New Friend and Subordinate in the Woods
Iruma is standing in front of a counter shelf that has three objects: an apple, a small log, and a sword with Opera standing on the other side while Ghislaine is leaning her back against the wall watching the training from a short distance.
"Now Lord Iruma, we will start off with the changing spells again with these objact." Opera said gesturing at the objects.
"Okay." Iruma nodded and hold his hand out to the log first.
"Remember to imagine how you want your magic to do and make it happen like say if you want to change the colors or change its form, it's all about willing it." Opera stated.
"Right, make it happen." Iruma responded with another nod.
Iruma looks at the log for a moment seeing as it is now and then channeling his magic power into his hands which emits a dark blue demonic aura, he focuses on the log to imagine what he wants to do with it.
"Col-Blaka." Iruma chanted the word of the spell and the log started to glow for a few seconds and the shape started to change into a square form and the glowing stop showing the log is no longer a log, but stone.
Opera taps on the stone to see if his new lord has done the task and lifting the stone to feel it in their hand, he looks to Iruma who has a little worry look on his face as he hopes that he did a great job with the spell. The red hair servant of unknown gender look at Iruma for a second and gave him a nod with his kitty ears pointing up.
"Alright, I did it!" Iruma cheered.
"Well done, Lord Iruma, another successful spell complete." Opera said.
"Ghislaine, did you see that. I did another spell!" Iruma said to his beast woman bodyguard.
"I saw, that was exactly work, my lord and you were able to master it in just four days like all the other magic lessons you have done." Ghislaine impressed with her lord's progress in the art.
It's been about two months since I came to this world after I died and been reborn as a new Demon Lord in another world which I learned that it's full of magic and sword like in those fantasy anime shows, still very shock to me and never thought it could happen to me. But here am I, in another world and also a very powerful demon which is kind of scary, but I've been doing fine thanks to having Opera and Ghislaine with me.
"Now Lord Iruma, next is to make that sword float and hit that target." Opera instructed pointing at the target on the wall he set up.
"Got it!" Iruma nodded and walk over to the sword.
They have been teaching me everything about this world on everything they currently know so far including the monsters and humans, and each have been teaching me other things too like Opera is helping me control my overwhelming magical powers.
Iruma focus his magic power at the sword wanting to make it float though the sword is wobbling a little until he made it stop and it stood still, he slowly moves the blade pointing it at the target and with a single, slight movement of his hand the sword flew fast at the target not only piercing right at the center, but also the tip of the sword got to the other side of the wall.
"You got the center, and this time you didn't destroy the entire wall like you did the first two times. Well done." Opera sad with a thumb up.
"I'm glad to hear that." Iruma smiled.
Yeah, the first time I started to learn about magic was learning about my own magical capabilities like with seeing my aura which was REALLY huge when I started to see magic aura, I was scared at first and accidentally fired a red lightning bolt.
(Flashback)
Iruma became scared of seeing his magic aura being huge and spreading all over the room and more, he freaks out that he couldn't listen to Opera and Ghislaine about calming down, and Iruma suddenly unleashed a red lightning bolt was shot out from his hand.
The bolt flew toward Ghislaine as it was about to hit her, but she reacted faster and just in time when the bolt was about five inches away to her body and reflect it away with her sword.
"I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!" Iruma apologized to Ghislaine while Opera looked at the hole in the wall where the lightning bolt struck.
(Flashback End)
I almost hurt Ghislaine even though she protected herself from that, I still felt bad and doing everything I can to make sure I don't hurt her again.
Iruma just finish making that one apple into two and the second one he created into a mixture color of blue and pink.
"Excellent, duplication and color changing at the same time. You have indeed grown much stronger throughout the past two months." Opera complimented.
"Thank you very much." Iruma smiled.
"Now would you please get that sword for me." Opera gestured to the sword on the target.
"Sure, no problem." Iruma nodded and went over to the wall getting the sword.
"My lord, you're being told what to do again." Ghislaine alerted her lord causing Iruma to gasp.
"Oh dear, it would appear that we still cannot deal with his habit of not being able to say no." Opera said.
"I'm sorry, it just been that way for most of my life." Iruma sighed as he pulled out the sword with one pull with his superhuman strength.
"Not to worry, I believe you maybe able to turn that habit into something you can be proud of." Opera stated.
"I'm not sure about that." Iruma said.
"Alright, I think the magic lesson is done. Time, we get to our combat training." Ghislaine said with a hand on her hip.
"Right, I'm ready." Iruma said with a small determine look in his eyes.
The other lesson I'm doing with Ghislaine is about fighting or at least to defend myself in brutal and dangerous situations, even though it was scary, and her methods can be a little harsh as well, but she really means well.
Iruma and Ghislaine are seen outside in the courtyard within the large mansion with Opera doing the observing from a distance as well.
