Chapter 12: Going Home

In the previous chapter, Jimmy and Carl had prevented the asteroid from hitting Planet Gorlock. They returned to the planet, where the rest of Team Neutron, Space Bandits, and the Gorlockian people were waiting for them. They landed right and saw their friends, who were cheering.

"Carl! You finally overcome your fears!" Sheen happily exclaimed as he ran up to hug Carl so tight.

"Jimmy!" Cindy exclaimed as she ran up to Jimmy and hugged him as well. "I was too worried about you!"

"You both did it!" Papa Gorlock happily said. "You saved all of our planet."

"Way to go, dude!" Nick smiled as he playfully punched Jimmy on the arm. "You too, Carl!"

"You know, Jimmy, you're not stupid after all," Cindy said.

"Really?" Jimmy asked.

"No," Cindy replied as she shook her head. "You're a hero."

"Thanks, Cindy," Jimmy smiled.

"I actually helped save the Planet Gorlock," Carl told himself. "This is probably the first proudest day of my life."

"Congrats, you guys," Tee happily said as he walked over to Jimmy and Carl with open arms.

"No group hugs!" Jimmy and Carl shouted.

"Dammit!" Tee deadpanned.

"You've saved the day again, Jimmy Neutron," April said as she kissed the boy genius's lips.

"Oy vey," Cindy rolled her eyes.

"April, will you join us for the party at the park tomorrow night?" Jimmy asked.

"Hmm, well, it looks like I'll be busy with my parents and people," April replied. "I'm sorry, but all of you will enjoy the party."

"Yes, we will," Jimmy said before turning to April. "So, will I see you again, April?"

"As I said before, our realms are separated from parsecs of space, Earthy boy. Maybe sometime soon," April said, then she kissed Jimmy on the lips again before returning to her folks.

"Shoot!" Cindy said as she slapped her forehead. "Why doesn't anyone care about my feelings?"

"No," Libby bluntly said. "No, they don't."

"Hey, Jimmy, now my colleagues and I are going to be with you kids," Zix suggested. "We will be staying on Earth for one day."

"That sounds excellent," Travoltron added.

"Yeah, of course," Jimmy nodded. "It will start at 7:30 p.m. And meet us tomorrow night."

The Space Bandits wordlessly nodded.

"Hey, Jimmy, do you mind when we can play golf here?" Sheen asked.

"No, Sheen," Jimmy replied. "We will be leaving here right now."

"So long, Jimmy Neutron and friends," April said. "Bye, you guys. And see you whenever."

Team Neutron and Space Bandits walked right into their respective spaceships and lifted off into space. They were heading to the planet Earth.

"Bye! Good-bye! So long," Gorlockian people waved goodbye to their friends.

-Into the space-

Jimmy turned on the ship's radio and spoke into the speaker. "Jimmy Neutron is calling the Space Bandits! Come in, now!"

"This is Zix to Jimmy Neutron," Zix said over the radio. "Read you loud and clear."

"Do you know where is the planet Earth when we're on our way? Will you follow me?" Jimmy asked through the speaker.

"Yeah, of course. Follow me," Zix said through the speaker.

"Thank you," Jimmy said through the speaker.

"You're welcome, Jimmy," Zix said through the speaker. "What are friends for."

Jimmy turned on the autopilot and turned to his friends. "Guys, how about some traveling music to set the mood?"

"You just read my mind, Jimmy," Libby snapped her fingers. "Hit it!"

Jimmy turned on the radio, and some pop music began playing. Everybody started moving to the rhythm.

"We're teenagers in America! We're teenagers in America! Everybody lives for the music go-round!" Team Neutron sang along to the song as they were on their way to return to the planet Earth.

-A few hours later, so Retroville's time is 4:15 p.m.-

Into the Earth's atmosphere, the Astro-car spaceship safely landed in the back of Jimmy's clubhouse, so McSpanky ship safely landed anywhere.

"Jimmy, I want to say thank you for inviting me into the universe," Gina happily said. "I enjoyed taking a space trip with you guys, and that was a great experience."

"No problem," Jimmy said, winking. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. You can come with us to the party tomorrow night."

"All right," Gina nodded.

"I wonder if we can go to the Candy Bar tonight?" Carl wondered.

"Excellent choice," Sheen said. "It's the perfect way to celebrate saving the Planet Gorlock."

"Oy vey," Jimmy rolled his eyes.

