Author's Note: Can never have enough Kataang smut/fluff. Also, as you can tell by my previous fics, I love writing for Toph in all of her chaotic glory. And Sokka, he's always fun haha. Enjoy!

I want him.
Aang caught Katara's hand in his, making her heart skip a beat as he brought her hand to his chest, where she could feel the rhythmic throbbing of his heartbeat. She gazed into his piercing eyes, and everything went still. A blush caressed her cheeks as her breath slowly left her in a captivated exhale.
How was it that whenever he looked at her this way, with such intensity and devotion, she felt like the most vulnerable and yet the most powerful being in the world? In reality, of course, that was him. After all, he was the world's most powerful bender, the connecting factor between the living world and the spiritual world, and yet, despite all of that, he was still simply, sweetly…
"Aang," she whispered, a surge of feelings rushing through her, weakening her resolve.
He released her hand only to slip his arms around her back, pulling her flush against him. Her hips pressed to his as she tilted her chin up and her lashes fluttered. And then, her eyes drifted shut altogether as he inched closer to her, lips hovering mere inches from her own.
"Gross. Get a room."
Aang and Katara jumped apart like they'd been doused with ice-cold water. The intruder, none other than Toph, donned an all-knowing grin as she folded her arms.
The two of them had snuck off from the festivities at the banquet hall where Zuko and Mai were celebrating their engagement. It was a lavish party with people from all nations showing up to celebrate the love between the young Fire Lord and his bride-to-be, whose stoic expression slipped every now and then whenever she looked into Zuko's eyes. Despite all the guests they had to entertain over the course of the evening, they were always the center of one another's attention.
At some point, with the party carrying on well into the night, Aang had placed a hand on Katara's waist, and when their eyes connected, she read in his facial expression that he needed a breather, so she excused herself and followed him out onto the balcony. Somehow, they'd somehow started dancing, and her need for him quickly overpowered everything as the rest of the world seemed to dissolve as they lost themselves in each other.
Now, stealing a furtive glance at Aang, Katara could see the bright red blush on his face that undoubtedly matched her own. With a hopeless sigh, she said, "How'd you even know we were—I mean, not that we were, but—"
"Yes, you were," Toph said. "I felt it in your heartbeats." It was intrusive, really, how she always seemed to cut right to the truth of any situation by calling people out on things without even the slightest trace of tact. "You're lucky Sokka's too busy stuffing his face or he'd flip out if he caught you two in the middle of…whatever foreplay this was that I just walked in on."
Katara's face reddened more in anger rather than sheer embarrassment alone, while poor Aang only seemed to sink deeper into shame as he covered his face.
"I told you, we weren't—"
Toph held up a hand, silencing Katara's protests. "You're only making it worse for yourself, young lady."
"'Young lady?'" she scoffed. Frankly, she would've burst out in laughter at the absurdity of Toph's statement, but her anger was still too fresh on the surface, overriding any sense of levity. She put her hands on her hips and matter-of-factly pointed out, "You're two years younger than I am!"
"Hey, what's with all the yelling?" Sokka asked, appearing next to Toph with a plate of food stacked high.
Toph simply pointed an accusing finger in their direction. "Ask the two love turtle-ducks over there."
Sokka looked at them expectantly, and Katara huffed and stormed off right then and there. He took it as his cue to follow his sister inside, but not before casting a sideways glance at a noticeably flustered Aang, who kept his eyes glued to the ground.
"Katara!" Sokka called after her, barely catching up as she waded through the sea of party guests. He abandoned his plate of food on a nearby table and managed to catch her by the arm, and she froze and looked back at him. "You okay?"
Her momentarily startled expression snapped into one of indignation as she ripped her arm from his grasp. "I'm fine. Toph can be so rude sometimes, that's all."
"Well, duh. It's Toph," Sokka said with a lighthearted smile, but when Katara didn't smile back, his face faltered in concern. "Did she really upset you just now? I'm sure she was only kidding around."
"Whatever," Katara grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest. "I was just trying to have a little alone time with Aang."
"Hey, I get it, but it's not like you two are—" His words screeched to a halt when Katara looked at him, half-nervously, half-curiously, while he, in turn, was hit with a wave of worry as his protective older brother instincts flared up in an instant. "Wait a second. No. You guys aren't actually…"
Katara cocked her head as she stared at him, though in her silence, Sokka only grew more panicked. "Please tell me you and Aang haven't… I mean, I know it's none of my business, but like, you know. You haven't yet, right?"
