"Toph, no" Sokka said immediately as Toph flipped him, turning to Suki and Zuko angered, whom were as shocked as them.

"I had no information prior to this, I'm sorry" Suki apologized as Electra waved her off

"It's tradition, although, didn't you said you planned this with us in mind?" Electra asked peeping the lie as Sokka's eye squinched by all the smoke

"I did, but with booze, these other drugs were not my plan" Suki said wanting to stop Toph but feeling slapped at the whole party, this was out of their control.

Electra smiled and grabbed the big cigarette passing it towards Zuko who was reluctantly taking it. Mai took it and positioned it in his mouth, a spark of jealousy in Suki's brain that had been fogged by all the smoke.

"You need to open the table, firelord" Mai whispered to him, staring him as an order. Zuko's soft spot was showing as he grabbed the cigarette and took a puff.

Opioids, he recognized it. Ty Lee finished churning the jenamite and helped Toph do a line, as Suki and Sokka stared shocked. The future firelady grabbed the cactus juice and chugged it, feeling too sober to witness Toph do lines.

Sokka felt it too but wasn't fond of anything else, Mai noticed it and grabbed another cigarette passing it to Electra, she immediately took a smoke, poofing it out in circles. She offered hers to Sokka who denied it.

"Is cactus juice more fitting than vodka or is the brew too low?" Suki asked passing him a drink. Sokka looked at it nervous. Suki put a hand on his knee to reassure him "You can say no, there is no compromise, we are friends"

Sokka smiled at the trust she was building with her, so he took the glass and drowned it. Electra continued smoking her own as Toph waited for the jenamite to take effect.

"Is this supposed to do something at all?" Toph asked as Suki giggled

"It takes some time, the minute you never expect for something to happen, happens" Suki replied, staring at her with pity.

Toph shrugged, relaxing a bit when her shoulders touched the back of the couch. "What do I do?"

"Talk" Electra replied "about whatever you want"

"You are familiar with this tradition?" Zuko asked smoking quicker, as Electra nodded "Is there something similar in the north?"

"There is always something similar in this circles" Electra clarified, smoking more "So I get the gist of it. I just didn't know in the fire nation were…so open to try"

Suki was hitting the cactus juice and couldn't help to stare at Mai and Zuko who were a bit too close for her liking. She poured another cup and offered it to Sokka, who smiled and got more, his eyes already wide and darker.

"I am glad you are all more open minded" Toph chimmed "It's more fun the partys here"

"That's why we are doing this, as a bonding experience" Ty Lee said smiling, grabbing a cup of vodka.

Sokka got curious about the other stuff in the table

Jenamite, snow, Rhino, love ducks

He was aware that drugs could help or dumb down a person, he experienced it first hand, but curiosity and the cactus juice were killing him. They wouldn't put any of this if it wasn't controlled.

"Ready for the second round?" Mai asked Zuko who nodded, his eyelids heavy. Mai lit up more herbs in the cigarette and offered it to him, he took it and felt almost too hyperaware.

Ty Lee signaled them to keep their drinking and lines, Electra asking Mai to help her with Rhino.

"Just try not to grab it yourself, I'm the one controlling it so it won't control you" Mai instructed as Electra nodded. Sokka was in shock but continued drinking, feeling a bit anxious, contrary to the purpose.

Suki noticed it as she watched Electra put on the sheet of rhino on her tongue, squeezing his knee to gain his attention.

"You don't have to be here, you seem uncomfortable" Suki said as Sokka looked down on his cup, unsure of why it was starting to become unbearable being there, seeing his friends in this environment.

"I am a little bit tense, this is new. Everything here except this glass is new" Sokka replied as Suki looked at the table, the jenamite tempting her. "How do you cope with this?"

She laid on her arms and sighed, thinking a bit for a good reply.

"I just do it, nothing too hard. This is my first time here too" Suki said as Sokka looked at the table. "Besides…I don't have a really good experience prior with stronger stuff"

Toph was beginning to see the effects of the jenamite, startling her and exciting her as the silhouettes she saw of her friends were beginning to take colors.

"Holy shit" Toph said laughing wickedly, scaring Suki who knew about the illusions. "Can anyone in this room move?"

Zuko stood up from the ground and sat on the couch, waving at Toph who saw his body red. Toph smiled and pointed towards Suki's image.

"Suki, describe yourself pleaseee" Toph said waving "I can see! I see you!"

