"Yes Mum... I will keep an eye out and stay out of trouble... Yes; I know what I am doing... I will keep away from anything bad or suspicious... I will call if something happens... We are just coming up now... I know... Thank you... I love you too..." Lincoln was saying with a big sigh as he was driving the family van while his phone was on the call with his mother while lying down so he could drive. Right next to him in the passenger's seat was an ecstatic Barbara who was about to burst with excitement.

"This is gonna be so cool; my first Gotham Con since moving to Metropolis and I get to introduce one of my new friends to my old friends and the city that I love so much!" Barbara squealed as Lincoln nodded with a smile as the call ended with his mother as they crossed the bridge and saw the entering Gotham sign. Lincoln looked to his GPS to take him to the Gotham convention centre.

Barbara had gotten 2 tickets to Gotham Con; the annual convention to Gotham's heroes and vigilantes and she had convinced Lincoln to come with her as the other one in their friend group who was into superheroes.

"You know Lincoln; this convention was pretty much my origin story... I didn't intend to be Batgirl; I made my suit for a costume contest 2 years and I wanted to surprise everyone including my friends with my super awesome super cool suit and gadgets but there was Kill Moth... Blending in as a cosplayer as he stole the funds of the conventions and I managed to use his my self defence and acrobatics training to take him down after I changed into my suit and found him... The news called me the Batgirl and I decided to do it for real..." Barbara then explained to Lincoln who looked intrigued.

"Really Babs; wow... It looks like you had better luck with hero conventions than me..." Lincoln said as he took in the gothic architecture of the city and the dead bodies and crime scenes that littered the ground. He frowned and remembered how his dad took the shortest route possible to go through the city and make it to the bridge when they were moving to Metropolis.

"Gotham hasn't changed one bit; hardly feels like I left at all!" Barbara squealed as she looked out the open window excitedly like a dog in a car ride. Lincoln took in the dark sense that the city was giving him and felt that Lucy would feel at home there. Soon they ended up finding the convention centre and the parking lot there.

The went out and Lincoln turned on the car alarm as he noticed a sign; "By parking here; you acknowledge that the convention centre is not responsible for the likely event that your vehicle gets stolen, broken into or vandalised... I don't think that they were being sarcastic or jokey about this..." Lincoln read and sighed and then a blonde haired girl in pigtails and a red and blue patterned jacket and shorts then jumping at Barbara as they did some sort of friendship greeting.

"Babsy Wabsy! I missed you so much!" the girl told Barbara as they embraced and then jumped on the spot with their hands touching.

"Harleen; I missed you more... Harleen this is my friend Lincoln from Metropolis and Lincon this is Harleen my bestest friend from Gotham!" Barbara introduced them as she had her arm around Harleen's neck as Lincoln took this in.

"I suddenly realise what everyone saw when they saw me and Clyde together... Well nice to meet you Harleen..." Lincoln then greeted as Harleen then took Lincoln's hand and shook it vigerously.

"Nice white hair and good to meet a member of Babs' new crew that she told me all about! I wish she could have told me more about you!" Harleen then told him before letting him and Lincoln picked himself up. "Well here is the rest of our Gotham crew here!" Harleen then said as there was a boy with a V for Vendetta shirt, a boy in streets clothes with a red hooded jacket and a redheaded girl with baggy clothes; glasses and a winter hat. "Lincoln meet Lonnie, Jason and off course the best girlfriend in the whole wide world... Pam!" Harleen then introduced them and they waved to eachother and Harleen put an arm around the neck of the girl who sighed good naturedly.

"Pamela please as I only like Harleen calling me 'Pam'. She has been excited for Babs coming back here and bringing along a friend and maybe at some point we can catch up and you can tell us about yourselves." the girl then clarified and held out a hand for Lincoln to shake and and he smiled back to her and them.

"Nice to meet you all and shall we go in?" Lincoln asked and they then went to the entrance and found several police officers at the door. "What's going on here?" Lincoln asked as he was confused and everyone else started snickering making him confused.

"You really are a Gotham newb? Conventions are pretty much required to have the GCPD act as security force and they do that a lot for events here in Gotham." Jason explained as they got to the door and an officer in a longcoat noticed them and came over.

"Well look who it is..." Harvey Bullock then said as the others but Lincoln took a step back but Barbara went to embrace him; Lincoln was just thinking that he looked like the stereotypically grizzled old veteran noir detective who doesn't play by the rules.

