The Roaring Burn Bazooka!
Upper Yard
While Nami's crew kept on sailing on the Milky Road, they had a bad encounter with Eneru, who used his Devil Fruit power to electrocute Sanji with intense lightning, leaving the chef severely burned and unconscious. Nami and Usopp looked at Sanji in horror, but Gan Fall, Ventus, and Caius looks at Eneru with enraged look.
"AAAAHHHHHH! What have you doing?!" Usopp cried in teary eyes. "Y-You killed Sanji! It's useless! No pulse! I wish Chopper was here, he'll know with to do! Sanji! Sanji! SANJI! It wasn't supposed to be this way!"
"You idiot! You're checking his right side for heartbeat, the left side is where his heart is!" Ventus shouts in annoyance with a tick mark on his head, which Usopp felt embarrassed. "And don't bother checking it, his heart is beating slowly! He's just unconscious."
Usopp decided to check his heartbeat just to make, and the young Dragoon is right which it got him screaming.
"HE'S ALIVE!" Usopp yelled with his bulging eyes. "...Back from the dead...I can't believe it."
"MORON!?" Ventus and Caius yelled with white eyes and shark-like teeth, air slapping the sniper.
"But still, he's still not well. Just look at him." Nami told him serious as Usopp yelled again.
"NOOOO! YOU CAN'T DIE AGAIN! I NEED YOU HERE!" Usopp cried, but Gan Fall, Ventus, and Caius turned their heads to Eneru, who looks at them with a sinister smirk while sitting on the wooden railing with his legs crossed.
"Eneru..." Gan Fall snarled angrily.
"There's no reason for you to be resentful, it's spoiling our beautiful reunion, don't you think? It would serve us both well if you cheered up, just a little, eh, Gan Fall." Eneru said as he chuckled, but Usopp slowly puts Sanji down and stands up, looking at him with frightened look while his body trembles a bit.
"Hey you! I don't know what you did to him, but you better not try anymore monkey business! Or my 8,000 followers will rip you into shreds! I'll tell you what, I'll forgive you and call off my hordes of angry followers if you just leave right now, how's that? Sound good?" Usopp warned him, which Eneru isn't amused at all and not convinced as Nami, Ventus, and Caius watched him vanished. "This is your final warning-"
It got Nami, Gan Fall, Ventus, and Caius widen their eyes while Usopp stops speaking and looks for Eneru, hoping that he's going. But unfortunately, Eneru reappeared and used his Devil Fruit power to electrocute Usopp with a finger on his forehead, leaving him severely burned with a grunt in pain as he collapses on top of Sanji. Nami just shrieks in horror, covering her mouth. Ventus, Caius, and Gan Fall stares are Eneru with a deep scowl on their eyes.
"Damn you!" Gan Fall snarls angrily as Eneru slowly glances at Nami.
"You will stay quiet...or join your friends. Am I being clear?" Eneru suggests with a warning as Nami quickly nods in respond, which he smirks while lowering his finger. "Very good..."
'Bastard!' Ventus and Caius mentally snarls.
'So that's how Eneru does it!? It must be the Devil Fruit powers!? And he does it with a single hit!' Nami mentally exclaims with fright.
"What do you want, Eneru? What wicked reason could you possibly have for coming aboard?" Gan Fall demands.
"During the 6 years I've been on this island, I kept your former subordinates very busy." Eneru explains. "They've been slaving away for all these years, and they've hardly had any moment to rest."
"...My Divine Warriors have been reduced to slaves!?" Gan Fall growls with his body trembled.
"They are most extraordinary. Truly, they are great talent, but it appears that their year of hard labor are over. You see, this island is no longer useful to me. Consequently, I no longer require the services of your former Divine Warriors. Perhaps you suspected I have sinister motives in coming here, but I simply come to bid you farewell. That is all." Eneru told him, smirking while continuing to sail. "I will say this, sometimes I envy the blissful, innocent, and stupidity of Skypiea's people. The fools here can only see this island is nothing more than a clump of Verth in the sky."
"What are you talking about?" Gan Fall demands.
"Stupid old man, all these years, you never guess the true reason we see on this island?" Eneru mocks but turns his expression into serious. "The reason that the Blue Sea flies are here meddling on the islands affairs, and the reason that the Shandorians fight so bravely to return to their sacred homeland...You see, all this is happening for one purpose and one alone. There is something that they all seek...the great treasures of Shandora, the legendary City of Gold that prospered on the Blue Sea so long ago. Gold is what brings us all here."