This caught them all of guard, stopping their indulging to see her reply. Electra's dose finally hit and she felt as if the room was on fire. She grabbed her braids and clumsily put them in a bun, shedding off a part of her dress to not feel so so warm

Sokka tried to cover her but Electra giggled, trying to move again her arms and failing.

"I feel so heavy" Electra said as she reached for the cigarette, smiling cheeky towards Toph who was shocked to see the people around her.

"Give me more of this! I want to see faces now" Toph said grabbing Ty Lee. The acrobat obliged and began preparing other line as Sokka looked at the fun they were having. His eyes were already big and it made him see everything.

Suki drank the more jealous she felt of Mai and Zuko sitting so close, the couple began using Rhino and jenamite. Zuko felt her gaze and tried to move but the heaviness wouldn't let him, he instead shed clothes leaving him shirtless but still unable to move freely. Mai's jenamite made her brave enough to be sultry and seductive towards him

Zuko failed to realize this before, but Mai was very very attractive to him still, now more then ever after knowing how smart and a good teacher she was.

"Mai can you help me with more?" Zuko asked as the rush died down a bit, remembering he used something similar to his anxiety years ago. Mai nodded and prepared him another dose.

"You are obeying me now, understood?" Mai said as Zuko nodded, charmed and hypnotized as the drug was put on his mouth. He was beginning to feel incredibly thirsty, asking her for more booze.

Suki was gripping the bottle so hard Sokka had to pass the sake near him so Zuko could have something to drink. She looked at the drugs and was not determined to find out how jenamite would act on her again, opting to choose the duck.

Sokka observed as Suki grabbed two pills, deciding whether to or not to take them. Sokka's drunkenness made his hand slip on hers, grabbing a pill. Suki was about to object until she saw his moon sized eyes, similar to hers.

"Just like a said on the beach, you do I do" Sokka said as he opened her mouth, Suki let him and took the pill. Sokka nervously let her do the same.

"You look just like the first time I painted your face" Suki remembered as she slipped the pill on his mouth, his lips sucking her finger as she slowly removed it. She clenched her teeth feeling ashamed of how hot Sokka looked.

Sokka wasn't even sure if the pill was original or not, but the effects had begun to appear, as his eyes blurred and his tiredness reverted to more energy then drinking cactus juice. He grabbed more cactus juice and drank it, being cheered on by Suki and Electra.

He turned to see Electra and couldn't believe how in the first place she looked so good in whaterever setting she was in. She had such a beautiful hair and smell that it was almost her watermark.

"Toph? Can you feel me?" Electra asked breaking the moving rule, but as the chaperons were too intoxicated to intervene, they didn't do anything.

"Yes, I can, I can see you too!" She said excited, touching her braids "Woah! You are really an eyecandy"

"You can see my face?" Electra asked covering it ashamed of being discovered of her crush "What color are my eyes?"

"Uh…I can see but no see still" Toph explained to her coworker who listened carefully "I see the outline buuuut I'm sure you are not that deformed"

"Of course not, it's the drug that makes you see that way" Said Noburu who sat closer to the girls. Rage filled Toph's feelings, wanting to punch him

"Shut up dickshit!" Toph screamed scaring Ty Lee and Electra, who tried to calm the girl "Who said this lower ring scum could enter the room?"

"What are you saying? Nobody has entered" Ty Lee asked looking everywhere to see if someone else was hidden

"Of course you would be by his side! You fucked him" Toph accused as Ty Lee gasped loudly

"And? He is not your boyfriend and he is NOT here" The acrobat replied annoyed "I can see in your pointed tone and aura that you are fuming but-"

"But what? Dipshit, loose, unloyal, traito-"

"Toph STOP" Electra commanded grabbing her from behind as hard as she could "Noburu isn't here"

"That's what happened to you too?" Sokka asked Suki whom where sitting side by side, looking at their friends. The future firelady nodded, resting her head on the councilman's shoulder. "I'm sorry I was the lower ring scum in your dreams"

"Not only you, my dad, this lady who probably killed him, a dead Zuko" She replied nonchalantly, Sokka's focus shifted immediately to her.

"What?"

"And not only that! I SAW HER" Suki said with tears of joy "She was sooo serene and bright, trying to help me live but I just couldn't bother"

"Oh Suki" Sokka said tearfully, pinching the bridge of his nose "I saw her twice too. Once when I was dying and at the north pole"

"You did? How did that go?" Suki asked worried "Were you dying both times too?"

"Just the first time you found me, she just stated the obvious and then Kat woke me up. Second time we chatted about you and I, and how I was idolizing you" He explained as they sat facing each other

"And did you?"