"Uncle Harv! I missed you so much! Dad has been telling me what you have been telling him about being the new commissioner here!" Barbara squealed and then pointed to Lincoln. "This is my friend from Metropolis, Lincoln and Lincoln, this is my honorary uncle Harv or Commissioner Harvey Bullock who was my dad's number 2 guy!" Lincoln said as Bullock rounded on Lincoln.

"Hold on a sec... You're that boy that Babs has befriended who was at that sleepover that she had... You haven't been taking advantage of her huh?" Bullock demanded as Lincoln gulped and shook his head. "You better not..." Bullock warned as they went through.

"Trust me Uncle Harv; Lincoln is a sweetie and especially to the 2 girlfriends he does have... That includes Zee in our group and if you can believe it... Those 2 were worse at hiding that they were in love with eachother than even Harleen and Pamela before they confessed..." Barbara then said as Lincoln went red as Pamela sighed.

"I find that hard to believe..." Lonnie said shaking his head as they got in after showing their tickets and saw a bunch of Batman posters on the ground and stuff on display.

"Take a good look Lincoln; the GCPD allows confiscated evidence to be stored here as the money made on the convention goes to charity..." Barbara said as she took them to a display of the first Batarang found by the GCPD along with a staff owned by the Riddler and an armed gauntlet with a scythe blade owned by the killer vigilante the Reaper who was the costumed crimefighter of Gotham before Batman.

"There it is! The original Jokermobile!" Harleen squealed pointing to a van painted dark purple with smiling lips painted on it as well. "Plus; one of his suits..." Harleen then said pointing to a dark purple suit in a display case as well.

"Harleen for some reason really likes the Joker..." Jason explained to Lincoln with a sigh as Lincoln frowned as he knew that real life criminals and murderers had fans for some dark reason but to idolise someone like the Joker.

"Don't be like that Lincoln; let's go and explore the convention! There's panels, guests of costumed heroes and paroled villains and comics for sale..." Barbara then said taking Lincoln's arm away as they went their separate ways and Harleen then took Pamela aside to a nearby closet.

"So..." Harleen asked opening up her backpack to reveal a black and dark red harlequin outfit along with facepaint and Pamela nodded as her skin then turned green and unbuttoning her shirt showed the dark green leaf like outfit she had underneath.

"I will make the distraction and you can steal what you want Harley dear..." Pamela then told her and Harley grinned and laughed.

"...Your outfit has actual souls in it that is working with you for redemption... That is so creepy and awesome at the same time..." Lincoln muttered in awe at the stand where there was Ragman the protector of Gotham's poorer districts who was also collecting donations for it as well; wearing an outfit made of rags that included a mask and a hooded cape. Ragman nodded and Lincoln got his autograph and the next was for a villain wearing a green suit, a mask that showed his eyes and mouth and a kite like glider on his back. "You're... Kite-Man..." Lincoln asked disbelief as the man looked mighty proud of his name and gimmick.

"Hell yeah!" Kite Man replied as he gave his autograph into Lincoln's book and he saw the names collected so far which included the villains the Condiment King, the Bookworm, Baby Doll and he also got the autograph of actor Simon Trent there in costume as his famous role of the Gray Ghost the TV series throwback of masked pulp heroes and the man even teamed up with Batman himself to take down a toy collector who was imitating a villain form the show who was using explosives in remote controlled toy cars.

"Isn't this great Lincoln? The Gray Ghost was here and so many cool heroes and so much stuff here!" Barbara then told Lincoln and he nodded as they looked at stuff they got.

"The Gray Ghost? The errors I found in that show could fill a book..." scoffed a voice and Lincoln groaned as he turned around and found Kyle there with a bag off his own.

"Isn't that the annoying loser who goes to the store you work at Lincoln?" Barbara asked Lincoln and he nodded and Kyle then showed off a box with a freaking looking doll as a picture. "Would a loser have this to show off to the losers trading at these conventions; that they wouldn't have anything as valuable as this or couldn't hope to try and trade for it... A first edition vintage never left it's box Telecrummies doll! Highly valuable and collectable!" Kyle smugly said as Lincoln stared unimpressed as Barbara nudged Lincoln with her elbow.

