It was late one afternoon and Peacemaker was overlooking a building dramatically with his shield in a pose. "The city of Metropolis; protected by many heroes including the Super Friends. One of which is the Peacemaker; sworn to fight for peace no matter how many bad guys he must beat up to do so! While his friends and teammates are busy at the moment; the Peacemaker is keeping watch over this city which seems to be at peace at the moment... Good for the Peacemaker's goal of peace for all but..." Peacemaker sighed as he put his free hand to his and started slouching. "He is kind of bored and..." Peacemaker muttered but then heard sirens from a distance.
With a bit of a grin he then took out his grappling hook and then started swinging to the area and saw a getaway car being chased by police cars. He then noticed a figure perched on the rooftops in an orange bodysuit with black stripes, an orange tiger's mask that showed her blonde hair and a bow and arrow that she was using to fire at the police cars. "I am sorry but I think you are helping some criminals and... Can I ask what's with the bow and arrow if you are going for a tiger theme?" Peacemaker asked casually as he then tackled her to the ground.
The figure then pushed him off and readied her bow at him as she then fired and Peacemaker blocked the arrows with his shield and was taken aback when they exploded but they got up. "Funny coming from the guy calling himself Peacemaker and dressed in some sort of flag colors with a bird shield..." mocked the figure as she then tackled him cat like and Peacemaker pushed her off.
They then started fighting with the figure punching, kicking and dodging well against Peacemaker but he then saw that the car was getting away; using more of his strength and speed that he was holding back he pushed her back. She grumbled as she got up and went to tackle him but he moved out of the way quickly and then knocked her out with a shield bash to the head.
Then there was a smoke bomb and once Peacemaker could see again he saw that the figure was gone; he then wondered but saw that the getaway car was well getting away so he pushed his thoughts to the side as he went after it.
The figure groaned as she got up and saw that she was taken to a van and overlooking her was a large strong stern figure with blonde hair; an armoured hockey mask, a black short sleeved bodysuit with dark purple armouring plates along with armoured hockey pads. "Sorry dad..." the figure said to the more imposing one.
The next day at school it was the lunch hour and Lincoln was sitting in the field's stands while looking up tiger themed villains on his phone. He ended up finding what looked to be an older woman wearing a similar outfit to the villain that he had fought the previous afternoon; said that she was a criminal and mercenary with worked with fellow criminal and mercenary Sportsmaster and his eyebrow was raised at the photo taken of them together. "So was this person related to this Tigress?" Lincoln wondered as the other girls went to sit down with him and they started cheering on Diana as she was practicing with the school's track team after joining.
Diana ran quite fast and well with the other track team members who were struggling to keep up with her. When she was done they ran on the field and began patting her on the back.
"You were amazing Diana! I bet even Lynn would struggle to even keep up with you!" Lincoln said sounding quite smug hoping that she could see that for himself at some point.
"You look amazing; on the track and just you!" Zee then told her eyeing her in her tank top and shorts uniform.
"No one can keep up with you Diana!" Barbara told her and Karen squealed as she nodded her head and Jessica was just nodding.
"Yeah... You are good but I bet I can smoke you if I was allowed to race you myself..." Kara then remarked trying to act all dismissive and they heard yelling and they saw a muscular man in a gym uniform blowing a whistle at a nervous blonde haired teenage girl in a ponytail as she started running around the track.
"I heard that Artemis was second to last out in her class' dodgeball game today and Coach Crock must have heard himself..." Jessica muttered as Diana frowned and the rest looked at her in pity.
"I never thought that I would ever see someone more obsessed with sports or more of an aggressive coach than Lynn but my first class with Coach Crock proved me wrong..." Lincoln muttered wincing as Diana then ran up to Artemis.
"Artemis Crock; aren't you? I can't help but notice how hard your father is being on you... I can relate as my mother had been strict with training me as I grew up as well..." Diana then said to her with a smile as she then offered a hand but Artemis glared and kept on running with Diana easily keeping up. "Do you have any free time? Because I would love for us to meet up and discuss..." Diana then said as Artemis scoffed.