"What are you talking about?" Katara asked, genuinely befuddled over how strangely he was behaving now, even for him.
Finally, Sokka heaved a sigh and clasped his hands together, forcing himself to rein in his nerves. "You know what? Forget I said anything. You love Aang, Aang loves you. Sky's blue, Appa's big. We all get it. What do you say we leave it at that and pretend this conversation never happened?"
"Um, okay," Katara said warily.
"Great," Sokka said. "Anyway, I'm just gonna…"
He slinked off, pausing only to pick up his plate of food, leaving behind Katara who simply blinked and stared after her brother like he was the most questionable person she'd ever known.
On the balcony, Aang had thankfully managed to compose himself. However, just as he was about to head back inside, Toph stepped in front of him.
"You and Katara aren't actually mad at me, are you?" she asked. "I was going to leave you two alone, but then of course Sokka showed up, and well… You know Sokka. Subtlety's far from his strong suit. I wasn't trying to embarrass you guys."
"It's fine. I can't speak for Katara, but no, I'm not mad at you," Aang said. "Now, please, can I just…"
He stepped to the side, but of course Toph stepped in the same direction as him, and he groaned in annoyance.
"No," she said resolutely. "Not until you actually forgive me. I really was only teasing."
"I know you were, but it's not like you're the first person to interrupt us," Aang said with sudden bitterness. "I can't even begin to tell you the amount of people who've asked me about my personal life as if it's any of their business. Yet another burden that comes with being the Avatar, I guess."
The typical rock that was Toph's stubborn exterior managed to crumble into dust. Her shoulders drooped as her face fell in sympathy for her friend. After a moment, she straightened up again, and her face brightened once more as an idea came to her.
"Tell you what, the next time someone asks you an inappropriate question about your personal life, bring 'em to me, and I'll handle them."
"You'll handle them?" Aang echoed. "What does that mean, exactly?"
"Oh," Toph said, and she stretched her hands high above her head and cracked her knuckles in a purposely dramatic way. "I think you know."
Aang chuckled. "Well, I hope it won't have to come to that, but I appreciate the offer."
"It's the least I can do for you, Twinkle Toes," Toph said, tossing a soft punch to his shoulder, which he absently rubbed.
"Hey, so… You could actually tell how much Katara and I…"
"Oh, gosh," Toph said, sensing where he was heading. "I've never felt two people want each other more than you two. It's sweet in a really gross way."
"Huh. Thanks for the honesty," Aang said as his gaze wandered inside. Amidst the sea of mingling party-goers, he was quick to spot Katara, who now chatted with a few Fire Nation maidens. Then, as if sensing his eyes on her, she turned her head to meet his gaze, smiling sweetly at him, and he smiled back.
"Yup, there it is again," Toph cut in. "The jump in your heartbeat. I hope for both of your sakes you two finally… You know. Seriously. Go for it already, Aang."
With that, she headed inside, leaving him with a rare moment to himself. In the peaceful solitude, he drew in a deep, steadying breath, ready for whatever awaited the rest of the night.
"Did you enjoy yourself tonight?" Aang asked from the other room.
"You mean before or after the intrusion from Toph and my brother?" Katara asked, having settled comfortably onto their bed, waiting for him to join her.
"In spite of that, I suppose."
Katara smiled to herself. "In spite of that… It was a really wonderful evening."
"I agree," Aang said, at last appearing at the doorway.
She couldn't help but immediately sweep her eyes down the length of his body, following the arrows that curved along the ripples of his muscles.
"Katara," he said, his voice warm yet playful. "My eyes are up here."
Her eyes widened as a deep blush rushed to her face. Yet, despite getting caught, she found herself smirking.
"Sorry," she said without any indication of actually feeling apologetic in the slightest. "You're just so handsome to look at."
He brought a hand to the back of his neck as his lips curved into a humble smile, which only made Katara's smile widen.
"At least we're finally alone," she said. "No one to bother us… It's just you and me right now."
Aang slid his hand forward, tapping a finger to his chin as his smile took on a much more mischievous quality. Slowly, he approached her, and a sizzling smile played at her lips as her heartbeat sped up in anticipation when he joined her in their bed.
