Shizu Achieve her Fiery Freedom
Iruma woke up and exit the tent letting out a big yawn out in the open and stretching out his arms then open his eyes, he looks back into his tent where Ameri and Ghislaine are still sleeping on the bed, each in their own sleeping position.
"(I'm still new to having girlfriends, but it doesn't feel nervous like before now. I wonder if this is how Rin feels for Kakeru in "First Love Memories"?)" Iruma thought asked.
Iruma look back at the sky and trying to think what to do for the day, maybe he could try attending the Goblins with helping to make the field of crops edible for everyone to grow some food since he did work in three or four farms back in the former world, he used to live in.
"Oh, good morning, Lord Iruma!" Rigur called out to the boy.
"Morning, Rigur!" Iruma greeted back to his Hobgoblin.
"Did you have a good sleep?" Iruma asked.
"Yes, wonderfully and I was just about to go out to patrol of the village, and I was also trying to search for Gobta because he's also supposed to be patrolling with me." Rigur said.
"Oh, he asked me about which good tree to climb up and take a nap yesterday though I really didn't know anything about trees much." Iruma explained.
"Seriously? Honestly, that guy…" Rigur sighed and shook his head.
Sometimes, he doesn't know what to do with that young goblin to make him take things seriously as he's supposed to be somewhat important.
"By the way, I also saw Opera coming to the tent right next to the ones the human adventurers are staying at with some tea. I thought you should know." Rigur informed.
"Oh, thank you very much." Iruma thanked and walked over to the tent.
"(I wonder if Opera and Helen have helped Shizu with that big problem.)" Iruma thought asked.
Iruma walked over to the tent where the human adventurers are sleeping then just as Rigur said, Opera is standing outside of the tent with a tray of teacups in their hands and looking over to the young Demon Lord.
"Good morning, Lord Iruma. I take it you are here to see how Shizu is doing?" Opera guessed even though they already knew the answer.
"Yeah, I was hoping to see if everything is alright." Iruma said.
"Not to worry, I believe the result of Helen's fruit if about to come forth." Opera believed despite with their emotionless face.
"Oh yes, everything is alright now." Helen said as she walks out of the tent holding a small sphere with swirling fire inside.
"Helen! Are you okay, is Shizu okay too?" Iruma asked concern.
"Do not worry, I have dealt with the problem that was troubling Shizu for many years until now." Heine held the orb in front of them and look back to see that Shizu is coming out of the tent.
But there was something different about Shizu that Iruma quickly notice upon first looking at her since last night. She looked mostly the same, all except for her hair that was split in half with one side being the same hair color and the other half being pinkish red with the bottom tip being orange and yellow. Her was also her eyes changed from brown to red with orange eyeshadows.
"Wow, is that you, Miss Shizu?" Iruma asked in surprise.
"Yes, it is me though I'm not exactly the same woman on the inside." Shizu nodded.
"Huh, does that mean you have a tummy ache because you ate something bad? But I made sure that the food the Goblins came back were fresh and edible, though there was this one poison mushroom that Gobta ate and went into a coma for two days." Iruma concerned for the woman.
"How did you come to that thought?" Helen asked with a sweatdrop.
"It is not that, it's about the fire spirit we talked about, and Helen here was able to help her." Opera explained.
"Oh yeah, that makes more sense." Iruma said.
"Yes, I even have trapped the mighty Ifrit into this orb and served the connection between them though it was not without a cost that doing so would also have her dying." Heine explained.
"Wait, you mean she's dying right now?!" Iruma gasped.
"Not to worry, I too have handled that situation by changing her very being. Meaning she is no longer a human being." Heine mentioned.
"She's not?" Iruma puzzled. He looks at Shizu seeing that she looks like any other human except for the small different chances in her hair and eyes.
But that's when Iruma sense Shizu's magical energy now feeling that difference the woman mentioned just now.
"Oh, so you're really not human anymore." Iruma surprised.
"That's right, in order for me to continue living. Helen used a powerful magic spell to change me into a new fire spirit as I have been reborn with a new life that I will gladly take than the last one." Shizu smiled calmly and was almost about to cry.
"Iruma, Opera told me that you saw me as a mother in your life." Shizu mentioned.
"Wh-What… They did?" Iruma gasped with his cheeks blushing.
"Iruma?" Shizu said.
"Y-Yes!" Iruma responded nervously.
"Would you like to go out on a walk with me?" Shizu asked as she held out one hand toward the blue hair boy.
