Hello dear fellow readers, this is me ChangTheRonin1824 bringing you a new story.

This time, it would be Harry Potter!

I have watched the movies, and I am fascinated by the magic based on the concept and logic of original author, J.K. Rowling.

Although I'm not a big fan of the original series, I'm still have some interest in it, include the game of it, Hogwarts Legacy.

So, I've decide to write one Harry Potter stories, adding elements of Eastern culture like Chinese and Japanese into it, creating a unique story where both Western and Eastern magic meet and clash. But on the other hand, I might add some other elements such as Legends of King Arthur, chivalry (knighthood), and other elements that contains magic.

And for the plot, I don't have much in terms of it. So, feel free to send me suggestions and I'm willing to take it. But under one condition: NO HAREM. Lemons is maybe, but no harem. I may have some ideas from time to time, but all of them.

I know, I should updating other stories, but I need some time to draft out the plot so it'll take some time and thinking in the process. So, I apologize for the inconvenience, but please wait patient for the new chapters.

This story would 100% include: Chinese Taoism, Buddhism, Eastern magic, martial arts, mythologies, knighthood & chivalry, Japanese shinto and onmyoji, summoning, technology, Legend of King Arthur, brotherhood, Magic and adventure. There will be 50% chance of romance, lemons and maybe some smut stuffs, but NO HAREMS.

This story is based on PuzzleMaster1998's original HIATUS Harry Potter story, so huge credit to him.

Disclaimer: Harry Potter franchise is owned by J.K. Rowling the original author, not me.

So, let's begin a special tale of magic!

Arrival and Knighthood

It was a dark night in somewhere in England, The full moon was shining bright on a big medieval time castle complex in a small remote town.

While outside, everywhere was peace and quiet as everyone were asleep under the moonlight in their bed. However, inside the castle, it was a whole different story.

"To my every dear knight brothers! We shall rise with and protect our great knighthood, the great name of chivalry in the name of King Arthur! Huzzah!"

"HUZZAH!"

Thousands of knights in armor all cheered and drink up their heart with joy as they shout out for the knighthood spirits while raising up their big cups of wooden pints.

The big castle was not only an ancient living artifact with history dating back to medieval times, but also the great school and HQ to train brave knights, or simply gather altogether.

The knights all wearing medieval times armor with helmets covering their faces, and full-body armor that suit their body. Some of them were wearing much fancy version with tunics over their, and even fine capes on their back. For each one of their armor's design, is unique: Some have winged helmets, some have black obsidian parts on their armor, so and so.

And on the stage itself, were the representatives of the entire Knighthood: The Council of the Holy Grail, with the young immortal Knighthood King, King Arthur C. Luke, who was said to be carrying King Arthur's and entire Knights of the Round Table's spirits on him.

Like most of the knights on the place, he also wore a set of medieval armor, with tunics, skirt armor underneath, and even long capes on his back. However, rather than full-head helmet, he wore a golden crown with shining jewels on it, showing his full face out. His look was similar to King Arthur, with blonde hair and thick beard, and a masculine face made him a true, mature man. However, there were differences: His had some viking-like braids hairstyle in the back of his head, and his beards covered up only around his lips and on his jaw, rather include the face.

King Luke, or "The Lightbringer", was giving a motivational speech to his fellow knight brothers, raising up the morales, and lifting up the spirits.

"Oh, my fear fellow knight brothers, you know me very well!" He spoke out with a loud, sonorous voice, booming and echoing all throughout the castle. "King Arthur opened up big door for us to pass through, so we could inherit his glorious, and honorable knighthood spirits and let us rise up to reach that Holy Grail, and protecting it as we grow each time we fall down, and get up from the ground!"

"And we shall thanks unlimited times to our glorious and honorable man from that Eastern part of the world, Mr. Chang!" Luke raised up his big cup full of beer. "He helped found our beloved castle for the knights, and we shall forever remember him, as a savior and a best friend, no, even better: sworn brothers!"

"HUZZAH!" Every knights responded with loud cheer together, raising up their pint high in their hand.

Everyone drank up their pint, the taste of fine beer. Then, laughter filled up the entire castle, everyone celebrated like it was their time to go.

There are fine cuisine in buffet on the tables, good entertainment, and joys and brotherhood filled up the ambience. Each people joined in the chat, about different topics, sharing stories and anecdotes among each other.

Even King Luke, with his fellow brothers of the Council, joined into this big party and chat with fellow knight brothers.

"I told you, magic, knighthood, no matter what they have in difference, they are all sharing one common thing of caring out the medieval time's culture from time to time…"

Right in this lively moment, a young knight ran into the party, shouting. "My king! My KIIINNNG!"

The music stopped, everyone stopped chatting and looked at this young knight, who ran toward King Luke as fast as he could.

"WHAT?!" Luke asked him, who ran and stopped in front of him. "What kind of big news happened?"

The young knight panted and gasped for air, then took a deep breathe and said, "My king, in front of the gate door, we found an old man lying on ground unconscious."

Now King Luke was surprised. "Bring me to see him."

"Yes!"

King Luke, with his fellow council, followed the knight through the castle and arrived at the main gate. Then, the gate door was opened, and King Luke saw the old man on the ground.

"?!"

He immediately dashed out and pat the man with his hand, trying to wake him up. "Sir, can you here me? Sir?! Are you okay?!"

The old man didn't respond, not even moving a single muscle.

Saw this, other fellow knights also came forward to inspect the old man, checking the body and the breathes, even the heartbeat to make if he wasn't dead.

Then, they flipped him over, and they saw his face.

