Draco sat in a small café. A cold cup of tea stood in front of him and he bopped his leg nervous. He looked at his watch and sighed, if his appointment didn't show up soon he would have to go back to the pharmacy without having achieved anything. Over the past five years, he had earned her quite a prestigious name and Caroline had even signed her over to him last year. She said that most of the clients would already call it Malfoy's pharmacy. He was proud of what he had achieved and that the name of his family's name had a reasonably good reputation again. Some wizard were still suspicious of him, but he would probably never be able to change that. The bell over the door to the café chimed and Draco raised his hand as he saw that a man with untidy black hair entered. He had waited for him and his nervosity rose once more. Normally he didn't mind seeing his girlfriend's brother. The two of them got along quite good by now. "Draco", the darkhaired greeted, took of his coat and took a seat across from the blond. "Harry", he greeted back. "Excuse the delay", Harry said and waved a waitress closer. "It's alright", Draco replied taking a closer look at Harry. The work as Auror and living without his muggle relatives had done him good. He was more muscular and seemed happier than in their youth. Draco knew that he would certainly lose out in a duel against him. "So why did you want to see me?" Harry asked after he had placed his order. "It's about Ayleen", Draco started but Harry rose his hand to interrupt him. "Draco we have an agreement I don't want to know anything specific about your relationship," he said, grimacing slightly in disgust. Draco snorted, as you would tell Potter anything about his sex live, which was more than satisfying. "That's not what this is about", said Draco rubbing his forehead with two fingers. He should have left that alone, but he wanted to do it right. "About what then?" Harry asked, nodded at the waitress and took a sip from his hot chocolate. Draco shook his head, he didn't understand how Harry could drink this stuff, but like Ayleen her brother had a weakness for sweets. Draco sighed, took a small jewel case out of his coat pocket and laid it on the table in front of Harry. Harry raised an eyebrow and opened the jewel case. Impressed Harry whistled through his teeth. "Not bad, but in case you've forgotten, I'm already taken," he said, raising his left hand, which had recently been adorned with a silver wedding ring. "It's not for you", Draco hissed and added quietly. "Merlin, I really want to marry into this family." Grinning, Harry took an other sip of his hot chocolate. "Malfoy, I know that this ring is for Ayleen but why do you show it to me?" he wanted to know and licked his lips. "Nun", Draco said clearing his throat, his nervosity had returned now. "It's custom that a men asks the father of his future wife for her hand. But since uncle Sev is no longer alive, you are Ayleen's closest male relative. So do I have your blessing?" "Listen Draco. Let me make some things clear. If your really want to marry Ayleen, you should stop calling Snape uncle Sev. I think she finds it just as weird as me. Beside such customs are outdated Ayleen can decide for herself who she wants to marry. You can ask her for all I care," Harry said and shrugged. "And you don't mind me becoming your brother in law?" Draco asked skeptical. Harry sighed und looked Draco straight in the eyes. The blond looked so damn much like his father and still he was completely different. Unlike Lucius, Draco would do anything to make Ayleen and his mother happy. Slowly he shook his head. "Ayleen loves you and Merlin I really don't know why she does. You make her happy Draco and that's all I want for her, that she's happy and if that's with you I have to accept that." "Thanks Harry", Draco said before he grabbed the jewel case with the ring and his coat to leave the café. "Draco", Harry said turning to the leaving blond. Draco stopped and looked at Harry. "Don't screw it up." Draco laughed and waved at Harry over his shoulder.

