Hey guys and gals, welcome back to Pirates fury chapter 11 and this is the second part of the samurai tribute.
This is mostly going to be an original chapter except for the last fight, since I wanted to focus on the rangers' relationship to each other and them finally uniting properly as a team.
And after this chapter it's going to be one filler chapter before the season 1 finale, and when we start back up on season 2 we will finally be introducing the Silver ranger.
So with that said, let's do this thing!
After the fight
Shiba House
Third person P.O.V.
In a modern Japanese style house, we see the rangers in the living room as they explained to Lauran why they wanted to speak with them.
"So you're from another world and you need the greater power of the Samurai rangers and the rest of the rangers…so you can enter the morphing grid and find a treasure which may be able to return you home." Lauren said, looking down "That's quite the story…"
"Please, you have to believe us." Phil said, as Lauren smiled. "Don't worry I do."
"Wait, really? Why?" Adrian asked, as Lauren turned to her "My younger brother and his team met somebody else that came from another dimension, so we're already aware of people from other dimensions although I didn't expect the new rangers to be from one."
"Oh believe me, I mean look at me meeting my other self." Keila said, showing the Samurai ranger pictures of her and her alternate family.
'That person from another dimension…could she be talking about Decade?' Lucas thought before shaking his head 'Nah, it can't be, but god I hope we don't actually meet him'.
"So do you think you can give us your blessing? It will really help us." Emily asked, as Lauren thought about it.
"Well I would like to help you, I really would. But I think I should at least see if I can trust you. Because…" Lauren said, looking at the rangers "I noticed during that fight that you all could use some help, especially with your teamwork which is something all rangers should know."
The rangers sweatdropped and all had awkward looks but Lauren smiled. "So how about this you all stay here for awhile and I'll train you in the way of the Samurai and if I think you're worthy I'll let you have the power, that way you'll all be getting stronger while getting stronger."
"Yeah that makes sense." Adrian said, crossing his arms as the other rangers nodded.
"So first of all I'd like to ask, which one of you is the leader?" Lauren asked, as Lucas scratched his cheek.
"Ah well we don't really have one, we just kinda have been following the motion." Lucas explained, making Lauren nod.
"Hmm, well it might be for the best for a leader to be chosen if you're going to be fighting together for the foreseeable future." Lauren said, as the rangers looked at each other.
"Well since I'm the oldest and most skilful, I think it should be m-" "I say Lucas!" Adrian said, before being cut off by Emily as they turned to her.
"Wait…really?" Lucas blinked, as Emily nodded.
"Well you're always taking command during battle and you've been helping us all when we were having a hard time." Emily smiled.
"Yeah Emily's got a good point, you helped me out when I was worried about my mom getting kidnapped, and you taught me that little training routine that's really helped with my shooting." Keila smirked, with Phil nodding.
"You also helped me face my fears when the others were turned into those trinkets, plus out of all of us you know the most about these powers." Phil agreed, making Lucas blush.
"Wow, I didn't know you all thought so much of me." Lucas said, rubbing his head before gripping his hand and grinning "Alright! Well I guess I'll try my best as your leader!"
As he did Adrian looked at Lucas with a frown, before looking away
Chapter 11: A Samurai's Leader
The Armada has invaded, the earth has nearly been taken over and the Megaforce Rangers have lost their powers.
The only hope we have left are five stranded youths from another world with the powers of every previous power ranger in the universe.
This is the story of these five youths, as they travel through this new world so they can accomplish their United goal with their unending Fury!
They are…Power Rangers Pirates Fury
(Play In a flash from Digimon savers, lyrics by Jacob Chapman)
We see the sky ship flying through the sky, as we get several shots of the red zord including inside.
I used to dance, I used to dream, I used to say I could do anything… I only won my wounded wings.
We then see Lucas in a war zone, as images of all of the red rangers passed by him with the Pirates Fury Red overlapping with him,
So far from hope so far from home but if I overcome the status quo, maybe I'll have a place to go.
We then see Lucas on the captain's chair, with the others leaning next to him.
Maybe the sky's still open wide.
It then quickly cuts to all of them, in their ranger forms.
And somewhere inside me I have power to burn!
We then see white void with hundreds of different rangers floating around, until we see our heroes lined up.
To the future, to the sky, to feel it called just try me.
The ranger then pulled out their ranger keys, as they proceeded to transform.
It's too tempting to my souls,
We then see the rangers falling down a void of ranger keys, as we see them each reaching out for their own.
I'm too close now to lose that goal.
We see the rangers on a beach, as they fight a seemingly endless amount of X-borgs, as they all use their weapons differently.
To the rainbow to the sky to hear them call fly be me
We then see them doing one final finish causing the X-Borgs to explode.
It's too tempting to my soul…
And we then see one final shot of our heroes staring out the beach, wanting posters of them floating through the wind.
And in a flash I'll snatch that goal…

Armada ship
Third person P.O.V.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! THE PAIN! IT IS HORRIBLE!" Vekar screamed, as the X-borgs attempted to wrapping bandages around his wound.
"What do we do now? We have ships awaiting orders." Damarus said, as Matacore growled.
"That damn red ranger! Using cheap tricks like that! He's even worse than me!" Matacore scoffed. "I can't wait to destroy him."
"I may have a better idea." They heard, as Levira walked in.
"Levira? What are you talking about?" Damarus asked, as the scientist smirked. "Remember those compliance collars I had developed to control the Wild Zords."
"Yes, they were destroyed weren't they?" Matacore asked, as Levira showed her blueprints.
"I've been developing a new version of the compliance collars, one designed to fit a human as a way to have them more easily serves us without any of the talk, and I believe one of the rangers will be the perfect Guinea pig." Levira said, before laughing.
"What! But this is!" "Perfect!" Damarus yelled, before being cut off by Matacore.
"Imagine what it would be like if the rangers had to fight one of their own! This is exactly what we're looking for." Matacore said, as Levira smirked. "Then allow me to show you my work."
Damarus glared at them as they walked to her lab, but as they did we saw Argus staring out the window looking at his hand.
"Emily, no get back!"
"Why…did I freeze?" Argus said, to himself before turning around and walking off.
Flashes of memories then appeared, as we see Argus standing in what looked like a forest on an alien planet.
"Big Brother!" Argus heard, looking over to see a younger girl that looked like Emily running up to him while holding a flower crown.