The old man, as King Luke deduced, was Japanese and Chinese half-blood. He had a white long hair with a bun, the hairstyle akin to that Taoism hermit or Asian hermit. His beard was also white and long like his hair, and his both beard and hair was clean and tidy. His was wearing a set of mixed design Asian traditional outfits, and with experience and knowledge, the old man's outfit was mainly consists of Japanese kimono and Chinese hanfu. He didn't have wrinkles on his face, so he was extremely healthy despite his old age. His eyes were closed, and his mouth wasn't completely shut at all.

King Luke didn't saw any injuries on him, just his clothes were a little dirty, possibly from the traveling.

'Why I have a feeling of seeing him familiar…' he thought in confusion, with a sense of Déjà vu coursing in him.

Just, he noticed a piece of paper sticking in his cloth. He took it up, opened it, and read the message on it.

"To King Arthur C. Luke, AKA. "The Lightbringer" as well the fellow knights,

Hello. We are the deities who take care of him, as the mentors, guides and even outside help. He is thirsting for a good journey to waken up his soul, as he lived in the bamboo forest for so long in solitude, he felt so much boredom and needs a little pursuit for real risks and fun. So, we decide to help him out, but it is mainly his own path to find it. Anyway, his birthday is November 11th, and as you may have know, his name is Tenjū 'Chang' Ryunosūke.

Sincerely,

The Council of The High

P.S. This kid have a lot of potentials in magic and martial arts, but only in Eastern terms."

As soon as King Luke read the message, he was a little skeptical at first. But when he turned the paper too see the backside, he saw a familiar symbol: a 常 kanji in ink-black, written in Asian style with perfection.

"HOLY ARTHUR, IT'S CHANG!"

He voice was so loud it echoed through the night sky, and the entire castle.

With the echoes gone silents, there was a moment of silence, felt like time stopped in that short moment.

Then, a giant rumble occurred, as every knights ran out of the castle when he heard their king's shouting.

"Wait, you said Chang is here?!"

"Let me see him!"

"Damn, I never thought my time would come and finally saw that man's face in person!"

In one second, everybody else crowded around King Luke and Chang, squeezing and trying take a look at the fainted old man.

But King Luke proved to be a true leader. "EVERYONE! SHUT UP!"

Every knights gone silenced.

"…Thank you."

Then, he coughed and cleared his throat, and then spoke out in loud, clear voice to all knights present.

"Though this is Chang, but still we have to take care of him." He first looked at two knights, "Mark, Jackson, you two, carry him to the infirmary, and took care of him until he woke up. The rest, we'll take turns looking over him, make sure he is in healthy conditions."

The two knights nodded, and then they put Chang onto a stretcher, and then carried him away.

"I have enough fun tonight, folks, let's just wash our teeth and face, then go to sleep. Tomorrow, we'll have some important things to do, and I have to contact my dear old Oracle friend of the wizards, to discuss about it."

"Do you think such action would bring anything beneficial, my king?" One of the Council member asked him, he was wearing a light-weight armor with a cape on the back, a tunic over the armor, and a skirt underneath. He was wearing a hood, and it covered his eyes, creating a mysterious sense on him.

"Only try in bravery, there's always a solution, my dear Pa." King Luke reassured him with some confidence, before turned to face the knights. "Alright then, Boys! Have a good night, and if any of you volunteer to clean up the mess, I'd be pleased!"

Later, in the mid-night…

Every knight went asleep in their dorms, all for one.

King Luke couldn't fall asleep, so he walked down the dark hallway, and arrived at the castle's infirmary where Chang was sent.

There were still some light, not much, but still enough to illuminate the total darkness.

He walked to the bed where Chang was, and on the bed, it was still Chang, but in a complete different way: From earlier, he was old hermit. Now, he became a much familiar appearance in younger age.

That younger Chang was in his early 20s, with black hair that reach to the neck and short black mustaches on his face, mainly around his lips and on his jaw. His outfits shifted into modern-day clothings, include a red and black sport tank-top, a white trouser with black, white and green colored vertical stripes on the sides, a pair of sport socks and a pair of sneakers, which were already took down and placed by the bed. His hands were wrapped in white bandages as the fingerless gloves, hand wraps and wrist guards. His skin color was a mixture of light and moderate brown, with great care and reflect lights. His muscles were more buffed in his well-built physique, as King Luke deduced it was due to all those training in martial arts, working on the body and fighting. There were two jackets nicely folded and placed by him, one was a white light-hood jacket with golden lines on it. Another, was a red light jacket, with a 常 and a fine Japanese art of golden dragon on the back of it.

When King Luke saw this, he was not surprised, because he would expect this would happen. That bamboo forest was not only just a bamboo forest, it was full of mysteries, magic, and maybe… even out of reality and all possible dimension we know. Chang was staying in that place for too long, that the concept of time was no longer part of this forest. He could have stayed for years, decades, centuries, millenniums, and even eons, yet not bothered by it, not even a tiny single millisecond. So, technically and theoretically, Chang became a permanent immortal, even greater and stronger to god we known.

Luke carried a stood, and sat by Chang, watching him over night, silently.

"Don't worry Chang, my dear friend. I promise myself that I would let you regain your full potentials."

This is an interesting chapter, isn't it? But still, to me, this is merely a prequel before the main plot.

I'm sorry if this chapter mainly focused on knighthood and chivalry rather than the magic of the original HP series. This is because I want to write a unique story about Harry Potter. Rather than just focusing on magic and fantasy, I also include other related elements such as Eastern cultures, knighthood, and more.

If possible, please leave reviews on my other stories, it would help me with writing, and I would enjoy what you have to say about my stories, especially positive words. However, please don't send me drawing request, I'm not paying to see them… For now.

Reminder, this story would be HIATUS for now, until further ideas and plot are found to write.

This is ChangTheRonin1824 finished his words, see you again!