It was Saturday afternoon, Ayleen lay on the couch in Malfoy Manor and read in a book. Ayleen enjoyed it when she had a weekend for herself, as a healer in St. Mungos it didn't happen so often. But since she worked in the children's unit she had more free weekends than her colleagues on the intensive care unit. She would have enjoyed it even more if Draco had been able to spend the day with her, but he had been working in the pharmacy in the morning and was probably doing stocktaking now. Sighing Ayleen put the book aside and looked around the parlor. The fireplace was empty, it was too warm to enlighten it. On the chimney stood several pictures they had taken over the last years. Also one from south France where they had visited Narzissa at New Years. Draco's mother had decided to use the summer residence of the Malfoys as her permanent residence and left the Manor to Draco. Since the manor was too big for Draco alone he had asked Ayleen to move in with him and she was convinced that this had been Narzissa's plan. Ayleen flinched a little when a house elf appeared with a bang in front of her. "Toffee don't scare me like that", Ayleen said putting her hand on her chest. "Excuse me mistress. Master Draco asked Toffee to bring you this", the elf said and handed Ayleen an envelope. With a furrowed brow Ayleen took the envelope and the elf disappeared again. Ayleen turned the envelope around in her hand and wonderer what Draco was up to. Maybe he just wanted to let her know that he was staying longer in the pharmacy. Finally Ayleen opened the envelope sighing taking out the message.

Meet me at Rhossili Beach, Draco.

Ayleen turned the note around, but nothing more was written on the back. Why did Draco want to meet her now at the beach. The sun would set soon and it was already to cold to go swimming. Still Ayleen stood up from the couch, got a jacket with a summoning charm and apparated to Gower. When she landed on the green space that let to the water, she could taste the salty air. For a moment she closed her eyes and just enjoyed being there. Then she heard something. She opened her eyes again and looked around but couldn't see anything. But she could still hear the noise. She took a few steps forward until she reached the point where the gras met the sand. There she discovered the source of the noise. It was Draco. He stood barefoot in the sand. His light-colored jeans were rolled up over his ankles so that the water licking at his toes didn't reach them. He also wore a white shirt. His hair was lightly tied back at the nape of his neck. On his shoulder rested a violin from which he coaxed the most wonderful sounds with his skillful fingers. Although Ayleen knew Draco for so long she had never heard him play violin until now and she knew that she would force him to do it more often. Allured from the sound of the violin Ayleen walked over the beach until she stood in front of Draco. He seemed to notice her presence, because he smiled slightly while he continued to play with closed eyes. Finally he lowered the violin and looked at Ayleen. Smiling Ayleen took a step closer, lay her hand on his cheek and kissed him. "You should play more often", she said as she led go. "So you liked it?" Draco asked. Ayleen nodded. "It was beautiful, but why all of this?" she wanted to know. Draco shrugged. "I thought I surprise you with something special", Draco said pointing behind him, where a blanket lay on the sand a few meters from the shore. "A beach picnic?" Ayleen asked amused. She loved Draco, but the blond wasn't exactly the most romantic type. He shrugged again and guided her to the blanket. Ayleen let herself sink onto the blanket and looked up at Draco, who was lost in thought as he looked out to sea. "Draco?" Ayleen said pulling him from his thoughts. Draco laid the violin on his shoulder once more and started playing again. Ayleen pulled her legs to her chest and laid her chin on her knees. She enjoyed listening to the music but she knew that there had to bee more about it than Draco was letting her know. When Draco lowered the violon again Ayleen smiled up at him. Draco returned the smile, knelt in the sand in front of Ayleen and laid the violin beside her on the blanket. "Thanks, but are you telling me now what your up to?" "You know me to well", Draco said with a small smile. He reached into his right back pocket, took out a jewel case and handed it to Ayleen. "Here." With shaking hand Ayleen took the jewel case and opened it. Gasping, Ayleen slapped her hand over her mouth when she saw the ring inside. "Draco" she whispered. She was fighting back tears when she looked up at him. "I love you Ayleen and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You don't need to take my name but I want everyone to know that you belong to me. So would you do me the honor and marry me?" Ayleen couldn't help but kiss Draco. "I just take that as a yes", Draco laughed when she let go of him. Ayleen nodded still speechless. Draco took the ring from the jewel case and put it on Ayleen's finger. She looked at it briefly before kissing Draco again. "And I will take your name", she whispered against his lips. "Really?" Draco asked astonished and moved slightly away from her. Ayleen nodded. "We will be a family after all." Now Draco kissed Ayleen fiercely and pressed her onto the blanket with his body. "Merlin, how I love you", he growled before he kissed her again.

