Feeling a real blizzard hitting her, Raynare found herself unable to fly. Forced to walk while facing the wind, the fallen angel growled in displeasure.
"Damn it! In the end, I preferred the walk in the Alabasta desert! It was warmer."
Also struggling against the snow, Phanteon was having a hard time moving forward. However, compared to her old habit where she constantly asked Raynare to help her, the pokemon tried to remain independent.
"Do you regret not being able to lean on my shoulder anymore?" Raynare asked.
The pokemon remained silent.
"Do you know that your rebellious side makes you annoying?"
Once again, Phanteon remained silent. About to say something, Raynare suddenly stopped. Through the blizzard, she saw a figure moving towards her. It looked like a bipedal wild beast, half animal, half man. Growls could be heard and the fallen angel couldn't help but compare the newcomer to a yeti.
"Hey! Who's there?"
Hearing his voice, the strange figure stopped moving. Then, suddenly, the yeti rushed towards Raynare. Unable to see the face of this monster, Raynare didn't hesitate and created a spear of light.
"Back off!" she ordered, launching her attack.
Phanteon use SHADOW BALL.
Both attacks were equally fast, hitting the strange figure and creating a powerful explosion. A scream of agony was immediately heard, as the figure took several steps back, before falling to its knees.
Wanting to finish it off, Raynare took flight. Then, targeting the figure, she let herself fall towards it while spinning at full speed. Finally, her foot struck the top of the creature's skull, forcing its face to smash against the ground.
"I got it." Raynare said, jumping back.
It was at this moment that the blizzard stopped. As the snow stopped falling, Raynare caught a proper glimpse of the creature and couldn't help but grimace.
Now lying on the ground with his face covered in blood, Bepo was unconscious while Raynare's last attack had caused a huge bump to appear on his head.
"I think I did something stupid."
Opening her eyes, Robin felt a pain in the back of her neck, as she felt like she had been struck by lightning.
"What happened?" she wondered, trying to straighten up.
However, she found herself unable to move, as her arms had been pinned against her abdomen by metal chains.
" What ? "
"Are you finally awake?"
Standing in front of her, a few Olmecs stared at Robin, while some of them had strange pistols in their hands.
" Who are you ? "
"Here, we are the ones asking the questions, woman." One of the Olmecs retorted. "And I must warn you that you will tell us everything we want to know about this ship."
"What?" Robin asked in surprise. "What are you talking about?"
Aiming his weapon at her, one of the Olmecs fired a projectile, resembling an electric shock. Feeling the strange projectile hit her, Robin immediately cried out in pain, feeling as if he had been struck by lightning.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!"
Collapsing to the ground, the poor woman looked almost like she was going to faint from the pain.
"I warned you! We're the ones asking the questions! First, you're going to tell us who you are! And then, you're going to tell us who the person is who built this boat and where we can find it."
Sitting up with difficulty, Robin winced in pain. Still, she retorted.
"I don't see why I should give you any information."
However, feeling weakened, the young woman looked at the chains surrounding her, as she felt like she could feel her energy disappearing.
" Seastone ! "
"Indeed." An Olmec said. "After living on this planet for five years, it's normal for us to know about the weakness of devil fruit users! Now, you're unable to attack us."
Hearing this, Robin understood something important.
"Are you immigrants?"
"That's the name we are the people of this planet! But in reality, we are Olmecs."
Pointing his gun at Robin again, the man stated.
"Now tell us who you are."
Looking at him with defiance, Robin remained silent. Seeing her do so, the Olmec began to prepare a new electric discharge. However, just before he could send it, he heard Robin answer him.
"My name is Nico Robin! I'm the archaeologist of Luffy's crew."
"Okay! Now tell me about this boat! How come such a sophisticated means of transportation can exist in this world?"
Again, Robin remained silent. Looking around, she tried to find help.
Lying on the ground, Toxtricity's body seemed charred, while the Olmecs had taken advantage of his sleep to attack him by surprise. Not far from him, Pouky remained motionless, while he seemed to have been deactivated.
"What's going on?" Robin asked.
"You're surprised, aren't you? However, you should know that some Olmecs are equipped with technology superior to yours! Since our arrival in this world, we have combined our knowledge with scientists from this world and this has allowed us to create many weapons, like this taser! But that's not all."
Starting to target a block of ice, another Olmec grabbed a rifle-like firearm. Firing, he managed to create a beam of light that pierced the wall of the block of ice. Recognizing this attack, Robin remembered that Vivi had been pierced because of it.
"Grrrr! Were you the one who hurt Vivi?"
Smiling, the Olmec in front of her declared.