"I told you when we broke up that I did, then you told me about the waterbender whom I have a suspicious idea who could that be" Sokka replied as Suki winced a bit "then it all went downhill until I recognized what was missing on that festivity and here I am"

"Wow, I had no idea" Suki replied thoughtfull "I mean you told me but not like that"

"I hoped to do it on the phone so it wouldn't be as embarrassing, it didn't feel that way thought now that I know it's part of me to just talk that talk" Sokka said smiling as Suki bit her lip "Suks?"

"I don't want to look like them. I just…I'm not working on me as I should? There is this darkening that comes and goes from time to time but…I just don't want to feel like the outsider anymore" Suki replied pointing towards Zuko and Mai who were whispering to each other things that just made them look the same color as the walls.

"The outsider?" Sokka asked confused as Suki nodded her head rapidly "You are the future firelady, you can just snap your fingers and your worries are gone"

"But I'm still alone" Suki replied with a frown "I don't have anyone at the end of the day. Not being able to feel like myself while being alone is worse than I thought. I haven't felt like this since those days at the boiling rock"

"Have you talked to somebody about this?" Sokka asked surprised as Suki denied it "I'm so thankful for your trust, feel free to vent"

Suki continued rambling to Sokka about her fear of dying alone and feeling incapable to move forward on anything, as she was so used to fighting so even if she dreamed about her family and marriage, it was never an option.

"Now that the honeymoon is over…what is next you know?" Suki asked puzzled as Sokka nodded, feeling that way years before "then afterwards, what?"

"You just keep trying, nothing comes from doing it in one day. Not even I the great student could learn in one day your fighting techniques" Sokka mocked as Suki laughed ugly, falling towards him happy.

"I'm so glad we can talk like this, no drama" Suki said hugging him, Sokka hugged back enthusiastically, trying to shake her more emotion

"I know we shouldn't be doing this" He said as he stared at the aura around her, red aura it seemed to him? He looked deeply at her eyes as they flickered between blue, purple and green, somehow similar to the northern lights "But this is actually really fun"

"Is it?" She asked seeing his war paint suddenly on his face, flipping between the kyoshi war paint and his own

"Yes, I get to actually listen to you, instead of being a burden and talking all awkward" Sokka said brushing some hair away from her glowing eyes, the red in her lips increasing it's intensity

"You were never a burden, I was just mad" Suki explained looking at all the tattoos on his neck but she wasn't sure if there were there moments before.

"Mad? Were you always mad at me?" Sokka asked as Suki thought about it for some minutes, trying to think why it made her mad

"Just when you ran to this other girls, like Electra" Suki replied pointing towards her, whom now was dressed similarly to Yue in her own purgatory, she looked gorgeous "It just made me feel even more of a shell"

"I will always be hateful of myself because of that" Sokka intervened, grabbing her cheeks with gentleness so he could look at her "In another life…maybe we wouldn't be here loosing ourselves to compensate something"

"Shut up" Suki said looking down with a grin, slapping his hand away, the drugs making her fall for him and how cute he was looking could mean the earliest scenarios getting real. She wouldn't take a chance "I will work in my darkness but…is hard not to want something so close to me yet…so far"

"Don't do them really" Zuko said to both girls "They hurt everything inside you and mess up more than the high they offer"

Toph remembered those other words her friend told them as she halted, feeling angry and annoyed at trying Jenamite. She vented towards Ty Lee who was looking shocked

"Why did it have to be him?" Toph asked hurt as the acrobat thought it for a second

"Noburu? That's why you are still so angry at me?" Ty Lee asked hurt

"You are still mad at Suki and Zuko! Even after you were rooting for them so hard" Toph said annoyed "I can still be mad of you fucking my lover"

"Well…I honestly didin't know. If I had prior I would have not got anything with him. I just thought both of you were friends" Ty Lee explained "I'm sorry"

"That;s what I wanted to hear, was it really too hard for you to say it? You are my friend, WERE my friend" Toph corrected herself as she saw Noburu looking proud of her

"Were? I am not?" Ty Lee asked with sadness as Toph thought about it

"Not until you give them another chance, they will be your rulers and still want you around? How harsh you can be until you actually forgive them?" Toph asked as Ty Lee and Electra sat looking sad

"It's just…I can see how in love is Mai with him. It's not the same love Suki displays and it hurts me that she is masking herself because of Azula" Ty Lee vented tearfully as she looked around scared

"What are you searching for?" Electra said closing her eyes to avoid the harsh light to affect her

"She is here, I can see her behind the bars" Ty Lee said scared "I'll tell you later"

Suki and Sokka played with their arms ignoring the world for a little bit, wanting to get rid of all the energy they suddenly had without falling to their basic instincts, which was proving to be harder the more their skins touched.