"Yes, I'll walk with you." Iruma immediately answered and took her hand, he didn't mind that his inability to say no would be for this request.
Opera watches them walk away together and holding hands together, this gave them the idea that Lord Iruma is definitely going to gain a kind mother of Shizu and in return, Shizu will also gain herself a lovable son despite being a Demon Lord though both are from another world though in different ways.
"Heine, can that sphere hold Ifrit in?" Opera asked.
"Not to worry, my flaming sealing spell can hold even a powerful demon or spirit in this case stronger than myself. He won't be going anywhere, anytime soon." Heine reassured as she bounces the ball in her hand and walks away.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to sleep because that took me all night to change Shizu into a different race all together." Heine yawned and goes to the tent Opera arranged for her and Tae to sleep in.
However, what neither Heine nor Opera realizes that the orb started to have a tiny crack on the side and even smaller sparks of flame came out.
(Top of a Hill)
Shizu and Iruma are standing together on top of a hill being all quiet as none of said a word though Iruma is definitely having the expression that he is screaming on the inside.
"(Oh man, what do I do now? What do I say?)" Iruma thought asked himself.
"So, huh, how has your day been?" Iruma asked, mentally smacked himself in the head because it's only the morning.
"It's going very wonderful!" Shizu answered with a smile.
"(She actually answered!)" Iruma thought gasped.
"Iruma, throughout most of my life, I have been haunted of hurting people because of Ifrit sealed inside of me and his power would get the best of me like before. And I might not be able to find true peace even though I was able to live a good life." Shizu clutched onto her arm.
"But now, thanks to you." Shizu turned to Iruma and held his face.
"I can finally live my own life without having to worry about Ifrit, I can truly live a happy life from now on!" Shizu smiled.
"So, if you want me to become your mother then I'll glad do so to pay back the kindness you have done for me!" Shizu decided, making Iruma surprised from that.
Iruma didn't know what to say at the moment right now though he probably didn't need to when Shizu pulls him into a hug, this made his body feel relax and warm from the embrace that he never got from his own mother back in the old world.
"(Wow, this feels… really nice.)" Iruma thought surprised and his arms slowly moves to return the hug.
First, he got himself a slime for a father, and now a woman who just became a fire spirit as his mother. This turns out to be a crazy and amazing day for him.
"Hope I'm not interrupting." Rimuru said, riding on Ranga.
"Oh, dad!" Iruma gasped, separating the hug.
"Yo, I got word from Opera about Shizu and I'm happy everything works out." Rimuru said.
"Yes, it's all thanks to this little boy right here. One the summed servants, Helen, helped now I don't have to worry about my life anymore." Shizu nodded.
"That's great to hear! And since you're Iruma's mother now, that means you're staying?" Rimuru asked with Ranga swagging his tail.
"I guess that's the case." Shizu giggled and petted Rimuru on the head.
"But even so, I still wish to find the man who summoned me to this world." Shizu looked up at the sky.
"Opera told me about that, are you going to be mad if you see him?" Iruma asked.
"Well, the things I have suffer through was because of him putting the fire spirit inside of me." Shizu admitted.
"However, I moved on from the anger and just want one thing from him." Shizu said.
"And what is that?" Rimuru asked.
"Acknowledgement." Shizu answered, this confuses both monster boys as they wonder what she means by that.
"So, does that mean you and dad are gonna marry each other?" Iruma asked, hearing that's how moms and dads usually work.
That question causes Rimuru to gasp with his slimy body turning bluish shade of pink and Shizu is also a little surprise, though she smiled from this.
"We'll have to see how things play out between us." Shizu giggled.
"Y-Yeah, it's no big deal." Rimuru stuttered with steam coming out.
"Master, you feel warmer than usual, do you need to find a shade?" Ranga asked, feeling the warmth on his back.
"Anyway, we should be getting back. Our human friends will be leaving the village soon." Shizu stated, they have to say goodbye to their new friends.
"Oh yeah, too bad they have to go when they just got here." Iruma said.
"They did come here to investigate the forest, and now that they see how everything is okay, maybe they'll mention this to their boss." Rimuru guessed.
"Does that mean we'll get more visitors from the town of this cave city you mention where you found the dwarf brothers?" Iruma asked.
"Maybe, but I wouldn't jump to being friendly with every human or other races just yet." Rimuru shook himself, confusing Iruma.
"He means that this village is still very new since it's still being built and that humans might not take monsters living like this fondly." Shizu pointed out.
"Really? I thought it would be fine with the human friends we made." Iruma said.
