Putting Out the Destructive Fire Spirit
Iruma saw that Opera just threw something at him and quickly caught the item in his hand then pulls that hand back as the attack fire erupted up consuming him along with his adopted parents.
"GUYS?!" Rimuru gasped and expanded his body takin both Shizu and Iruma into a protect sphere literally made from his own body, but that would also mean he gets the full force of the fire attack.
"Rimuru!" Shizu worried.
"Dad! Are you okay?" Iruma asked.
"I don't think so! I can't believe I'm going to go out like an overcooked pot pudding! I just had to get fancy with the ice moves when I shoulda just demolished this dude with my Black Lightning!" Rimuru panicked that he is going to be boiled alive.
"Stay calm, dad! We'll figure out a way to save you from this heat!" Iruma refused to let his adopted slime dad go out like this.
"Iruma, be careful! Don't get yourself burn!" Shizu warned her adopted son, but then notice something odd is going on as she keeps looking at the fire.
"Well, it was a good life. A short life, but at least this life is something I'll never regret living in when I had an awesome son and an awesome woman as my soulmate. At least you guys will be safe." Rimuru exclaimed, sobbing that his life is about to come to an end, again.
"No, don't say that! This can't end like this!" Iruma refused.
"I finally got a family… A real family…" Iruma clutched his hands tightly.
"Wait, I don't think Rimuru is actually burning!" Shizu figured out.
"Huh?" Iruma shocked as he heard that.
"Weird, now that you mentioned it, I actually don't feel like I'm taking much damage. Why is this taking so long? It Ifrit some kinda tease?" Rimuru finally noticed that he is not actually hurt by the fire nor is it doing anything to him.
"No, I've known Ifrit for a long time, and he has never shown a sign of hesitation, especially when it comes to using his fire at full power." Shizu stated.
"Really? Hey Great Sage, how come I'm not being boiled alive?" Rimuru asked.
"Answer: Due to Thermal Fluctuation Resistance, fire attacks are being automatically nullified and do not affect you." Great Sage explained.
"Ah." Rimuru was relieved to hear that.
"Mmm-hmm." Great Sage hummed.
"Why do you sound exasperated?!" Rimuru yelled.
"Dad, what's going on?" Iruma asked.
"Good news, Great Sage just told me that I have a pretty cool fire resistance skill that I'm immue to Ifrit's fire! It's fucking awesome!" Rimuru answered with amazement.
"Rimuru, you should know better than to use curse words in front of our child, but since we're dealing with Ifrit right now, I'll let it slide. But we are going to have words about this later." Shizu scolded.
"Right, sorry." Rimuru apologized.
"By the way, Iruma. What was the item Opera threw you, it must be something important they went through the trouble of giving it to you." Shizu asked.
"Oh, I almost forgot!" Iruma realized.
Iruma looks down at his hand to see that he has been holding a golden ring with an eye symbol.
"A ring?" Iruma was puzzled by this item.
"Weird, why would Opera give you a ring?" Shizu wondered.
"Maybe it's to purpose to his two girlfriends." Rimuru teased.
"But it's only one ring." Iruma pointed out.
"Maybe you should try putting it on. This ring could be a magic item that'll help you fight against Ifrit and his fire." Shizu hoped that's the case.
"But I never worn a ring before. What if it doesn't go well with my outfit?" Iruma asked.
"Are you really about fashion clash at a time like this? Just put the ring on!" Rimuru yelled.
"Okay." Iruma put the ring on.
The moment the ring is placed onto his finger, it started to glow golden with a hint of black inside the aura for a few seconds and then stops only for a strange black creature to come out.
"Huh, did I just summon a genie?!" Iruma asked.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's not a genie." Rimuru stated with a sweat drop.
The black creature looks around feeling confused and curious at the same time until it stops gazing upon Shizu.
"Oh, hello." Shizu greeted in a friendly manner, hoping this mysterious creature isn't dangerous.
But then the strange black creature started to let out a loud and painful screeching roar that can be heard from the wide area of the village including to where the goblins and adventures have gone to a safe distance, this noise is hurting everyone's ears. All except for Ifrit though this noise does seem to annoy him.
"Iruma! Why is your pet screaming like that?" Rimuru asked.
"Wait, is that scream hurting you?" Iruma asked, noticing how Rimuru's slimy body is shaking.
"How is the noise not bothering you?" Rimuru asked shock.
"I believe it may have something to do with Iruma being the wearer of the ring." Shizu guessed.
"That's great and all, but how the fuck do we get it to stop screaming?" Rimuru asked, not really enjoying this screaming time.
"Okay, huh? How about this?" Iruma tried to rock the black creature to calm down, but it was still screaming.
"It's not working!" Rimuru yelled.
"Maybe its scared about being in a new place and needs some comfort." Shizu exclaimed.
