And we're back!
Now I know you've all been waiting for this. Here is the moment where we finally introduce...The Loud Family!
How will things unfold? Let's see.
The next morning, things were quiet at the Turnbull household, just like any other day.
Or maybe even a bit quieter than usual.
Anyway, the parents were downstairs in the kitchen, eating breakfast.
Dwight noticed that his wife was still cooking even though he finished his plate.
"Honey, you don't have to make me another plate. Though I could use the extra protein."
Debbie rolled her eyes. "This plate is for Tommy, dear."
"Tommy? After he broke your swan? What are you rewarding him for? He needs to be taught a lesson!"
"Dwight! He may have done something wrong, but I'm not about to starve him!"
Debbie made a fresh plate and started taking it up the stairs. Along the way, she began to feel a little guilty about the other night.
"Maybe I was a little harsh on Tommy," she thought to herself. "He did seem sorry."
Finally, she made it up to his bedroom.
She knocked on his door. "Tommy? I brought you breakfast."
But there was no answer.
"Honey? I know you're upset. But I'll tell you what. If you come out and eat, I'll ease your punishment for you."
Still no response.
"Tommy?"
Deb slowly opened the door and stepped inside. She didn't see anyone inside. All the stuff was knocked down and thrown around.
Needless to say, she was shocked by what she saw.
But the one thing that had caught her eye was a folded piece of paper sitting on the bed.
"What's this?"
She picked up the paper, opened it up and read it. By the time she finished it, she let out a gasp of shock.
Back downstairs, Dwight was still sitting at the table waiting when he heard a Loud shriek.
"DWIGHT!!!!!!!! GET UP HERE, NOW!!!!"
So he immediately rushed up to the room.
"Honey, what's going on?" He asked while panting heavily. "Where's the fire?"
"Take a look at this."
Deb showed him the letter that she found.
It read……
'Dear Mom, Dad and whoever it may concern,
By the time you read this, I will be far away. I just can't sleep at night knowing that I keep getting blamed for something I didn't do. Therefore, I've decided to go find a new family. Someone who understands me. Don't bother looking for me, because by now I have probably found one to take me in and accept me. It was nice knowing you.
Goodbye forever.
Tommy Turnbull
After finishing the letter, Deb was almost entirely in tears. "Tommy's…….gone!"
"This is terrible!" Dwight said. "He didn't even bother to clean up his room. That boy clearly has no respect for authority."
"Dwight! This is serious!" Scolded Deb. "We've got to find him! Who knows where he could be?"
Tommy was still riding in the train boxcar. Eventually, the hours turned to days and Tommy inevitably fell asleep.
Suddenly, the boxcar began to rumble and shake. The train was coming towards some very rough terrain on a steep hill. Not only did the shaking wake Tommy up, but he and RobotBoy ended up falling out of the car and rolled down the hill.
Tommy fell headfirst into a swampy pond while RobotBoy fell out of his backpack and slammed face first into a tree.
Tommy got up and shook himself dry. "Guess this is where running away from home got me." As he got onto land, he took a look at his surroundings. "Hey, where am I?"
He didn't have a clue. Everything around him was nothing but darkness. Even the sky was dark and mysterious. So far, all he could make out was just a bunch of trees, grass and the swamp he fell in, as if he was in some kind of forest.
He then spotted RobotBoy (still dormant) in one of the trees and pulled him out.
"Well this isn't really what I was expecting. Oh well, might as well have a snack before—hey! Where's all the food?"
Tommy became shocked to find that all the food he packed not only fell out of the pack, but into the water and sank.
"Aw man! Well I guess it could be worse."
Just then, a huge lightning strike came and buckets of rain poured down on him, making him even more frustrated.
"Oh great! That's all I need! I'm cold, I'm wet, my snacks are all gone, and I can't even see my hand in front of my face!" He sighed exasperatedly. "Oh well. Hang in there, Ro. We'll find some place soon."
Tommy placed RobotBoy into his pack and dragged him off to find some shelter.
But all he could find was a huge cave hidden behind a giant rock. Seeing as how drenched he was getting, he didn't have much of a choice.
"Guess this'll have to do for now."
He went inside the cave and curled up into a ball, shivering from the cold.
"Maybe I should have brought a blanket," he said as he dozed off.
As the sun rose, we find a (not-so) quaint little house in a neighborhood not too far away. A house that's often referred to as the Loud House.