"Those guys are okay, but you gotta remember that not everyone is the same as the others. You'll understand that one day." Rimuru stated.
(Later)
"So, you're really staying?" Eren asked while brushing her hair.
"That's right, as I just explained this to all of you, I'm not going to be living here with Rimuru and Iruma and everyone." Shizu answered.
"I didn't think it would take a woman to give up her humanity to become a monster and the become a mother to a boy she just met. This continent has a very unique way of things." Sango commented.
"I'm pretty sure it's not like that on any land in the world." Vierra said with a sweatdrop.
"Still, it's going to be pretty boring without you." Eren said, feeling a little sad that Shizu is leaving the party for her own reasons and such.
"It's okay, you and your friends can still come here whenever you like to visit me, and we can hang out as much as you like." Shizu promised.
"You know, this village was already starting to grow on me." Vierra commented.
"Indeed, this certainly reminds me of my homeland where some monsters have co-existed with humans and that includes my village." Sango mentioned.
"Really? I'm sure Rimuru will be happy to hear that co-existence is possible!" Shizu smiled.
"You would mind telling Rimuru and Opera to keep an open mind about the demon Baal, I still intend on hunting him down." Sango requested.
"Of course, we'll be sure to listen in on everything about this Baal and will inform you as soon as we hear anything." Shizu promised.
"Well then, guess we'll be spending a lot of time with each other, as a party if you don't mind." Sango said to Vierra.
"Are you kidding? That's going to be great!" Vierra excitedly. Her new life as an adventurer has only gotten better from here now that she is forming a party with Sango.
The girls left the tent to go meet up with the other boys along with Iruma and Rimuru and the two Hobgoblins waiting for them, Vierra looks around to see the village being great even though it's still going through some concertation.
"(I wonder if they're thinking about adding a guild here?)" Vierra thought asked.
"Hey, over here!" Iruma called out and waved to the girls.
"Sorry to keep you all waiting." Eren said.
"We've been standing out here forever." Gido complained.
"Yeah, and why do women take so long to get ready anyway?" Kaval asked.
"I guess that sort of problem can happen in any world." Iruma whispered to Rimuru who gave him a nod.
"Hold on, we wish to bid our new human friends goodbye as well!" Ameri called out as she, Ghislaine, Heine, and Tae are running up to them.
But then Tae looks at the flaming sphere has a crack that Heine hasn't noticed yet and her eyes widen with shock because the crack just gotten bigger on one side, and that's when her instincts kick to take the orb away.
"Tae! What the fuck are you doing?" Heine demanded.
Tae just threw the orb high into the sky as she could throw, and in the next two seconds the orb has even more cracks and exploded into a flaming pillar that everybody saw.
"What's going on?" Kaval asked.
"I feel a powerful presence coming, could that be Ifrit?" Opera asked shock.
"But I thought Heine had him sealed away in that orb?" Iruma confused.
"I did!" Heine yelled as she and the other monster girls met up with the group.
"But it looks like I underestimate Ifrit's power, I'm not sure how he was able to break free when I made the seal to trap those stronger than me." Heine said.
"Hmm, it may just be my imagination, but it feels like Ifrit has suddenly become a lot stronger just now." Opera noticed through the feeling of the magic power.
"He's right, Ifrit was inside of me for a long time, and he has never been this powerful before." Shizu agreed.
"Hold on, did you just say that Ifrit was inside of you?" Kaval shocked to hear.
"Then… does that mean you're THE Shizue Izawa?" Kaval asked, this got Eren and Gido shocked upon hearing this while everyone else is confused of this revelation.
"I didn't think you would find me out like this." Shizu said.
"No way! So, you are the Conqueror of Flames! The hero of the guild from 50 years ago!" Gido screamed a bit.
"WHAT?! Mom is 50 years old! Would that even be allow with marrying dad?!" Iruma asked shock.
"Iruma, I think we have more important things to worry about!" Rimuru yelled.
"Oh yeah, I heard about the hero known as the Conqueror of Flames from the stories my parents used to tell me." Vierra recalled those stories from the past.
"Guess this is one of those moments when one gets to meet their heroes, but I'm surprised to see that her in person and still looking so young too! It's like you were hit by an eternal youth spell!" Vierra commented.
"Save those words for later! Ifrit is about to come!" Sango informed.
The giant flaming pillar disappeared showing the very great fire spirit floating in the air, the fire spirit that has been inside Shizu for many years until now.
This is Ifrit and is ready to burn everything to ashes.