"Hmm… Now, hold on," he said. "I seem to recall someone saying that once before, many years ago, to a powerful, not to mention beautiful, young waterbender disguised as a member of the Fire Nation… If only I could remember who it was…"
"Such a shame you can't seem to remember," Katara said, eyelids drooping. "That happens to be one of the first clear moments when that fierce, young waterbender realized she wanted that sweet, naïve, confident master of all four elements. Just like tonight. Just like right now, at this very moment. She wants him."
"And he wants her. More than anything. He's always wanted her."
Katara took in the spark that danced across his gray eyes as he wrapped his strong arms around her back, and she cupped a hand to his face.
"I'm grateful we're able to keep our private life actually private," she said. "Sokka started to pry and act all weird about it, but thankfully, from what I can tell at least, he's still completely clueless."
"Yeah, well, Toph's confident that we want each other so badly we should just go for it already," Aang said. "Little does she know."
"Honestly, with how nosy people are, I'd bet they'd all be dying to know what gets you off, the all-powerful Avatar," Katara said, sweeping her palm over his cheek as a soft chuckle escaped the back of Aang's throat.
"They'll just have to keep wondering," he said, only to pause, reconsidering his words. "Although, I wish they wouldn't." Finally, his lips stretched into a beguiling grin. "Besides, I'm much more interested in what gets you off."
The corners of Katara's lips lifted in a shy yet appreciative smile. The sheer want in his eyes said it all. Empowered by the look on his face, filled with undying love and tinges of growing lust, she pressed the heel of her palm to his chin as she leaned forward, nearly brushing her nose to his.
"Well, personally, one of my favorite things is when you pleasure me with your mouth."
She punctuated her words by touching her thumb to his lips, and her brows shot up suggestively. He captured her hand in his and pressed his lips to the back of her fingers.
"You mean like that?" Aang asked coyly, brow arched with an almost too self-assured smile on his face. He knew what he was doing, and she was willing to play along.
"Not quite. I meant farther down. Somewhere more…private."
"Hmm," he hummed again, a coquettish grin permanently plastered on his face. "I'm still not exactly sure where you're talking about. You're going to have to be more specific."
"You're really going to make me say it?" Katara asked, her face growing warmer at the suggestion alone.
Sure enough, Aang released her hand and slipped both of his hands beneath his chin, batting his eyelashes at her in keen interest. He was enjoying himself far too much. Well, if he really wanted to hear her describe it to him, she would gladly accept the challenge.
"I love when you go down on me, how unbelievably amazing your tongue feels inside me," Katara said, surprising even herself with her bold declaration. With a rush of desire, she powered through any self-consciousness that threatened to sweep through her by keeping her focus on Aang, the notable shift in his breathing and the way his pupils expanded. She pressed a slender finger to his forehead, eliciting a gasp from him. "And I especially love watching your head between my legs because I get to see your arrow tattoo pointing directly at my most sensitive region."
She dragged her finger down his forehead and watched as his entire face flushed a becoming shade of red. Then, a look of determination flashed across his eyes, and he grasped either side of her hips and slid her underwear down her legs before looping his hands around her outer thighs.
"You mean like this?" he asked.
He held her gaze as he lowered his head. He kissed her inner thigh, and she shuddered in excitement when his eyes flashed up to hers with a flirtatious glimmer, delighted in teasing her. And then he dove his head forward, plunging his tongue inside her without any warning. She gasped at the abrupt jolt of pleasure that shot through her body, causing her hips to jerk upward, though his hands around her thighs held her firmly in place. She groaned as his tongue expertly dipped between her folds, sliding against her inner walls in a sweeping motion before curling tightly around her sensitive bud. When she felt the strong suction of his lips, she threw her head back in ecstasy.
"Oh, wow," she moaned. "Aang. Yes."
Spurred by her words of approval, he glided his tongue deeper inside her as she squirmed in satisfaction, willing herself to drop her eyes to focus on that delightfully erotic sight of his arrow tattoo pointing between her thighs. Her chest heaved as the pleasure mounted, his tongue working wonders in stimulating her, awakening every nerve-ending in her body. His lips clamped down as the tip of his tongue circled around her most sensitive spot, pleasure building higher and higher until it burst forth in a tingling rush of ecstasy that crashed through her in rolling waves. Her legs fell limp as she rode out the remaining pulses of her orgasm, and in the fog of pleasure, she met Aang's attentive gaze and gave him an unabashed grin.