"From what I understand, some of our comrades were massacred by Roronoa Zoro, because they underestimated him! That's why we took precautions, when we attacked you! But in the end, you really aren't very strong! And the frog was also very easy to beat! As for the robot..."
Pointing to his belt, the man showed a strange electronic device resembling a walkie talkie.
"Your robot works with electronic chips and receivers! By turning on this device, we can neutralize all of that and prevent this robot from moving! Therefore, no one will come to save you."
"Where is Vivi?" Robin asked.
At that moment, a cry of pain was heard.
Collapsing to the ground, while also chained, Vivi had numerous burn marks on her.
"Tssss!" An Olmec growled. "That bitch refuses to talk."
"Yet she was struck by lightning multiple times! And since her power was sealed, she is now just a normal human woman."
"VIVI!" Robin shouted, trying to get up.
However, an Olmec hit her in the face to prevent her from moving.
"Stay where you are."
Coughing up some blood, Vivi looked at the people around her. Then, staring at Robin, she tried to put on a serene face.
"Don't worry, Robin! I'm not in pain... and I won't say anything."
Suddenly, one of the Olmecs raised his foot and struck the large wound Vivi had in his abdomen.
" ARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH ! "
Feeling the foot trample on her wound, Vivi screamed her head off.
"Tell us what we want to know."
" AHHHHHHHHHH ! NE ... NEVER ! "
Angry, the Olmec aimed his taser at her. Then, Vivi let out another scream, as she was struck by lightning.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Seeing this, Robin cried out.
"STOP! STOP IMMEDIATELY!"
"Huh?" the Olmec next to her wondered.
Seeing Robin's reaction, the man began to smile, while declaring.
"Can't stand your friend's screams? Then answer our questions and her torture will end immediately."
"What do you want to know?" Robin asked.
"I already told you! Who built this boat? And how did he do it? Such technology doesn't exist in this world! Is this carpenter from another world? What relationship do you have with the Mu people?"
" Mu ? " Said Robin.
" ROBIN ! "
Gritting her teeth as the pain she was enduring seemed unbearable, Vivi aimed at Robin, screaming as she did so.
"ABOVE ALL, DON'T SAY ANYTHING!"
"What?" Robin wondered.
"If you say something, I will never forgive you." Vivi said.
"SHUT UP!" An Olmec ordered her, targeting her wound again.
Immediately, Vivi's scream was heard again.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Seeing this, Robin tried to get up to run towards her. However, two Olmecs positioned themselves in front of her and struck her to make her back down.
"If you're smart, you should already know what you have to do if you want to save your friend."
"We won't stop the torture if you don't talk."
And to prove it, Vivi got beaten again. Yet, Vivi continued to scream.
"Don't tell them anything."
Seemingly annoyed by this, the Olmec who was hitting her grabbed his sword, before taking Vivi's hand.
"I'll cut off your hand."
Trying to struggle, Vivi didn't have the strength to resist him and the man brought the blade of his weapon closer to her wrist.
"When you are disabled, I doubt you will still decide to resist us."
" FRANKY ! "
Surprised, the Olmecs turned to Robin, who had just screamed.
"The man who built this boat is Franky! He's our carpenter."
"Really? In that case, who is he? An immigrant? Tell us what we want to know."
"If I tell you everything, I want you to promise me to stop torturing Vivi." Vivi ordered.
In front of her, the Olmec seemed displeased. However, raising a hand, he snapped his fingers. Immediately, the man who was torturing Vivi let go of her hand before stepping back.
"Satisfied?" the Olmec asked, staring at Robin. "Now, I'll give you a minute to tell me everything."
"Robin, don't say anything." Vivi repeated.
"Franky's not an immigrant," Robin retorted, ignoring Vivi. "He's just a genius at shipbuilding."
"A genius?"
"Yes! He was the disciple of the best shipwright in the world! That's why his ship is unlike any other."
Hearing this, the Olmec stared at her for a few seconds. Then, suddenly, he snapped his fingers again. The next second, Vivi was struck by lightning again.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"VIVI! Why are you doing this? You promised you wouldn't do anything to him if I told you the truth."
"I didn't promise anything at all," the Olmec retorted. "I just made sure your friend wouldn't get tortured during your explanations! Besides, do you seriously think I'm going to believe your lies?"
Grabbing Robin's hair, he roared.
"Tell us what you know about the Mu Empire."
"But I've never heard of that empire." Robin retorted.
"As you wish! But don't come complaining when the torture is over your friend."
And again, Vivi got electrocuted.
