I want to add a couple things real quick that I didn't in the last blog because I learned this info too late. So, don't worry, this blog isn't just about Trump and his 2nd assasination attempt. If you aren't here for that, you can just skip the first three paragraphs, including this one.

Ryan Westley Routh apparently wrote a disturbing letter. The letter stated that this was an assination attempt, that he failed, and lists an award for whomever will kill the former president. He wrote it for the next person if he failed. Scary!

Ryan also pleaded not guilty in a federal court in West Palm Beach, Florida. He has another trial in November. Okay, now for the main thing that I really wanted to say in this blog.

It's that time of year again. AGT ended season nineteen. And so it's my yearly recap of it. The AGT recap that I blogged about earlier this year doesn't count because A, it was supposed to be last year's and B, it was also a recap for the spinoff, AGT: Fantasy League. So, it's not really the same. And the results of the finals aired a week after the finals this year for some reason. So, voters and the audience had to wait another week before the results instead of one night like previous years.

All the judges and Terry were in this season yet again. And for the finale, Sofia had her cute, little puppy with: Amore, a black and white Chihuahua. And of course, Simon loves the new pup too and Sofia allowed him to hold it for a bit. But enough about Sofia's pup. Let's talk about some contestants. Again, if I talk about every single one, this'll be a SUPER long blog. I'm not doing that. Just google AGT season 19 for more info.

There was Richard Goodall, a singer and a middle school janitor. Roni Sagi and her dog, Rhythm, the dog act. Sky Elements was a team that makes drones perform stories in the sky and makes images in the sky. There was AIRFOOT WORKS, Brent Street, Hakuna Matata Acrobats, Learnmore Jonasi, Hypers Kids Africa and so many more. One of the acts, Sebastian and Sonia had an accident, and Sebastian had to perform alone at one point.

This was the first season that allowed the judges to push their Golden Buzzers twice. It all started after Simon buzzed Howie's Golden Buzzer (Howie buzzed it too and he buzzed it just a moment or two before Simon). The judges were also allowed a Golden Buzzer in the live shows. Oh, and AGT had a two week break because of the Paris Olympics. Simone Biles even co-hosted a bit and did a bit in the finale!

Richard won! Roni and her dog were second (we were so close with another dog act winner). Sky Element placed third. So, congrats to Richard and to all of the finalists, but especially Richard. You were a great singer, so you deserved it! Everybody at your school will be so proud!

I'm happy that I remembered to do this recap blog a week after the final show of the season instead of months after like earlier this year. That was a bit embarrassing! And hopefully I won't do it again in the future. Well, until next summer for season 20!
