Dealing with Very Dangerous Fire Spirit
Ifrit roars in a primal rage unleashing a powerful shockwave that nearly blew everyone away except for the stronger ones like Iruma, Rimuru, Shizu, and a few others and then three fire pillars burst from the ground forming into black lizard-like creatures with wings.
"Is everyone alright?" Iruma asked.
"We're fine, but we got bigger things to worry about!" Ghislaine pointed at the fire creatures flying around and letting the orange glow dust that rains down from their bodies and causes the tents to go on fire.
"Hey! What gives, damn it! We just built this town!" Rimuru angered.
"Are you okay?" Shizu asked her former Party group.
"Yeah, we're fine… I think." Kaval answered, groaning in a little pain from the shockwave.
"Oh shit, so that's what a powerful fire spirit is like up close. No wonder my parents always told me to be careful with fire." Vierra said while brushing some dirt off her butt.
"Good to know, now you all need to get out of here right now. Once Ifrit starts going on a rampage, nothing is going to stop him unless he's put down." Shizu advised the Party to leave.
"Yeah, what she said. You guys need to get out of here." Rimuru agreed.
While most would take up on that when things are looking too dangerous and crazy for any weak Adventurers to stick around, but this Party have other ideas.
"We're not going anywhere." Kaval said, surprising Shizu and the others.
"I may not know what is going on exactly, but just so you know that we still see you as our friend even though you're not human anymore." Kaval drew out his sword.
"We may not look like it, but we don't take kindly to anyone who bullies our friends." Gido readied himself with his dagger.
"Which is why we're going to fight this mean spirit with you, no matter what!" Eren determined as she held her staff at the front.
"Better not forget about us, we also wanna protect our friends too." Vierra smirked.
"As a Demon Slayer, I shall slay an evil fire spirit who dares to bring harm to this peaceful land." Sango said as she brings out her big boomerang weapon.
Shizu is surprised by how these five humans are being so brave despite how silly and a little cowardly they can be most of the time, but it feels a little different now with them really wanting to fight by her side and stop Ifrit together.
"It would seem you all have surprise me, mostly you three since you're like a comedy Adventurer Party." Shizu complimented with a smile.
"Sheesh, tell us how you really feel." Gido chuckled.
"Well then, guess we're all going to be fighting this spirit together." Shizu said as she turns around to face Ifrit again.
"We're with you too, mom." Iruma said.
"Yeah, we'll show that hotheaded idiot who he is messing with." Rimuru nodded and bounces.
"We can help too." Ameri offered as Ghislaine, Heine and Tae ready themselves for battle.
"I will help keep the citizen goblins away from the danger." Opera volunteered to handle crowd control.
"Okay then, let's go and sniff out this bastard's fire and make him simmer down!" Rimuru declared ready for battle.
"Dad, now it's not the time for jokes." Iruma said.
"Huh? But I was trying to sound cool." Rimuru stated.
Everyone looks towards Ifrit and his flying lizardmen creatures as they have been waiting for those fools to stop their final exchanging of words, he wants to get to the burning and destruction.
(Music: Inside the Fire, Disturbed)
"Ifrit, know that today your fire will be blown away by our might!" Shizu stated.
"(Oh, that sounded a bit better than my line.)" Rimuru thought commented.
Ifrit responded by throwing a fireball at them making everyone jump out of the way as the attack explodes a little from the impact.
"Water Blade!" Rimuru fired a sharp water attack at Ifrit hoping that it would hurt him a little.
But the Water Blade attack ended up dissolve and evaporate into mist when it only reach about half a foot close to Ifrit.
"Yeah, I sort of expected that." Rimuru said.
"Then why did you do it?" Iruma asked.
Ifrit roars again to summon nine more fire lizard monsters by his side increasing the number up to twelve, and he gestures his hand toward his enemies commanded the fire lizard monsters to go attack them as they screech and charges in.
"Do not think you can defeat us!" Ameri sprinted into the air heading towards one of the fire lizard monsters.
"(Time to test one of the two skills I got when Lord Iruma gave me my name.)" Ameri thought reeled her right leg back as it glows fiercely of red and black aura.
"Crimson Fang Kick!" Ameri threw the kick right onto the flying fire lizard monster that crushed the chest and send it flying away.
Ghislaine runs around fast dodging some fire blast from one of the fire monsters until she jumps at one of them, she stops running for a moment to unleash her attack.
"Bloody Slicer! Ghislaine sliced at the air and a red cross slash attack came flying at the monster slicing it in four.
"Oh wow, those two are really strong?" Vierra amazed.
"They are, but you should be focusing on fighting the battle than just watching it." Sango advised before she jumps a little high.
"Hiraikotsu!" Sango threw her giant boomerang weapon as it glows faintly pink and cuts right through one fire winged lizard monster.