It made Gan Fall shocked of Eneru's reason why he and his priests are here on Skypiea, and why he sent his own Divine Warriors fighting against the Shandorians. Like the Straw Hats, they were looking for the City of Gold that's rightfully belong to the Shandorians, but unfortunately, the Skypieans including Gan Fall never heard of gold.
"What is gold? And why is it so important to you?" Gan Fall questions as Eneru laughed.
"I guess you can thank that arrogant asshole with a superiority complex kept it a secret." Ventus said, earned a scowl from Eneru but he quickly shrugs it off.
"Your ignorance never ceases to amaze, the only people in the world who know nothing of gold are its value live in the mist of untold fortune." Eneru mocks, amused. "You didn't even know what the gold was. So, how could you have won this game? Interestingly enough, a game of survival is at its final play. Whoever wins, gets the gold."
Eneru then lets out a laugh, walking and climbing at the top of the wooden railing while Nami, who's still terrified, Gan Fall, Ventus, and Caius were watching him with anger.
"Can you hear it now? The sounds of our lively little competition?" Eneru said with triumph, using his 'Mantra' while Ventus used his dragon hearing to hear the ongoing fight between the Shandorians and the Divine Soldiers, continuing killing each other while the hearing the loud explosions coming from the bazookas. "As a matter of fact, I'm a contestant myself. So, I must be off."
"Wait, Eneru, the Divine Warriors! Are you going to set them free?" Gan Fall questions, hoping that Eneru had a heart on freeing them. He turns to the Former God.
"God only knows, and he's not telling." Eneru said he vanished with the flash of lightning.
"Eneru, wait!" Gan Fall protests.
"He disappeared..." Nami said quietly, still stunned.
"It's no use trying to talk to him, we have a pretty good idea of what really happened to them." Ventus told him. "He probably killed them with his lightning powers."
Gan Fall widen his eyes in horror, began to imagine of Eneru killing his Divine Soldier which he knows fully well of his complex and his arrogance. He now realizes why Eneru told him that the island and Skypiea are no longer useful. Nami then turns her head to him.
"Are you sure...about that?" Nami questions as Ventus nods without looking at her but hearing a cough coming from Usopp. "Usopp! You're still alive!"
"For the moment, but we still need to get them inside to patch them up." Caius suggests when two of the priests landed on the wooden railings with a laugh, earned their attention.
"As if we don't have enough problems." Ventus said with a deadpan look on his face.
Meanwhile, the loud explosion was coming from the area coming from Wyper trying to fire his bazooka at Luffy, who kept deflecting it with his rubber body and inflating himself like a balloon. Wyper then locked and loaded his weapons, firing his bazooka while Luffy jumps in the air and used his 'Gum-Gum: Balloon' to deflect the bullet right back which the leader of the tribe isn't fazed of his Devil Fruit power as the explosion was heard from behind. Wyper scowls while Luffy grunts as he lands and deflates back into his lanky form.
"I can do this all day if you want, but you can't win!" Luffy shouts seriously, looks at Wyper. "Rifles and cannons won't leave a scratch on me! Rubber body and all!"
"So, it would seem, time for a change of tactics." Wyper snarls, spits the cigarette out of his mouth as he opens the hatch from the bazooka and pulls out a Breath Dial, loads it onto his weapon, and then fires a gas at Luffy which caused him to inhale and noticing a smell.
"Ugh, gross!" Luffy shuddered, covering his mouth and nose while coughing. "What is that smell?!"
"This weapon is called a Burn Bazooka. By igniting the gas released from this Breath Dial and deadly blue flame is created, which will incinerate anything in its path instantly. Let's see if you can bounce this back at me." Wyper said, which Luffy is starting to realize why he changed ammo as he fires blue flames at him.
Luffy won't be able to withstand the intense flames body could burn, quickly dodges by jumping while the blue flames made a big hole at the tree. Luffy screams, lands onto the ground with a hard thud. He then sat up and looked at the hole on a tree.
'What the heck is that thing?! Burned right through that giant tree!' Luffy exclaims, but quickly noticed that Wyper is no longer on that tree branch. "Where'd he go? He disappeared!"
While Luffy looks for Wyper, the waver skis were heard and it got him glanced over his shoulder, saw the tribal leader is about to deliver a kick to the head which causes him to duck back. Wyper snarls, looking at the rubber captain with killing intent while Luffy looked at his opponent with determined glare.
"Gum-Gum: Pistol" Luffy did a handspring and stretches his arm to punch Wyper, but the tribal leader deflects the attack with his waver ski and then jumps in the air as he lands on a tree trunk while the rubber captain launched himself from tree to tree, then leaps after him.