Hearing the sound of a fall, Nami and the others were surprised to see Zoro's body fall into the cavity where they were.
" That ... ? Zoro ? "
Horrified, the pirates noticed the state of their friend's body, which resembled a dried-up corpse.
"ZORO! Are you okay?"
"Is he dead?"
"Zoro... answer us."
Breathing with difficulty, the swordsman showed that he was alive. However, judging from the state of his body, it was obvious that he would not stay alive for very long.
"What happened to him?" Usopp asked.
"Whatever." Gin growled, grabbing the man's body. "We need to heal him or something to perk him up."
"I feel like he was attacked by Crocodile." Lucy said. "His body is completely dried up."
"WATER!" Nami shouted. "We need water."
Immediately, Franky approached an ice wall and breathed fire.
" FRESH FIRE ! "
Touched by his flames, the ice wall began to melt slightly, allowing the creation of a trickle of water. Positioning Zoro's body in front of Franky, Gin opened his mouth a little so that the man could drink this water.
Yet, even though Zoro managed to drink, his body's condition didn't improve much.
"Why doesn't it work?" Lucy asked.
"There's no way Crocodile is here." Usopp stated. "So that means Zoro was attacked by someone with a different power! Drinking isn't enough for Zoro to heal."
"Crocodile?" Shashi wondered.
"Is it true what everyone says about you?" Penguin asked. "Your captain defeated Crocodile?"
"As if this is the right time to talk about this." Nami growled. "Seriously, there's no way you could make yourself useful?"
Seeming to be annoyed by this, the duo growled. Then, finally, crouching down next to Zoro, they took his wrist, all the while examining his face.
"Extreme pallor... emaciation... disappearance of all traces of fat... inability to move... this man is not suffering from dehydration."
" What ? "
"This man appears to have suffered from malnutrition identical to that of a man who has not eaten for a month."
Suddenly, Penguin let out a frightened laugh, as Zoro's hand grabbed his collar.
" WHAT ? "
Feeling his arm shaking, Zoro was unable to straighten up. However, managing to move his lips, he whispered.
" A ... Azel ... ma ... "
Not knowing what to do, Azelma remained motionless. However, while she expected to be killed, the young woman was now sitting on a bed, while she was no longer wearing the same clothes as before.
"Oh, you look very pretty in those clothes."
Seeming to enjoy dressing her, Yvelina had dressed Azelma in a dozen different ways, like a child with her doll. Being in a room with many wardrobes containing countless clothes, Yvelina seemed to have thousands of options to dress Azelma.
"Why are you doing this?" the former slave asked.
"It's a way for me to have fun." Yvelina stated, rummaging through one of her closets. "I love shopping! But honestly, I almost never wear most of the clothes I buy! Might as well have a purpose! I always loved dressing my kids when they were children! But now, they claim to be ashamed every time I want to continue doing it."
Suddenly, she came back to Azelma, with shoes.
"The red dress from earlier looked great on you! However, those black shoes don't go with the rest of your outfit at all! You need to change them."
As she was about to take off her shoes, Yvelina saw Azelma blush, as she wished she could move her feet. However, being unable to do so, she couldn't stop Yvelina from taking off her shoes and allowing her scars to be seen by anyone.
Azelma was ashamed of her scars and didn't like to show them, just like the mark she had on her navel. For her, these indelible marks would always remind her of her past and allowed anyone to understand that she was a former slave.
Yet, barely seeming to notice her injuries, Yvelina put new shoes on her, before placing a hat on her head.
"There you go, now you're adorable."
Again, Azelma felt embarrassed. Yvelina had undressed her to make her try on various outfits. As a result, she saw her slave mark and scars, and yet she seemed to ignore them.
"Why?" Azelma asked.
" Huh ? "
"Why are you acting like I'm your friend? And... what did you do with Zoro? Is he still alive? Are you planning on killing him?"
"When we give a pirate to the Navy, his bounty is reduced by 30 percent if he dies." Yvelina stated. "Therefore, I have no interest in killing him! Have no fear! I made sure to simply immobilize him! Furthermore, I have not given up on the idea of him marrying my daughter! Unless Law accepts my proposal."
"Why are you obsessed with this idea?" Azelma asked.
"You can't understand me." Yvelina retorted.
Starting to cry comically, Yvelina declared.
"I want to have grandchildren! However, my eldest daughter fell in love with a baboon! My two eldest sons are not interested in getting married! And my youngest son is gay! If this continues, I will never have any lovely grandchildren! All I will have is a child that looks like a marmoset."
Being a little surprised by her words, Azelma preferred not to ask any further questions about it. Instead, she asked.