Zuko was too foggy and feeling too good to care what was happening around him. He closed his eyes and hugged Mai

"Can you feel it?" He asked as Mai nodded "It's slowing down…I don't hate it"

"You shouldn't feel like it's slows down" Mai said as Zuko ignored her, smiling wickedly. His hand brushing Mai's hair. "Zuko what did I tell you before?"

"You are my madam…yes, I can hear you. But this feels so nice…"Zuko said dragging the words, still not opening his eyes. He continued brushing Mai's hair as she laid down paying attention to his heartbeat that was lulling her.

"Suki is your madam, right now she is with her ex while you are with your ex. What are you even doing?" Mai questioned annoyed as Zuko continued lost in his euphoria, not listening at all what she was saying.

Sokka closed his eyes and could see both poles together, moving and getting closer and closer. Two beautiful trees standing to each side of the cities, connecting them with lights and air that forbid people to close to cut them.

"Wow" Sokka said dreamily as Suki tilted her head, smiling. "Wow"

"What are you saying?" Suki asked as she closed her eyes too, wanting to be as happy as he was. Azula's face was the first thing to greet her, except it wasn't her anymore and it morphed into Karina and then Katara. "Wow"

The faces disappeared and made space to an ambiguous figure beating, as she tried to touch it the being grew in size, turning into a human whose characteristic were too familiar.

"Whore"

Suki opened her eyes confused, shaking her head and Sokka's. He stopped looking at the beautiful creatures to open his eyes.

"Are you alright?" He asked dreamily as his hands dusted small shinning particles, he liked it and put some on her arms. "You look weirded out"

"I don't remember what I was watching" She said blinking slowly, feeling as if she moved faster she would spin out. She hugged Sokka and he hugged back.

"I do, it was this awesome trees and lights in the pole"

"One pole?"

"Both were one"

"Oh"

Suki smiled listening as an idiot, feeling the urge to dance. Sokka just wanted to move, so he helped her up as she tried to follow him

"This is what they danced at that cave" Sokka said kicking as Suki dodged and moved, feeling really flexible. "We just wont be able to levitate"

"Give it a few hours" Suki replied laughing "We will be moondancing"

Suki grabbed his hand and ran towards what would be a secret passage, only to be stopped by Ty who was looking at them suspiciously.

"We want a place to dance" Sokka announced happily "Is there any other space other than this tiny room?"

"There is actually" Ty said grabbing them and pushing them towards the back of the room, where many pillows and blankets were thrown "Just don't kill yourselves"

"We won't, thanks Ty!" Suki thanked hugging tightly her friend, the acrobat was trying really hard to fight the motion of showing love.

Zuko kept looking at the roof, his eyelids barely hanging on.

"Why would you ask me something like that? Haven't you learned anything this months?" Mai said angered as she puffed more, helping her voice all the strong feelings inside.

"Mai…" Zuko was unable to talk, his jaw feeling to lax as he tried to talk, his hands rounded her face as Mai frown increased "Watch"

"Watch what?" She asked annoyed as Zuko kissed her cheek, making her weakly push him away. "Zuko!"

Toph, Electra and Ty Lee looked at the couple interested, Toph's euphoria starting to put her in a more paranoid state than she would like to admit.

"Talk to me, don't let the images morph your reality" Electra said as Ty Lee ignored the couple "What are you seeing?"

"Noburu is still here, trying to win me back" Toph explained annoyed "And I can see both of you, Ty lee you have black hair?"

"I don't actually, it's light brown" She gestured as Toph's eyes adjusted the color on her hair. "Electra is white"

"White huh? Really similar to princess Yue" Toph said as Electra nodded uncomfortably "How did you got that color without being the moon princess?"

"I got old really quick basically" Electra said laughing "That's what the healers said"

"It doesn't make any sense" Toph said trying to comprehend "Why would that make your hair white?"

"I don't have enough color cells doing their work, so I just got white skin, white hair and really purple eyes" Electra explained as both girls thought about it.

Mai wouldn't hesitate if Zuko begged her like he did towards Suki, but the public perception of her would be skewed, so she wouldn't accept anything less then that. And not days before his big announcement would be made.

"What is that you are afraid of?" Mai asked as Zuko looked dazed into her "The babies part again?"