Inside, the Loud kids, which consists of 10 girls (with contrasting ages and personalities) and their one white-haired brother, were all eating breakfast at the table. Most of them had already finished completely.
Their brother sighed happily and leaned back in his chair. "I don't know how you do it Leni, but those were some of the best waffles I've ever had."
"Aw, thanks Lincoln," said his second oldest sister. "It's all thanks to my secret ingredient of honey cinnamon. I'd tell you, but then it wouldn't be a secret anymore."
The oldest sister of the family, Lori, rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Leni, we literally need to talk about keeping things secret."
However, the one who had barely touched her food was their youngest, infant sister.
"Come on now, Lily," Lincoln encouraged. "If you don't finish your breakfast, we won't be able to have lunch. And today we're having a picnic lunch."
"I'm eating! I'm eating!" She babbles while stuffing her face. "Hold your horses!"
"Yeah, Lily!" Said a tomboyish teenage sister, Lynn. "Hurry up. The sooner you finish, the sooner we can go."
"Oh that reminds me!" Said a younger tomboy, Lana. "I gotta get my picnic hat!"
Lana immediately got out of her chair and ran up the stairs to her room.
Once there, she took off her red hat and switched it out for her picnic hat (which was pretty much the same as her usual hat, but more scuffed and musty).
"Hops! Picnic day, Hops!" She called.
In a small terrarium next to her bed, a little frog leaped out and right into Lana's overalls pocket.
Meanwhile, the others were all in their respective rooms gathering their things for the picnic.
Lynn was getting together some games and activities.
Looking in her closet and tossing things into a tote bag.
"Whizbee, roller skates, field hockey sticks…….Now where did I put that football?"
"Here you go."
Lynn was surprised by her spooky little sister (and roommate) Lucy, who was holding her football in hand. "You left it in my coffin after kicking it through the window the other day."
Lynn (uneasily but casually) took the football back. "Gee, thanks Luce."
In the kitchen, Leni and Luan were fixing sandwiches while Lori was putting them into the picnic basket.
Soon enough, everyone gathered into the living room with their stuff.
Lisa supervised and looked over her clipboard. "Basket full of tasty goods?"
Lori and Leni held up the picnic basket. "Check!"
"Tote bag full of fun games?"
Lynn gathered the tote bag. "Check."
"A big old comfy blanket?"
Lincoln was holding up the checkered blanket. "Check!"
"Or rather 'checkered'," laughed Luan.
Lisa rolled her eyes. "A group of siblings eager for an afternoon of fun and food?"
"Check!" They all said with a thumbs up.
"Perfect. We have everything we need for our very own picnic."
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Lincoln declares. "To Tall Timbers park!"
The kids all ran out the door and into the van.
Lori took the wheel. "Here we go!"
And so off they went.
Soon enough, they made it to Tall Timbers park.
"We're here!" Lori announced. "Everyone out."
The kids all got out of the van and stretched.
"Ahhh!" Sighed Lincoln happily. "Feel the wind on your turkey tail. Isn't it great?"
"I haven't been to Tall Timbers park in a long time!" Said Leni. "It's amazing out here!"
Lynn was more or less indifferent. "Eh, it's a little hotter than I remember. Has the earth gotten warmer? That'd be great to know that. That'd be a very convenient truth."
"There'll be plenty of time to admire the atmosphere later," says Lisa. "For now, we must find the right spot for our picnic."
Lana found a spot near the pond. "Here! Here will do fine."
"No," Lisa protested. "We need to move farther up land so the ground's not too soggy. But not too far from the playground either. Let's see, it needs to have wide enough space to stretch out with the right amount of sunlight for sufficient vitamin D, but just enough trees to prevent extreme sunburns, and above all, a nice view."
"Why not here?" Lincoln found a spot in the middle of the forest. There were a few trees for shade, but not too many, it was close enough to both the pond and the playground, and the ground itself was soft and dry.
Lisa inspected the area and declared it……
"Perfect! This is perfect."
"Cool!" Said Lana. "While you guys set up, I'm going to go check on the Fishmans."
And she ran off and dived into the pond while the others set up the picnic.
Lincoln layed out the blanket nice and flat, Luna put up the sun umbrella, Lola and Lily placed the basket in the middle, Luan set up the plates everywhere and finally, Leni picked a flower and put it in a vase.
"Precisely perfect," Lisa declared.
"Great! Now let's eat," Lynn demanded. "I'm starved."