"I made this for you." She said, offering the crown to him as Argus raised his hand to pat her head only to see a Human.
"What…was that…" Argus said, gripping his head "It…it must be a glitch."
As Argus walked off however we see Levira watching him with a raised eyebrow.
A few days later
Shiba House
Third person P.O.V.
"Remember, to properly face your opponent you must use instincts to predict your opponent's movements and strike when the moment is right.'' Lauren said, as we see Adrian and Phil standing across each other.
Each one of them were wielding wooden swords and wearing training Kimonos, following the strict teachings of the samurai.
Keila and Emily were next to Lauren watching the sparring session going on
"HAH!" Adrian yelled, as he swung his sword towards Phil, who blocked each strike with his sword.
"WOAH!" Phil yelled, as he rolled out of the way of Adrian's strike before he spun around and tried swinging his sword at Adrian leapt out of the way of the attack.
"Oh geez!" Phil yelled, as Adrian swung his sword towards Phil who quickly grabbed nearby Bamboo and pulled it down to block it.
"What?!" Adrian blinked, as Phil let go of the bamboo hitting Adrian in the face causing him to stumble back.
"Now is my chance!" Phil yelled, as he swung his sword at Adrian who barely blocked each strike.
"Hmph, enough!" Adrian said, before spinning around and slashing at Phil pushing him to the ground.
"Phil!" Keila and Emily yelled, running towards the downed ranger as he rubbed his head.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Phil groaned, as he moved up while Adrian rested his sword
"You focus too much on tricks, there is nothing more than distraction and that can't help you in a real fight." Adrian stated, as Keila turned to him "You don't have to be so harsh Adrian!"
"Tough love is important! Don't forget what our mission here is." Adrian said, while the others frowned at him.
'Adrian…do you think you're better than everyone?' Lauren thought, watching them 'No…it's something more…'.
"Still acting like your way's the best way?" They heard, before looking over to see Lucas walking towards them with a cup of coffee in his hand.
"Hmph, so you're finally awake?" Adrian said, crossing his arms "You're late for training."
"Yeah, sorry sorry was up all night working." Lucas yawned, rubbing his eyes.
"Working? Working on what?" Keila asked, making Lucas smirked while winking "Oh that's something secret."
"Does it have something to do with what you do with Reanu?" Emily asked, making Lucas sigh "Uh yeah, something like that."
"Hmph, not exactly the best leadership." Adrian scoffed, prompting Lucas to look over at him "You got a problem?"
"Yes, yes I do!" Adrian said, pointing at Lucas "I don't think you're fit to be leader."
"Woah! Woah! Adrian, what are you talking about?" Phil said, but Adrian ignored him.
"You spend all your time in your room, you're sloppy and you treat everything as a joke! Why does everyone else think you should be the leader? I'll never know." Adrian said, as Lucas glared at him.
"And what? Do you think you should be the leader?" Lucas said, making Adrian growl.
"Yes! I'm the oldest of all of us and the strongest! I'm the clear choice for the leader. The only thing you have is knowledge about our powers." Adrian stated, but Lauren stood up.
"That's enough!" Lauren said, walking towards the two of them "You two…all of you, are a team! You should be fighting the enemy, not each other."
"He was the one that started it." Lucas pouted, crossing his arms when Morphers began ringing.
"Rangers! I have detected the Armada attacking the city! I am on route to pick you all up now." Reanu explained.
"Alright, we'll be ready." Lucas said, before looking over at Lauren "You coming too?"
"Of course." Lauren nodded, as the group ran off to get ready.
Panorama city
Third person P.O.V.
"Come on rangers! Where the hell are you!" Matacore yelled, as he commanded the X-Borg's and Bruisers to attack the populace.
"We're right here!" He heard, before looking up to see the 6 rangers jumping down from the Sky Ship already transformed.
"Alright guys! Here's the pla-" "Don't need it!" Lucas said, only for Adrian to dash forward towards Matacore
"God damn it…okay, Emily and Phil you two get the civilians out of here before taking care of the X-Borgs, Keila support Lauren while you're taking on the Bruisers and I'll have to back up Adrian." Lucas stated, as the others nodded before splitting up.
We see Emily and Phil rushing towards the X-Borgs making their way towards the civilians while aiming their guns at them.
"I won't let you!" Emily yelled, firing her gun at the robot before slashing it down with her saber.
Another tried to attack her with its weapon but she quickly kicked it's head before twirling her bun at firing at the robot.
She then followed the attack up with her sword by slashing down a few more robots.
"Everyone! Quickly get away!" Phil said, helping the civilians get away from the attack.
Some X-Borgs tried to attack him but he quickly shot them down with his gun but the robots kept moving.
"On come on!" He said, looking around before noticing the construction equipment above them "That'll work."
Phil quickly ran towards the construction equipment while the X-Borgs chased after him while firing their guns.
When the robots were in the right place Phil used his gun to fire the equipment, as it fell on top of the grunts trapping them "Phew, that was a close one."
Emily then ran towards Phil while the robots moved towards her "Emily, we should try and change forms."
"Good idea." Emily said, as the two of them took out their keys and inserted them into their morphers.
SET SAIL! JU~~~NGLE FURY!
With a bright flash the two of them transformed into the Jungle Fury wolf and rhino ranger,
The two then rushed towards the X-Borgs, as they continued firing at the two of them.
Phil jumped up and threw several kicks at the robots, knocking their weapons out of their hands.
He then followed it with several punches and kicks sending them flying back.
With one final flurry of punches and kicks, the robots exploded as Phil landed past them.
Meanwhile we see Emily rushing in while slashing down the robots with her Rhino morpher.
Several of the robots surrounded the ranger while aiming their guns, but Emily quickly jumped into the air dodging the attacks.
She followed this up by crashing into the ground, causing a shock wave that knocked the robots into the air before she spun around slashing them all in half, causing an explosion.
Meanwhile we see Lauren as she clashed her sword against the bruisers, who caught the attack with its large arms.
Another tried firing at her but Keila used her sword in whip mode and slashed at it knocking it back.
"You okay?" Keila asked, kicking the Bruisers Lauren was fighting back as she looked over at the yellow ranger.
"Yeah thanks, it's kinda nice to have people having my back again." Lauren said, slashing the monster back "Didn't really have much of that back when I was training."