"Oh wow, that is so cool!" Vierra amazed and quickly dodges one fire attack that almost burns her boots.
"Vierra, quickly! Stay close to us!" Eren called out as she is ready to cast an attack spell.
Three flying fire lizards threw a big fire breath attack each aiming right at Iruma and his new family, but Iruma quickly step forward a few feet and held out one hand.
"Ba-Refle!" Iruma conjured a blue barrier in front of himself and twice his size, the barrier not only protected him from the fire attacks but also reflected them right back at the lizard monsters letting them get hit by their own attack.
"Nice one." Rimuru impressed.
"Thanks, Opera taught me that." Iruma explained. He's really glad that it worked otherwise he would've been burned to a crisp, but he would've also dodge it thanks to his unique dodging ability.
"Icicle Lance!" Eren casted the ice attack spell that hurt one of the fire lizard monsters.
"Are you guys going to be, okay?" Shizu asked worry.
"Don't worry, we can handle the minion monsters with the others. You guys just focus on fighting Ifrit and put a stop to him." Eren said then fire some more Icicle Lance attacks.
"Putting our lives on the line and saving others is just part of being Adventurers." Eren pointed out what being Adventurers stand out for.
"What did I tell you about stealing my lines? The leader is supposed to say that." Kaval smiled, thinking Eren did okay saying that line.
"Well, whatever. Let's show these lizards who's boss." Kaval readied himself for a fiery fight.
"If nothing else, we'll at least take out several of them." Gido grinned.
"I believe we can take out all of them with our new friends' help." Sango believed.
"There won't be any of these disgusting beasts left when we're through." Heine grinned.
Tae jumps toward on fire lizard monster causing both to spin for a second until how the zombie girl is right on its back, she grabs onto both wings and started pulling them hard causing the fire lizard monster to fall then crash landed with Tae ripping both wings off with a scream. The fire lizard monster screams in pain from the loss of its wings until it was shut up by Tae ripping its head off with her mouth.
"I see you're still wild with your approach as ever, Tae." Heine commented with a sweat drop.
Two fire lizard monsters try to attack Heine only for her to wave her hand up causing two sharp pillars of fire to pop up and pierced through both fire lizard monsters, then snaps her fingers causing the two spiked pillars to explode which kill the monsters.
"As if I would ever allow myself to be touch by your disgusting claws." Heine grinned scary.
"Come on, we need to take care of Ifrit as soon as possible." Shizu said to her family.
"You got it. Ranga!" Rimuru called out to his Tempest Wolf, and he came out of his shadow.
"Let see if I can get his attention." Shizu said with one hand out and concrete on creating fire since she is a fire spirit, after all.
Shizu fire the fire attack that looks like a bullet only a little bigger than flying toward Ifrit which seem to have gotten his attention, he threw another fireball to knock that puny fire attack away only for the two fire attacks to collide in a power struggle for a moment until they both dissipate from the literal heated clash.
This surprise Ifrit that he looks over to Shizu and his anger slowly raises clutching his fists with some growling sounds.
"I think that got his attention. Let's go!" Shizu said as she and Iruma hop onto Ranga's back with Rimuru sitting in front of them.
Ranga started running fast with Ifrit giving the chase as he doesn't want to let that human girl go, the same one who has been trying to hold him back for all these years refusing to let him out, and now he finally has the change to get some revenge for trying to hold him back.
"Hope you don't mind getting a little wet!" Iruma aimed his hand at Ifrit.
"Raining Needle!" Iruma unleashed a watery orb at Ifrit and then it pops unleashing a large barrage of needle-size water drops that are very enough to pierce through an iron shield.
However, none of the needles could hit Ifrit because of his intense fiery power evaporating every single water attack coming at them as they turn into little steam.
"It was nice try, Iruma, but it's gonna take a little more than that to even touch him." Shizu said.
"If only my Water Blade could hit him, that would be able to damage that spirit." Rimuru said.
"Even if you would with all the water in your body, it wouldn't be such a good idea to do that since it's not a magic skill." Shizu pointed out.
"Really? Would that still hurt at least those Salamanders?" Rimuru asked.
"Answer: It is possible, hitting the Salamanders would cause an explosion that would destroy them, but the explosion would end up destroying the surrounding area." Great Sage explained.
"Okay, maybe I should hold off on destroying the Salamanders with water." Rimuru worried like scared.
"Is something the matter, dad?" Iruma asked.
"Just my Great Sage telling me that using all the water in my body against those Salamanders is a pretty bad idea." Rimuru said.
"Sango, throw me up!" Vierra called out, running towards her friend.
"Very well." Sango caught her Hiraikotsu after killing another Salamander and holds her hands together in front of her.