"Now, we're gonna see how you do with attacking with a weapon and when I attack, no dodging just defends." Ghislaine said pointing her wooden sword at Iruma.
"No dodging, got it." Iruma nodded.
Back my old world, I've always just dodge from anything dangerous and never even fought back because I feared that would be more dangerous, but Ghislaine told me it's not a bad thing to fight back if it's to protect something close to you.
Iruma charges forward striking at Ghislaine with his wooden sword while she blocks each strike easily while holding her wooden sword with one arm.
Apparently, being reborn as a Demon Lord has given me superhuman strength and speed, and durability which I had to find out in a scary way, and through my first week of combat training I kept on dodging because of my body. While my dodging skill was impressive to them, they pointed out that dodging is going to save me forever and I knew they were right which is why I've been trying my best to not let my body keep on dodging.
Iruma strike again making contact with his wooden training sword againt Ghislaine then quickly twist his body around to attack again going for the right side of her torso, but Ghislaine reacted on that and blocks it forcing Iruma back.
"Almost got me there, good work, my lord." Ghislaine complimented as she does a fast dash attack.
Iruma planted his feet firmly on the ground to keep himself from dodging and managed to react in time to block Ghislaine's fast attack as she appeared behind him, but the force still pushes him back several feet and his right-wing flinch making Iruma turn around to block another attack.
And I think these new features like the wings and tail help me with the sensing of danger than my dodging which Opera dubbed it the name Overwhelming Crisis Evasion Capability, I wanted to tell him it wasn't necessary, but he insisted on it.
"Okay, I think that's enough. I decided for the next half of our lesson, we will go out in the forest so I can see your skill in survival when you told me about living in the woods of your old world." Ghislaine suggested.
"Okay, I guess we can do that." Iruma agreed.
"Here you two go, something to help with the survival of the fittest training." Opera said holding two bags in each hand.
"You don't need to say it like that." Iruma said with a sweatdrop.
"Lord Iruma, wait for me outside, I'll be with you shortly." Ghislaine said.
"Okay." Iruma nodded and ran off to the front of the mansion.
"So, how do you think he's doing?" Ghislaine asked Opera.
"Lord Iruma seems to be doing quite well, adapting to his new environment in these past two months and learning we've been teaching him. It looks like we won't have to worry about his safety once we leave the place." Opera explained.
"How long do we have?" Ghislaine asked.
"Ten days." Opera answered.
"I see, then we beet make our last ten days of this place count." Ghislaine nodded as she walks off to Iruma.
(Later)
Iruma is walking a couple of feet ahead of Ghislaine as she wants to observe from the back view of how he does in the woods. For the past two hours, Iruma how shown his skills of survival with telling the difference of a poison plant to a harmless one, looking carefully at the ground to see tracks of animals that have come by here, and picking the right berries.
"Hey, it's faint but I think I can hear a river over there." Iruma pointed in one direction of where the river is.
"You're right, it does sound like it." Ghislaine said as she listens to it too.
Iruma and Ghislaine walk over to the direction stumbling upon the river and the young Demon Lord took out a canteen to get some.
"Here, you must be thirsty by now." Iruma handed the canteen to Ghislaine.
"Are you sure you don't want some yourself, my Lord?" Ghislaine asked.
"I'm fine, I'll drink some when I feel like it." Iruma said.
"I must say, you seem to know very well with the survival skills you have learned like it's in your nature." Ghislaine complimented.
"Thanks, I guess it's a good thing I taught myself these sorts of things when my parents left me in the woods." Iruma mentioned.
"It's disgusting to hear that those who gave birth to you would treat you like trash, they're lucky I can't kill them myself." Ghislaine angered.
"Don't worry, let just do some more nature walk before we head back." Iruma said as they walk along the river bay.
"By the way, are you feeling okay, Ghislaine?" Iruma asked.
"Umm, why do you ask?" Ghislaine asked back.
"Well, it just I notice that you've been looking a little uncomfortable for some reason like something feels tight but you're trying to brush it off. It's been happening for the past few days now." Iruma pointed out shocking Ghislaine.
"Forgive me for saying this to you, my lord. I didn't think you would be that observant consider how shy and cute you are." Ghislaine chuckled.
"Huh, did you say I'm cute?" Iruma asked shock with his cheeks blushing.
"Nothing serious like that!" Ghislaine quickly said and her cheeks blush.
"A-Anyway, the uncomfortable thing is nothing serious. It just the tightness of my bra meaning that my breasts have been getting bigger." Ghislaine informed.
"You're what?" Iruma gasped.
"Yes, it would appear to be the case though I didn't think they would get bigger again." Ghislaine said about her age.
"Okay, I think we need to change the subject!" Iruma said, too embarrass to hear all that.