"Well looks like you got it now." Keila smirked, as she took out a new key and inserted it into her morpher.
SET SAIL! LO~~~ST GALAXY!
Her form then flashed before transforming into Lost Galaxy Yellow, before she drew her Quasarsaber.
"Huh, not bad." Lauren said, as the two of them turned to the Bruisers before the two of them rushed in.
Keila jumped up high, dodging the Bruisers as they blasted at her with their large cannon arms,
Landing behind the monster, Keila slashed at the monster several times as they turned over to her.
Meanwhile Lauren readied her sword while taking out a disk from her belt and inserted it onto the blade, and spun the disk igniting the sword in flames.
She then rushed towards the Bruisers, slashing at the monsters several times before performing a spin slash causing the robots to explode.
Lauren and Keila looked at each other, before they turned over to see the other Bruisers.
The two girls nodded at each other and moved towards the Bruisers while preparing their swords.
"Haaaaahhh!" Adrian yelled, as he swung his sword at Matacore who blocked the attack with his long sword.
"You could barely beat me with all five of you! What makes you think you could be me alone!" Matacore yelled, as he punched Adrian causing him to stumble back.
"Because last time the others were getting in my way!" Adrian scoffed, ready his weapons.
"We'll have to see about that." Matacore stated, charging up energy into his sword to slash at Adrian with.
SET SAIL! S~~~PD!
Several energy blasts were shot at Matacore, causing him to stumble back, surprising Adrian.
"Looks like you bit a bit more than you could chew huh?" Adrian heard, as he looked back to see Lucas as SPD Red walking towards him.
"I told you! I don't need your help!" Adrian said, as Lucas switched back to his normal form "Why would I need help from an idiot like you."
"Seriously dude! What is your problem with me! You've been a dick ever since I became the leader! Even before that you still acted like you hated me!" Lucas said, making Adrian growl.
"Because you treat everything like a game! You're even convincing the others to treat it like a game as well! Including my sister! I'm the only one still trying to act responsibly around here!" Adrian yelled.
"Oh yes, you're totally responsible! Only caring about Emily and treating everyone else on the team like their idiots! And beat them up acting like you're better than them!" Lucas yelled back.
As the two of them continued arguing we see Matacore getting back as he watched the two rangers before smirking as he took out the compliance collar.
"Take this!" He yelled, throwing the collar towards Adrian which was something Lucas noticed.
"LOOK OUT!" Lucas yelled, shoving Adrian out of the way as the collar wrapped around his neck.
"Ggghhh ggghhh!" Lucas said, struggling to get the collar off of him as it began flashing.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Lucas screamed, electricity coursing through his body before his body stopped moving
"Lucas! What are you doing? Snap out of it!" Adrian said, walking up to him while the other rangers turned to him as well looking worried.
"Sick him boy." Matacore simply said, as the collar around Lucas's neck flashed.
"Huh? GAH!" Adrian screamed, as he was suddenly shot several times by Lucas before he dashed towards him.
The blue ranger was then slashed repeatedly by the Red ranger's sword, before being kicked in the stomach, causing him to stumble back.
Lucas then took out his ranger key and inserted it into his sword, which charged up with red energy.
FINAL WAVE!
He then rushed in, slashing at Adrian's stomach causing him to be sent flying back to the other rangers and return to normal.
"Brother!" Emily yelled, running up to him as she and the others returned to their normal form.
"Lucas! Dude! Why did you just attack Adrian!" Keila yelled, as Phil pointed to the compliance collar "It has to be that collar! It's the same one they tried to use on the Wild Zords! It must be controlling him somehow."
"That's right, weaklings! Levira has created what we call the compliance collar to take control of your leader!" Matacore laughed. "Let's see if you can kill your own ally."
"Kevin went through something similar! We just need to break him free." Lauren said, as she looked at Emily "Take care of your brother, we'll try and free Lucas."
The rangers nodded as Lauren, Keila and Emily dashed towards Lucas as he opened his phone and inserted a key into it.
SET SAIL! A~~~QUINOBI!
With a flash Lucas switched to the Aquinobi form and rushed towards the three rangers.
As he did several masses of water raised up before transforming into copies of Lucas as they all began moving around the three rangers.
"Which one should we attack?" Keila said, as Phil gulped "I'm not sure they're all identical."
"Then we'll just need to attack them all at once!" Lauren declared, as she spun the disk in her sword causing it to be engulfed in flames before she threw the flaming attack at the clones.
However this caused them a steam explosion, blocking their vision so they wouldn't be able to find him.
"So he planned that out as well…" Lauren said, as the three rangers looked around trying to find Lucas in the steam.
SET SAIL! R~PM!
"Woah!" Phil gasped, as Lucas in his RPM form dashed towards the Green ranger and slashed at him with his weapon
Phil tried to block Lucas's attack, as he slashed at the green ranger with his large sword.
Phil shot at Lucas who blocked the attack with his sword before throwing it in the air.
"What the?!" The Green ranger blinked, as Lucas moved in and grinned his arm wheel in the ranger's shoulder.
He then raised his hand and grabbed his sword, delivering one more big slash that sent Phil flying back.
SET SAIL! WI~~~LD FORCE!
"Phil!" Keila screamed, transforming into her wild force yellow form and flew towards Lucas grabbing him and pulling him into the air.
"You! Need! To! Break! Out! Of! It!" Keila yelled, slashing at Lucas with her dagger trying to free him by breaking his collar but Lucas blacked it with his sword.
He then took out RPM Red's gun and shot at her forcing Keila to let go of Lucas so he would fall to the ground, while inserting a new key into his morpher.
SET SAIL! S~KYLINE!
Switching to his Skyline form, he dashed towards Keila as the two fought each other while flying in the sky.
"You okay?" Lauren asked, helping Phil rubbed his head "Y-Yeah, but I think I might have an idea to stop him."
"You do?" She asked, as Phil nodded as he began to explain his plan.
Meanwhile in the air we see Red and Yellow continuing to fight as their blades clashed.
Lucas pulled out his gun and fired at Keila who took out her weapon and blocked the blasts with her dagger and slashed him.
Lucas crashed to the ground and soon got back up, but as he did Phil ran towards him.
SET SAIL! MY~~~STIC FORCE!
"GREEN GROUND!" Phil said, pointing his wand at the ground causing Vines to wrap around his body.