As the Louds were having their picnic, Tommy was waking up in the same cave he slept in.
"Man! That was a rough night," he said.
He took RobotBoy in his pack and headed out.
"Come on, Ro. Let's go. Hopefully we can find a place to recharge your batteries."
A couple hours passed, and by then, the Louds had finished eating everything.
"Man I'm stuffed," Lincoln sighed with satisfaction.
"Me too," Leni agreed. "How many sandwiches did we eat?"
"Two," Luan answered.
The others looked confused. "Two?"
"Two thousand."
"That's what I thought," laughed Leni. "They were great, Lori. Thanks."
"Thanks for helping me make them, Leni," Lori replied.
"I must say, this was a rather marvelous experience," Lisa stated.
"I'm surprised Lucy decided to join in," Lola retorts.
"Even a bit of sunlight and fresh air does me good," Lucy replied.
"Whatever floats your boat, bub."
"You know what, guys? We should really do this more often," Lincoln suggested.
"I hear that, little bro," Luna agreed.
"Hey, Lynn! How about another round of Fetch the Whizzbee?" Asked Lana.
"But Lans, we just played it 12 times."
"What's one more than?"
"I'm kind of tired."
Lana continued to beg. "Come on, just a couple more throws! Please?"
Lynn was still worn out, but seeing Lana's puppy eyes, it was tough for her to say no (even for a tough tomboy like her). "Oh, alright. What's two more? Go long, Lans!"
Lana panted excitedly, wagging her tail (metaphorically). Lynn tossed the disc toward her and Lana leaped into the air and caught it with her teeth.
"Not bad. But I want a challenge. Get me a longer distance." Lana tossed the disc back to Lynn.
"Okay, you asked for it."
Lynn threw the disc even harder. But as Lana tried to catch it, not only did she miss, but it flew over her head and past several trees further into the woods.
"Great!" Lori sighed with a facepalm. "That was literally the only whizzbee we brought."
"Don't worry, I'll get it," Lincoln assured. "You guys finish packing up."
So Lincoln got up to look for the disk.
Meanwhile, Tommy was wandering through the woods with RobotBoy in his pack.
At first, after having to sleep in the cold rain, he was pretty depressed and frustrated. But when taking a walk, he grew a bit of admiration for his surroundings.
"Huh, this is a pretty big place. Wide open spaces, plenty of fresh air, what more could you need? Maybe that train made exploring new places my personal destiny. I would really like this, that is, if I weren't completely lost."
Just then, he felt something hit him in the back of his head.
"Ow!"
He looked down at his feet and saw it was a small plastic flying disc.
"Hey! Where'd this come from? Someone must've lost it. That means someone else is around here. Better not let them see me, or—."
"Hello? Is someone there?"
"Oh no!" The minute he heard that voice, Tommy ran and hid behind a nearby tree.
Soon after, Lincoln came by and picked up the whizzbee, but stopped and looked around very suspiciously.
"Hmm, that's weird," he wondered. "I could've sworn I heard someone around here. Oh well."
Lincoln then shrugged and started to walk away.
Tommy sighed with relief. "Phew! That was close."
He tries to sneak away and hide, but ends up stepping on a twig, which Lincoln manages to hear. At that point, Tommy immediately makes a break for it and dashes off.
"Hey! Come back!" Lincoln yells as he chases after him.
Tommy kept on running away, hiding behind trees and playground equipment, trying to lose him, but to little avail. He kept going until he jumped inside a bush.
It wasn't long before Lincoln caught up. "Come on out now."
"Uh……pay no attention to the boy inside the bush!"
"Look, I'm not gonna hurt you. I just want to talk."
Lincoln pushes some of the branches out of the way and Tommy crawls out of the bush. "Who-who are you?"
"Nobody. Just a boy, like you. Name's Lincoln. You're probably new to the neighborhood."
"Yeah, I guess you could say that. What is this place?"
"Royal Woods, Michigan."
"Michigan?"
"Yeah. Where do you come from?"
"Uhh…..just some other state nearby." Tommy tried his best to lie. It wasn't great, but enough.
"Oh, okay. Are you lost or something?"
"Yeah, yeah, that's right. I was on a walk and then got lost, and I'm looking for something to eat. I'm kinda hungry. Listen, sorry for running from you. I thought you were chasing after me or something."
"Eh, no worries." Lincoln took off his backpack and took something out of it, a bag of carrot sticks and one with cookies. "Here. I was saving these for later, but you can have them."
