We watched as my dad took this guy on and he tried to run the idiot, Jax took him down like it was nothing. I have no idea who he was but when I saw his face it made me feel a chill or something. "Max?" Klea said, "yeah?" I asked, "everything okay?" she asked, "yeah why?" I asked. "Your face literally just went white, almost like you saw a ghost" Klea said, "its fine, um do you mind if we pull over for a sec" I said as we moved over to the side of the road and I parked behind my dad. I climbed out of the car and my dad was putting the guy into another police car. He looked right at me and I felt the same thing but this time it was stronger. What the hell was that? I am losing my mind here, "Max" my dad said, "hey we were stuck in traffic, dad who is he?" I asked, "no one good, you should get going back to school" he said. "I am but dad, when he looked at me I felt weird" I said. "What?" Chase asked, "when that man you arrested looked at me I felt this weird chill and Klea said I went white" I said. "I am sure it is nothing Max, but he is from your past" Chase said, "from my past?" I asked, "yes he tried to kill me when you were small" Chase said, "so was it like a déjà vu thing?" I asked, "I don't know bud, but get going the traffic is getting bad" dad said.
I agreed as I headed back to my car but I felt like he didn't really tell me what I wanted to now. "Max?" Klea said what I climbed in the car, "its nothing" I said, as I was able to get back onto the freeway. Before I knew it we were back in Toronto, I parked my car and we all climbed out. "Max can we talk?" Klea said, "about?" I asked, "what was that back there?" she asked, "I just felt like I knew that guy, my dad said he took me when I was younger. I don't remember but he gave me a weird vibe" I said. "Interesting, I wonder why he was arrested" Klea asked. "My dad said it was nothing good" I said as we all went inside, "Are we all going to hang out?" Adam asked, "I am down" Hunter replied, "me too" Klea said, "Sure" Aria said, they all looked to me, "um I mean I guess" I said, "oh you are so annoying be more excited" Klea said punching me in the arm.
"Ow" I said, "that barely hurt" she said and I rolled my eyes how would she know how it felt. We were all in the lounge and Piper was there too, "did you meet her?" Piper asked Aria, "yes she is so awesome, and really nice" she said, I knew they were talking about my mom but this was awkward. "I wish I could have met her" Piper said, "anytime you want to I am sure she would love it" I said, "Really?" Piper asked, "yeah my mom loves her fans, she wishes she could have done more for them but she did what she could while raising my sister and I" I said. "That would be so cool!, thanks Max" Piper said and I nodded I mean it was the least I could do.
I am not sure why my friends and I couldn't hang out in peace like why something always needed to go wrong. We were in the lounge, "yo Chapman!" I heard and I looked, I rolled my eyes really. "Who is that?" Aria asked, "someone I don't care for" I said as he walked towards us. "You ignoring me?" he asked, "no I just don't want to talk to you" I said, "who are you?" Aria asked, "I am Drew" he said, "I remember you now" Hunter said as everyone was still clueless. "Max" he said, "what?" I said annoyed like why did all my bullies and exes and shit follow me around. "I was hoping you could help me" he said, "with what?" I asked, "well your dad sort of arrested my brother" he said. "Which one?" I asked I knew he had a younger one and an older one. "Mason" he said, "and why do I care?" I asked, "I was hoping you could talk to your dad for me? After Tyler left he just he's been acting out and I can't handle him" Drew said. "I still don't see how this is my problem? What did he do?" I asked, "he was selling" Drew said. "I can't help" I said, "do we like him?" I heard Klea ask Hunter, "nope" Hunter said. "Hey if your brother was caught then he does the time now just back off" Klea said. "Stay the fuck out of this I am talking to Max" Drew said getting mad, "Drew I am not helping you" I said and he went for me. I think he was going to punch me but Klea stepped in front of me and grabbed his arm twisting it. "He said back the fuck off" she said and he said "okay sorry" as Klea let go.
I knew she was protective but not like that, Drew walked away, "who was he?" she asked, "he bullied me a lot in school, his brother even bullied Orianna, and I mean I am not surprised they are into drugs, there dad was really messed up too" I said. "Man you have a lot of enemies" Aria said, "yeah and a lot of them have to do with my dad" I said. "Sounds like we need to protect you" she said winking at me. "I think I am going to be just fine" I said kissing her. "Max are we together?" she asked, "I want to be Aria but I am still not sure" I said, "he is sure" Klea said. "I just its complicated" I said, "if you ever say her name I will beat you up myself, Max she is so wrong for you" Klea said, "this is not about her, its about me I just need more time Aria I am sorry. I know kissing you is wrong but I do like you, I just I am really sorry" I said. "I get it and I can give you time Max, I just hope its not too long" she said. It was getting late and I knew everyone except Klea and I had class in the morning. Everyone left and it was just Klea and me left she wanted to talk to me and I had a feeling I wasn't going to like this conversation.