"DO IT!" Phil yelled, as Lauren moved in while spinning her disk causing her sword to be engulfed in flames.
Before Lauren could attack Lucas, an energy slash was thrown at Lauren forcing her to leap back as they looked over at Matacore.
"Alright! That should be good enough now! I say we should present you to the Prince." Matacore said, walking up to Lucas and grabbing his shoulder before they teleported away, leaving the rangers to just sit there and watch as their leader was taken away.
Armada Ship
Third person P.O.V.
"Wahahahahahahahahahaha! Finally! I have gotten revenge on this bastard for humiliating us!" Vekar declared, as he looked over at Lucas who was still transformed.
"You must have felt good when you teleported into our ships and shot our only ship combat X-Borg!" Vekar said, as Lucas nodded.
"Yes…it did…" Lucas said, his voice robotic with absolutely no emotion in it "It felt good showing up a Dumbass like you."
"WHAT WAS THAT!" Vekar yelled, making Levira and even Damarus snicker.
"Levira, why is he still speaking in that manner to the Prince?" Matacore asked, making Levira smirk as she walked forward.
"The collar makes the wearer listen to anything they are told to do by the person who placed it on them, that includes any question that is asked." Levira explained.
"I suppose that is fair enough, it will definitely be useful for the army." Matacore said, as Vekar nodded "Definitely! We'll need to make more! Father will definitely be impressed with this."
"Sir! I truly don't think this is a good idea! These compliance collars are too risky!" Damarus said, as Vekar looked away "Oh shut it if it works it works."
"Now Levira, begin development on the collars for the rest of the rangers." Vekar said walking off with Matacore following him.
"Yes, my Prince." Levira bowed, making her way towards her lab as Damarus growled.
"The Prince…he won't listen to me…using the collars on the populace if going too far! We're taking away their freedom…I can't allow the development to continue." Damarus said, as he walked off leaving only Argus.
Argus stared at Lucas who was still as frozen as a statue.
Flashes of memories continued to course through Argus's mind of Emily as he made his way towards Lucas.
"I want you to tell me… who is the Pink Ranger of your team…who is this Emily." Argus said, as Lucas looked at him
"Emily Powers…she is Adrian's little sister…they are from a very rich family but Emily grew up very sick and frail…so she didn't experience a lot…that is why she is happy to be travelling with us…she gets to grow and experience so many things…" Lucas explained, and as he did Argus gripped his head.
More and more memories flashed through Argus's mind, as he began remembering more and more things before he joined the Armada.
"You…you know so much about us…about the Armada…who am I…no…WHO WAS I!" Argus screamed, shaking Lucas's shoulder.
"My best guess is…you are a cyborg…" Lucas said, making Argus's eyes widen as he then looked at his hand metallic, taking in the information.
"You are saying you have memories of a life you do not remember…my best guess is…you once had a life…but were taken…and reformatted as a cyborg." Lucas said, as Argus gripped his hand and punched the wall next to him.
"Brother!"
"You're right…I had a Life…before this…" He said, watching his metallic hand "I can't get it back…ever again… But I can get revenge…."
Argus then began messing around with the compliance collar around Lucas's neck, but as he did the scene moved back.
This revealed Levira who watched her creation disobeying her, as she frowned at the video.
Shiba House
Third Person P.O.V.
We see the rangers in the living room of the house, most of them nervous about Lucas' wearabouts.
"Lucas, please be safe." Emily said quietly while looking out of the window before being approached by Keila who put her hand on her shoulder.
"He'll be safe, we'll rescue him." Keila said
"Yeah, we'll rescue him from the problem he put himself through. Some leader he is." Adrian said antagonistically, making the other glare at him.
"He's like that because he saved you. Be grateful he was there." Keila said sternly.
"He didn't need to be there. I had it all under control." Adrian said in a slightly arrogant tone making his sister frown.
"Brother, why are you acting like this?" Emily said, with Phil nodding "Yeah! He hasn't done anything to you."
"He's not fit to be leader, he's sloppy and takes things too lightly. I on the other hand would do a better job at being a leader, I have a better use of weapons and have a better ability when it comes to fighting-" "Wait…is this because we elected Lucas as our leader and not you?" Emily asked, interrupting her brother in the middle of his rant.
"Yeah. You'e just sour because of that?" Phil said after her "Adrian, we decided on Lucas being the leader a long time ago."
"What!" Adrian said, his eyes widened "Why! Why would you pick him!"
"Because unlike you he actually gives a shit about us! He helped me calm down when I was scared of mom getting kidnapped!" Keila said, with Phil nodding.
"Yeah, he helped get me when I was too scared of fighting the monster back in Briar wood." Phil explained.
"He even helped me calm worries when I was scared that you were pushing yourself too far." Emily said, as Adrian looked at her.
"I get your worries about me…but that's the exact reason why you shouldn't be the leader! Or any of us! Lucas isn't just worried about one person, he cares about all of us!" Emily stated, as Adrian stood back.
"I-I…" Adrian said, gripping his hand before turning around and walking back.
As he did we see Lauren walking in front of him much to his surprise "What do you want?"
"Seems like you still haven't accepted being a part of a team." Lauren said, making Adrian blink "The complete opposite of what I went through…"
"What do you mean?" He asked, as Lauren crossed her arms.
"A few years ago…I was separated from my brother, it was his job to take my place as the Red Ranger and lead the team while I had to spend all my time training, and learning a powerful sealing art to defeat our enemy." Lauren explained.
"So… you were basically cheated out of a proper childhood." Adrian said, with Lauren "Yeah, and it wasn't easy for my team either."
"There can't be two Red Rangers at the same time…so my brother left, leaving me in charge… My team couldn't accept that…they were constantly worried about Jayden…and couldn't accept me as the leader…and it felt horrible…like I'd never be good enough to be their leader…" Lauren said, looking up at Adrian.
"You may think you're supposed to be the leader… but all you do is think about yourself…try thinking about what situation this put Lucas in before you start saying you should be the leader." Lauren said, before walking off as Adrian looked down before his morpher began ringing.
"Ranger Blue…I wish to show you something that may help with your predicament right now." Reanu said, making Adrian raise an eyebrow.
A few minutes later we see Adrian back at the Sky Ship as he makes his way towards Lucas's room.
