Chapter 18. Seeker of revenge, The angel verses demon, the soul still yearns for what it's missing
After the end of the battle Royal yesterday Ichika, his friends including everyone around I.S Academy were all speechless by how incredible the world tournament is going especially the battle against the mobile armor which was so powerful nothing can harm it until it was finally damaged and destroyed.
Ichika: oh man that battle Royal was something I did not expect to become so incredible.
Houki: all of those players really gave it there all I never thought that they would just head straight into the danger like that…
Ichika: yeah and how all of them worked together to take down that monster…
Rin: it was cool and strange how they all worked together.
Charlotte: it really does feel strange, all those players coming together and fighting such a powerful foe.
Ichika: everyone working together… hi guys look the next stage of the world tournament is about to start.
Everyone looks at the TV as the tournament's first round is about to start, Chifuyu is also watching the tournament as well as looking at two particular individuals that she feels that she has seen before.
Chifuyu: are those two… why would they join a tournament that would not benefit anything for them and that enemy becoming more powerful and invisible… I smell a rat or rather a rabbit.
(Scene change)
At the hotel Kirito is seen in his room thinking about what happened in the battle Royal yesterday and is thinking about what happened along with the danger of what is going to happen in the world tournament.
Kirito: the danger of what's happening in this tournament going to get more serious real soon especially those two women that is there…
Then Asuna comes to the room wanting to visit Kirito, to see if he's okay, he lets her in and the two then begin talking.
Asuna: Kirito is everything okay? After what happened in the battle Royal and things going out of control…
Kirito: it's alright Asuna, I'm okay but I did run into some trouble while fighting.
Asuna: trouble?
Kirito: yeah and I saw a lot of glitches and that Boss gaining a lot of power along with a player that I think is trying to ruin the tournament for reasons I don't know why… but I think it's for dangerous purposes.
Asuna: don't you think that the staff and professor Smith should stop the tournament before things get worse and find the culprits.
Kirito: I think that might be impossible and judging on how things are if I'm right the culprits are females and are I.S pilots along with being very skilled also they are well hidden… our hands are tied, but I'm still going to try and talk to him.
Asuna: Kirito…
Kirito: it's almost time for the next round, I'll be seeing you later Asuna.
Kirito leaves and heads to the stadium with Asuna wishing him good luck, meanwhile Yushai is in his room making adjustments to his Gunpla once he was done he soon headed to the stadium as well, as he approached the building he sees both Ral and Krystina waiting at the entrance for him.
Krystina: Yushai!
Ral: are you ready? From now on you will be facing very powerful opponents you mustn't let your guard down no matter what.
Yushai: got it Mr. Ral, alright I'm off.
Krystina: Yushai please be careful…
Yushai: I will.
Yushai then goes into the stadium to see who he will be fighting against, Krystina and Ral goes inside to take there sits so they can see the battles.
(Scene change)
Inside the Stadium players that are left all prepare to face there opponents and move up to the next round, the board soon showed who be fighting who, the screen soon shows the first match of the tournament and Yushai will be fighting against M whose identity is still a mystery, the two are told to come to the stage the others also head to their matches.
Once the two were face to face they both placed there Gunpla on the scanner then they both then they headed into the battlefield which was a destroyed city, M's Gunpla has both Legilis Head and body, WZC legs, arms of Noir and wings of WZC.
M: your not worth my time…
Yushai: huh?
M: I'll show you how out matched you really are.
Yushai: how out matched I am? Well I'll show you I don't go down easily!
(Metal gear rising - A stranger I remain)
The battle then began both of them started fighting against each other M fires her twin buster rifles at Yushai who dodges the attacks then he counter attack with his Mace Sword.
The two clash against each other as the audience cheer as this amazing battle rages on but Ral, Ezio, Zorro and Kirito notices that M is not going all out just playing with Yushai and is reading his movements until she finally strikes with her sabers that severely damages Astaroth then blasts him to the ground.
M: didn't I tell you… you or anyone can't defeat me no matter what you do.
Just as the many believes that the battle was over, Astaroth stands back up on its feet, M fires her twin buster rifles at him again but Yushai dodges it rushes at her, M tried to dodge but he grabbed her from behind and pulls her down and shots his Cannons finally damaging M's Gunpla.
M: your so annoying…
M knock Astaroth back and continue to damage it more then it fires its mega cannon damaging Astaroth even more, yet it is still not down.
M: why, why won't you just stay down where you belong?
Yushai: because… there's someone I want to face off against and I'm going to reach him!
(Digimon the movie – run around)
Astaroth soon responded to Yushai's will as it attacks M, who believes this is foolish however she unknowingly underestimate him as he destroys her wings which she didn't see coming, this angers her a bit as she tries to end the battle however Astaroth was quicker as it damaged her cannon.
M: why won't you go down already!
Yushai: make me!
M then activated Legilis's X-Rounder system and unleashed her rage on him, Yushai responded by activating Alaya-Vijnana system as both of them gives it there all as they destroy the city around them, M was getting frustrated by her opponent every minute and yet something stirs inside her, it's telling her to defeat him she didn't understand why but she now has another person that she wants to defeat, not just Chifuyu or Ichika but now Ezio and Yushai are enemies that she wants to defeat now more then ever.
The two continue to fight as there Gunpla's are about to reach there breaking point as the match is about to end, both machines charge at each other.
M: go down already!
Yushai: I'm not going down here! Awakening system activate!
Yushai then does the unthinkable and combine both systems giving Astaroth a bigger boost in power to match M's power as both Gunpla finally crashed at each at full power creating a huge explosion everyone who was watching the battle wonder who won.
(End of music)
Once the dust settled M's Gunpla then fell to the ground defeated while Astaroth stands victories meaning Yushai won the first match, everyone cheers for seeing such incredible battle, M who was confused by all of this can't believe she lost. Just as she was about to leave Yushai speaks to her.
Yushai: hi!
M: …
Yushai: I would like to fight against you again one day.
M: …
M continues to walk away from the arena, meanwhile Tabane was greatly disappointed that M was defeated in the first match.
Tabane: ohhhh, I never thought little Madoka would get defeated but this won't ruin my plans one bit.
Tabane continues to plot her scams, as everything fades to black.