"I am maybe realizing that I won't have a very loyal wife, won't it help better if we were together instead?" Zuko asked a bit hurt as he tried to get close to Mai

"I told you before and I will again, it was the last time" Mai said with her head lighter then she imagined, confused on whether act on her feelings or keep her ego.

She shoves her head into his neck, feeling even more comfortable.

"It doesn't have to be, you have a special place in my heart…" Zuko whispered as he suddenly got more energy, his eyes still heaving as the gold rush was hidden beneath his messy hair.

He kissed her cheek, trying to have access to her lips, she turned her head away, anger building up as she stood up, he did too

"I wanted to be that woman, not anymore. Let's see what you can offer and then suggest me that. But other than dealing with you leaving me for anything or anyone, I don't want to go back" She whispered as Zuko looked defeated.

Zuko was defeated, before determination took over him.

"What can I do for you?" Zuko asked "I'm the firelord, I can get you anything"

"Trust perhaps?" Mai said with venom "You never trusted me like her, we never had those long late talks or romance"

"You hated that" Zuko replied "I would have don-"

"It doesn't matter anymore, trust your fucking wife and stop trying to string me along. I'm not Sokka nor you to string along until you decide you love me again" Mai said walking towards the other room, with Zuko running behind to follow her.

Suki and Sokka continued dancing on the other room to a beat both loudly were creating, giggling and laughing.

"Follow my lead" Suki said putting his hand on her shoulders as she jumped in a small snake circle, he followed jumping too, trying to not trip on the pillows.

"I love this!" Sokka said as he hugged her again and they jumped in their place in circles, feeling ditzy until they tripped and fell, her above him.

"Sorry! I shouldn't have eaten too much cookies" Suki apologized as she sat by his side, she stared at his blue mooned eyes, who barely had blue in them. His aura, she thought, was brighter than ever, guessing by his smile too.

"You can land on me anytime you want…that's what are friends are for" Sokka said with his trip finally slowing down, touching her arm to feel the electricity and bliss, whom were really visual. Did he create electricity?

"Friends…" Suki remarked feeling confused, a sting wanting to show but being washed away as she looked at his hand caressing her skin

"So…do you do the same thing we did? As a couple?" Sokka asked innocently, Suki thought about it for a second, closing her eyes to remember their dates.

The dinner, the tunnels, their first time on a shrine?

"No" Suki replied "It has more variety"

"We just didn't have enough time" Sokka replied annoyed, smiling afterwards "Don't you ever get confused?"

"About what?" Suki asked with curiosity "You are not the same"

"Our names…are kinda similar" He said pointing at the imaginary wall he had writing "Zuko, Sokka, Zuko, Sokka, Sukka, Zooko, Zoka, Sukko"

"What are you on?" Suki laughed looking at the board with the names "I have confused you physically but not your names, that's shitty"

Sokka looked surprised at what she said

"You don't think is shitty to think about me when you are with him?" Sokka analyzed his chances, putting a loose hair around his ear, nervous.

"It is, but it is hard to get over you" Suki explained "Can you blame me?"

"You are right, I can't blame you. I know I'm excellent in every department" Sokka said winking as Suki doubled laughing, posing a hand on his chest.

"You have changed but you are still…you" Suki said amazed "I think I'm in love"

"With Zuko right?" Sokka asked wanting to hear a no from her, Suki took conscience and backtracked. "Right"

"Yeah…do you?" Suki asked as Sokka looked confused "You kissed him the day before the wedding"

"NO" Sokka blushed as he laughed maniacally, followed by Suki. "I was just horny, he wanted to take my girl away just moments before kissing? Not a chance I would have lost that fight"

"I wish I could remember more than what I do, what a blessing that night was" Suki reimagined laying down, her hands brushing her breast as she felt more aroused. Sokka couldn't take her eyes off her, specially after she saw him. "Don't you?"

"We can do it again, why not?" Sokka said bravely, wanting any excuse to be with her, to touch her. Suki's trip slowed her and made her notice they had been gone for a long time.

"We should go back to the party, I don't know how much time we have been here" Suki said as she stood up, helping Sokka too. He hugged her again, liking the closeness and how they could cuddle perfectly.

Suki against all her will to stay there forever, got away, her sight darknening for a few moments.

That made Sokka's trip die as he was overly concerned of how fast the darkening was appearing.

"Suks? Suks?" He asked as the darkening died a bit, her confused face looking back at him "Tui and La you scared me again"

Suki had too much contact with him already, her skin was burning and every moment she touched him it felt like she would die if they didn't lock lips.