"If it hasn't been opened then how do you know that there is even anything in there?" Barbara asked as Kyle glared at her and then opened up the box and took the doll there. Barbara and Lincoln looked at his smug face and started laughing.

Kyle's confusion went to shock as he looked at the doll and box and started going to his knees and crying. Lincoln and Barbara walked away but noticed some of the GCPD security being called away and went to follow at a distance.

Through a door they then saw at a nearby park there was a big plant monster; "That can only be one fiend... The nature vixen known as Poison Ivy and now she is to be reacquainted with Batgirl!" Barbara then said seriously as Lincoln then looked at her and smirked.

"Why not... when else am I gonna have the chance to fight a Gotham villain?" Lincoln then told her.

Pamela as Poison Ivy was having a giant plant monster attack the police officers but homemade Batarangs went through the vines as grappled in were Batgirl and Peacemaker. Batgirl? You're back in Gotham... Oh; I see that you brought one of your new Super Friends from Metropolis... The one that literally fights for peace..." Ivy then said jumping up in surprise as Batgirl then began running up the plant and throwing her Batarangs as Peacemaker then followed and used his shield to bash at the vines.

"I love conventions Ivy but I have enough time to finally send you to juvie!" Batgirl then retorted and then the plant's Audrey II like Venus flytrap head then caught Peacemaker and Batgirl then yelled out for him. Peacemaker then jumped out as he used his shield to rip the head open from the inside killing the plant and he .

"What... Frank... FRANK? Frank my baby; I spent months raising you and taking care of you..." Ivy cried out in shock as she landed on the planet's remains and check on it; she then looked at Peacemaker in rage as he looked taken aback.

"You take plants seriously..." Peacemaker muttered as then there was a scream and Harleen came out in her suit and white makeup with black eyeliner with a mallet.

"Harley Quinn my nemesis!" Batgirl then said staring off with Harley who looked thunderous.

"You have a lot of nerve coming back here after what you put me through... I committed my awesome crimes and you didn't show up... I found out that you were in Metropolis hanging out with a group of other goody good super losers... I was wondering if there was something wrong with me; you left me behind... Have you been fighting villains in Metropolis and found a replacement nemesis..." Harley cried out as Ivy snapped at her.

"Harley! The whole reason for this distraction was to direct all the heroes and security away so that you could steal the Jokermobile and the villain stuff but you don't even do it... Frank died for nothing!" Ivy snapped and the officers heard them and they sighed as Harley then took out some smoke bombs which helped them escape.

"They escaped... They always do that... So annoying..." Batgirl sighed as Peacemaker put a hand on her shoulder.

"Always another time..." Peacemaker assured her and she nodded as they then took their leave as the officers then took care of cleaning up the destroyed plant.

Later that afternoon the two reunited with Barbara's Gotham crew as they showed what stuff they got and Pamela had tears in her eyes that she was drying off. "Nice to meet all of you and hope we can meet again some other time like if you want to visit or we can visit again..." Lincoln then said as they smiled at him.

"Perhaps we can talk about how the modern world is a dystopia filled with corrupt untouchable individuals and the only hope is for outright anarchy." Lonnie then said as Lincoln looked taken aback.

"I missed you Lonnie; never change!" Barbara then said smiling as she then shared a hug with Harleen.

"See all later; nice meeting you all..." Lincoln said as they waved to him.

"Nice meeting you too Lincoln; you seem like a cool guy and certainly much better than another guy that I had the misfortune off running into today..." Pamela then said.

"Don't be a stranger now Babs and take care of your friend boy here!" Harleen then whispered as they started parting ways and Harleen walked with Pamela as she put her arm around her shoulder.

"How about we go to Metropolis at some point and fight those Super Friends? Get revenge on that Peacemaker guy..." whispered back Pamela gritting her teeth.

"Everything went good Dad; met a lot of cool people and got some cool stuff... We are on our ay back but just one thing..." Lincoln said calling his father on his phone while starting to drive with Barbara but the outside of the van was painted with graffiti.

Jason here is Jason Todd who was never Robin here and never will be (sorry but I am not really a big fan of him and if I am honest then he would be a 2nd at the bottom of my ranking of the Bat family members personally), Lonnie is Lonnie Machin who is known as the first Anarky. Plus for Pamela; think with the hat a version of the design of the pre-Ivy Pamela from the Batman as in the cartoon. Plus I stole a joke from the Jimmy Neutron movie in here.
