A collection of FAKE drabbles to go with my Torchwood drabble collection. They'll probably be mainly Dee/Ryo and I've rated the collection T to cover anything I might write. If you've read any of my Torchwood drabbles, you'll know I live for variety and anything goes, though my writing is primarily on the fluffy side.

1561. Muddy Mess

The roof garden was a mess. A hard winter of high winds, heavy rain, and snow had left everywhere muddy. The perennial plants that had somehow survived had been flattened, and despite the drainage system Dee and Ryo had installed when setting them up, several of the raised beds were flooded, turning them into mud wallows.

Dee stared at the devastation in horror. "How're we ever gonna get this sorted in time for spring plantin'?"

Ryo shook his head. "I have no idea, and if we get more rain…" He trailed off, looking up at the sky. "Which it looks like we will."

"Should'a turned the roof into a swimmin' pool instead of a garden," Dee grumbled. "Welp, no use just standin' here starin'. It's not rainin' yet, so we may as well make a start on bailin' out the worst of the beds."

"We should see what's going on with the drains first. Some of them might have gotten blocked with dead leaves. If we can clear the blockages, they should drain themselves, save us one job."

"Good thinkin'." Dee shot his lover a grin. "By the time we're done, we're gonna look like we've taken up mud wrestlin'."
