Chapter 4: Halloween's Tonight

-On October 31, Retroville's time is 7 p.m. The weather is cloudy and cool (68F temperature) tonight-

Cindy wore a jet black halter top with a logo of a flaming heart slain by a wooden stake with the name Muffy the Vampire Annihilator, bright red pants, jet black Converse sneakers, black fingernails, black finger-less gloves with spikes on the wrists, black spiked neck collar, and black tattoo on her right arm. Her hairband also becomes black instead of its usual pink. Libby wore a purple shirt with white curly designs, white pants, and white shoes for her fashion model Halloween costume. Gina wore a long white angel dress with wings, a white Marabou feather headband halo, and silver goddess sandals. Britney wore a tall pink plastic crown, pink poly-satin dress with a sheer overlay featuring silver stars, sheer sleeves, and fabric butterflies named Wizard of Oz costume. Meanwhile, these four girls held the Halloween pumpkin bags while they stood outside next to Cindy's house.

"Okay, girls, I want to tell you all about the Halloween story," Cindy lectured her friends. "Don't worry about Jimmy's inventions over the last several years; everything will be fine."

"I remembered when I turned right into a werewolf, and you turned right into a vampire last time," Libby remarked. "Sheen was a real werewolf, and he bit me. Right, Cindy?"

"Yeah, Carl was a real vampire when he hypnotized and bit me," Cindy replied. "Plus, Jimmy used a stupid invention named Neutronic Monster Maker last year."

"Why did Jimmy choose to be the real monsters of Carl and Sheen?" Britney asked.

"I don't know," Cindy shrugged her shoulders. "When Carl and I were a vampire, I chased after Neutron until we suddenly got scared and flew off when he stood right in front of Lucky Tony's House of Garlic display window."

"Sheen and I ran after Jimmy, where we got scared of the silver store," Libby added.

"That sounds frightening," Gina said. "And next?"

"I guess Jimmy's dad accidentally fell right into Jimmy's lab and turned himself into Frankenstein," Cindy explained a story. "His dad and we were arguing and fighting except Jimmy, but Jimmy's mom broke up to stop fighting. I found out Sam and Ms. Fowl called up an angry mob armed with silver, garlic, and fire when we went to the Candy Bar. They chased us into the golf course to hide behind the windmill on one of the courses until we saw Jimmy come from the sky after turning himself into a giant Octopus Man. And then, Jimmy grabbed and took us with his eight arms to return home, where he became us return to being human again."

"Hmm, that's almost horror," Gina clearly said.

"Yeah, after Sam and an angry mob ran off in horror. Jimmy said in a scary voice, Trick-or-Treat..." Cindy said.

"Girl, I'm so glad when Jimmy and his friends won't come with us with a fricking invention," Libby remarked.

"Yeah, I agree with you, Libby!" Cindy sarcastically said. "Don't worry about the past, so let's go and say trick-or-treat around the neighbors."

These four girls walked together around the neighbors and said, "Trick-or-Treat?" for less than an hour until they got some candies in their Halloween bags.

"I can't believe it! I got many candies," Britney surprisingly said.

"Me too," Gina added.

"Okay, it gets dark sky right now, so we'd better return home," Cindy told her friends. "Enjoy eating these candies, but not all of them."

"Alright, girl!" Libby agreeably said while Gina and Britney wordlessly nodded.

"Happy Halloween!" the quartet exclaimed in unison as they slapped their hands a high five. "High five!"

Those four girls headed to return to their houses.
