Unexpected Welcome to New Human Faces

Iruma and Rimuru who is riding on Ranga's back walking through the now wider road of the village that is still being build, but it's also coming along nicely with the extra help of Iruma's group for making houses and Ghislaine doing combat training with the fighting goblins.

"Wow, everything sure looks nice." Iruma amazed.

"It sure is, though to be honest, I didn't think this little village would end up becoming so big with more goblins coming." Rimuru said.

"Why? Were there less goblins here before I came?" Iruma asked.

"Yeah, about 500 less. I had end up naming every one of them to official welcome them into the village, and I went through sleep mode for three days." Rimuru explained.

"Oh, Opera told me about giving monsters their own name would drain the magic power of the giver though he never told me about sleeping for three days." Iruma confused of the last part.

"That's because you only had to name one monster in your group, but I'm also proud that you gained your first monster follow turn girlfriend." Rimuru patted his adopted son's shoulder.

"Oh man, girlfriend!" Iruma blushed of embarrassment.

"I know it's only been a day since I gained two girlfriends and I'm still freaking out on the inside, is this how boys feel when having girlfriends?" Iruma asked.

"Well, it's normal one guy and one girl in a relationship, there's also the gay and lesbian thing, but probably in your case is starting the harem path." Rimuru chuckled with a grin.

"What? A harem? But I never even went on a single date before because of being in constant work." Iruma freaked out with his wings flapping hard almost blowing Rimuru and Ranga away.

"Easy kid, being in a lover relationship is not always easy, especially to newbies like yourself." Rimuru said.

"But I know you will do good with them because of how kind and awesome you are." Rimuru complained.

"You really think so?" Iruma asked with his wings slowing down.

"I know so, just listen to some dating advice I know and do your best then everything should work out just fine." Rimuru said making a slimy thumb up.

"Well, I guess it's okay to listen to someone who never really gone on a date before dying and reborn into this world." Iruma said causing Rimuru to feel heart in the hurt.

"Lord Rimuru, Lord Iruma!" Rigurd called out running to them.

"Hello Rigurd, how has your days been going after becoming the Goblin King?" Iruma asked, he was told by Rimuru and Opera about Rigurd being the ruler of the goblins.

"It has been busy though rewarding for me to help my people. Oh, and Haruna has come bringing you tea." Rigurd gestured to the goblin young woman named Haruna.

"Here, it's a brand Opera taught me to make. I hope it's to your liking," Haruna smiled with a wink causing Iruma to blush a little.

"Thank you very much." Iruma thanked as he took the time.

Rimuru felt the urge to tease the boy for looking at another girl thinking about adding a third one though he'll have to hold that off because he can tell Rigurd got something to tell them, and he can tell that Opera must've taught her to wink as well.

"(Hmm, I can't be sure, but it's almost like becoming the Goblin King has made him evolve a bit more.)" Rimuru thought looked at Rigurd for a second.

"What's up, my goblin guy?" Rimuru asked.

"Sir, we've just received a message from the security team. It says they've spotted suspicious beings in the forest." Rigurd reported.

"Suspicious being? Is it monsters?" Haruna asked worry, leaning onto Iruma who flinch just a bit.

"(You beat me to the punch, girl.)" Rimuru thought commented.

"No, they're humans." Rigurd answered, causing Iruma to spit out his tea.

"Humans?!" Iruma and Rimuru gasped. Humans in the forest at this very moment.

"Yes, it's possible that they're scouts sent here from another nation to expand their dominion." Rigurd believed.

"I don't know, maybe they could be innocent travels and got themselves lost." Iruma guessed.

"That might be the case, but we'll have to go see this for ourselves just to be sure." Rimuru stated, wondering if he could make peace with these humans too.

(Somewhere in the Jura Forest)

Within the forest are indeed six humans, two men and four women, all running for their lives from a bunch of giant angry ants chasing the humans to eat them alive for revenge.

"This whole mess is your fault, Kaval! What kind of idiot goes around stabbing giant ant nests?" One guy with a red bandana complained.

His name is Gido, he a tall man with strong build and a rectangular head. His brown hair is cut short and has a goatee, whereas his cheeks have distinct depressions.

"Shut up and show your leader some respect, damn it!" Kaval shouted back.

Kaval is a young man with medium length hair, seemingly in his prime and carries a sword on his back.

"No, you haven't earned my respect! If I die today, I swear that I'm coming back to haunt you!" One girl with blonde girl promised in anger, and this causes Kaval to laugh.

This girl is named Eren with her hair style in two locks hanging at the front with a blue bandana in a bow style, and little red marks under her eyes. Breasts sizes: C-cup.

"Well, come on, Eren, that's not even possible, and do you wanna know why? Because I'm gonna be dead with you!" Kaval pointed out.

"Damn it, this is not how I wanted my first day of being an adventurer would be like! I mean, sure I would have to run into some monsters along the way, but I didn't think it would be this soon!" One girl freaked out.