"Why did you want me to go to Lucas's room?" Adrian asked, as the A.I. beeped "Because this is something Ranger Red should have shown you and the rangers sooner."
"Hah…alright…fine." Adrian said, opening the door only for his eyes to widen at what he saw.
All across Lucas's room had notes and papers with ranger information as well as different strategies, some being crumbled up and others being placed on the wall.
"What…what is all of this…" Adrian said, looking around the room.
"Ever since you Rangers started staying on the trip Ranger Red and I have been working together, so that Ranger Red can learn about the abilities of the legendary ranger forms and how to properly use them in combat." Reanu explained, as Adrian looked around the room.
"He's been doing this ever since we came to this world…" Adrian said, looking around the room "Why didn't he tell us?"
"Because Ranger Red felt like he had to put the burden of it all to him alone." Reanu explained, as Adrian looked at her "Burden?"
"I…I don't…I don't know if I can do it."
"Huh?" Adrian blinked, following the sound of Lucas's voice as he walked into the living room and saw the large tv showing an image of Lucas in his room.
"Is something wrong…Ranger Red." Reanu on the Screen asked, as Lucas sighed.
"It's nothing… Reanu…it's…It's just…I'm scared…" Lucas said, making Adrian's eyes widened.
"Why are you scared?" Reanu asked, not understanding the emotion as Lucas looked up.
"Why wouldn't I be! We're in this new world and I'm the only one who really knows what we're in for…and what we'll have to deal with."
"I'm scared…I'm going to screw up…even with these plans we're going to face lots of powerful opponents…Kiaido…Zatsurig…Zaien… if my plans aren't perfect even by a little bit…we could all die…that's why I'm scared…of failing them…all of them…"
"Ranger Red…it is going to be alright…" Lucas heard, as he looked up at Reanu's voice "Huh?"
"All of you were chosen to be rangers for a reason…Emily is that keeps you together…Phil is the knowledge that helps you understand the way…Keila is the drive that keeps you all going…Adrian is the strength that keeps you growing…and you are the Captain that will lead them to victory, you just need to believe in yourself."
"Thank you Reanu…I needed that…but please don't tell the others…I don't want them to be burdened…it'll be better for everyone if they can find enjoyment in all of this."
The screen then turned off as we see Adrian looking down as he took in all of this information.
"You idiot… With that dedication you could never be a burden to us…" Adrian said to himself with a small tear drop running down his cheek. "I gotta fix this with him, but first…"
A few minutes later, Adrian made his way back to the Shiba House and walked back to the living room with his teammates there. "Hey, guys."
"What?" Keila said, still a little angry at him.
At this Adrian gulped, not finding it easy to apologise. "I was gonna say that-" "Rangers! Matacore and Lucas appeared in the city, they're causing mayhem!"
"Lucas!" All rangers said in word including Adrian, something that Emily took notice of. Keila then started walking away from the house. "We have to go!"
"Yeah!" "We're coming for you Lucas!" The others said before walking out.
"Guys, wa-" Adrian said before being stopped by Lauren. "Your teammate is in trouble, are you gonna save him right away?"
"No, I wanna save him, but I gotta apologise to the guys first." Adrian said, earning him a smile from Lauren.
"That's what a true teammate thinks, good answer." Lauren said before lifting her sword. "Actions speak better than words, but I still expect a verbal apology."
"Don't worry, they'll get it." Adrian said as he walked away before turning back towards Lauren. "Can you please help me in saving my friends, a red ranger would be useful for this."
"Now you're talking, let's go!" Lauren said before the two of them walked out of the house.
'Just hang on Lucas, we're all coming.' Adrian thought.
Streets
Third Person P.O.V.
In the middle of a construction area we see Keila, Phil and Emily already morphed as they took on the X Borgs and Bruisers.
"Hah! Try some of this!" Emily yelled, as she switched her saber to whip mode and slashed through the X-borgs as they attempted to fire at her.
She then jumped over some barrels before wrapping her blade whip around some construction equipment, allowing her to swing while firing at the robots.
"Woah! Woah!" Phil yelled, as he ran away from the X-borgs who were firing at him while he tried firing back with his gun.
"Come on! There has to be something I can use…AH! There!" Phil said, noticing some barrels and making his way towards them before pushing them towards the robots.
"And now how about this!" He said, inserting two keys into his pistols before aiming at the barrels.
FINAL WAVE!
Phil then fired the blasters causing the barrels to explode, killing the X-Borgs as Phil sighed with relief.
"HAAAAAH!" Keila said, as she ran towards the X-Borgs with her two Swords before combining them into a Naganita like mode.
She slashed through the X-Borgs as they attempted to fire at her, and when they did manage she spun her blade around deflecting the blasts.
Several blasts were then shot in front of Keila as she looked up to see Captain Red walking towards her with Matacore next to him.
"Lucas…" Keila said, looking at her friend as Matacore laughed.
"Oh, don't worry! You'll be joining him shortly!" Matacore said, showing off a few more compliance collars before snapping his finger "Get em boy!"
Captain Red dashed towards Keila as she got ready to fight but she could, Adrian, who was already morphed, jumped in and blocked the attack much to Keila's surprise "ADRIAN?!"
"WHAT!" Matacore yelled, before Lauren moved in and slashed the compliance collars cutting them half much to his shock "You bitch!"
"I'll keep him busy! Focus on getting your friend back!" Lauren said, as she readied her sword and began battling Matacore.
"Keila listen…" Adrian said, looking back at the Yellow ranger "I know I can't just take back what I said…so let me show you through my actions, I am sorry…Lucas is the leader we need."
Keila was surprised at Adrians sudden heel turn as she raised her eyebrow "Ooookay?… But we are talking about this."
"I wouldn't expect anything else." Adrian said, watching as Keila ran back to continue fighting the X-Borgs.
Adrian then turned back to Lucas as he silently raised his sword with Adrian doing the same 'I'll have to match him as best I can until I find my opening'.
The two of them dashed towards one another, blasting their guns at each others causing small explosions next to them.
They then moved in close, blades clashing as Adrian tried to get the right moment to destroy the collar.
"Hah!" Adrian shouted, kicking Reds sword out of his hand before catching it while dropping his gun before he slashed Captain Red sending him flying back
As Red was sent flying back, he quickly took out a key before inserting it into his morpher causing a bright flash…
SET SAIL! JUNGLE FURY!