Shizu moves closer to the black creature maybe to pet it on the head hoping to relax it a little, but the black creature saw her coming and latches onto Shizu's head for a second before she quickly moves back.
"Mom! Are you okay?" Iruma asked shock.
"I'm fine, but I think that… thing seem to have sucked some magic energy from me." Shizu felt her body a little tired.
"You mean it can drain magic?" Rimuru gasped, fearing that black creature could try draining his power.
"Oh boy, let's hope it doesn't mind hot food!" Iruma commented as he looks at the fire.
"Hot? Hot!" Shizu just thought of an idea that might work.
"Iruma, we need to feed this creature fire!" Shizu said, this confuses both Rimuru and Iruma while the black creature is just shaking impatiently.
Ifrit truly believes that his powerful fire has killed the three creatures including the girl he was sealed inside for many decades, and now he can go about doing his own thing as he turns around to leave this forest and go about burning everything in sight.
However, he stops upon hearing a strange sound coming from behind him and the best he could make out is slurping like some creature is drinking a large amount of water, but it's strange because there isn't any water in the area since everything here is fire and land.
Feeling curious, Ifrit turns around and his eyes widen with shock to see his fire is being devoured by some strange black creature is sucking all of his fire into its mouth becoming bloated like a big balloon for a moment and then it shrunk back into the ring.
What's more shocking is that woman and the other two are still okay even after all of that.
"I can't believe that worked!" Iruma was shocked.
"That little guy really ate all that fire, and from the looks of it, felt satisfied too." Rimuru commented.
"It looks like Opera gave you quite a magic item." Shizu smiled.
But her smile soon turns into an expression of rage when she faces Ifrit who is looking both shocked and angry, mostly on the angry part, that she is still alive somehow.
"I'm sorry, were you expecting us to be overcooked?" Shizu asked sarcastically with a glare.
"Turns out my husband here is immune to your fire and my son here has a special magic item that brought out a creature that can consume magic like your fire, meaning you have underestimated my family!" Shizu said with determination.
Iruma felt his heart beating a little stronger than before when Shizu just declared him and Rimuru her family while the slime monster himself blushes as he is happy to hear that from his soulmate.
"Now, you are going to face the wrath of sorrow and pain that I've been enduring for fifty years!" Shizu glared at Ifrit.
Ifrit roars in rage and was about to unleash a powerful fire attack only for Shizu to respond with her own strong fire attack of her own that clashes against Ifrit's causing a power struggle for a moment until the two fire attacks ended up burning each other out.
Rimuru spits out some of his strong webs to wrap around Ifrit nice and tight, the fire spirit tries to burn the webbing away but discovers that these webs will not go out.
"Sorry, but I made these webs fireproof, so you won't be able to escape that easily.
"Let see if you like this!" Iruma held up one hand towards Ifrit.
"Glacier Coconuts!" Iruma conjured a barrage of ice balls that looks like coconuts, most hitting the fire Ifrit that hurts him.
"Coconuts?" Rimuru confused.
"For some reason, coconuts just came into my head, and I want to hit Ifrit with coconuts." Iruma was confused about this himself.
"Great, now I feel like I'm in the mood for some coconuts." Rimuru sighed.
"Rimuru, I think it's time we put Ifrit away for good though I'm not sure if Heine can imprison him again." Shizu said.
"I think I may have an idea." Rimuru said.
"Would you like to use the Unique Skill, Predator?" Great Sage asked.
"(Just what I was thinking. Yes!)" Rimuru thought nodded.
Rimuru expands his body go consume Ifrit whole without a second thought taking in the shape of the fire spirit for a little while and then Rimuru starts shrinking down back to his normal size.
"Oh wow, I wish I could eat food like that!" Iruma was amazed.
"I think you're better off just eating like normal humans and such." Rimuru said.
"So, he's really inside of you?" Shizu asked.
"Yup, and my best friend Veldora is also in there to keep him company." Rimuru nodded.
(Inside Rimuru)
Ifrit now finds himself in what appears to be a black void that is completely nothing as he is confused looking around, he even tries using his fire to see if he can burn his way through this emptiness, but it keeps going and going with no stop.
"You might as well give up, Ifrit." A powerful deep voice said.
Ifrit gasp upon hearing that voice, a familiar voice he had not heard in many years. He slowly moves up his head in shock to see one powerful being in front of him.
"It is impossible to break out of this place." The being said as he slowly reveals himself more.
Ifrit gasps some more and even started to feel scared little by little the more this being shows himself right in front of the mighty fire spirit's eyes.
"You are no match for Rimuru. He is my sworn friend." The powerful being said.
"I am the Storm Dragon, Veldora Tempest. And it would be my pleasure to face you." Veldora introduced himself and then get into a loud laughter that Rimuru brought him a new plaything to enjoy.