"I'm so sorry my leader ruined your big day, Vierra. I swear to burn his butt if we make it out of this!" Eren promised.

"Oh sure, try making it extra crispy." Kaval yelled sarcastically.

"So, how are you liking the continent so far, Sango?" Vierra asked.

Vierra is a beautiful young woman with short brown hair, brown eyes, and large breasts. She wears highly revealing grey bikini armor and has bandages on her forearms, black gloves, a small red gem on the collar, a silver hairclip with three red gems, black shoes, and a brown belt holding her sword. Breasts sizes: G-cup.

"Well, so far, it's been eventful until the so-called leader provoked the giant ants. I say things are good." The other girl known as Sango answered.

Sango is a beautiful fair-skinned young woman with waist-length dark brown hair and brown eyes that are adorned with pink eye shadow. Her hair is tied in a high ponytail with a red hair tie with bangs hanging on either side. She wears a black skin-tight jump suit with red outlines and a kanji symbol written on the left shoulder that has a decided mainland flavor. The outfit further consists of pink armor plates made of yōkai bones, pairs of arm guards that conceal a short retractable blade in the right forearm, shin guards, boots, and a red sash wrapped around the waist to carry a wakizashi (medium-length sword) with a burgundy sheath. Breasts sizes: H-cup.

"But now I wish to do away with these monsters. Oh, looks like one of us is already getting into a fighting stance." Sango said alerting everyone to one more party member stopping to fight the ants.

"Shizu, no!" Eren gasped.

"Let's go!" Kaval called out, thinking there is no point in fighting the giant ants.

Shizu is a young woman of average height and black hair that goes down to the middle of her back and has a white mask covering her entire face. She wears a white clothing with black sleeves and leggings, a purple belt that holds her sword, white gloves and shoes. Breasts sizes: D-cup.

Shizu pulls out her sword and challenge magic fire surrounding the sword as the giant ants came charging at her, then she holds up her hands and sword together firing a large flaming stream at the group of giant ants burning them down.

But one giant ant jumps at Shizu to attack only to be smack away by a giant boomerang weapon that cut off the head from the body, and it returns back to Sango.

"Good thing I never leave home without my Hiraikotsu." Sango smirked.

"Wow, that was so cool!" Eren amazed.

"Do you mind if I join you?" Sango asked Shizu.

"Sure." Shizu nodded before they charge at the reminding giant ants.

Sango blocks a charging attack from one giant ant holding her ground and threw a punch that was strong enough to make is stumble back a few feet, then she threw her Hiraikotsu again destroying it through the middle, and it destroyed another giant ant.

Shizu went under one giant ant performing a burning uppercut slash then goes down to impale her sword onto another giant ant burning it from the inside and jumps away with her back agains the ant as it falls to its death.

"Impressive." Sango complimented.

Then one giant ant is about to attack Sango only to have its right eye impale deeply by a sword that was thrown by Vierra, Sango use this to crush the head with her Hiraikotsu.

"Thank you." Sango thanked the new adventurer.

"Just helping out a friend." Vierra smiled.

"Wow, those two really took care of those ants!" Gido shocked.

"You're telling me, if that's how adventurers go to become strong then I'm gonna need to step it up." Vierra amazed.

"Here, your sword." Sango returned Vierra her sword.

Suddenly there was one giant ant still alive and screeching in rage right behind Shizu.

"Behind you!" Eren warned.

Shizu turns around about to fight this one last ant, but something seems wrong when her body felt great pain and her head is hurting too.

"Something's wrong, she looks to be in pain." Sango noticed that.

"What? But she was fighting strong just a moment ago!" Eren gasped.

Then Vierra felt something odd in the air, like something powerful is about to arrive at this very spot.

"Hey guys, I think something is about to come down." Vierra alerted.

Before anyone could ask this girl what she meant, a sudden burst of black lightning came down destroying the giant ant and saving Shizu, but that blast also blew her mask away.

"Shizu!" Eren hurried to her party member's side as the others surround them for protection.

"Are you okay?" Eren asked Shizu.

"Yes." Shizu answered, appear to be fine right now.

"No way, was that magic?" Gido asked.

"It definitely seems like it since black lightning bolts aren't a natural thing." Sango stated.

"Yeah, I think you're right." Kaval agreed.

"That Black Lightning spell I did looked a little too strong, maybe I wasn't holding back enough." Iruma said.

"Don't worry, none of those humans are hurt, so you did a good job in saving them. Well done." Rimuru congratulated his son.

The party group turn to the attention of the voices they heard towards the dust cloud as it fades away showing a blue hair boy with wings and horns carrying a light blue slime in his arms and Shizu's mask is also on the slime.

"Hi, are you guys okay?" Iruma asked.

"Huh, yeah, we're okay." Vierra answered.