Vierra steps onto those hands and Sango throws her up about 25 feet in the air and she is going at one of the Salamanders.
"Element Unleash: Ice!" Vierra channeled her magic into her sword turning the blade into a sharp ice weapon.
The Salamander screeches as it charges at Vierra to bite and burn her body in half, but the new Adventurer girl was able to stab the ice sword right into the forehead between the eyes causing some ice spikes to pop out and killing the Salamander.
"Wow, that was pretty cool." Rimuru commented.
"There's only one left." Iruma pointed out.
One Salamander flew to Kaval and those other two humans as they are behind his barrier skill, but Heine can already see what that monster is trying to do.
"Oh no, you don't!" Heine unleashed another of her fire skills called Burning Tentacle that brings out tentacles made of fire and launches right at the Salamander grabbing hold of it and moving the monster away from the Adventurers.
The fiery tentacles even wrap around the Salamander so much to tray it inside even when the fire lizard monster exploded from within.
"Okay, that takes care of that." Heine grinned.
"Look out!" Ameri called out worry.
Ifrit attacks Heine with a fast and powerful fire attack at her while she was distracted dealing with that one Salamander that was about to explode, she got hit leaving a faint burn make on her right arm though she still groans in extreme pain.
"Even though I can resist fire attacks as I'm a fire demon, Ifrit's power is more to deal some harm to me." Heine panted a little.
"We need to deal with Ifrit now!" Shizu refused to let any more of her friends get hurt because of Ifrit.
Shizu jumps off from Ranga and goes at Ifrit with fire bursting strong from her hand as the Great Fire Spirit himself is also preparing his own fiery attack, the two clashed causing a fiery explosion and the two were pushed away from each other from that clash though Shizu wouldn't give up.
"Flame Bullet Gatling!" Shizu unleashed a barrage of Ifrit who counters with his own barrage of fireball attacks which are named Meteor Inferno.
"Now, mom is really going all out against that guy." Iruma surprised.
"Consider what she had to go through because of having Ifrit inside of her for half a century, I can understand the urge to put that fire guy out for good." Rimuru pointed out.
But then Rimuru gets an idea that just might work.
"Hey Iruma, did you happen to learn an ice attack?" Rimuru asked.
"I don't think so, I only learned the fire spell and the Black Lightning move from you." Iruma answered.
"Well, guess we could go for another source." Rimuru said as he turns around to see Eren.
"Hey! Eren! Would you mind shooting your ice attack at me?" Rimuru requested.
"What? No way, I'm not going to attack someone who's my friend!" Eren refused, not wanting to hurt Rimuru.
"Don't worry, my dad has a plan!" Iruma assured that everything is going to be alright before another explosion erupted from one fire attack between Shizu and Ifrit.
"You do have a plan, right?" Iruma asked his slime dad.
"Yep, I just hope it works." Rimuru said.
"Okay, but don't blame me if you get hurt!" Eren said and fires another Icicle Lance at Rimuru.
Rimuru jumps off from Ranga and catches the ice attack into his slimy body and slurps it down to be consumed as he hopes this will help him create a new attack.
"Impossible! He slurped down my ice attack just like that?" Eren shocked.
"It would seem Rimuru is more than just a normal slime." Sango commented.
"Notice: Analysis of Icicle Lance has been completed." Great Sage informed.
"Alright, now let's go help your mom!" Rimuru excitedly looking forward to trying this out against Ifrit.
"Iruma, I hope you don't mind carrying me to the fight." Rimuru said.
"You got it!" Iruma grabbed hold of his dad and flew off from Ranga and headed straight for the flaming battle.
"Ranga, you go with the others and leave for e safer distance! We'll be okay!" Rimuru ordered.
"As you wish." Ranga nodded and ran off to the others.
Shizu is seen panting a little hard from having to battle so much against Ifrit who is also a little tired but has no physical damage on his body except for having a few tiny bruises on his body.
Ifrit then multiple himself into over a dozen surround Shizu completely, but then Iruma and Rimuru comes to the rescue as Rimuru unleashes a new attack he just gains from consuming that ice attack.
"Icicle Shotgun!" Rimuru spun around firing lots of ice projectiles that destroy the clones and one even manage to hit Ifrit in the shoulder doing some more damage.

"Lord Iruma, I can't believe I've completely forgotten!" Opera called out while running towards Iruma.
"Opera?" Iruma gasped.
But then Ifrit unleashes his Flare Circle skill to engulf all three into his fire, but Opera threw something at Iruma before the fire attack erupts.
"Hopefully that'll help even things out." Opera said.

Iruma and his family are fighting against Ifrit though it looks like he may have got them good with that attack, and what was that thing Opera threw to Iruma thinking that might help? Well, you'll have to wait and see in the next chapter to find out.