"Gum-Gum: Stamp" Luffy won't give him a moment to counter when he launched his foot at Wyper, who quickly reacts by blocked that attack with his waver ski again.
Both of them are struggling to push their feet, but Luffy launches himself to Wyper which got him noticed with his widen eyes. Luffy was about to punch when Wyper jumps in the air to avoid, causing the rubber captain to roughly land on the ground while retract his foot. Luffy then starts on the offense by delivering a flurry of punches and kicks, causing Wyper to go on defense by dodging every attack while gliding with the waver skis. Wyper lands behind him and fires his Burn Bazooka, causing Luffy to quickly grabs hold of the tree branch and launching himself up into the sky.
"Gum-Gum: Spear" Luffy holds his feet together and delivers a kick simultaneously which Wyper quickly dodged as he then uses his waver skis to glide up to the tree trunk, then jumps into the air.
But just as Luffy was about to land on the ground, Wyper grabs hold of him by the arms with his waver skis and then delivers a Frankensteiner while fires his Burn Bazooka. Luffy stretches his arms and launching himself to dodge the blue flames, and then leaps after the Shandorian.
"So, you like bazookas, huh?! Get a load of this!?" Luffy shouts as he stretched both of his arms backwards.
"Now you die!" Wyper snapped, aiming his Burn Bazooka at Luffy while pulling out his shield.
"Gum-Gum/Burn Bazooka" Both of them attacked each simultaneously when Luffy delivers a double palm strike, breaking the shield and hits him right at the abdomen while Wyper fires his blue flames at the rubber captain. They're sent flying and Luffy crashed against the ground while Wyper coughs the blood out of his mouth as he also crashed against the ground.
Wyper didn't think Luffy would be able to take him down, which it's something he'll give him credit. He sat up with his legs crossed and his bazooka to his side, wanted to finish the fight.
"Straw Hat!" Wyper snarled as Luffy just sat up with determination on beating the Shandorian.
"That bastard is dead!" Luffy snarled.
Wyper stands up while grabbing hold of the Burn Bazooka, looking at the sight of damages of the jungle he and Luffy afflicted. He knows that Luffy is still alive since it'll take more than a Burn Bazooka to take him down, but he doesn't have the time to continue the fight because he needs to get to Eneru at the God's Shrine and kill him.
"Where are you, Straw Hat!?" Wyper called him. "I'll find you! I know you're still alive!"
Luffy panted heavily and it got his attention when he heard Wyper calling him as he stood up, ready for another fight against him.
"Yeah! And I planned on staying that way!" Luffy called back as Wyper readied his Burn Bazooka, but unknown to the captain, a giant snake slithered from behind and eyed on its prey as it lunges at him and bite him whole which leading Wyper confused and the rubber captain screaming in panic. "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!"
Wyper begins to notice a giant snake slithering since it got its lunch, but it got the Shandorian wondering where Luffy is hiding and what is it that made him hearing a loud crash.
'What is that? Where could that kid run off too?!' Wyper mentally questions with a scowl on his face but heard a loud explosion sound which it got his attention and decided not to look for Luffy as he looks at his wrapped-up arm and hand that has a Dial much deadlier than the Impact Dial...a Reject Dial. "Strange, no matter. I shouldn't be wasting my energy on him anyhow. I have a more important battle...all of my strength needs to be saved if I'm going to win my fight with Eneru, and I'm certain, if I use the Reject Dial twice, my body will be reduced to ashes."
Wyper then looks at the sky with a deep scowl, thinking that he'll win this fight against Eneru with his Reject Dial since he knows how it works and the downside, but it's a risk he'll be willing to take if he wants to win the battle.
"It's the end of the line, Eneru!" Wyper said.
While somewhere at the ruins in the Upper Yard, Genbo made a quick work out of the Divine Warriors by firing his bazooka and knocking them all down with only two shots, leaving them heavily wounded. Genbo leaned his bazooka on his shoulder with a scoff.
"So, have you had enough yet?" Genbo asks with a glare, which one of the Divine Warriors barely stands up with a grunt in pain.
"Don't give up now! We must not let him get any further!"
"Shut up!" Genbo snapped. "I'm after Eneru's head! MAKE WAY!"
With that, Genbo aims his bazooka and fires at the Divine Warriors, sending them flying and knocking them down with the cannonball that's made of iron. It got them stunned, but knocked out as the cannonball hits the tree.
"These weaklings aren't worth my time!" Genbo scoffs since he took down the Divine Warriors easily, but just as he was about to continue, a loud footstep was heard and it got his attention. Yama revealed himself from the ruins.