Sighing Kingsley looked out of the enchanted window in his office. He very much hoped that he would soon be able to quit his job as minister. When there was a knock at the door, he turned and invited his visitor in. A smile spread across his face as he recognized Ayleen. "Minister Shacklebolt a pleasure as always", Ayleen said while she closed the door behind her. "It's good to see you Ayleen", he replied and hugged the young woman briefly. "Take a seat, what leads you here?" Kingsley asked while he took a seat in one of the comfortable armchairs. "I have a favor to ask you," Ayleen said and sat down opposite him. "Ah, so it's not an amicable visit" Kingsley determined. "I'm sorry", Ayleen apologized which Kinglsey waved off. "So, how can I help?" Kingsley wanted to know and bend slightly forward. "Well", Ayleen said smiling shyly. "Draco and I are getting married." Kingsley clapped his hands and grinned at her. "How wonderful and you want me to wed you." Bewildered Ayleen starred at the dark-skinned wizard in front of her. "That's a great idea, I will talk to Draco about it but that's not why I'm here." "Oh no", Kingsley said obviously disappointed, dropping back into his armchair. Ayleen shook her head apologetically. "It's about Draco's father." "Lucius Malfoy, he's in Azkaban." "Yeah, still for the next five years. Draco visits him at least once a month in the prison and I know that he would be happy if he could be there for his wedding. So would it be…" Ayleen stopped when Kingsley raised his hand. "So you ask me to get Lucius Malfoy out of Azkaban for one day, so he can participate at his son's wedding?" Kingsley asked to make Ayleen's request clear. Ayleen nodded bashfully. She wanted to surprise Draco with Lucius presence and hoped it would be possible, because if she couldn't have her parents with her, he should have his. "We can put magic blocking handcuffs on him and place someone there who keeps an eye on him", Kingsley said rubbing the bridge of his nose. "You would do that for me?" Ayleen asked surprised. "Yeah it must mean a lot to you, if you come to me with it." Ayleen nodded and thanked Kingsley exuberantly. He only laughed and shooed her from his office, he still had work to do.

From the window in the dressing room in the Manor Ayleen watched how her guests arrived. She couldn't see much since the pavilion started at the corner of the house. But what she could see was how Draco greeted their guests. He seemed content and Ayleen couldn't wait to go down there. A soft knock on the door made her turn away. She smiled when she saw Harry standing in the doorway. He smiled as well and stepped closer to his sister. "Nervous?" he asked while he hugged her. "A little", Ayleen admitted. "It will be fine. You look lovely, by the way," Harry said, looking at his sister more closely. He stopped shortly as he took a closer look at her dress. "The dress…" he started but Ayleen interrupted him. "Is mom's yes. Do you think she would like it?" Ayleen wanted to know and stroked the silk skirt of her dress uncertainly. Harry shook his head. "Surely. She would be proud of you, both would be proud of you", Harry assured her. Ayleen closed her eyes and bit softly into her lower lip. "Hey, don't cry", Harry asked pulling Ayleen into his arms. "I'm sorry I just wish Dad could be here", Ayleen sniffed and tried to calm down. Harry pushed her slightly away from him and lifted her head with his fingers. "He will always be with you, right here", he said, placing his hand over his heart. Ayleen laughed and wiped her eyes. "You almost sound like Dumbledore." Harry laughed now too. "Good that you laugh again, but we should go downstairs now." Ayleen's eyes widened, she turned to the window and could see that there were no more guests in front of it. "Oh damn, we're late", she said grabbing her flowers. "Nonsense, without a bride they can't start the ceremony but if we don't leave now Draco will think that I talked you out of the wedding", Harry laughed. Ayleen hit his chest, which made Harry laugh even harder. Together they descended the marvel staircase and stopped in front of the great double door which led to the