"I'm just horny, let me find Zuko" She said with a laugh as Sokka laughed dryly, hurt on who she was searching for and scared on how fast the darkness showed. He followed until they abruptly stopped at the scene unfolding in front of them

Mai and Zuko whispering and apparently…angry with each other. Nothing new until Zuko tried to kiss her. He tried? Was he tripping? He didn't have time to question it as he grabbed Suki's arm and guided her to the party.

"Were they kissing?" Suki asked shakily as Sokka denied it profusely

"I think we are having a bad trip, I didn't see anybody there" Sokka lied, fearing anything could happen. Toph was about to scream until Electra pushed her down on the floor, covering her mouth on her hand.

"You can't see, you can't touch and you are feeling lies" Electra repeated as Toph tried to bite her hand, she quickly removed it before pinning her down again. "Understood?"

"NO! Why is…." She suddenly felt two heartbeats pumping loudly. Those hearts came back to the room. She turned to see and it was the fire nation couple that quarreled moments ago.

"Let's all get you to your rooms in this area, were food is prepared according to your relaxation method" Mai indicated as Ty Lee grabbed Zuko and Suki, whom both were still high on their dose.

Mai grabbed Electra and Toph as Sokka waved her off, walking with them.

"So…good job, we all relaxed" Sokka congratulated her as Mai ignored the small chat, putting them in the room. "Thanks for the munchies too"

"It's part of my job as a cultural ambassador" Mai said sighing "Don't get use to my politeness"

She closed the door as the trio tried to find their actual dose of food and hydratation. Toph ate desperately, she felt the sugar was more than needed in her system and having mooncakes and candies made it better.

Sokka kept chugging all the berries and fruits in the room, with strange water that reminded him of the fishes at home. He wondered if there was salt in it, but it didn't bothered him. He looked at Electra who wasn't fond of anything in her table.

"Aren't you going to eat that?" Sokka asked as she looked to him and then the food. She looked anxiously at the food in front of her, she was starving but couldn't bear to eat all of that.

Even after knowing she should have or the day after she would be a walking corpse. Her petite hand could barely grab the piece of bread and cheese that was on her plate, taking a deep breath, she devoured it, gulping loudly as she searched for anything to chug it back.

She couldn't find any water and the pit on her stomach grew bigger.

"I just…want to be with him but I'm not willing to give up my freedom for him" Toph said towards Ty Lee as she nodded "I don't think it's love. I don't even know what love is"

She kept eating more bread and heavy veggies, shivering a bit

"Don't you want to feel loved?" Electra asked as Toph shrugged

"The love I have seen is not what I need, anything but that. Fun and light is better" Toph replied laughing as she flipped of someone on the other empty corner "Specially if it's with a man"

"He is fun" Ty Lee said as Electra shot daggers "As a person…maybe you need to lower your guard"

"I don't even know why I am talking to you about this" Toph replied disgusted as she looked at a blurred face

She felt strange, wanting to push back the feeling of guilt at eating everything. In her drowsy state, still, Electra walked towards Toph whose stomach was hurting from all the portions she ate in a small fraction of time.

"Sup ice queen?" Toph asked grinning as she heard her heartbeat trying to pump harder "Want to do a feet reading?"

Toph waited to reply after feeling the strokes of her finger in her palm, making a short sentence that wasn't expected that day.

Sokka grinned and laid to sleep on the bed, giving them privacy as he dreamed of how her betrothed lover danced and flirted with him today.

Electra was thankful Toph was blind as she could feel the heat on her face. She stopped the sentence and squeezed the metalbender's hand as she walked slowly to the bed, falling into it to feign being sleepy and drugged, even if that wasn't her state anymore.

Toph was a bit shocked that it happened today after many months of ambiguity. She wasn't sure on what to do with the feelings of the woman. That woman.

Now that was a good topic to ask Suki.

Suki kept trying to put Zuko in an actual bliss, doing her best as she kissed and touched him. Zuko felt in heaven but not enough to actually explode.

Suki was confused and horny, trying to get enough of him as he struggled to shush her.

"Fuck" Zuko muttered angry he couldn't actually finish, stopping to pick some air as Suki kept hugging him.

"Don't get angry" Suki said smiling "Relax"

"I can't" Zuko said putting on his robe, making Suki confused. "I'm sorry"

"What's wrong?" Suki asked as she ate berries on the counter, helping her feel less dehydrated.

"We were the whole time apart from each other, and now we are like rabbits" Zuko said huffing "Don't you think it's wrong?"