"Yet another skill the Avatar has mastered," she said.
His grin was far more sheepish in return. "You're really good at it, too."
"Is that a request?" Katara asked, reaching out to place a hand to his chest, where she felt his heart racing as his eyes popped at the implication.
"Oh. I mean, well… That wasn't necessarily a request, although I wouldn't turn it down if you're offering to… Not that you need to or that I expect you to or anyth…"
He trailed off when she leaned forward and kissed him squarely on the lips. The taste of her on his lips made her unexpectedly moan, flashing her to the heightened point of pleasure mere moment ago. She flung her arms around him, and soon their tongues were tangling together. Aang groaned into her mouth, cupping her face in his hands.
"How is it you can be so confident one moment and so shy the next?" Katara said in the midst of their passionate embrace. She lovingly stroked her hand down his cheek, warm to the touch with the heavy blush that tinged his face. "It's adorable."
Their lips met again, though it was far briefer this time as Katara was quick to break away in favor of pressing her open mouth to his neck, relishing the sound of his shuddering intake of breath and the feeling of his pulse throbbing against her lips. She drew back to look him in the eyes, watching him watch her as she lowered herself and trailed her tongue down his stomach, leaving a glistening trail of her saliva down his porcelain skin.
In one fluid motion, she shed him of his underwear and wrapped her lips around his hardened length. He moaned at the sudden contact, and she wasted no time in flicking her tongue against his skin, swirling it around his head before dipping forward, taking the full length of him into her mouth. The sound of his sharp moan sent an exhilarating rush throughout her as she picked up her pace, grasping him in her palm, feeling him twitch as he fell deeper and deeper into the hidden depths of pleasure.
Her own desire pooling within her, she brought her free hand to his chest, gliding it down his warm, smooth skin, feeling the way his breathing grew ragged as his body twisted in pleasure.
"Katara," he breathed, voice rough with ecstasy.
Her eyes flashed up to meet his intense gaze, clouded by sheer lust, and suddenly his hands cradled her jaw, drawing her off of him only for their mouths to meet in a long, torrid kiss. They simultaneously moaned as their tongues brushed together. She wrapped her arms around the back of his neck, only to break away when she felt his fingers touch her core, slipping inside to tease her. She went rigid against him, overwhelmed by the sensations coursing through her as he pressed his lips to her ear.
"My favorite thing is when we finish together."
"Mine…too," she panted.
Removing the last barrier of clothing between them that was Katara's nightgown, Aang then pressed his warm lips to one of her breasts. She tossed her head back and moaned again, overwhelmed by the feeling of his tongue gently tracing across her sensitive flesh. Unable to wait any longer, she straddled his lap and sank down onto his length. They both released shuddering moans as they gripped onto each other and quickly found their rhythm, the friction building between them in a fast pace, frenzied and passionate.
Lost in an astounding sea of pleasure, Katara caressed Aang's face, skimming her fingers over his flushed skin. His eyes opened to meet her loving gaze, and soon, their frantic grinding slowed down as their lips met in a deep, deep kiss. They moaned in unison as they moved as one. Katara arched against him, deepening the angle of him inside her, and suddenly, Aang sucked in a breath and his entire body stiffened. She felt him pulsate with the highest point of pleasure just as she, too, found her release, letting out a breathless cry as she exploded around him.
When it was done, they collapsed against each other, panting softly. She trailed her fingers over the back of his hand, tracing along the pointed tip of his arrow tattoo.
"I love you," Aang whispered in complete and utter adoration.
With heightened emotion in the wake of their passion, Katara whispered back, "I love you, too. I can't wait to marry you someday."
She wouldn't have felt so confident to speak so freely of their future if it weren't for how strongly their feelings for each other truly were. They were still young, but the sentiment in her words rang true. She couldn't wait to eventually marry him one day, to start a family with him, to continue their mission of restoring harmony. It all solidified in the way he looked at her right now, eyes aglow with a love so deep it could last a thousand lifetimes.
"Katara… You have no idea how much I can't wait to marry you."
Aang turned his palm over to clasp his hand around hers as their lips met in a kiss that sealed the promise of their future together.