garden. "Ready?" Harry asked offering his arm to Ayleen. Taking a deep breath Ayleen linked her arm with his. With a wave of Harry's hand the door opened. Ayleen was blinded for a moment, but as her eyes got used to the light, she saw the pavilion which was filled with guests. At the end of the aisle stood Draco, smiling at her nervously. Ayleen returned his smile and was glad that he seemed just as nervous as her. On Harry's arm she went down the aisle until she reached Draco. Harry hugged her again, before he shook Draco's hand, whispered something to him and then took a seat next to Ginny. Draco took Ayleen's hands into his. "Hey you look great", he whispered. "You too", Ayleen replied. "Dear family and friends, we gathered here today to join Ayleen and Draco in holy matrimony. Love is long-suffering and kind, it bears everything, it believes everything, it hopes everything, it tolerates everything, love never ends. Your love has already endured much and will endure much more, but together you will overcome all hurdles," said Kingsley, after which he asked Draco and Ayleen whether they wanted to accept the other as their spouse, to which they both answered 'yes'. Then they exchanged rings, which Teddy Lupin brought them. When Kingsley asked Draco to kiss his bride he didn't need to be told twice.

Ayleen stood at the bar. She danced and laughed a lot and eaten well. Her wedding was an absolute dream until the DJ stopped the music and made an announcement. "Dear guests, now it's time for a highlight of todays evening the father/daughter dance." Ayleen froze, she had asked to skip this dance after all her father wasn't here and although she loved her brother she didn't want to share this dance with him. Panicking slightly, she looked around to see if she could spot Harry anywhere, when someone stepped into her field of vision. The person wore a dark suit and when she looked up Ayleen looked into Lucius Malfoys face. "May I have this dance?" he asked reaching his hand out to her. With an unsure smile Ayleen took his hand and Lucius guided his daughter in law onto the dancefloor. Once there, he placed his second hand on her shoulder blade and skillfully guided her across the floor. Now Ayleen understood from where Draco got his dancing talent. "I wanted to thank you Ayleen", Lucius suddenly said. "For what?" she asked looking up at her father in law. "That you convinced Kingsley to let me participate here." "Well for once I have to take advantage of the fact that Harry is my brother. Besides I know how much it means to Draco", Ayleen replied. "You really love him don't you?" Lucius asked and looked into her eyes. Ayleen looked into the crowd where she saw Draco, who watched them stunned. "More than you think, he's a good person." Lucius also looked to his son and smiled wistfully. "I will have to teach him that again and again", Lucius remarked and turned his gaze at Ayleen again. "I will make sure of that", Ayleen said smiling. "Good and Ayleen when you have your first child, you have to make it clear to him that he's not me and will be a good father, unlike me." Ayleen's eyes widened, she had not thought about children yet, but she knew that she wanted to have some. "Lucius", she began, looking at him sympathetically. The blond just shook his head. "Actually I don't deserve to be here. Severus should share this dance with you and it's the least I can do to take over for him", Lucius explained himself. When the song ended he stopped, let go of Ayleen and kissed her hand. "I thank you", he repeated again before he turned around and disappeared in the crowd. He crossed Draco, who only looked after his father. "Everything alright?" he wanted to know, wrapped his arms around Ayleen and kissed her cheek. "Yeah, it was surprisingly enjoyable dancing with him, now I know where you got your talent from," Ayleen said, looking up at Draco with shining eyes. He smiled softly down at her and kissed her. "What do you say we get out of here?" he asked, beginning to stroke her side seductively. Ayleen closed her eyes smiling. "That sounds like a good plan", she replied. Draco grinned and let his wife out of the crowd.