Suddenly the brushes from across the rivers started to shake getting their attention as Ghislaine ready herself just in case of danger, and a figure came out of the brushes over to the river panting hard of exhaustion wearing old ragged clothes and her face appears to be that of a girl.
"Huh, is that… a monster?" Iruma asked.
"It would appear so, and she appears to be running from something." Ghislaine said.
Right on cue, a big goat monster appears just a dozen feet from the monster girl to her right as the goat monster look towards the girl.
"It looks like this is the end for me…" The red-orange monster girl feared as she couldn't move anymore.
The goat monster roars and charges at the monster girl as she closes her eyes accepting her fate to die here, but Iruma suddenly appeared in front of her, bump into her, and hold out his hand.
"La Fire!" Iruma unleashed a powerful stream of fire at the goat monster burning and disintegrating the body in just six seconds. And left a big scorching mark as well.
"Oh no, I hope I didn't go overboard." Iruma said before turning to the monster girl.
"Hey, are you okay?" Iruma asked holding his hand out to her.
The red-orange monster girl just looks at her savior feeling something strange like her heart is flattering and her face is turning a little more red.
"Hey, Demon Lord Iruma asked you a question and it's best you answer." Ghislaine scolded.
"Ghislaine, be nicer to her. She was almost killed today; she is probably still shocked of it." Iruma stated.
"Wait, did she just say you're a Demon Lord?" The red-orange monster girl asked shock and quickly bow to him.
"I am honor to have been save by a Demon Lord, thank you very much." The red-orange monster girl thanked.
"There's no need for the bowing, I'm just happy you're safe from the monster." Iruma smiled.
"Yes." The red-orange monster girl smiled, but her eyes widen of realization.
"Wait, I just remember that goat monster was with another that was chasing me!" The red-orange monster girl informed.
"Huh, there is?" Iruma asked.
The second goat monster that the red-orange monster girl just talked about appear from the other side and charges at the three.
"AH! There is another one!" Iruma freaked out.
"Allow me to handle this, my Lord." Ghislaine unsheathed her sword and blitz past the goat monster in an instant.
A second later, a shockwave burst, and the goat monster is cut into several pieces as Ghislaine has killed it in one move.
"Whoa, that was awesome!" Iruma and the monster girl amazed.
"Looks like we found some tasty meat for dinner tonight." Ghislaine said putting her sword away.
"My word, my life has been saved twice now. I don't know how I'll ever repay you." The red-orange monster girl said.
"Hey, there's no need for that. Anyone would have done the same." Iruma stated.
"Huh, but why would a Demon Lord such as yourself would go through such a thing to help a lowly class monster like me?" The red-orange monster girl asked.
"Well, to be honest I only just recently became a Demon Lord two months ago and I'm still pretty new to this world." Iruma revealed.
"Hey, why don't you come home with us. I'm sure you must be hungry from all that running and want to sleep on a comfortable bed." Iruma offered.
"But are you sure it's okay?" The monster girl asked.
"It's fine, I'm sure Opera wouldn't mind, right?" Iruma asked Ghislaine who is packing up the dead monster goat pieces.
"You're the Demon Lord, whatever decision you make, we will follow to the very end." Ghislaine stated.
"Well, guess then we're having a new member of our little family." Iruma decided offering his hand to the monster girl.
"What do you say?" Iruma asked.
"If being with you will be a way to repay you for saving me, then I am forever at your service." The red-orange monster girl accepted his offer.
"Oh yeah, I never got your name." Iruma realized.
"My name?" The red-orange monster girl puzzled.
"Huh, you're saying you don't have a name?" Iruma asked.
"Most monsters aren't born with names at all, but they can communicate with each other fine." Ghislaine explained.
"Really? Well, that's very sad not having a name then how about I give you one." Iruma suggested.
"What? But… Are you sure it's wise to give me a name?" The monster girl asked.
"Well, I got to call you something. Now let see…" Iruma started of a proper name for the girl seeing her red like color then he got an idea.
"Okay, from now on your name shall be Ameri!" Iruma declared.
"Ameri, my name is Ameri. Yes, I will gladly accept it!" The monster girl now named Ameri smiled and her body glows brightly a little.
"Thank you so much, Lord Iruma! I promise you will not regret this!" Ameri bowed making him chuckle.
"(I don't think we taught him about naming a monster, yet he already did. Well, he'll figure it out soon once we get home.)" Ghislaine thought smiled, feeling proud for her Demon Lord.

Iruma's training has been going well with Opera and Ghislaine teaching him many things about this new world, and now Iruma has gained a new friend who will also be someone important to him in the future. Next chapter is when Iruma and his three servants will leave the mansion to explore and search of a new home and will encounter a little new friend too.