"Diana Prince the star student in her own gym class and whose pity I don't need! I don't have free time as I have to train to be the best; my father is a multiple time Olympic gold medalist and I have expectations in the family to keep up! I don't need friends; what I need is to overcome any obstacles or rivals!" Artemis then said as Diana frowned as Artemis just ran off.
Crock family house and the matriarch of the Crock family; Paula Brooks-Crock had gone home from her job running the Crock Gym and greeted her husband coach Lawrence 'Crusher' Crock with a kiss as they then both looked sternly down at Artemis. "Your father has told me about you striking out in dodgeball; right after you messed up the operation yesterday afternoon! We thought that you were ready to take on the mantle of the Tigress but I guess that we should have known better than overestimate your abilities." Paula told her with a disappointed sigh.
"Mum; the Peacemaker guy is stronger and faster than I thought... Plus if he fought monsters..." Artemis replied as Crusher put up a hand to silence her.
"We don't want to hear any excuses; your mother and I will be actually getting job done while you will be spending this time training." Crusher told her as they dismissed her and then they went to a secret storage area showing the Sportsmaster and Tigress equipment.
The Super Friends were together on patrol and Wonder Woman ended up sighing causing everyone's attention to go onto her; "Sorry friends but I was still thinking about Artemis... The pressure that is put onto her by her father and herself... Pushed away my offer for help..." Wonder Woman said as Zatanna gave her a serious look.
"My daddy doesn't put the pressure on me but I put it on myself to live up to him; trust me Diana... It's not easy having a successful father that you want to badly to live up to..." Zatanna told her and Wonder Woman was silent but then there was a phone alert.
Batgirl took out her phone and gasped; "There is a report of an attack at a fancy restaurant... One where a senator was having a business lunch and the attack is led by Sportsmaster and Tigress..." Batgirl then explained as Peacemaker had his eyes widened and he got ready with everyone else.
"Someone dressed in sports gear; should be easy enough to deal with..." Supergirl grinned smashing her fists together and Limelight got a construct bubble to fly most of them at super speed to the restaurant location.
They went into the hole and saw that there was government agents dealing with masked criminals and they then went to work helping to fight the criminals. They then went into action with Bumblebee blasting at some, Zatanna using her magic against them, Limelight shielding her with a construct shield, Batgirl fighting some and Supergirl charging right up at several. Some of the government agents were taking a man in a suit from a hiding spot to Peacemaker and Wonder Woman who dealt with the nearest criminal.
"Peacemaker! Wonder Woman! Get Senator Eden to safety!" he said as Wonder Woman took the Senator into her arms and Peacemaker shielding bullets coming their way and they then ran off.
"A city filled with superheroes and I get a bunch of teenagers coming to my rescue..." Senator Eden complained and Peacemaker and Wonder Woman then gave him a look.
"You're welcome..." Peacemaker muttered as he got his grpapling hook and then hosted them up a building with Senator Eden screaming and Wonder Woman climbing up after them.
Then followed them there was Sportsmaster and Tigress; "We were hoping a couple of stupid goody good superheroes would show up and we were waiting for them... After our daughter's disappointment last afternoon; I need to show how to actually kill one of them!" Sportsmaster said getting out a metal bat and grenades that he threw up and started swinging them like baseballs right at Peacemaker and Wonder Woman and they got out of the way.
"Your daughter? That was her and you are using her to be criminals like you? Someone get this man a 'father of the year' mug pronto!" Peacemarker snarked sarcastically as he had to push Senator Eden out of the way.
Tigress then then attached Peacemaker with clawed gloves that he defend himself with his shield; "We are making her strong and showing her that nice guys finish last; there is no reward in your lifestyle..." Tigress told him as Wonder Woman then tackled her and Huntress was able to fight back well but Wonder Woman soon overpowered her and threw her back.