"What about me?"
" Huh ? "
"Why don't you capture me?"
"You have no bounty," Yvelina asserted. "Why should I waste energy fighting you? When there's no money to be made, I have no willpower."
"So what are you going to do with me?"
"Huh... I don't know! You don't have any bounty, so there's no point in turning yourself over to the Navy! I could let you work under Aristotle! But since you're disabled, I doubt you'll be able to become a good housekeeper! In that case, maybe I should kill you."
Hearing this, Azelma began to shiver. Nevertheless, Yvelina began to laugh.
"Hahahaha! I'm kidding! Hey, I'm a pirate hunter! Not a psychopath."
"So... you're a nice person?" Azelma asked.
"I've killed many people!" Yvelina retorted. "But they were all criminals! Am I good or bad? I guess only god can answer that question."
Then, looking at Azelma, Yvelina declared.
"In truth, if I don't want to fight you, it's also because you are dangerous."
Hearing this, Azelma couldn't hide her surprise and pointed at herself.
"I'm dangerous... are you serious?"
"I can see it in your eyes." Yvelina said. "You're someone who's been close to death for many years, aren't you? The scars you've shown show that you've suffered over and over again! And that's what makes you dangerous! People like you have been close to death so much that they don't notice that nothing scares them completely anymore! You've been so traumatized that it would be easy for anyone to turn you into soldiers devoid of any trace of humanity."
"Don't talk nonsense." Azelma retorted. "I have little of many things! I'm afraid of death and... I'm especially afraid of living like before again! I have nothing to do with a soldier devoid of all humanity."
"Yet I can see it in your eyes." Yvelina retorted. "If you had a gun in your hands and you weren't disabled, I'm sure you could kill anyone if you considered them a potential danger."
Continuing to stare at Azelma, Yvelina declared.
"I have plenty of money, so I'm sure I can find a way to make you walk again."
" Huh ? "
"How would you like to work for me and become part of the Accino family? I'm sure you'd become a formidable fighter after proper training."
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
With another cry of pain, Vivi collapsed to the ground, having been struck by lightning again. Seeing this, Robin wanted to help her. However, lying on the ground, she had her face crushed under the foot of an Olmec, which prevented her from getting up.
"What are you waiting for to tell us the truth? If you continue, your friend will really die."
"But I told you the truth? What do you want? For me to lie to you?"
In response, the Olmec who was torturing Vivi stamped on her wound again.
" ARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH ! "
"If this is really the truth, then these women have no interest in us! In that case, we can kill them and seize their boat."
Continuing to suffer greatly, Vivi suddenly surprised the Olmec, as she began to smile.
"Huh? What are you laughing at?"
"You can always try to steal this ship! But know that Franky and Luffy will slaughter you! You are nothing but losers."
Hearing this, the Olmec seemed angry, and that was surely why his taser was aimed at Vivi's wound.
" ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH ! "
Still trapped in his block of ice, Broly was frozen, as he lay at the bottom of the ocean. Unable to move and with his eyes closed, the Saiyan looked as if he was dead or forced to stay here and sleep for eternity.
Yet, while all was quiet at the bottom of the ocean, a noise could be heard. This noise was similar to a scream. It was a female scream that was screaming in pain.
Seeming to recognize this cry, Broly opened his eyes. Then, the next moment, letting out a cry, he created a green aura around him and pulverized the ice around him. Freed from the block of ice, the saiyan let his muscles double in size, before propelling himself towards the surface of the ocean.
Taking pleasure in hearing Vivi scream in pain, the Olmec had decided to finish her off with his dagger. But before he could pierce her, he was surprised to see a large quantity of water rise up.
" Huh ? "
Leaving the ocean, Broly was now visible flying above the water. Being surrounded by his green aura, the saiyan stared at the Sunny and that was how he saw Vivi on the ground, injured.
"Hey, who are you?" the Olmec who was torturing the former princess asked.
Suddenly, Broly disappeared.
" Huh ? "
Suddenly, a fist struck the Olmec's face. Horrified, the other enemies saw their comrade's body fly out of the boat. His face covered in blood, he hit a block of ice, completely piercing it. Still flying at full speed, the Olmec continued to hit many icebergs before disappearing into the distance.
Immediately taking a step back, the other Olmecs looked scared as they saw Broly in front of them. Being next to Vivi's injured body, the Saiyan seemed enraged.
" GRRRRRRRR ! "
Seeing him growl like a wild beast, the four remaining Olmecs aimed their tasers at him and blasted him. Yet, barely feeling any pain, Broly screamed in fury, before rushing towards the enemies.