Tommy accepted the offer. "Uh, okay. Thanks."
Just then, a female voice came out calling. "Lincoln! Hurry up! It's time to go!"
"Coming!" Lincoln calls out. "Sorry, I gotta go. See you later."
Lincoln took off while Tommy just stood there, looking on in amazement. "Whoa!"
Moments later, the van drove back to the Loud house and up the driveway.
The kids then all got out one by one as the sun began to set.
"Best picnic ever!" Shouted Lily.
"You said it, Lilster," Luna agreed.
"Yeah! We should really do it again sometime!" Lincoln declared.
"Hey, if it means I get to spend more time with the Fishmans, I'm in," said Lana.
And they all went into the house.
After they closed the door, a certain someone peeked from behind the van.
It was Tommy.
"Phew! Good thing they didn't see me."
However, he was having second thoughts about his idea.
"Wait! Should I even be doing this? I don't even know this family or this place. But then again, it was nice of him to offer his snacks, and it would be rude not to properly thank him. Heck, he doesn't even know my name or what I've been through and he was still kind."
So he ultimately decided……
"Why not?"
Tommy ran towards the front door. He was about to knock, but……..
"Oh, who am I kidding? I can't just barge right in and startle everyone. They'll think I'm a freak."
Then he looked up and spotted a small round window in the house with a light shining through, and that gave him an idea.
In that very room (which was a former linen closet), Lincoln was sitting on his bed reading a comic book.
When suddenly, he heard a tapping noise on his window.
"Huh?"
The boy thought he was just hearing things and went back to his book.
Outside, Tommy realized throwing small pebbles wasn't getting his attention.
"Drat!" He griped. "I'm gonna need something bigger."
Just then, something hit him on the head.
"Ow!"
It turned out to be an apple from the tree he was standing under.
"Hmmm. This could work," he thought.
Back in Lincoln's room, he was still minding his business, when the apple flew through his window and slammed into his door, turning to mush.
"Hey! Who threw that?" Lincoln looks out his bedroom window and down at the ground and sees the same square-headed boy from earlier. "Oh it's you."
Tommy waved from where he was standing. "Hey there! Mind if I come in?"
"Sshhhhhh! Not so Loud." Lincoln then threw out a long rope of cloth that reached down to the ground. "Here, climb on this."
Tommy grabbed onto the rope and climbed up the wall to the roof. Once at the top, he threw his backpack through the window into Lincoln's room before proceeding in himself. Unfortunately, Tommy's square head ends up getting stuck in Lincoln's round window.
"Uhh……little help?"
Lincoln grabs the little boy's legs and pulls him inside. It took a bit of struggling, but Tommy finally got his head through the window and fell onto the floor, much to his pain. "This is what I get for having a cube for a head."
"What are you doing here at this time of night?" Lincoln asked.
"I never got a chance to introduce myself. My name's Tommy. Tommy Turnbull." Tommy extended his hand out for a handshake.
Lincoln accepted the handshake. "Uh….okay. Nice to meet you."
"You too. Lincoln, right?" Tommy takes a look around the room. "So is this where you live? Seems a little small."
"Yeah, I know. But when you have a family as big as mine, space can be very limited." Just then, one word out of Lincoln's mouth made him worry. "My family! Oh no! You can't be here! If they catch you, we'll both be in so much trouble."
"Oh come on! Please! I can't go back out there! You don't know what it's like to be considered an outcast!" Tommy then noticed Lincoln's white hair, to which the latter gave him a glare and a raised brow. "Well, then again, maybe you do. But that's why we gotta stick together! You've gotta let me stay! Please! Please!"
Tommy began tugging Lincoln's shirt, and he ultimately gave in. "Okay! Okay. Calm down. You can stay for now, but you have to be quiet."
Tommy let go. "Thank you."
"Now I have to go out. Just stay here. Remember, be quiet."
"Don't worry, 'quiet' is my middle name."
"Too bad it's none of our last names," Lincoln muttered to himself as he stepped out the door.
But once he did, he saw all 10 girls standing outside his room glaring at him suspiciously.
"Oh! Uh……hey ladies," he said.
"Okay, bro. Who are you hiding in there?" Luna questioned.
Lincoln began sweating. "Hiding? What makes you think I'm hiding something?"
"Call it a hunch," says Luan. "You really didn't think it's that easy keeping secrets in this house, did you?"
"What makes you think I have any secrets?"