"What an exquisite ammunition you have there. Matter that did just not naturally exist here in the sky." Yama said as he looks at Genbo with interest of his weapon, which made the Shandorian scowls. "The Verth mineral called 'Iron', isn't it? You have managed to make quick work of my men, which is a difficult task to say the least. My guess is that you are the great Shandorian Warrior, Genbo."
"Commander Yama...Good guess." Genbo said, then aims his bazooka at Yama. "NOW GET OUT OF MY WAY!?"
Genbo then fires his bazooka at Yama, who remained calm and then ducks back while kicks the cannonball up in the air. Yama then leaps in the air, despite his sheer size, as he lets out a sinister chuckle with a smirk and delivers a kick, sending the cannonball right back at Genbo, but a figure quickly stands in front of the Shandorian and then delivers a punch, destroying a cannonball with only one hit. It got Yama shocked, but Genbo knows only one fighter who can punch an iron ball as Sareena glances her shoulder.
"Sareena, what are you doing here?" Genbo questions. "I thought you're not fighting with us."
"I'm not! But there's no way I'm letting you take down Yama alone, he's much too strong for you thanks to that 'Mantra' of his and his combat experience." Sareena remarked, then looks at Yama with a glare. "Despite him as a mountain walker, he's still had reflex."
"Ah, you must be the Blue Sea people, Sareena." Yama said, smirks. "I've heard about your deeds with the Shandorians, but I didn't think I get to fight you since you've been a thorn on our side."
"Funny, I could say the same thing about you and your so-called God." Sareena retorted as Yama glares at her. "I've been trying to find some escape routes in order to get back on the Grand Line, but all I got were dangerous predators, priests, and then the Divine Warriors. You and Eneru have also been a thorn on my side."
"Really? Well, I guess I could change that." Yama said with a smirk as he leaps in the air, pulling out a sash that's sewn with Axe Dials while Sareena leaps in the air.
"Heat Crusher" Sareena charges her fist with flames and delivers a punishing blow against Yama, causing him to scream in pain and knocked out with burnt marks.
Yama then crashes into the ground while Sareena stands up with a huff.
"Amateurs." Sareena said, cracking her knuckles as she turned to Genbo.
"I didn't need your help, nor have I ever asked for that." Genbo said with a glare. "But I appreciate it, even if the Shandorians and I missed you being around with us and fighting against those priests."
"I'm not doing this because of Wyper! I'm only doing it because you and your group are in a losing battle, especially if Eneru decided to come here and looking for easy target." Sareena retorted which Genbo is shocked. "Listen, you gotta get to Wyper and warn him before he tries something that'll get himself killed. Knowing him, he's probably looking for Eneru and kills him. I'll go on ahead and catch up with the others."
"And what makes you think I'd be taking orders from you?" Genbo questions.
"You don't have a choice." Sareena told him. "You better get going before that mountain walker wakes up."
And with that, Sareena decided to catch up with Robin and Leon since she left behind in order to help the Shandorians fight against the Divine Warriors and Yama. Genbo can tell that she's strong at her own right, considering her fighting against the Garlean Empire and being a resistant fighter. He decided to comply her orders by gliding his way out of the ruins to look for Wyper, which Yama groans in pain as he stood up and noticed that Sareena and Genbo are no longer here. It got him furious of his first defeat against the monk, never felt so humiliated that Sareena just beat her in one blow and never thought that someone is much stronger than him. He let out of angry war cry, swore on defeating Sareena even if he'll find her and her friends and kill them.
Meanwhile back at the Milky Road, Nami took a few steps back while Gan Fall, Ventus, and Caius looked at the twin priests known at Hotori and Kotori with a scowl. The twins laughed.
Hotori and Kotori are twin brothers that look and dress exactly the same and have some similarities to Satori. They have bodies shaped like giant balls, and they wear white jumpsuits, with a white sash. They wear orange shoes and orange gloves. They also have yellow sunglasses that cover up their eyes completely. Behind them, they wear magenta ribbons and on their heads they are bald. They also have goat-like noses, horns, and ears. They also have small wings.
"Who are you guys?" Nami questions as the twin dances around on the deck.
"That's a stupid question! We're Deputy Divine Commanders!" The twins answered in unison. "You killed our brother, Satori! And you're gonna pay!"
"I haven't killed anybody!" Nami remarked in annoyance as the twins laughed, stopped dancing as they pose.
"Ha! You can call me, Hotori!" Hotori said.
"Ah! And you can call me, Kotori!" Kotori adds.