"The satisfaction of knowing that we did the right thing is reward enough!" Wonder Woman retorted as Sportsmaster lunged at Peacemaker and he responded by bashing his masked head with his shield and he managed to rip it off. He had a look of shock as he saw the glaring face of the villain and said "wait... Coach Crock?"
"Well; this is a surprise... It looks like you were or are one of my students..." Sportsmaster said and Peacemaker was ready to smack himself in the head for that slip as Sportsmaster went to tackle him. "Let's see what you have learned from my training..." Sportsmaster said as Peacemaker managed to dodge his baseball bat attacks and he kept on dodging at great speed and kicked him back as Wonder Woman got out her sword and managed to cut the bat in half with a swing.
This distracted Sports master enough for a strong punch to knock him out; Tigress then got up and went to tackle them only to get knocked out with Peacemaker bashing his shield on her head. Wonder Woman then tied them up with her lasso and Peacemaker got Senator Eden and took them to the ground where the other criminals were rounded up by the Super Friends and authorities came to collect them.
"I am sorry that our dinner had been interrupted Senator Eden but it looks like I get to see you Super Friends in person for the first time." said a stern voice as the government agents then went to take Senator Eden into custody. Then the General came into view and Senator Eden then nodded at him before leaving; "Allow me to introduce myself... I am the General." the General introduced himself and Peacemaker thought about it and his eyes widened.
"Hold on a second... Sivana said... You run ARGUS!" Peacemaker then retorted and this got the Super Friends surprised and glaring at him.
"I must thank you in person for taking care of him and Schott for us; I believe that Agent Lockwood explained to you that we have the best intentions and are here to help. Metallo was meant to gauge your skills; trust me when I say that if Metallo was trying to kill you all then you would not be here right now." the General said as Supergirl scoffed and stepped forward.
"Do you have any more Metallos there because I would be more than happy to smash them and prove your smug face wrong!" ranted Supergirl as Limelight kept her back.
"If you say so but Project 7734 needs to be saved for when we find anyone not so friendly from your old home. Our organisation will be seeing you soon Super Friends." the General said as he then left.
"ARGUS still has a long way to go before we can trust their word..." Batgirl then stated and they all nodded before leaving.
The group gathered together in front of Metropolis High and Barbara was showing them a copy of the Daily Planet that talked about Artemis' parents being arrested for trying to assassinate a US Senator and Artemis had gone missing when they went to collect her from the Crocks home. "If it wasn't bad enough that Coach Crock was putting Artemis through this much pressure but he and his wife were training her to be a villain and now she has run away... I can only hope that she is well..." Diana stated with a sad sigh as they all frowned at the news as well.
Artemis had gathered all the stuff from her home and went through an emergency getaway tunnel when her parents' computer gave an alarm saying that the authorities had caught her parents. It was a backup plan and now Artemis will go missing and now she will have to take a new identity that her parents' criminal contacts set up for her in case they would end up being caught. Evelyn Sharp an emancipated teenager with a fresh start.
The back up home was like her old place and it had a training area; she dressed herself in her Tigress uniform and glared at a photo of the Super Friends as she go the news that they caught her parents. "Mum... Dad... All I ever wanted was to make you proud but these heroes have taken you away from me... I will make you proud by eliminating them and gaining vengeance for our family... The Tigress promises this..." 'Evelyn Sharp' swore with a glare as she got a crossbow and went to work practicing on some targets.
This is a mix of Artemis as you may know her and the original villain Tigress that was transformed into the version used in Young Justice. Evelyn Sharp was the name of the version of Artemis used in Arrow. Plus Senator Eden cane from the Charlton Comics as the father of the original version of Nightshade (the inspiration of Silk Spectre from Watchmen). Plus those that saw the new TV Loud House movie No Time to Spy; I will say for now that we might see villains from there and Myrtle's spy past may come up in this story.