"We were being social? Why is that wrong?" Suki asked as Zuko frowned "What?"

"You socializing with your ex in a room alone?" Zuko interrogated as Suki laughed, making him angrier

"Hey! We just danced in circles, we actually talked about repeating our little three" Suki said pointing at both of them and the door, Zuko looked irritated

"What do you mean about the three? What three with Sokka?" He asked as he put on his pants and robe, going around the bed to grab water and think

Suki looked amazed "He doesn't remember anything" , she covered her mouth and laughed loud, unable to contain. Zuko kept brainstorming

"What are you laughing at?" Zuko kept asking angrier, until a braincell connected and images flashed. "Threesome?"

"Yes!" Suki said trying to contain her laughing, Zuko kept trying to see the blurred face. "You do remember who we kissed right?"

Zuko hummed, continuing to drink and eat as he was sure they were in another day. Suki looked at the white powder with curiosity, grabbing a spoon of it and putting it in her. It tasted like heaven for her so she chugged it with water.

"But now that you are trying to pick a fight" Suki replied more calmer, probably thanks to the powder "Why were you so close to Mai?"

"Mai? Oh yeah…we were discussing things" Zuko replied doing his best to hide, as lying was hard for him

"Things about what? How much drugs can she put in your mouth?" Suki asked annoyed, crossing her arms on her chest

"Let's take a shower, please" Zuko said reaching for her as she stepped back "Suki"

"Zuko" She replied with more intensity "I think I saw you trying to do something"

He tried his best to avoid the topic, at least until she was presented to their peers as future firelady. He precisely wanted to avoid picking a discussion until they were far away from the fire nation.

"I think you saw wrong because I was sitting on the sofa this whole time" Zuko replied prepping the hot water on the bathtube, making Suki angry. She was exhausted and felt the need to express it but decided to hold it.

She needed to hold it for the sake of the promise.

Mai laid in her bed feeling conflicted and anxious about seeing Zuko in the next hours. She was never a full romantic mode until someone tried to adjust it to her views and routine, now that was romantic for her.

Being a concubine? Not by chance, even if she had dreamed years before for this opportunity. She wanted to be the only one, incapable of sharing the boy she loved.

So she decided to give it away the more Zuko's crush and love towards their peer grew. She hated her for some time, feeling as if being the damsel in distress moved him so much he now wanted to be his rescuer.

She hated how selfish the islander was, protecting her heart and playing with his, until the moment like today presented itself, cheating on him. Except it didn't seem to happen and she was the one to commit infidelity with Zuko.

She hated herself now for being selfish, because in the long run Zuko would feel troubled and ashamed of them. He would blame himself for everything even if both of them wanted it at that moment.

Silent tears streamed down her face as she wished she could be the one on her place, helping him deal with everything and everyone. Why wouldn't he give in completely? Why was she even in the palace?

She needed to leave, Azula was terrifying but the heartbreak would kill her slower then the former princess. She cleaned herself and opened her bags, feeling the adrenaline rush for a last time before it died and the present came back.

Zuko missed the sexual part with her, only wanted her because she was a loyal follower, not lover.

She kept throwing the clothes on the bags, the adrenaline dying and the tears beginning to flow rapidly as she struggled to keep her face straight as she always did. She kept herself confined to the palace waiting for an opportunity.

As she looked at all the clothes on the bags she could feel the heartbreaking setting in, putting down her head in pain. She clenched her tears as she struggled to hide her whims, feeling wretched.

"You jerk" She laughed as she finished crying, feeling as if she had shed too many tears, as much as her heart heaved.

"You look gorgeous!" Karina said as Suki looked nervously at the mirror, her euphoria had not died down, but it cost her a lot of her energy, feeling drained.

Her eyebags were visible and she could see the stress taking it's toll on how thin her face looked.

"I love you as a friend, but as a friend friend you are a bad liar" Suki said as she stood up for them to change her.

"I am being serious!" Karina exclaimed as she looked for anything else that was wrong with her face "Why you don't believe it?"

"I look really tired" Suki said as she lifted her arms, the beautiful robe being tied down with big strands of golden silk. "I can't believe they prepped that party with all of that"

"It was optional to partake" Karina said a bit upset "You didn't need to do anything"

"Nothing bad happened actually, no need for you to get all worried up" Suki clarified as she smiled at the memmorie of dancing with Sokka.

"Now that's a smile we love!" Karina pointed as Suki blushed "Being a firelady will suit you very well, it's a good thing you love Zuko"

"It's a blessing" Suki said as the happiness decreased, the obligation of becoming his wife being almost shadowed with what Zuko and Mai were talking.