"And you guys killed our beloved big brother, Satori!" The twins finished their sentence with a laugh.
"Well, that make sense, consider the resemblance of Satori." Caius said with an understanding.
"What do you mean?" Nami inquires, turning to the Reaper.
"He means, Satori is one of the four priests that served under Eneru." Gan Fall clarifies. "The Lost Forest was once their dead brother's domain."
"Then...that must be the priest that you, Luffy, and the guys took out." Nami points out, turning back at the twin priests.
"Sounds about right, and by the looks of them, they wanted revenge." Ventus states.
"Ha, see?! You liars know who he was this whole time!" Hotori snapped, points his accusing finger at them.
"NOW YOU'RE ALL GONNA PAY!?" The twins yelled angrily.
"Pierre!" Gan Fall called him as Pierre tosses his lance to him, causing him to grab hold of it as he, Ventus, and Caius readied their signature weapons. "We must deal with these two quickly and return to the business at hand. We need to find Eneru and rescue my Divine Warriors before the unthinkable happened!"
Nami can tell that Gan Fall, Ventus, and Caius are ready for a fight against the twin priests, but she turned down to the injured and severely burned Usopp and Sanji. She'd rather get the two inside of the cabin safely, but with those twins around, they'll make it harder for her to do that as she brings out her Clima-Tact and readied her fighting stance.
"Nami, are you sure you want to do this?" Ventus asks without looking at her. "We need you to get Sanji and Usopp inside."
"No! I won't do it!" Nami said seriously, determined on fighting those twins. "Even if I did, those two won't make it easy for me. So, I'll be the one who'd protect my friends, and I'll fight!"
"Alright, but we have to be careful. Those twins aren't going to make it easy for any of us and there's no telling what Dials they possess." Ventus warned them as the twins wrapped their arms and danced around the deck.
"We're gonna avenge our brother~! It's time to avenge our brother~!" The twins said in a singing tune with a laugh as Nami, Gan Fall, Ventus, and Caius gets ready for a fight.
Somewhere inside of the giant snakes' belly, Luffy struggles with a grunt in a muffled tone as he pulls himself and stand up, finally frees his head while retracts back in its place. He sighed with relief, but it got him confused when he only noticed the ruins, and everything is dark.
"Everything stopped!" Luffy said, looks around the area and it got him confused, then looks down when he notices the gold and a river that looked like stomach acid, grabs hold of the skull which turns into dust. He then stands up. "Where am I?"
Back at the ruins, Chopper is still wondering around, searching for his crew.
"Hello! C'mon guys, it's me!" Chopper called them, but no respond. "Are you there?! Just answer me, please! I wonder how long it's going to take for the rest of them. This is boring."
Gedatsu, however, tried to search for a certain which he couldn't because his eyes rolled back and the bloodshots are shown.
"Where is it?!" Gedatsu snarled which it got the Divine Warriors attention as he got close to him, much to the goat-man's annoyance. "Where did it go?!"
"Uh, Gedatsu, your eyes are rolled all the way to the back of your head. Honestly, how could you expect to see anything like that?"
"SO CARELESS!?" Gedatsu exclaims with his jaws dropped and his eyes are back as the Divine Warrior showed him a photo.
"Now, how's your vision? Can you see this? Here it is, that puny creature. He's one of those Blue Sea Dwellers."
"Is that right?" Gedatsu said with a glare after the Divine Warrior points his finger at Chopper, who kept on walking while not paying attention to the two. "I just thought it's a racoon dog."
"Racoon dog? No, he's nothing like a wild animal. He walks upright, that is unquestionably a creature that comes from the Blue Sea."
"Luffy! Where are you hiding?!" Chopper shouts, jumping from the top of the ruin, searching for his crew. "C'mon! Wake up already, Zoro! Robin! Leon! Sareena! Hurry up! This is getting lame! Aaah, where is everybody?! THIS IS WHERE WE SUPPOSED TO MEET! Guys! C'mon, I'm lonely and I'm getting a little freaked out here!"
But his mouth dropped when Gedatsu sneaks up on him from behind, but his eyes are rolled back up again and his arms aren't even crossed, either.
"Where'd you go?" Gedatsu growled, earned his attention when Chopper slowly pokes him in the cheek with his stick, but accidently sticks it right on a nose which made him hide behind in the ruin. "Come out right now..."
Gedatsu then bit his lower lip with anger and it got Chopper scream in fright.
'Scary creepy, now he's mad!?' Chopper mentally shouts with his face pale since he'll be in for a fight against one of Eneru's priests.