"Hey, Nerdtron! I'll be watching you all the time when we go to the party tomorrow night!" Cindy proclaimed. "If I catch you something, I wish you were never ever born!"

"Whatever," Jimmy rolled his eyes. "Everyone, it's time to return to your home. This party will be starting by 7:30 p.m. tomorrow."

Team Neutron headed back to their houses.

"Jimbo, how's your space trip with your friends?" Hugh asked his son.

"That's splendid, Dad," Jimmy replied.

"Good to hear that," Hugh smiled as he patted Jimmy on the shoulder. "Your mom is cooking dinner right now."

"Gina, do you mind if we visit your house by 7 p.m. for socializing and playing a board game?" Cindy asked.

"Sure, that sounds awesome," Gina replied, thinking. (I'm not allowing these boys to enter my house, except my boyfriend.)

"Alright, girl," Libby smiled. "We'll see you tonight."

-At 7:15 p.m., in Gina's house-

Cindy, Libby, Gina, and Britney were sitting on the floor in the living room with their legs folded.

"Where are Jimmy, Carl, Sheen, and Nick?" Britney asked.

"I think they went to the Candy Bar," Libby replied.

"Oh, okay," Britney stated.

"Gina, you're so lucky when Zix, Travoltron, and Tee are good guys to meet you for the first time. Jimmy, Goddard, Carl, Sheen, Libby, and I met the Space Bandits, who were bad guys attempting to steal these aster rubies and nearly killed us on the asteroid belt while we were on a space trip," Cindy explained. "Then, Nick and Britney met them, but they were still bad guys, whom they caught and sold us as toys since these townspeople shrunk after Jimmy was at fault. I guess Betty Quinlan in the same way."

"I saw Tee was too mean when he threw Nick, Britney, and Bolbi against the fish tank wall, and he wanna eat us," Libby added. "Plus, Nick confronted him."

"He brutality grabbed my hair, 'OW! OW! My hair!' I painfully screamed." Britney added. "And he threatened and yelled at us, 'If you don't shut your mouth, I'll eat you fools! Eat you bad!' I was too scared to death."

"Oh, my gosh! That sounds vicious," Gina shook her head.

"Yeah," Cindy bluntly said. "Tee was being aggressive, rude, tough, distracted, idiotic, dramatic, and reckless while being a bad guy. Diversely, he turned into a good guy, and now he's a nice and cool guy."

"He was too excessive to call everyone a fool and being dramatic, but now he reduced," Libby added.

"You're so lucky!" Britney grinned as she patted Gina on the shoulder.

"Gina, I recognized Tee is a hugger, but you don't need to hug him because he's not a good hugger," Cindy remarked. "He's still immature, so little."

"Tee gave me a tight hug, making me uncomfortable," Libby added. "Right, Cindy?"

"Yes," Cindy agreed.

"Hmm, okay. I don't want to hug Tee warmly," Gina said, thinking. (I can't be cheating on Royce. I think Tee and Royce have similar athletic bodies, but that alien guy is more muscular than my boyfriend.)

"Don't worry, so he already learned his lessons after he went to the counseling center," Cindy assured as she patted Gina on the back. "Honestly, Royce is a great person we've ever met. I know you always love him as far."

"I'm sure your boyfriend, Royce is better than Tee ever!" Libby remarked. "LOL!"

"Yes, indeed," Gina nodded.

-A few minutes later-

"Who wants to play Ms. Monopoly?" Gina wondered as she brought the board game.

"Yeah!" Cindy, Libby, and Britney happily said.

"Hey, Mom, can you please bring the table here to play the game?" Gina called out to her mother.

"Yes, sure," Mrs. Maylor replied as she placed the rectangle (120x80 cm) Korean dining table on the floor between those four teenage girls. Gina put the board game on the table.

"Thanks, ma'am," Libby happily said.

"You're welcome," Mrs. Maylor smiled. "Have fun."

Those four teenage girls started playing Ms. Monopoly for over an hour.

-Over an hour later-

"Girls, I think we should return to our homes," Cindy told her friends.

"I'm pretty tired," Britney said.

"I'm very grateful to you three for visiting my house," Gina happily said. "And enjoying fun with all of you."

"No problem at all," Cindy smiled. "Let's group hug."

Those four teenage girls were in a group hug.

Cindy, Libby, and Britney waved their hand before they returned to their houses, "Bye, Gina. And see you tomorrow night."

"Bye, girls," Gina said as she waved her hand back. "You too."