With a bright flash the Red Jungle Fury while coming to a stop with his collar sparking a bit, he then got on all floors while dashing towards Adrian who got ready.
Red moved up throwing a slash at Adrain who blocked the attack, but this was a distraction allowing Red to take out his Nunchucks and use it to knock Adrains weapons out of his hands before kicking him back.
"Gonna need more fire power!" Adrian said, as he inserted a new key into his morpher changing his form.
SET SAIL! MEGAFORCE!
Taking out his bow gun the blue ranger began firing at Captain Red as he dodged the attacks.
Meanwhile we see Keila fighting the X-Borgs as they move into an abandoned building "Looks like I'll need to change things up!"
SET SAIL! SUPERSONIC!
"How do you like my Melody whip!" Keila said, taking out her whip she used on the X-Borgs knocking them to the ground.
She then used a Kung Fu like reflex to move out of the way of X-Borgs shots causing them to kill the other X-Borgs.
" Let's try matching the fire power!" She said, inserting another key into her morpher to switch forms again.
SET SAIL! IN SPACE!
"Okay, how about my new…Slingshot." She said, as she looked at her weapon before moving out of the way from their attacks.
She then followed the attacks with the slingshot by firing energy blasts at the X-Borgs causing them to explode "Okay, yeah Slingshots I can take that."
She then continued firing at the X-Borgs with shots from her slingshot-like weapon before switching powers again.
SET SAIL! DINO THUNDER!
Taking out her daggers she looked up at the X-Borgs firing at her from above before she jumped towards them.
SET SAIL! RPM!
We moved back to Adrian as he took back his cannon and began firing at Captain Red in his Ninja Storm form as he jumped down towards him with his collar continuing to spark.
Using the Ninja speed to dodge Adrian blasts as he got closer and closer before moving in and slashing Adrians stomach with his sword causing him to skid back.
Red then took out a bird themed gun and aimed it at Adrian as he switched his forms again.
SET SAIL! SPD!
Red then fired as Adrain changed his form before creating a barrier to block the attacks, and moving in to kick Red in the face knocking him back.
Red rolled back a bit, as he took out a key and inserted it into his morpher as he got back up.
SET SAIL! MIGHTY MORPHIN!
Taking out his Power Sword while his collar sparked even more, Red dashed towards Adrian as he raised another barrier, with Red continuing to slash at the barrier, with more and more cracks appearing on it.
We then see several X-Borgs getting slashed down by several blurs, causing them to explode.
"Hehe, man this one is really useful." Phil said, in his Turbo Green form as he looked over at more X-Borgs before inserting a key into his morpher.
SET SAIL! ZEO!
Now transformed into his Zeo Green form he ran towards the X-Borgs as they began firing at him.
"Woah! Eep! Ah!" Phil said, barely dodging the attacks before he used his axe to slash at the X-Borgs knocking the back before throwing one more punch sending them down the hill.
"And one more should do it!" Green said, inserting another key his morpher switched his form.
SET SAIL! OPERATION OVERDRIVE!
"Sonic Hammer!" Phil then took out his hammer, before swinging down at the ground creating a large amount of vibrations.
These vibrations caused a small quake that made the collected piles of dirt fall on top of the downed X-Borgs trapping and destroying them.
"HA!" Emily yelled, as her weapon clashed with a few of the X-Borgs before moving back.
The X-Borgs then began firing at her, while Emily jumped back as she changed her form.
SET SAIL! FLASH PRISM!
Switching to her Flam Prism Pink form we see Emily throwing several kicks towards the X-Borgs and knocking them back.
"Prims Shooter!" Emily said, firing at the robots which stunned them before she switched the weapon to a sword and shield which she used to slash them down.
SET SAIL! TIME FORCE!
Changing once again to her Time Force Pink form, Emily took out her twin swords while the X-Borg surrounded her.
"Chrono Saber! Double Strike!" Emily stated, as she jumped into the air dodging the X-Borgs blasts.
Emily raised her two swords, the one to the left going up while her sword in her right hand pointed to the ground as they both charged with energy.
She then swung down ward, sending an energy wave that destroyed all of the X-Borgs surrounding her.
Meanwhile Lauren was holding her ground with Matacore using her training and fast movements to overwhelm the chimaera.
"Damn you Ranger!" Matacore said before charging up energy and using his sword to send an energy wave towards Lauren.
However Lauren spun the disk on her sword transforming it into the Fire smasher then using it to stop the attack. Then she spun it again before releasing a volley of fire coated slashes at Matacore pushing him back.
"Damn you! Why won't you go down." Matacore yelled as he took a fighting stance and dashed towards her.
"As a Samurai and a Ranger it is my duty to defend this world and the people living in it from fiends like you!" Lauren said before rushing in as well, both swords colliding.
Matacore then raised his sword before striking the ground and swung it about creating a dust cloud that covered him, Lauren averted her eyes and when she looked back the monster was gone.
"What! Where did he go!" Lauren said, looking around only to feel an impact from her side as she was sent flying back by Matacore attacking her from her blind side.
"A Samurai may be honourable, but you need to learn to fight dirty." Matacore scoffed, as he made his way towards Lauren
Back with Captain Red and Adrian, we see the Blue Ranger continue to create barriers while firing at Red as he continues using the power sword to destroy the barrier.
Red delivered another powerful slash to shatter Adrains barrier, but before he could create another barrier Red fired at Adrian with his Blade blaster.
SET SAIL! DINO THUNDER!
"HUH? GAH!" Adrian growled, as Captain Red thrusted his staff towards Adrain with the Dino mouth biting his waist.
Red then lifted Adrian up into the air before spinning around and throwing him towards the ground forcing him back to his normal form.
Red looked towards Adrian before crossing his arms, as several sparks coursed through his body including his collar.
"SUPER DINO MODE!" He screamed, before growling as he turned his attention towards Adrian with his collar continuing to spark.
"Raaaaaahhhh!" He yelled, dashing towards Adrian ready to slash at him as he raised his arms to block the attack.
Adrian braced for impact only to feel nothing as he looked up to see Red not moving "Uh Lucas?"
"Adrian…what are we doing in a construction zone fighting?" Lucas asked, as the collar broke and fell off his neck.
