in his late forties and had been attached to the USAC Task Forces for almost 20 years at this point. Initially a member of the much famed "Green Berets", John had been selected to Join USAC and although he had his doubts, his time as a Task Force Member had most certainly changed his view on things. So much so, that he genuinely believed that what he and his teams were doing, was for the good of all man kind.
"For All Man Kind..." The motto of the United States Aerospace Command.
Now he and his team were on their way to the Artic, though this time Command seem convinced this was the real deal. Which would explain the two Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles which had been allocated to them for this particular mission. A major upgrade when compared to the armored up Toyota Land Cruisers and Chevy Suburbans they used on past deployments.
The mission sounded simple enough, they were to parachute into the LZ with their equipment. Which itself was 20 miles away from theirprimary target. Then using the modified Bradleys, travel across the frozen Tundra and establish a base camp near said target, from where they would continue investigate and determine the threat level. It sounded simple enough... but so did Chernobyl. Not a happy time for anyone who was involved in that operation.
"Uh... this is your captain, we are approaching the LZ. There is a tail wind of 30 knots and the temperature is a blistering 15C. On behalf of the crew, I want to thank you for flying with us and we hope you enjoy your stay once you hit the ground."
A voice suddenly announced over the internal PA system, causing John and some of his men to smirk in amusement.
"Alright, Gentlemen! Hook up and prepare to move out! " John announced, as he got up from his seat and inspected his kit one last time. Suddenly, the rear door of the Globemaster opened up to reveal the gray sky and frozen Tundra below. The load masters made their final checks on the pallets holding both the Bradley and their equipment. Once all was green, the first pallet slid out and began it's seconds long free fall before it's chutes deployed. Seconds later, the other pallet slid out and repeated the process.
Once they were clear, John and his men filed out the back of the aircraft and their chutes deployed as intended. It was a big gusty on their way down, but the team was still together as they floated back to earth. With their roles now over, the two C-17s adjusted their course and made their way back to a base in Alaska. Effectively leaving the Task Force teams on their own.
"Husky Lead to Citadel, come in?"
"Citadel to Husky lead, read you loud and clear. What is your status?"
"All is well and accounted for, preparing to move towards secondary location."
"Copy, Husky Lead. report in once base camp is set up. Citadel out."
"Alright, Boys! Mount up, let's get ready to move out!" The Colonel declared, as he began to make his way towards one of the IFVs. But as he and his men got ready to move out, they were completely unaware that their movements were being watched closely...
Back at her base, Beryl was quite surprised by the appearance of these humans and their curious contraptions. After all that had happened, the tall red haired woman thought that it would be those blasted Senshi who would find her location first. Especially now that she was close to reviving Queen Metalia and the Dark Kingdom as a whole.
But no matter, there was nothing these mortals could do to stop her. If anything, these men could be used as... Entertainment for herself and her master. Maybe a few of them would be worthy enough to become the new Generals of her army.
But just as she was about to make her next move, Beryl suddenly sensed the arrival of another group near her realm. Though this time these intruders were expected and unlike those mortals and their weapons, were known to be more problematic. Those simpletons could wait, as Beryl soon placed her focus on what she believed to be the real threat to her plans and knew just the group to finally deal with that princess and her friends...

It didnt take long for John and his men to move. The two modified Bradley Fighting Vehicles slowly but steadily powering their way through the frozen tundra. Behind them, two specially built trailers that not only carried extra equipment, but wpuld as as command buildings once base camp was established.
Despite the conditions, the team was making good time when...
"Sir, I think we got something." A young airman by the name of "Waters" suddenly announced, as he sat in his seat and looked on at the screen before him.
"What is it?"
"Sensors just picked up a major energy spike three clicks to the east of us, sir." Waters replied, adjusting his screen. "I think we should check it out."
"Agreed." John replied, before picking up his radio...
"Husky lead to Husky 2, adjust course by five degrees east. Sensors have picked up something and I want to know what it is."
"Rodger" The commander of the second Bradley replied, before both vehicles and their crews began to make their way towards their "new" objective. Completely unaware that this one action would not only change the course of their lives, but the lives of some new allies...

It was a trap, they had walked right into it.
Beryl had used the one thing Sailor Moon could not resist, seeing Tuxedo Karmen up and in pain. Moon could not help but to try to rescue him, even as the other Senshi tried to prevent her from doing so.
Unfortunately the Yomas that were attacking them used a new illusion to trap the Senshi and ended up capturing Sailor Jupiter in their vines. Though she had been able to save her friend, Jupiter knew that she could not escape their grasp. She could feel the vines slowly start squeeze her to death. All the while, the other girls looked on helplessly.
This was it, and the Senshi of Thunder knew it. But she also knew that if she were to go die right now, the least she could do was taken at least one of these creatures with her. At least in that way, the other just might have a chance against Queen Beryl.
But just when it looked as if this would be her last stand, a series of cracking sounds and 'booms" ripped through the cold air. Moments later, one of the DD Girls was ripped apart before being engulfed in a ball of fire. Then, another DD Girl was ripped apart in a similar fashion, which allowed Sailor Jupiter to break free from the vines and fall to the snow covered ground. Burised and dazed, but still very much alive.
The remaining DD Girls flew off to find their would be attackers with murder in their eyes, as they intended to make who ever it was, pay fir their foolish actions... only for a third member of their group to be ripped apart and explode. Ultimately, the remaining Yoma fled the scene. Leaving the Senshi to assist their wounded friend.
"JUPITER!" Moon exclaimed tearfully, as she and the rest of the Senshi ran up. Hugging the taller woman tightly as she sobbed. "I'm.. I'm so sorry... I..."
"It's okay..." Jupiter replied, trying to reassure her friend. "I'm alright."
"What just happened?" Venus asked, sounding very much confused. "Who or what saved you?"
"Uh, guys..." Mercury spoke up, just as the wind began to pick up once again. "I think we have company..."
Sure enough, the familiar sounds of heavy machinery suddenly began to fill their ears. A sound that got louder and louder with each passing second.
Suddenly, the most unbelievable of sight appeared before the now stunned girls.
For emerging out of the fog and snow, two large armored vehicles emerged. Their white hulls doing little to make them blend into the snow covered tundra, as their turrets swung from side to side as if they were searching for someone... or something.
Yet despite their imposing presence, the Senshi did not feel threatened by their curious arrival. In fact, the sight of the two Bradley vehicles gave them a sense of relief, especially after they had apparently saved Sailor Jupiter's life. But who were they?
The two Bradleys then flanked the Senshi on either side, revealing that they were towing what looked like pre-Fabricated structures on sleds and came to a stop. Then, the rear of the first IFV lowered and out came a man dressed in tactical winter gear and carrying a rifle. Who himself seemed quite puzzled by this new development.
"Um... Hello...?"