She wasn't jealous before, but an ex lover as important as Mai was not to be taken lightly. Specially after spending so much time together and the whole debate about firebender babies.

Knocking on the door interrupted her thoughts, after all, firelord and future firelady would enter together.

They thought about presenting Azula too so a bit of their engagement could be overshadowed by the critics of liberating a war prisoner. Suki hoped that plan would work.

"Princess Azula, firelord Zuko" the maid bowed slightly before getting out. Suki stood up from the bed and Karina took her right side, in case anything happened as her hand was not as powerful as before.

"You look gorgeous" Zuko said smiling sweetly, Mai looked briefly at Suki and then towards Azula, hating still being present for the ceremony.

"Money can do wonders, presentable enough" Azula said as Zuko frowned, making her grin. "We need to go now, Karina"

"I know I know" She said as she walked out to merge "Don't worry about nothing" she whispered as she left the room.

"Zuko, we need to break the tradition a bit" Mai said as he waited for her to continue talking, almost as if waiting for anything. Mai walked towards the dresser and took out a mask that covered everything but her eyes.

Suki couldn't feel happier as she wanted to avoid a little bit being seen.

"Why would I put that on her?" Zuko asked "Most of the palace know by now who Suki is"

"I wanted to agree with you Mai, but we can get a middle ground with this. Suki has enough makeup to not be recognized without it. You can put it on and pull it off for your first speech, deal?" Azula rhetorically asked as they both nodded, Suki rolled her eyes, wanting it to get over it.

Doing it would mean she was no longer available, not tempted to run away and leave everything. She was doing a greater good staying.

"Let's go girls, Zuko, you need to be on the throne as they introduce us" Azula shooed him as Zuko wanted to take a peek to her hidden face, the last of pure gold leaving as she was alone with her teachers.

"Time to act pea, we don't want them to know this is arranged" Azula mocked as they all walked towards the main throne room, were the ceremony would be held.

"I am a bit glad they are not doing the whole circus thing, no offense Ty Lee, it would be hard to pull off as a foreigner" Electra said as she waited with Sokka and Ty lee, the girl shrugged.

"It would have been very hard with the time she was given, but she is a fast learner" Ty said as she grabbed another drink "With all how fast is set up that archer thing would have been a disaster"

"What? Archers?" Sokka asked drowning in his drink before ordering more "who would have thought…"

He was anxiously eyeing were she would appear, the thumbs in his chest being sometimes louder then his companion voices.

"Shut up!" Toph said as she approached them, making Sokka roll his eyes, drowning on his drink again. His emotions were heightened and the feeling of eternal laziness was odd to him. Toph felt grumpy with all the lack of sugar on her system.

Electra scanned the room and finally saw how everyone was beginning to be in a certain position.

"It's about to start" Electra said as they saw Zuko pass the main floor towards the throne. Toph yawned because for her social gatherings were for eating, not necessarily talking unless necessary.

Sokka could swear his life was flashing through his eyes, less intense then what he felt as he dangled on the air with Toph on his arm as only support, but enough for making him feel like puking up darkness.

"I love you so much Suki"

Suki was waiting for the ceremonial song, hoping her darkness wouldn't manifest the moment she walked towards the throne. It was intimidating knowing everyone would look at her and her name would be known.

The new firelady

He sighed, wanting to run towards her. Her walk was paced with the music, the new mask and veil that covered her face made the mystery of how she looked a hot topic as she got closer towards Zuko.

"When all of this is over, I promise-"

"Sokka! We are still warriors, we can't think of that yet"

Suki's teeth were slightly quivering, she wanted to turn around and disappear on her secluded island. The promises on her head and honor on her heart were something holding her from running.

"I promise to love you even more"

"That's a promise I will make you hold it for the rest of your life"

Zuko grabbed her hands, she could see he was happy. It was a dream all that was happening, just like the first time she said she loved him.

"I present to all of you, my future wife. Brave warrior and loyal to nation and heart" He described as his eyes with glee, pulled off the mask.

He decided to keep the veil on, a part of the privacy still lingering as it was hard to see through the clothes.

"She looks beautiful" Sokka said without air, his focus exclusively on how she looked and how he wished he was the one instead of him.

Electra could see the other things he couldn't, the way Zuko held her, how they were about to kiss. She took his hand to comfort him as he turned chugging on his drink. Drowning all the negative feelings that wanted to be thrown out of his stomach.