Adrian looked at the coller before looking up at Lucas as he returned back to his base form "It's a long story, let's just say you were put under mind control."
"WHAT! Ah you gotta be kidding me!" Lucas growled, as Adrian got back up "I do wanna say something…sorry."
"Sorry?" Lucas blinked, as Adrian sighed "Reanu showed me your room and the amount of work and the burdens you have put on yourself to keep us safe…the others are right you are the leader that we need."
"…Thanks." Lucas said, before hearing a crash as they looked over to see Lauren being knocked towards them.
"LAUREN!" They gasped, running towards her as she returned to her normal form "Lucas?…good…you're okay…."
Lauren tried to get back up but Lucas stopped her "No you should just leave it to us, stay here and rest."
"…Alright." Lauren said, with a nod before grabbing a white disk and giving it to Lucas "But take this, it can double your power and give you the edge."
Lucas nodded, taking the disk as the two of them got up and turned their attention to Matacore as he walked towards them.
"How the hell did you break out! Levira's technology should be indestructible!" Matacore said, as Adrian crossed his arms.
"Looks like it short circuited due to the amount of form changes we had during our battle." Adrian said, making Matacore growl.
"LUCAS!" They heard, before seeing Emily, Phil and Keila making their way towards them with Emily rushing in and hugging him.
"Thank goodness you're okay." Emily said, as everyone just stared at her with Lucas looking over at Adrian who was giving him a death glare.
"Looks like you kept your promise after all." Keila said, as Adrian crossed his arms. "Of course, I keep promises and fix my mistakes."
"Um guys, he's starting to get angry." Phil said, as the rangers looked over at Matacore growling.
"Will you just shut up and fight already!" Matacore yelled, making Lucas smirk.
"Sure, I can go for some payback, guys, how about we got Samurai." Lucas said, with the others nodding as they took out their morphers and keys before inserting the keys into their morphers changing their form to Power Rangers Samurai.
SET~~~ SAIL! SAMURAI!
"Samurai Ranger Red! Lucas Taylor! Ready!" Lucas said, pulling out his spin sword and sliding his hand off it like a sheath.
"Samurai Ranger Blue! Adrian Powers! Ready!" Adrian said, pulling out his spin sword and swinging it.
"Samurai Ranger Yellow! Keila Robins! Ready!" Keila said, tapping her spin sword on her shoulder.
"Samurai Ranger Green! Phil Smith! Ready!" Phil yelled, gripping his spin sword with both hands.
"Samurai Ranger Pink! Emily Powers! Ready!" Emily said, swinging her spin sword gracefully.
Lucas then raised his sword as he moved his hand down it "We are the Samurai Rangers authorised by providence!"
"POWER RANGERS! SAMURAI!"
(Play Samurai Sentai Shinkenger Theme)
Now transformed, the five Samurai rangers rushed towards Matacore as he brandished his sword ready to fight.
Matacore charged in swinging his sword which was met by Lucas who blocked the attack with his Spin sword.
This gave an opening that allowed Adrian to move in and give a powerful slash to Matacore's side causing him to stumble back.
This was then followed by both Keila and Emily who simultaneously slashed Matacore which he could barely back.
Phil attempted to slash Matacore as well but this time Matacore caught the attack.
Emily tried to help him by slashing Matacore as well but he blocked the attack with his sword, however Keila still moved and thrusted her sword forward knocking Matacore back.
This was then followed by a dual slash from Lucas and Emily with Matacore blocking the attack before sending an energy slash that knocked the two back.
Phil then moved in to try slashing Matacore several times, but the monster batted the Green Ranger back with Phil giving a slash to Matacores legs as he was knocked back.
"Looks like we'll need a power up." Lucas said, as he transformed his Spin Sword into the large Fire Smasher before he loaded it with the white disk, causing a second Fire Smasher to manifest.
"Firesmasher! Dual WildFire slash!" Lucas declared, moving towards Matacore with both weapons.
Matacore responded to this by throwing an energy slash but Lucas jumped and flipped sideways as the Smashers powered up with fire before he slashed them both at Matacore sending him flying back.
Lucas landed next to Adrian as he took off the disk "Here I think this'll be more your style."
"Hmph, thanks I'll put this to good use." Adrian said, inserting the disk and spinning it which summoned a second Spin Sword.
"You little!" Matacore yelled, as Adrian jumped into the air with Matacore following him, the two of them slashing each in mid air, with Adrian delivering one more strike as he was pushed back to the ground with Matacore growling.
"How… How are you suddenly so much more powerful!?" He yelled, as the rangers regrouped while returning to their base form.
"Let me just spell it out to ya! Your little trick just brought us closer together!" Lucas declared, punching his fist.
"Now let's wrap things up." Lucas said, and the others nodded as they took out their ranger keys and inserted them into their swords and guns.
FINAL~~~ WAVE!
Energy charged up into their weapon before they each sent an energy slash at the monster followed by an energy bullet.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He screamed, as both attacks combined into multiple powerful attacks which flew towards before making contact causing a small explosion killing him.
"This! This can't be happening!" Vekar yelled, watching the screen "Levira! It was you device that messed this up! Do something!"
"With pleasure." Levira said, typing into a computer which sent a laser blaster towards the planet.
"YES! That's much better!" Matacore yelled, growing in size as he made his way towards the city.
"Guess it's time to call for backup." Lucas said, as the rangers looked up at the giant before turning back.
"Lauren, you should- huh?" Lucas blinked, now seeing that Lauren was gone much to their confusion.
"She must have left while we were fighting." Keila said, with Adrian nodding. "She can take care of herself, we need to do our job."
"Yeah, good idea! Come on Reanu! We need ya to pick us up!" Lucas said, as they saw the ship moving their way.
City
Third person P.O.V.
"Come on! Where are you rangers! Come out already!" Matacore roared, as he rampaged through the city destroying buildings while people fled.
"Complete! Wild Cruise Megazord!" The rangers declared, as Matacore looked over to see the Wild Cruise Megazord making its way towards him.
"HAH! Finally you're here!" Matacore said, as he readied his sword before rushing towards them as the megazord came rushing towards him.
"LET'S GO! WILD FORCE PRIMAL ROAR!" They yelled, as the red lion fired a beam at Matacore who raised his sword deflecting the beam right towards them.
"Gah!" The rangers screamed, recoiling back before the megazord dashed towards them.