"We heard you talking to someone," Lynn added. "Who's in the room?"
"Oh that? I was just talking…….to myself."
Lana raised her brow. "Yourself?"
"Yeah, you know? I do it all the time. What, a guy can't talk to himself if he wants to? It's a free country."
"Sure bro, sure."
The girls all rolled their eyes and Lincoln realized they were just playing him. "There's no way you're buying this, is there?"
"Nope," they all said.
Lincoln slapped his forehead. "Why do I try?" He then knocked on his door. "Alright pal, come on out."
Suddenly, the door opened and Tommy stepped out. "Jig's up, isn't it?"
"Afraid so. Everyone, this is Tommy. Tommy, these are my sisters."
"All of them?"
"Yep."
"Woah!"
"What is he literally doing here?" Lori asked.
"I may have given him some of my snacks while we were at the park and he followed me home," Lincoln shyly told them.
"Lincoln! Remember what Mom and Dad said about giving things to strangers!" Leni reminds.
"I know. But he looked so hungry. I couldn't just leave him to starve."
"He's right," Tommy explained. "I didn't have much to eat when I got here. Look, I promise I won't be a bother! Can I please stay?"
The girls didn't immediately respond, but they all looked at the young boy's face and saw the despair in his eyes. That look was unsettling, but also tough to resist.
"Okay then," Lori said. "You can stay…….for now."
"Well, nice to have you a-round, Tommy," Luan said with a laugh. "Tell me, were you shipped here in a package?"
The young boy looked confused. "What makes you say that?"
"Because you look a bit square to me," she joked. "Actually I'd say a lot square. But no need to get that dome of yours more bent out of shape than it already is."
Tommy then realized Luan was talking about his head shape, which didn't sound very amusing to him.
Luan nudged his shoulder. "Aw, come on. I was just joking. No hard feelings, right?"
Tommy didn't look her in the face, but still gave an answer. "I guess."
"Get used to it," Lincoln whispered. "She tends to do that a lot."
"Yeah, I didn't mean anything bad by it. Whenever you need a laugh, I'm your girl. By the way, I'm Luan."
Luan extended her hand out. Tommy held out his hand and gave her a handshake. "Uh……nice to meet you?"
That's when he felt a buzz on his hand, which was revealed to be triggered by one of Luan's hand buzzers.
"Sorry, couldn't resist," she laughed.
"Don't sweat it," said another Loud sister. "She gets me with that gag all the time. Also, name's Luna."
Tommy gave her a handshake. "Uh, hi. How do you do?" He then turned towards the two oldest girls. "And I'm guessing you two are the ones in charge."
"That's literally right. I'm Lori and this is Leni."
"Hi!" Leni waved excitedly.
"Technically, I'm the oldest and former leader of the house. Leni here is the new sister in charge. I've been taking her under my wing."
"I didn't even know she had wings," Leni whispered to him.
Tommy just rolled his eyes.
Next was the athlete. "S'up? Name's Lynn Loud Jr." Lynn raised her arm as if she were about to punch Tommy, which made him shriek. She then played two light punches on his arm. "Two for flinching."
Tommy then felt another hand shake his hand rapidly. "Nice to meet you, Tommy. I'm Lana."
After that, Tommy found his own hand all muddy and dirty. "Uhhh……you too."
Lana pulled her twin sister to her side. "And this is my twin, Lola."
The mention of that name seemed familiar to Tommy. "Lola, huh? At least I can remember that name easily."
Lola rolled her eyes. "Great, another boy in the house. Anyway, as you heard, I am Miss Lola Loud. The first, last and only multi-talented pageant winner in Royal Woods."
"Is that why there's two of you?" Tommy asked confusedly.
Lola scoffed. "What are you talking about? Lana's just my twin. We're nothing alike."
Lola brought her twin closer to her side to show how different they are (aside from their faces).
Tommy was still confused.
"Lola's the one in pink with a tiara," Lincoln clarifies. "Lana's got a cap and overalls."
"Ah."
"Hi. I'm Lucy."
Tommy then got surprised and jumped when Lucy appeared right behind him. "Uh…..hello?"
He still felt a bit timid after recovering.
"Don't be afraid," Lincoln whispered. "She may look scary, but she's really nice once you get to know her."
Tommy chuckled uneasily. "I'll keep that in mind."
The young genius was next. "Greetings, male newcomer. I am Lisa Marie Loud, resident scientist."
And last but not least was the youngest sister. "My name, Lily."
