Ingo is walking down the Nimbasa City Subway tunnels with Emmet beside him. Emmet and Ingo are nearing the location of the energy surge that showed up on the scanners. "We have to find the disturbance to the Nimbasa city Subway and get it back on line," Ingo says while walking beside the tracks thinking about what could be causing the problem.

"We will find the one responsible and they will be held accountable," Emmet responds with a smile to Ingo. Glancing around Ingo sees a little boy standing against the wall of the subway trembling. Getting Emmet's attention and pointing at the child, Emmet and Ingo share a look before nodding to each other. They walk forward and kneel to get on eye level before Ingo asks gently, "What are you down here by yourself little passenger?" The child looks at them nervously before answering while crying, "I don't know one minute I was running away from some classmates and turning into an alley, the next I found myself here." "Now no reason to cry, we will help. My name's Emmet and this is my brother Ingo. Can you tell us your name, little passenger?" Emmet responds with a smile.

Ingo watches as the little passenger looks between them nervously before saying, "My name is Izuku." Ingo sees Izuku looking at them with fear and says, "Well Izuku let's set the destination for the entrance." Then Ingo and Emmet offer their hands, after a moment Izuku slowly puts his hands into theirs. They stand up, so as to not to spook Izuku, and start leading him out of the Nimbasa City Subways. Walking back up to the surface with Izuku in between them, Ingo and Emmet wonder what this is going to lead to.

After leading Izuku out of the Subway tunnels, they take him back to their office in Gear Station. They call Officer Jenny to come help with the situation. Ingo wants to keep Izuku calm so that he doesn't panic before they figure out what to do. So Ingo and Emmet keep Izuku distracted while waiting for her arrival with questions, even if at some points he seems not to know what they are talking about when it comes to Pokémon. After a few minutes Officer Jenny arrives and they start asking questions about where he comes from and how old he is. That's when they slowly realize that he may have come from another dimension and he's only eight years old. So they ask one very important question, "Do you know what Pokémon are?" Izuku looks at them with wide eyes before shaking his head no.

They tell Izuku as gently as possible that he is in another world and that they don't know of a way to send him home. Izuku looks positively devastated and starts crying quietly while curling into himself. Ingo looks at Izuku and can't help but to sit down beside him pulling him into a hug, Emmet following his brother's example. After calming him down Ingo looks at Izuku and says, "We are going to talk to Officer Jenny out in the hallway. We will be back in a few minutes I promise." Ingo gets up, turning towards the hallway and he holds the door open. Emmet leads Officer Jenny out into the hallway. "So what happens now?" Emmet questions with Ingo nodding beside them.

"Probably to an orphanage out in the countryside so no one finds out he's from another dimension, at least until we figure out what to do," Jenny says while shaking her head sadly. "How well do you actually think that's going to go. The kid is probably going to close up like shellder after a day in that situation, especially if you don't help him acclimate to this world gently. So how long before he would be taken out and given that help?" Ingo asks angrily. "Probably a few months to a year. That's if Team Plasma situation can be handled within that time frame." Officer Jenny replies. "That's going to be too long. He's going to need a lot of help and care right away like an out of order train that needs care." Emmet says thoughtfully with Ingo nodding in agreement. "That's the only option right now even if it's not the best one." Jenny responds. Ingo and Emmet share a look before nodding in agreement and say together, "We'll take Izuku in. We have an extra room and can help him adapt to our world." Jenny agrees and they talk a few more minutes before she says she will email them the paperwork for them to be Izuku's guardians. Jenny heads out while Ingo and Emmet head back into the office to see Izuku curled up asleep on the couch with tear tracks going down his face. Ingo's frown deepens at seeing that Izuku cried himself to sleep.

Emmet turns to Ingo and asks, "Should we wake him now, or wait till we get home?" Ingo ponders a moment before walking forward and picks Izuku up gently. "We'll wake him when we get home, he's had a very rough day. He needs some rest so that he can be alert for us to talk to him later about what track he's going to be on," Ingo says. "Your right Ingo, let's set the destination for home," Emmet smiles while locking their office door. They make their way out of Gear Station heading down the road to home. They walk silently wondering what the future holds. As they make it up the path Emmet speeds ahead to unlock the door. They head in and Ingo sets Izuku down on the couch. Taking their hats and coats off, hanging them up before sitting down. They start making a list of things that they will need to get for Izuku.