The Megazord slashed at Matacore who blocked the attack before throwing another slash forcing the Megazord to leap back.
However before they landed Matacore spun his sword around and knocked the megazord back.
Matacore then charged up energy before sending several energy slashes at the megazord knocking it towards the ground.
"D-Damn it, we're getting destroyed." Adrian said, as Phil gulped "S-Should we change our mode? Oh! Maybe we could combine two of the forms."
"M-Maybe, but I don't think now is the right time for us to experiment." Keila groaned, making Emily sigh "Then what are we meant to do."
The rangers then noticed the Samurai keys glowing as they floated up above them "Looks like Lauren decided to give us a helping hand."
"LET'S GO! RED SAMURAI LION ZORD!" The rangers grabbed the keys as they inserted them into their control console which activated the new mode.
UNLEASH! LION SHOGUN ZORD!
The Red lion's whole body splitted apart into head, body, limbs and tail with only the front legs attached to the meagzord's legs. The Hatches on the arms and chest opened as the back legs fitted inside the arms' socket as the head popped into the one on the chest. The lion's body changed into a gigantic version of the Fire Smasher while the silver booster pieces combined with the swords to form a naginata. Then the steering wheel at the back spun making the covers on the limbs and the mouth of the lion open revealing the symbols of the samurai zords. Finally, the tail splitted by the half transforming into a samurai helmet which the megazord put on.
"COMPLETE! SAMURAI CRUISE MEGAZORD!" The rangers declared, as they spun the Naganita in their hands.
"This could be bad…GET OVER HERE! BRUISERS!" Matacore yelled, summoning about 20 gigantic Bruisers.
"T-There's so many of them." Phil gulped, as Adrian looked over at him "Don't worry this will be easy."
The rangers had the Megazord charging in towards the Bruisers, slashing them down one by one with their Naganita.
The Bruisers tried to blast at the new Megazord however the rangers quickly spun the wheel they were piloting.
This prompted the Megazord to begin spinning the Naganita which grew bigger and bigger, enough so that the energy blasts were bounced right back at the Bruisers, killing the last of them.
"Wow! Now that's some power!" Keila said, with Emily nodding "Yeah! It's incredible."
"We're not done yet guys! Let's keep going!" Lucas yelled, as they had the Megazord advance towards Matacore.
Matacore slashed at the Megazord several times which didn't do any damage, before the Megazord grabbed Matacore's hand.
"WHAT!" Matacore gasped, looking as the Megazord crushed his sword much to the monster's shock.
The Megazord followed this by slashing Matacore several times before following with a thrust to the gut knocking him to the ground.
"You…you bastards!" Matacore said, before looking up to see the Megazord manifesting a gigantic Fire Smasher engulfed in flame.
"LET'S GO! BURNING FIRE CRASH!" The Rangers declared, as they had the Mgeazord swinging the Fire Smasher towards Matacore cutting him in half.
"N-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Matacore screamed, before exploding.
"Heh, looks like our little friend managed to get a brand new power." We hear, as we see Silas standing there watching the fight go down while holding
"Thanks so much for giving them the ultimate power, real Generous of you." He said, looking over at Lauren still on the ground.
"There! I gave them the Ultimate Power! Now give me my powers back!" Lauren said, making Silas smirk "Yeah no, I think I'm going to hold on to this a little bit longer."
"WHAT! But you promised!" Lauren said, as Silas knelt down in front of her "I lied."
Silas's eyes then flashed, making Laurens eyes widen before she collapsed to the ground unconscious.
"I'll give you a bit of time to recover, before I go and strike." Silas said, as he walked off before teleporting away.
Armada Ship
Third person P.O.V.
"Oh Argus, could you come in for a moment?" Levira said, as we see Argus walking past the doors of her lab.
"Yes ma'am?" Argus said, walking inside seeing Levira standing in her lab.
"I was quite surprised that my own invention broke like that, especially now since Damarus has the Prince believing there's no point in continuing the development since it failed so badly." Levira said, with Argus nodding "Yes it was quite unfortunate that your invention failed."
"Except my invention didn't fail, the only way that could have happened is if someone tampered with it." She said, making Argus gulp "M-Ma'am what are you implying?"
Levira smirked before showing footage of Argus tampering with the compliance collar "Looks like someone is breaking out of their mind control, most likely because of that girl…no matter, I shall just fix it."
"I…I WON'T LET Y-" Argus yelled, drawing his sword only to freeze as Levira pressed a button freezing him.
"Now now, no need to do something you'll regret besides, the fun is only beginning." Levira said, as she slowly made her way towards Argus with her tools as Argus struggled to move and escape.
Sky Ship
Third person P.O.V.
"So you seriously don't remember anything?" Keila asked, as we see the rangers hanging around the sky ship after the battle.
"No nothing, all I remember is that collar getting put on me and then I was suddenly fighting Adrian over at the construction area." Lucas said, as Phil sat down.
"Well, it looks like we didn't get any information about the enemy." Phil said, but Emily smiled "At least we have you back Lucas."
"Thanks." Lucas smiled, before Adrian walked in as everyone looked up at him.
"I…I wanted to apologise…I let my pride and jealousy over you get in the way of our mission…and I didn't consider what it did to all of you…I'm sorry for everything." Adrian said, as everyone looked at him.
"Hey dude it's fine, we're all in a new situation here. We're all taking it in our own ways." Lucas said, before grinning "But I do think you deserve some kind of punishment."
"What?" Adrian asked, as everyone looked at Lucas who grinned "You gotta do all our chores, cleaning, cooking, laundry etc until the next time we face the Armada."
"Oh! That's perfect!" Keila grinned, as Phil nodded "Yeah, I could take a break from cooking."
"E-Eh! Wait, hold on, I don't have any idea how to do those things." Adrian said, before looking over at Emily who smiled sweetly "It wouldn't be a punishment if I helped you brother."
"N-No…" Adrian said, falling to his knees as the others laughed while making their way to their rooms.
And done! Finally, man that was a really fun chapter to do got to do a lot of things I have had planned for awhile.
What did you guys think of Ardians arc this chapter, and some of the things I have had planned for Argus honestly I'm really looking forward to it since I'm combining ideas from both the Sentai and the PR Comics.
But anyway next chapter will probably be a filler chapter before we get to the proper finale of Season 1.