Tommy just smiled and picked her up. "Hehehe, you're a cute little one." He set her down and turned to everyone else. "This is a pretty nice place you got here."
"Yeah, we get that a lot," said Lincoln.
"So where are you from?" Asked Luna.
"Bay Area," Tommy answered.
"Are you referring to San Francisco, California, by chance?" Lisa wondered.
"The very same."
"How's the ocean?" Asks Lana curiously.
"You know, pretty big," he says with a shrug.
"What about snow?" Lynn questions.
"Too warm."
"You seen the Golden Gate Bridge?" Luan urged.
"Occasionally."
The girls then began talking and bombarding him with questions, getting all up in his face.
Lori broke up the crowd. "Okay, that's enough. Give him some breathing room. Now, going back to the beginning; what brings you to Royal Woods?"
That question made Tommy a bit nervous, as he began sweating and tugging his shirt collar. "Uhh……uhhhh………oh, well. Details aren't important. But I promise I won't get in your way. Don't you worry."
Just then, a couple voices came that startled everyone.
"Kids! We're home!"
"Uh oh," said Lucy. "It's Mom and Dad!"
Tommy panicked the most. "Oh man! What should I do? If they see me, they'll flip! Where do I go?!"
"Quick! Hide in my room!" Lincoln told Tommy.
And so he did. He ran right in and shut the door.
The Loud kids then rushed down the stairs right as their parents, Rita and Lynn Sr stepped in.
"Hi Mom!" They quickly greeted. "Hi Dad!"
The parents seemed a bit puzzled at their sudden response.
"Uh…….hi kids," Rita responded. " Everything okay? You seem a bit anxious."
"Anxious? We're not anxious," Lincoln defended. "We're just happy to see you. See?"
Lincoln's wide smile was enough to raise more suspicions.
"Are you rascals hiding something for us?" their father asked sternly.
The kids began to shake and sweat.
"H-H-hiding?" Luan asked worriedly. "Wh-what makes you think we're hiding--"
"Ha!" Lynn Sr laughed. "I'm just messing with ya."
The kids all sighed with relief.
"So, how was your picnic?" asked rita.
"It was literally great," Lori answered.
"Yeah, we had lots of fun!" Lincoln agreed. "We played games, ate lots of food…."
"And I got to hang with the Fishmans!" Lana added.
Rita chuckled. "Well i'm glad you all had a good time."
"And I hope you still have room in your tummies, because i got us an extra large pizza!"
Their father held out the pizza box and opened it. A bright golden glow came from inside, leaving the kids amazed and wide-eyed.
"Oh, you can never be too full for pizza," snickered Lola.
Soon after, the Louds all ate dinner, with the kids wolfing down their pizza like animals.
Until finally…….
"Oh, ding, dang darn it!" shouted Lynn Sr. "only one piece left."
Indeed, there was. The Louds all looked and saw there was just one slice left in the box.
Rita facepalmed. "I suppose you all are going to argue about who gets it and why. Just get it over with."
The kids all turned to one another and nodded.
"You know, I think maybe Lincoln should have it," Luan said with a wink. "Right guys?"
The others began to catch on.
"Why yes. I second that," Lisa winked in response. "Unless anyone else has any objections?"
"Nope," the other girls (but one) shook their heads.
Lola raised her hand until Lana nudged her. "Ow! Oh, I mean, you deserve it big brother."
Lana winked towards Lincoln.
Lincoln winked back. "Gee guys, that's awfully nice of you." Lincoln took the last slice and put it on his plate. "In fact, this looks so good, I think I'll take it upstairs to enjoy it."
"Go right ahead, bro," Luna winked.
So Lincoln took the plate and headed up the stairs.
Leni was rather confused about the winking. "Did everyone get something in their eye?"
"Leni, shush!" Lori ordered.
"What?"
The parents were both just as confused.
Upstairs, Lincoln went to his room with the plate.
Once he opened the door, Tommy immediately panicked and hid under the bed.
"Relax, Tommy," Lincoln assured. "It's only me."
Tommy crawled out and dusted himself off. "Sorry, Lincoln. You startled me."
"I brought you a slice of pizza. Figured you'd still be hungry."
"Thanks." Tommy took the plate and took a seat on Lincoln's bed.
"Try to get some rest. I'll be back later."
Lincoln closed the door and left.
Tommy just smiled as he laid back into the bed and ate the pizza slice.
"I could get used to this."