Veldora's gigantic dragon body is covered in black steel like scales, with his wings and underside taking on a bluish color. His eyes are deep golden, and the back of his head is covered with four horns extending backwards.
"I'm also happy for Rimuru to have gotten himself a family to cherish. I'm looking forward to meeting them soon once he breaks me free from this seal." Veldora looked up at the black sky, feeling a little excited to meet them.
(With Iruma and Others)
"Here you go. Now be careful with them, they're quite heavy." Iruma used the floating spell to give three goblins some wood for them to carry around.
"Thank you, Lord Iruma." The goblins said before marching on.
"I see, well then, we are going to have to make some adjustments with making the tents at least fireproof and lightning-proof. Perhaps we can use enchantments." Opera suggested with the dwarves with some construction planning.
"Okay, so this is how you do some sewing?" Vierra asked while she and Eren are helping out with the sewing.
"Yep, now be careful with the needle since it's really sharp that you could hurt yourself." Eren warned.
Kaval and Gido are helping out with some physical labor with Sango helping out as well, but they are surprised that a young woman like her can carry so much weight with one hand.
Ameri and Ghislaine are doing their part with some heavy lifting of things and doing some rearranging on certain spots of the village. Ameri helps some with chopping up wood with her strong legs while Ghislaine is working with some goblins to place some wooden poles in place for the tents and such.
"(It looks like everyone is really working hard in rebuilding the village even though they were almost burned by Ifrit.)" Iruma thought smiled.
"Mom and dad are resting up in their own tents, they deserve it after all of that." Iruma said, looking over to see the tent his adopted parents are inside right now.
We now cut to the scene where Shizu is sitting peacefully on a bed with Rimuru right on her lap feeling her hand on his head.
"Thank you very much for everything with Ifrit, Rimuru." Shizu thanked.
"Ah, it was nothing. Besides, it was Iruma who got one of his summonses to help you the most. That kid is amazing." Rimuru complimented.
"Yes, he truly is." Shizu nodded.
"As I grew older, it became very difficult to keep Ifrit at bay. One wrong step, and I could release him by mistake. When I thought about that, I didn't want to hurt someone, not again. Like I had done with Pirino." Shizu sobbed, thinking back on her one and only friend she made back then.
"Don't worry, you won't ever have to worry about that again." Rimuru promised.
"Yes, it is a nice feeling. But I hope my students will still be able to recognize me." Shizu concerned about her new looks.
"Students?" Rimuru asked.
"Yes. You see, after being an adventurer for a long time with trying to keep Ifrit at bay, I retired and decided to become an instructor." Shizu mentioned.
"Sounds like fun." Rimuru commented, definitely seeing Shizu as a teacher figure.
"I was a teacher at a school." Shizu said.
"Whoa! There are schools here?" Rimuru was surprised to hear that this world has schools.
"Yes, in the Kingdom of Ingrassia. I taught kids from other worlds." Shizu revealed the part about kids being from other worlds like her, Rimuru, and Iruma.
"Kids, huh? That's interesting. I guess that means Otherworlders are more common than I thought." Rimuru commented.
"It was actually one of them who told me about the video game line you said. Do you remember what it was?" Shizu smiled, then they said the line together.
"Nice to meet you, I'm not a bad slime, slurp." The couple giggled together.
"It was a lot of fun." Shizu smiled, thinking back on her students.
(Flashback)
Five kids run up to Shizu in the classroom, all smiling to see their favorite teacher today.
"Hey teach, what are we doing today?" One kid asked.
"I don't know. What do you all think we should do?" Shizu asked smiling.
"Those were peaceful times." Shizu said.
The scene changes to that of a young woman with a soft but serious look on her face and walks away with her back facing Shizu's point of view.
"Some of my students left to pursue their own adventures." Shizu said.
(Flashback End)
"In fact, one of them is now a Grandmaster." Shizu recalled hearing that news.
"Grandmaster?" Rimuru is not familiar with that title.
"The person responsible for overseeing all the guilds in every country." Shizu explained.
"Whoa, kinda sounds like a big deal." Rimuru commented.
"Yes, it certainly is. So naturally, I felt like there was nothing left I could teach anyone. But that was when I felt my life ending near, it became more difficult to surpass Ifrit's will." Shizu explained.
"And you know what, maybe I could help save those kids too." Shizu believed.
"Save the kids? What do you mean by that?" Rimuru asked.

Ifrit has been defeated and has been imprison inside Rimuru to never cause Shizu pain ever again, and now Rimuru and Shizu are having their own privacy to learn more about her past and that she was a teacher at a school while the village is being rebuild during this time.
I also decided to add two other girls in the harem: Shera L. Greenwood (How to NOT Summon a Demon Lord) and Hanabata Nohkins (Immoral Guild).