"You should be thankful my son here came at the right time to save you." Rimuru bragged.

"The slime is talking." The party surprised.

"Hey, you're making it sound like you got a problem with slime?" Rimuru complained a bit.

"No, I just never heard one talk before." Kaval said.

"I can safely say all of us never heard of talking slimes before." Vierra stated.

"It's kind of hard to believe." Eren commented.

"Hold it, I'm no so sure if you should be coming closer to us." Sango said with her hand still on the Hiraikotsu.

"I can sense your energy, it feels dark like that of demons and such and yet, I can also sense something else about you that I can't quite make out." Sango glared at Iruma.

"(Oh, she must be sensing my demon magic even though I'm keeping my power low right now.)" Iruma thought amazed of this girl.

"Don't worry, we're not going to hurt you or something. I mean what would be the point of hurting the people I just saved." Iruma pointed out with an innocent smile.

Sango felt this boy is telling the truth that he really doesn't mean them harm and remove her hand from her weapon.

"Anyway, I think my dad has something to return to you guys." Iruma walked up to Shizu.

"Wait, did he just say his dad is the slime?" Kaval asked shock.

"How does that even work?" Gido wondered.

"It's kind of a long story." Rimuru chuckled and held the mask to Shizu.

"Here, I think this belongs to you. Hope you weren't hurt from my boy's lightning skill." Rimuru concerned.

"Nuh-uh, nothing at all." Shizu assured she's fine with her beautiful black eyes shown to the slime man.

Seeing the entire face of the young man, Rimuru suddenly remembers being with a group of cute elves and one of them gave him a fortune reading that he will meet his destined partner, his destiny of love.

"(I met her sooner than I expected. My destiny!)" Rimuru thought excited.

"(Hold on, now that I think about it. The fortune elf did mention about meeting another person as part of my destiny, a demonic blue heart.)" Rimuru thought looked over to Iruma.

"You both saved me, thank you." Shizu thanked.

"You're welcome, why don't you six come back to our village and get some rest. I bet you guys must be pretty tired from all that traveling." Iruma offered the way.

"Really, is that really okay since you guys are monsters? I never even heard of monsters being so nice to humans?" Vierra confused.

"Not all monsters are bad, you were just unlucky to meet the very bad and vicious ones." Rimuru stated.

"Before we go, I believe it's only fair we give each other our names. My name is Sango Sureiya, and these people are the party group I'm currently traveling with for the time being." Sango introduced herself.

"Okay, guess it's my turn. I'm Vierra, and I hope you don't eat me." Vierra greeted nervously.

"I'm Kaval, the leader." Kaval said thumb pointing at himself.

"Gido." Gido revealed his name.

"I'm Eren, and the woman you saved is Shizu. Nice to meet you." Eren waved hello.

"My name is Rimuru Tempest, and the boy holding me is my son." Rimuru introduced himself and Iruma.

"Iruma Tempest, the Demon Lord. Nice to meet you." Iruma smiled.

"Oh, so this guy is a demon lord too." Kaval said casually.

Five seconds later, everyone took in the realization of what Iruma just said about himself and their eyes widen of pure and utter shock.

"YOU'RE A DEMON LORD?!" The party group gasped.

"Iruma, I think you need to be careful how you reveal things about yourself." Rimuru exclaimed.

(Later, Village)

"I see, you brought six humans to the village after they were attack by some giant ants in the forest." Opera said after hearing the explanation from his two lords.

Opera, along with Ameri and Ghislaine as they were worried for their boyfriend, came along to meet these humans.

"Did they say why they are here?" Ameri asked.

"No, we didn't think it would be right to ask them right then and there. Letting them rest up should help calm them down." Iruma explained as they arrive at the tent with Rigurd and Rigur are standing guard.

"Hey Rigurd, so how are our guests?" Rimuru asked.

Before the Goblin King could answer, they suddenly heard some yelling from inside the tent with the voices being the trio of Kaval, Eren, and Gido complaining about the meat they want to eat.

"Oh, I see you feed them some food we have. That was very thoughtful of you." Iruma complimented.

"You think so? They said they were starving, and I was worried if I did the right thing." Rigurd concerned.

"Don't feel bad, Rigurd. Helping people in need is a good thing, I'm proud of you." Rimuru said with a single music note slime on his head.

"You two honor me with your praises. In that case, I will dedicate myself to helping others." Rigurd declared.

"Atta boy!" Rimuru gave him a thumb up.

"After you, my lords." Rigur opened the tent letting them see the six humans eating, with three of them eating fast like they haven't eaten in days.

"(Actually, I feel like I've seen these guys somewhere before.)" Rimuru thought noticed those three adventurers.

Rimuru and Iruma have now met their first human group in a long while since they came into this world, and it looks like Rimuru had a fateful encounter with his destiny woman who may also be connected to Iruma too. The party group is also a little bigger with Sango and Vierra appearing in the story.
